In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

As the other viera laid down on the empty side of the ebd, Maya struggled to get on ehr side, then gave up, but hid under the covers to hide the tears that had formed.
"Kein...died a while ago. She was killed by Imperials for no reason whatsoever." Finally managing to turn, she sighed and said, "To be honest, I don't miss Ivalice as much as I should. I was shunned by most viera for being a mix, and the humes were suspiscious of me." She shifted one mroe time, then laid still, reflecting.
((SO SHORT. D: But it's the best I;ve got right now... )= ))

For Coffee the dots weren't connecting finely, vieras weren't black sheeps in Ivalice, so she found it hard to phantom that this Kein was killed for no reason; a strange knack said that there was one. The question in mind was 'was it justifying?'. Still the huntress remained silent already foreseeing that such conversation wouldn't end well or peacefully, especially when it revolves around an old heart string.
Again the viera found herself disagreeing with the kit; she truly did missed Ivalice: the air, the diversity, the ventures, the lack of boundaries. She missed the free flowing freedom flying the mini aircraft as the winds ruffled her hair; she loved the sting of her straining hunts; the adrenaline rush of hunting down a difficult kill was exhilerating. She missed the sun that would bake her in the Giza Plains before the clouds cast a deep shadow during the raining sessons. Hell she even missed the stench of the Malboros...and the dense forests.
There was too much of Ivalice to miss; the kit just had a suckish experience with how life had dealt her cards. Her nose wrinkled at the situation; she never met vieras so finicky about the minute details since her clan was litered with Rava and Veena vieras. The only one not wanted where those who neglected the woods and the abominations; she never met any of them, nor was she told much about them except that they are a humilation caused by a viera breaking the Green Word.
"You were definately dealt the bad end of the stick, runt," the huntress spoke out, while kicking off her stilhetto shoes. "Sounds like you haven't even lived the highs of Ivalice."
Turning on her side she looked at the kit. Her contemplative gaze shifted to a frown seeing nothing but a lump in the blanket; deep marroon eyes rolled as she peeled the comforter back. The first she saw was the traditional head full of white hair and a pair of bent floppy ears. A chuckled jumped in her chest looking at them remebering Creme's. Floppy ears were rare for Coffee to cross by yet normal. Feel amused, she reached out to massage one of the fluffy pair between her clawed fingers.
"Quite a shame it's most likely gone; I would take you back for you can feel what you missed."
Maya tried to shy away as Coffe stroked ehr ear, then stopped and let her, the small bit of comfort making her feel a little better. "I appreciate the offer, but I'm afraid that I don't want to return to the Wood. My elder hates any mixes, and she called us "mutts". However, her daughter, Kain, shielded me from her abuse. So our elder..."
Here Maya's voice cracked, and she continued softer. "...she stole something rom the Imperials and blamed it on Kain for being a lover of mutts. The Imperials killed Kain, but not before she took some of them with her."
And then Maya broke down, tears falling freely now.

Her small mocha nose snorted at the runt's response as her mind ranted about today's youth and their lack of appreciation. Still it humored her that she was still responsive, which awarded her a playful tug on her ear.
Coffee frowned at multiple things; firstly her brows knitted at the misinterpretation of her words; it deepened with the sad sob story, and wrinkles decorated her forehead at the tears. She truly was equipped or molded to put up with the emotionally distraught; she had to concentrate to stop her ears from turning backwards and flattening, but her discomfort did caused them to twist.
The viera was a jagged piece of glass forged from her own life story that she never shared, so even her comforting words wouldn't come out softly as it should. Her roughness and lack of soft affection had pushed away enough clingy souls; regardless the viera tolerated what she could in her own ways. The clawed fingers tugged the ear she held to get the kit's attention, while her eyes looked at her blankly as if unaffected by what was said.
"I never said I was taking you back to the Woods, runt...," Seriously the kit gave the viera too much credit in absolutely not giving a damn to do something so heartless to advice taking her back to a hell hole she rather run from, "especially if it's going to make you cry so much."
She was actually getting tired of watching the kit cry; it was definately not her favorite pasttime alongside the previous events. Not wanting to see another tear, she left go of her ear to wipe them off. With that mission complete, she went back to massaging the base of the runt's ear. "You should harden those thoughts; they do you no good with your new life."
Feeling more comfortable with her 'assistance', the viera nipped on the tip of an ear giving it a tug with her lips.
Maya gasped as the other viera bit her ear, but realized it wasn't intnded to be threatening. Turning over towards Coffee slowly, she looked the other viera in the eye and smiled. "Thanks, Coffee." She hugged the other viera closer to her, wanting the closeness to comfort her and make her feel better. However, something awoke in her, the feeling she got around Kein all those days.
"Coffee...did you enjoy that kiss?" she whispered shyly. "I just hope it doesn't change anything betwen us..."
He ears twisted in embarrassment, and what she imagined it to look like ran through her head. So, as she hid her face under Coffee's arm, she whispered, "I'm sorry."

Lightly laughing at the runt's reaction, the ear was let go, "No not neccessarily. The Woods maybe a part of Ivalice, but Ivalice isn't soley the Woods. If so...life would be a pity."
A brow arched in concern at the smile the kit gave her, but it relaxed hearing the thank-you and catching on. She was then caught of guard by the hug, but the viera let it be and decided not to fight against it as a hand ran up into the kit's hair. The only reasons she had been this close to another was for sex or someone wasn't looking where they were going and bumped into her. Still even the latter then required so much contact. Finding no harm or foul, she wrapped an arm around the kit for a security blanket.
I'll be damned if I'm getting soft...damn bunnies The kit's head was tucked under Coffee's chin. Her tongue darted out to nip the youth's ear again. Hearing her name, the viera hummed in acknowledgement.
"That still bothers you, runt, a kiss, or must I kiss you back to even it out?" The huntress lightly licked the kit's ear teasing before chuckling and nipping it. At times the runt reminded her too much of someone she knew to the point it was ridiculous. Wiggling back, she lifted up the kit's head by her chin.
"To answer your question, I perfer kisses meant for me, which like I said before I'm not ridiculing you for a mix-up," then an idea perked in the viera's head as she brought her lips closer to the youth out of curiosity. She spoke lightly in a whisper, while her lips ghostly touched the others," Why, do you have another kiss for me, Maya?"
It was probably wrong to tease and poke the kit into a corner, but the viera saw it as free-game since she brought the kiss up for whatever reason.
Maya let the kiss come, but was surprised at this change of mood from Coffee. It was as if she had stripped her of innocence, and her wild side was kicking in. She bit lightly on Coffee's lip, and said, "Now, who's to say the kiss wasn't for you, Coffee? Well, this one is especially for you." Another nibble broke the skin, letting a little bit of blood flow free, then Maya kissed ehr again, entwining their hands together.

Mmm that won't be the only thing that would be mine
The viera mind had to pause; her possesiveness demeanor was normal; the viera hardly had a sharing bone even with those who were temporary. With her, you were hers only. Compared to other times and situations, this one felt the most sinful? Saga was far more...sexier and seductive with her ploys; Creme...was an anomoly altogether. Sure it lure the viera to stick around to see how she functioned, but the responses she ever got was playing with her ears or the veena viera stealing caramels from her mouth. Kigae she haven't gotten that far with, but she doubted the warrioress would've mind; they shared the same wavelength with the brashness in fighting.
I bet she would be a biter as well
Perhaps it was the fact that this wasn't what she had expected from a child. She was used to such bashful expressions from the youth, but not this 360 turn around to a nibbler. After a while, she wondered how 'childish' this woman-child was. With their hands entertwined, Coffee had a foreshadowing chill that this could be wrong in some levels.
"Mmm the first time you thought I was that Kein of yours," the viera replied a matter-of-factly,"whiich I doube she would appreciate. It seems she can get a little jealous, kit. She get the soft kisses, while I get the biter. Now I can think of many ways to piss her off, but for now humor me, why?"
The viera asked as she used the kit's hand to her tap her own chin.
(Ellie: ...you made the whore... Coffee: hmm I have a feeling I did something...illegal Ellie: ...robbing the craddle Coffee: ...-3- she's like a woman-child Ellie: ...don't they call those lolitas... Coffee: o-o hmm...)
Coffee's bashful side returned as Coffee spoke in her serious tone, and she stuttered a couple times, then quickly turned around, feeling the pain of her injuries but hiding her face all the same. "Me and Kein never got that far...I really shouldn't have done that!"
Her ears twitched rapidly, and she bit on her finger to keep from moaning in embarrasment, tasting blood as she bit down. Inside, she was mentally beating herself, for she was convinced that she had made a move too quick, and now she would lose one of her only friends on this world.
She bit harder.

The viera stared watching the runt struggling to speak. Her ears turned backwards as she wondered if she said the wrong words coming off insensitive to this late Kein. Her ears fully flattened when the runt turned away from her.
Damn...way to gooo, she opened her mouth, but Maya beat her to the punch. She chuckled and shook her head as her right arm pulled the runt closer to her, while her left hand squirmed to pet one of the twitchy ears. The runt was truly a bundle of emotions jumping from one thing to the next; it's as if she truly couldn't help it. It was cute in a way, but it could be alarming depending on what is triggered.
"Kit you have a thing for jumping to conclusions. I don't remember complaining," although the runt couldn't see her, the viera pouted feigning pain," and it would be cruel of you to take back a kiss meant for me. No matter, I'm flexible."
She turned the runt back over to face her for she could rest her forehead on hers, "Now stop the biting; it's unbecoming of you, Cupcake. You should rest and stop over exerting yourself; you already had a hell of a day."
The young viera finally relaxed and snuggled Coffee, feeling no of the intamicy she had earlier. he realized that their friendship would start slow, and she wouldn't want it any other way.
But the blood of the other viera did taste good. But no matter, she was tired, and she rested her head on the other viera's busom, though she was asleep before she hit so therefore didn't notice.
Tonight would be the best she had slept in a while, due to the lack of Mist, and as she slept, she dreamed good dreams, some of herself, some with Coffee, and even some with Note and Ienzo.

The Assassin held back a laugh as she let herself relax to close her eyes. The kit had a lot to learn and enjoy; it seemed that the Woods in Ivalice had placed her at a disadvantage in both; she hadn't gained much through life, so it seemed she hardly lived, or how Note would put it, 'her story isn't over'.
They both needed a moment for life to finally breath for the first time and feel a rush. She could push them towards that, but first they'll need to get off of this world. She didn't find it fit for a viera; they were born in the wilderness, the wild, and the tamed boring domestic would do nothing for them. Well it wasn't doing much for Coffee finding it hard to cope when she had better.
