In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Compulsion[/u] Regardless of being sentient and self aware Bob is alas a heartless, whilst holding the ability to sense out nearby hearts and give a rough strength to each heart he still is drawn to them in a need to collect them. This shows through occasionally and is something he is yet to be strong enough to control.
Wizardry[/u] Due to his sentience he is able to learn and due to his intellect curious and eager to discover more and more. This enables him to learn magic, the elemental magic is harder to learn and light magic impossible however dark magic is relatively easy for him to learn.

Evolution
By devouring hearts Bob can become more powerfull. Eventually Bob would evolve into a stronger form of pureblood heartless. The evolution map can be seen below. The hearts required are from the Shadow rank.
De-evolution If Bob can resist the temptation of the hearts, he can forcefully remove the hearts he has collected allowing he to move down stages, however when doing this he would no longer be able to perform any abilities that the higher pureblood heartless could of preformed.

Weapon: As a shadow His main weapon is his claws, however Bob also carries around a book with him, this book contains his spells and various other knowledge.
The book itself is black made of a smooth velvet like material but is bound with a single silver chain, the chain is clamped together with a small heart shaped padlock also made of silver.
Picture:
Appearance: Physically Bob looks like any other shadow heartless, only what he carries is different. Instead of not holding any equipment Bob has a small book as detailed above. He also has a small silver ring pierced through his left antenna, the additional weight occasionally makes the antenna cripple and fall on his face.
Although clothing is not required among heartless Bob likes to wear various pieces of fabric that he finds and make his own version of clothing. Usually he will wear a cut up brown cape and wraps it around him as a kind of robe. He also prefers having his trusty brown hat, which has small holes cut in the top to allow for his antenna.
To a passer by when fully dressed Bob may look like a VERY small person (around the size of a Moogle) draped in a robe with a hat, only his beady glowing yellow eyes peaking out of the top of it and two long thin antennas drifting in the wind.
Personality: Bob is a carefree heartless, he enjoys learning and reading. Whilst on his advent us he will generally avoid conflict wherever possible. Not really interested in mindlessly killing and reaping hearts he does however still feel the urges to collect hearts and due to this occasionally has trouble in very public places.
Bob does however have a strange hobby. He loves collecting things, like a magpie he stores anything he finds interest in, quite usually shiny. These are left in the corridors of darkness where normal heartless completely ignore them finding no interest in anything that doesn’t have a heart.
Travelling covered in his makeshift garments he quite often walks about, preferring to walk places and see the worlds that he visits than merely shift through the corridors of darkness. He wants to be something else; he wants to be able to hold on to some sort of humanity and so constantly tries to do acts of kindness, however small.
Severely lacking friends due to most not being all too accepting of heartless he generally ends up walking alone, drowning himself in books or just wandering aimlessly with other heartless.
Unfortunately the fact that he is a heartless has its drawbacks, it makes him want to be violent, he can feel the “dark” side of him constantly tempting him to do bad. Due to this he can quite often be very prankish.
Original World: Traverse Town Current World: Traverse Town
History: Bob was originally a bookseller, he owned a small portable bookstall that he liked to set up in the busy first district, and living in the second district he carried his cart daily into the town to sell his books.
Today was like any other day; Bob picked up his cart and left his small 2 room home. Walking slowly with his cart he pushed open the large doors to the first district and wobbly navigated his carriage of books down the steps. It was difficult, a lot of books always fell off and Bob went and collected them, it was tedious but it beat walking through the third district. Heartless flooded there and it was far too dangerous for him.
Finally the stall was set up and he wound the canopy out and sat on a small deckchair and picked his favourite book and flipped the pages. It was a book of spells, although intelligent with a sky rocketing IQ Bob did not posses any magical ability, he did however love to read it, and pretend he could.
The end of the day came and he slowly packed up his stall, it had been quite a good day, a little boy had come and bought a few Childs books. A woman came and bought a novel and several other punters showed increasing interest. Although it was easy enough to get down the stairs, it was so much harder to get back up. This meant he had to use the Third district, he didn’t like this but it was the only way to get the cart up.
Grabbing his cart he took a large breath before pushing his way through into the third district. Moving at a hastened speed he drifted with his cart quickly along the back streets of the third district.
Eyes… He felt them on him. Glancing back quickly he stared for what could be giving him the creeps, nothing was there. Movement in his peripheral vision dragged his eyes to the left but again… nothing. He continued moving, trying to get out of this cursed district. It was then that he heard a strange sound, almost like jelly wobbling on a plate. Glancing at the direction of the sound his eyes met large glowing yellow globules.
“Shit” he cursed as he glanced at what would soon be his end. Grabbing the black book, the velvet feel of it caressed his hands and opening the lock with the key around his neck flipped the pages quickly. He knew it wasn’t going to work, but when your desperate you will try anything. Mumbling quickly he pointed his hand at the shadow as it waded towards him. FIRE! He yelled, the heartless stopped for a second, nothing had happened, and the shadow moved in quickly. Swiping at his chest he was flung against his cart, and he fell to the floor. The shadow cocked its head lightly and then drove its claw into his chest. The feeling was strange, and to his eyes he saw a heart… his heart, being pulled out of it. It shone, brighter anything else… Then there was black. Little did bob know, that having such a bright heart would save him from oblivion.
His eyes flickered open, everything seemed strange, everything seemed very precise, his vision was superb, he placed a hand over his eye, it was a dream. His hand… that wasn’t his hand. He moved quickly to the nearby fountain, looking in its reflection he saw the heartless. The one that’d attacked him, he glanced around but it wasn’t there. No… he was the heartless.
He waded back to his cart, collecting as much as he could. His favourite book, the key to the lock on the book, a cape and hat that hung on a hook of the cart. The cape was of course far too big. He looked down at his new hands… well claws and using the sharp ends cut the cape up. Wrapping it around him he placed two small holes on his hat, he had strange antenna now and it was VERY uncomfortable to have them compressed against a hat.
This was new but that’s when a thought crossed his mind. “Fire.” He spoke the words but nothing came out. However a small ball of flame blasted from his claw. He could perform magic… Was this a new turn, maybe it wasn’t so bad after all. He was a heartless, the things that before he had hated, but he had been given something that he wanted more than anything else. It was time to start his studying; he could finally become a wizard.
Role Playing Sample: Wandering through the town, a glowing yellow pair of eyes floated along the ground, drifting through, glancing to his left Bob looked at a heartless, it cocked its head at him for a moment before continuing on its way. Becoming a heartless had various perks, heartless no longer bothered him, mainly because he was one of them.
Walking past one various houses finally he reached the first district. Once there travelled down the steps, he got a lot of odd looks but no one said anything, he wasn’t running round trying to steal hearts. He was civilised. He had even learnt how to disguise his antenna, piercing it with a single silver ring, looking more like a part of the clothing.
He walked past a poster of himself, well, the old him, the human him. Missing was the only caption on it, he knew they wouldn’t find him, and no one he talked to would understand. Flicking his fingers the poster went up in a puff of smoke before the ash drifted off into the wind. Turning out down a side road he came to a small collection of shops. He drifted inside to one on the left and opened the door. A book shop, its where he got a lot of his books before. The salesman glanced at him; he was along with the man. “Can I help you young man?”. He felt the draw, a man, so easily targeted. Since this all happened he had longed for hearts, flashes in his memory of what happened occurred.
Looking back up to the man he took a book and placed a few munny on the table. It was amazing what you found these days.
Slowly walking home he was happy that today was going to be a good rewarding day of reading and learning.
The second district slowly drifted past as he walked through the cobbled streets. A man slowly approached. Before bobs eyes flashed a small silver object.
“I recommend you cough up some money now.” Demanded the thug, Bob stared at him, directly into his eyes, the yellow globules shining brighter than the sun. He spoke directly into the mans mind “I think you should walk away.”
The mans eyes widened as he looked around mystified, simpletons bob thought to himself. He didn’t like fighting but it was fun to scare people. The man yelled, the stench of alcohol fluttered down to bob. The mans knife span towards him, bob fell inside his shadow, moving up behind him he reformed, staring at the mans back.
Flicking a small fireball towards the mans shoes, they slowly set alight, the drunken man stared down, yelled and quickly began running around before finally taking his shoes off. The mans eyes turned on Bob who just simply glared back before speaking once more “ Please just leave” the man looking around again walked promptly off before breaking into a jog. The man had even forgotten his burnt shoes; smiling widely bob turned his back to the scene.
Walking away Bob chuckled to himself; it wasn’t going to be a good day. It was going to be a great day.
