In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The reason why it's called Crack, because it may be one of the most *wargish* projects...I thought of. I won't be at any internship this summer; I will be working though, and I will have my own pc and downloads of Autodesk softwares.
So yes the crack idea was animate a video for WD for its anniversary, which thankfully isn't until next year. I am sooo not traditionally animating this. Idealistically it will be original character focus, because I don't want to model existing characters.
I'm a perfectionist by nature, and I know it won't due the originators' justice. I don't know the characters' model sheet and wireframe like the back of my head. The only way I can see myself doing them if I pretty much study them intensly with the 360 view in the journal entries (which even then they have test animation on them to show the movement of everything).
Do I know for suuure what I want to do...eeh not really. I'll have to start from the ground up of script, storyboard, character concepts, enviroment concepts (which I may be economical on my sanity and set it in ooone place...that's if I'm BWHAHAHAHA enough to go through this.)
-3- So what does this leads to. Practicing with Character Modeling, and I've already gotten an a-okay from Rook to use ironically Rook as my ginuea pig. (Idealistically will start drawing until classes are over and done with...can't be distracting myself with projects...that won't pass me in my classes). So this is just post-production vomitting perhaps to help Ellie organize her brain vomit. My brain is always reeling so much that I've heard it's very noticeable.
Also if you wouldn't mind Ellie testing and improve her skills on your charries just say so. I will say...have a concrete description of your character or even an image for reference, because I would have to draw out a model sheet for them unless you want to draw it yourself. I will have tipsies for model sheets bellooow.
Model Sheet: - must have front, back, and side perspective of charries - only generic pose with their arms out. It's easier to model. - digitally colored (atleast digital line art) - have a seperate model sheet for ze noggin
OC Guinea Pigs (i should probably start at 3) + Rook + Nadia +
||notice: o3o;; do not expect me to draw in the aesthetics known to Americans as 'animeee'....those never looked good in CGI, and it's an overal trend setter. (Ellie usually flees from trends) Then again there is Appleseed...but they look tooo plasticy||
Facial Features: Similar to this, though her hair is much longer (waist-length) and purple (yay for unnatural colors!)
Clothing: MERCENARY POWAH! This is the closest thing I could find to my mental picture. Just remove the googles, the rocket launcher around her wrist and the sneaky shield on her knee and you basically have her outfit. The leather's color on Nadia's is a grayish silver while her top is black.

-3- pssh I can't even make hair yet. Sure I know the application to make it, but not to keep it attached to the model (the realistic hair dynamics). I've seen turtorials for poly hair, but some of it...looks cheap and cheesy.
I actually found a...pdf file of all the variations hair is made. -3- damn need to find it again
