In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"The moogles, eh...well, these blue ones send off earth tones, so maybe if I just..."
Cutting off, she placed one stone-enveloped hand on two of the crystals, focusing ehr power. In response, the stones crackled and began to grow around her clawed hand, until it was fully enveloped in the blue material. She was still able to flex her fingers, and smiled as she did the other one. As an end result, she had blue crystal claw-gloves that were rather sharp.
"So, this look dangerous enough?" she asked Coffee as she poked at the bed with a finger.

"Dangerous maybe, but the true question is 'is it efficient?'" Before she could continued, the viera had to stop and think for a moment, "before you get over-stimulated, you should becareful; the mist haven't died in you yet, which is quite concerning. This is the second time runt."
She wondered if this was the same load she had gotten from Ivalice before coming her or was this kit danger prone into finding new sources of mist to absorb. Atleast she haven't caught the kit snorting heartless.
"Regardless, those will work for the time being. Now are you more stable to continue being in the marketplace?"
Maya looked at her new claws for a moment, then nodded and walked out her door, back to the market
~Some time later~
As she was at the accessory again, she looked through the wares once more, seeing several items that caught her interest. "Excuse me, kupo." said the moogle, catching her interest. "Yes?" she asked, and looked down as the moogle pointed at her item pouch.
"My guess is that you have some synthesis materials, kupo. Mind if I take a look?" With a nod, Maya nodded and poured out her bag, watching the moogle look at them with interest.
Whispering to herself, she asked, "Is this what Coffee was talking about earlier?"

Coffee tagged along this time to keep an ear and nose out for the kit. She was like a ticking time bomb of emotiosn that can be set off unintentionally, and it still bothered the huntress that the mist was still lingering in her, "You would think she slept it off..."
The viera was out in the first district, since she didn't want to be in the same room with pesky moogles. Instead she got herself a treat, icecream, and lapped at it, while oggling worthy eye candy here and there. In a sense it couldn't be helped, since she haven't acted on such tendencies with a runt on her shoulders, and yet again Creme was far to busy to even humor the huntress. The workaholic was easy to distract, but she can get fiesty when it came to her blasted ship.
"She cares about that damn thing than anything else," at the thought, she tossed her icecream uninterested in it and popped a caramel piece in her mouth. Oh the times when the devious bunny would come out of her hiding and try to steal it from her, and now being Creme she had her own crafty and effective way in doing it. Although the huntress may seem annoyed by her actions, she encouraged it by not lashing out; it was the few instances of willingly contact as the viera's lips would- "Screw it all to hell..."
Coffee forced herself out of her daydream clawing agaisnt the cobblestone agitated in various ways. Rumor had it that a lonely bunny was a dead one, but that would be false since they aren't that communitive in nature. For the viera's sake of her 'loneliness', she kept momentary company to warm the nights and leave in the morning. Saga was gone and so was Kigae, and Creme wouldn't give her a time or day unless she pulls the wrench from her craft. Then again Creme and Coffee weren't that sociable verbally, and the viera would perfer to not have to explain herself to Creme; it was like a twisted game to admit to nothing and deny everything between them.
As the moogle finished whatever he was doing, Maya gasped at the item he handed her. It was a ring earring seemingly made of emerald, but which let off a faint magical glow. "That's a special earring, kupo. It'll increase your magic a bit." Maya smiled at the moogle and thanked it before heading back to the other viera, leaning against the wall and switching one of her earrings for her new one. He then looked at the other viera, and noticed the worry.
"Are you okay, Coffee? Looks like you bit down on a bitter plant."

Her foot started to twitch with a sway like a cat's tail, and she looked up hearing the kit. A brow arched as she watched her, she nearly mended to the concept of a prey to hunt down. The marroon eyes stared at her blankly, "not even close...runt."
She looked over the runt's limber figure equipped for speed; her thighs looked toned, but she couldn't calculate how fast she could run or how high she could jump. She have seen her rear before...with a few glances, and it seemed tight from constant moving. Then again such things weren't precise until she takes a handful. The viera rolled her eyes at herself, then a smirk rippled on her lips and a leg crossed the other.
"You may say I'm a bit...down in the dumps, but it can be solved...with a game," she needed to burn off the excess energy, and no one here could match a viera's speed, but a viera. So playing a game of cat and mouse may be enjoyable. "Ready to play a game kit? It can help you out...it may burn that mist out."
As Maya watched the elder viera, she noticed that Coffee was looking at her as a predator would prey, as one of the hyenas outside Rabanastre would chase a rabbit. This caused Maya's ears to twitch slightly, but she nodded to the other viera, asking, "What do you have in mind? I honestly don't see you as the partaker of games."
((SO SHORT! D: *shot*
And my guess is Coffee wants to play Grab-ass? xD))

(Coffee: Don't think of me so primitively, hume.)
"Oh really now?" Coffee literally smiled fangs and all as she was slowly returning to her norm self of Ivalice, "Well I can be quite the sportsman, and I was far more active in Ivalice then here love."
The viera got up and began walking around the kit setting the tone, and she did allow her claws to lightly rake against her bare stomach, "The game: you run...I try to catch you."
She stopped to cup the runt's face looking at her for reassurance purposes; the huntress was a huntress at heart, but she wouldn't treat the kit like a scratching post or rag doll to mar," and you can do whatever you must to not let that happen, and Esmeralda is at the hotel, so I'll play nice."
So, a game as simple as this? Maya rather enjoyed these types of games, for it reflected bits of her childhood that were actually okay. With a smile, she grabbed her staff and flexed her legs. So Coffee wanted to test her agility? Well, she'd get a run for her munny, for Maya had youth and agility on her side. With a single bound, she reached the rooftop nearest to her. As soon as her feet touched it, she began to run, every few steps jumping to a new rooftop. She focused on moving, but would stop after a while.
Right now, distance was her friend, but she knew Coffee's tracking ability and speed were top-notch. So, as she landed in an alleyway that was empty, she decided to make travel a little bit harder. Since the alleyway was shadowed enough that even Maya's sight had trouble seeing into it, Coffee wouldn't notice this until it was too late, hopefully. The earth began rising at random intervals away from Maya, making travel next to impossible. As she smiled at her work, she bounded off in the other direction.

Coffee watched her giving the kit a head start...as if that would mean much of anything. Her ears turned for the prancing runt, and her nose twitched for tuning. With a humph, she croutched down and lept to the rooftops and jumped shortening their distance, but began walking once the runt's sent have gotten stronger.
Her scent went south indicating that she was now traveling on the ground. With the bird eye's view advantage and her sharp ears, Coffee stayed aboved from roof to roof not needing to use labyrinths of alleyways. Her nose flared as her scent gotten stronger, and her ears perked picking up the sounds of running.
Maya's ears twitched as a familiar scent filled her nose. Stopping for a second, she looked around for a way to get away, then turned as another scent blocked out Coffee's. She smiled as she saw a stand with a Moogle selling perfume, very strong smelling perfume. It brought back a memory of Ivalice, where she had escaped the viera who wanted her dead. By running into Rabanastre and using the scent as a cover, she was able to get free.
She smiled as she ran at the stand, throwing some munny at the moogle and gathering up three bottles. As she ran into another alleyway, she threw one bottle at the ground, causing the scent to dominate her scent.
And, she hoped, it would throw Coffee off her track. With a small smile, she ran down a narrow alley, away from her original path.

Moving from rooftop to rooftop, the viera's brows knitted as her nose twitched. That smell was truly disatisfying, but nowhere near as harmful as a Malboro. Not wanting to waste time sight seeing, she continued on using her ears as a tracker as she snorted the stench that wavered at her nose from below. The perk from being up above was that she didn't run right through it. It could've compromised her senses for a while.
"Clever," that scent would cling to that area for a while, but the kit would move on into clean air to catch her with. Leaping away from the alley, her ears turned to pick up the sounds of running. "Still in the alleys...."
This time she picked up the speed deciding to cut the kit off ahead of her once she was closer.
Suddenly, Maya stopped, hearing her pursuer approaching behind her. With a sudden idea, she jumped on the roof and doubled back, until Coffee was within sight. Getting a little closer, she took another bottle and threw it at Coffee's feet as she ran by, then caused the earth under Coffee's feet to tremor violently, hopefully making her lose balance. Then, in an almost taunting way, Maya jumped across the street and continued, this time doubling back her tracks in hopes to throw the other viera off.

Nowhere the heck is she....
Her scent spiked, and her lips tugged into a smirk seeing how the kit stopped her childish flees through the laberynth of the first district. This directness was a different approach, and the viera was intrigued enough to slow herself down. All she needed was contact, and the huntress would have it in the bag. As the kit ran towards her, she stretched her arm out to grasp a hold of her, while her claws were tanted back. Yet the kit was quick enough to continue forward deserving herself a cut for her haste.
Feeling skin rolling under her claws with fluidity caused the viera to stop quickly. As an object fell on her foot, she shook it off instinctive, while her toes squirmed at the new dampness from it. The stench of this perfume would need to be scrubbed off, but fresh blood that wasn't intened to be spilled...kept her focus.
Before her nose could be further jeopardized, she held up her claws to her nose to inhale deep. The floor quavered under her, and the viera crouched down lowering her center gravity to stay atop, "...fuck."
This game was over, since she had a foggy idea of how much damage she caused. Also she unleashed drain on the kit, so she wouldn't be running about soon. With those variable in mind, she moved quickly neglecting the game of cat and mouse. Her movements were more sharped going from one roof to another as she kept the scent of the kit's blood nearby to keep it memorized for tracking.
With a cry, Maya tried to finished the jump she was taking, but the Drain took its tool. She teetered on the edge, then the last of her strength was taken. And, by chance, she fell backwards, right into the middle of an alleyway a short distance from the other viera.
The term "falling into trouble" came ito her mind before it went black, for she hardly noticed the mob of Shadows below her. As her body hit, the Shadows looked at her as if a meal had fallen before her. And, in a way, it had.
((I promise Maya will return the favor later. :3))
