In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Age: Current age 20. However, his smooth face results in him appearing to be no older then 18.
Gender: Male
Species: Nobody
Position: Neutral
Powers: Darkness Falls: Gavex will run towards the enemy, tackling him or her into any shadow found. Both Gavex and the victim will fall into a room of darkness, giving Gavex the upper hand, and unleashing a number of attacks before throwing the victim out of the shadow.
Dark Guard: Gavex will create a shield of darkness which will protect only his front or back never his sides (Duration: Only 1 post). This power takes a hefty toll as the guard consumes most, if not all, of his concentration leaving Gavex at a state of weakness when attempting to recover (Recover takes 3 posts).
Dark Teleport: Allows Gavex to teleport to any KNOWN location. Unknown locations must first be traveled on foot before it is able to become a teleported spawn point. Gavex may teleport in battle, but the longer the battle goes on the less of an opportunity Gavex has to teleport. If the battle goes on for too long, Gavex will but unable to teleport anywhere until he is able to recover (Recover takes 3 non-combat posts if the battle lasted for a maximum of 2 posts, 7 posts if the battle lasted for 4, 10 posts if the battle lasted for 6, and will need 14 posts for anything over 6).
Weapon: He holds a sword roughly around 3 feet in length. The blade itself is 2 feet long but very slender. It's width is a mere 1 1/2 inches, yet very strong. The hilt is made of onyx with 4 emerald stones going down the center. It's very useful when parrying against melee attacks, but useless when it's faced against magic (the main reason why the Dark Guard is so vital).
Picture:
Appearance: Gavex stands at a height of 5'6. He has light green eyes and his black hair is up in spikes in medium length with dark green tips. He is rarely seen without stubble around his jaw. Gavex wears a black business suit with a dark green undershirt and a lighter green tie. His pants are black slacks that are ironed and his shoes have been worked on for so long that it even shines in the moonlight. Many times, Gavex is seen with a black homburg hat leaning so close forward it's virtually impossible to see his eyes. On his right hand he holds a tattoo of the Nobody emblem.
Personality: Gavex is a very secluded nobody. He works well alone and tries to avoid joining groups.
He believes that emotion is irrational and that only logic is the true way to be. He does not pity those that do feel emotion, but rather becomes amused at all their emotional problems. Through this, he has adopted the view that the ends must justify the means. He believes that as long as it is for the greater good, then any action he performs is acceptable. Gavex is not one to hesitate leaving hundred into misery as long as it saves thousands.
Though he may be neutral, he leans more towards the evil than the good at most cases. He has always enjoyed the darkness as a way of being unknown. His work usually is done in the night where shadows surround him, not only making powers easier to perform but allowing him to move stealthily.
Gavex is very calm when speaking, even when he's in a worst case scenario. He answers questions in the same manner that they are asked. If the person did not ask a specific question, they were more likely to get a very general broad answer.
Original World: Hollow Bastion Current World: The World That Never Was
History: Gavex was born after a short number of years that Radiant Gardens received it's new name of Hollow Bastion. As a child he was very closed off. He held to a limited number of friends, enjoying all the time he had with them. He didn't enjoy making new friends because he believed that there was no point in having more friends than was needed. Gavex was a very bright young man who excelled in his school works and did enjoy rough housing with his selected group of friends. As the years went on, Gavex became more and more interested in the unknown that went on in the shadows. His friends would try to talk him out of his fascination with the darkness, but he just alienated them more and more. Even his love tried to convince him that the unknown was dangerous and she did not want to see him get hurt or worse. Though Gavex was touched by these words, his curiosity of the unknown could not be stopped. Soon, Gavex will understand that curiosity may have, in fact, been what killed the cat. He was working late, almost excited at the thought of a breakthrough. All the street lights and lights from the houses were turned off due to a large festival that was about to begin. Gavex pulled out his pocket watch to view the time and rushed out his office in fear of being late to his beloved. As he walked down the street he couldn't help but hear that someone was following him. When he turned around he saw nothing but darkness and cast the thought aside as paranoia. It wasn't until the light of a firework explosion behind him that he saw his first sighting of a heartless. Gavex was frozen in fear as the Shadow ran straight into him and attacked him. The next morning, Gavex awoken at the gutter with only the symbol of a nobody on his right hand. He has seen this symbol before and quickly ran back into his office closing the door behind him before anyone around him could have said a simple hello. Gavex ripped books upon books upon books off of his shelves until he saw the symbol in one of the books. Nobody. He was a Nobody. He knew that people will find out sooner or later what he was and decided the best thing to do was to set off. Immediately. And so, Gavex gave excuses after excuses of why he should be left alone in his office. He even cast aside his true love who he intended to marry just a few days from now. As the night approached, Gavex climbed out of a window in his office and moved towards his home. His sword...the sword his father gave him as a present for excelling in his combat class was what he needed. The sword has been through countless of battles and Gavex was sure that it would get him through whatever challenges he would face in the future. As he unlocked the door and smoothly cast it aside, he walked towards the chest near the door and unlocked it using the key he held around his neck. He picked up the sword and made his way off to whatever the future had in store for him.
Role Playing Sample: Gavex continued on his path walking in the dead of night. He was sure that wherever he was now, he was far from Hollow Bastion. His legs felt like they were about to collapse at any second and his back was so tight that it felt if he moved it slightly, it would crack. He decided that it was time now to take a rest from the travel and allow his body some time to regain it's energy.
So this is it, huh? I have nothing more to do but be a mindless, HEARTLESS, walking nobody. But then again...what was the point in the heart? It only made me weaker. To think that I was going to...At that moment, Gavex heard a strange ruffle near him. He got up slowly and walked toward the sound. He only took 7 steps forward before halting.
"It can't be," Gavex exclaimed, but trying to keep his voice down.
His eyes fell upon a dark figure. 5'6 with black spikes. Athletic and, what seemed to be, lime green eyes. His heartless was standing a mere 10 feet in front of him, apparently unaware.
"Well," Gavex began with a smile "It seems I have my first victim." And with this, Gavex smiled even larger. If I kill him, does that make me suicidal or a killer? Oh what conundrum it shall make. How fascinating.
But before Gavex could pull out his sword, his heartless turned to face him. Nobody and Heartless, now face to face in a heated gaze. None said a word, moved, or even blinked. Gavex slowly unsheathed the blade and his Heartless' gaze fell upon the blade.
"Look familiar does it?" Gavex now had his entire sword out and was ready to make a move.
"I'd put that away if I were you. Unlike you, I have friends."
Gavex's Heartless slowly motioned his arm in a circular motion. At this Gavex was terrified at the sight. He was surrounded by Heartless of all manner. He had only one option. To run and run fast.
His body was no longer in pain. Either that or the horror of being surrounded by so many Heartless nulled his pain. Gavex was almost out of breath until he reached a small cottage. He burst his way inside finding himself face to face with a Wizard Heartless. He thought it was all over.
The Wizard Heartless pointed it's wand straight at Gavex. The wand began to spark and grow hotter. Gavex covered his face with his arms waiting for the end as he could hear the fire shoot out from the wand.
Am I...am I...am I dead? With this, Gavex opened his eyes to see a dark wall in between him and the wizard. The wall slowly dissolved within the dark house and he took his opportunity.
Gavex grabbed his sword and made one slash at the Wizard with all his strength, hoping that it would only take on slash. As the Heartless fell, Gavex could not help but make a triumphant laugh. But soon, the laugh faded.
More will come. Who knows when but they'll come! I have to leave...like...now! Gavex poked his head out of the door making sure that it was safe. The second he was sure, he dashed out from the cottage and made his way as far as he could from the horde of Heartless.
I can't have my Heartless running around willy nilly. I have to destroy him. I'll find him no matter where he goes. But next time, I'll make sure that his friends won't be of much use to him!
