In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

She stopped walking suddenly. "And I just realized I have no idea where I'm going." She looked left, then right. "Hey, look, hole in the wall. I want to check it out. How about you guys?"

Ariana stared at the large gap in the wall. "Interesting." she mused, still staring. "I certainly don't mind, how about you?" she said to Hero. She glanced at the gap - a large forest lay beyond. Now if what she heard was correct, a large mansion should be in there as well....

(( Erk! Ariana has Dirb's Whoremones now! NUOOOO- ))
Hero closed his eyes, crossed his arms, and dropped a forebodingly heavy sigh. He bared met these two people - no, Ariana and Holly, and now they were going to examine some strange hole in a wall? It was already part of the tourist attractions, so Hero had seen it multiple times whilst he was working in the company. However, if Holly really didn't know where she was, there was a good chance that her world was a victim to the heartless. If her unkowingness continued, added to that a loss of company, she would become a victim herself. The forest wasn't exactly a pleasant place, and the mansion was locked up and abandoned.
Very rarely was Hero actually asked to climb over the vine-infested brick wall.
Holly walked up to the hole, and squeezed through. On the other side was a very nice forest. The light was dim, and the trees were very tall. She smiled as she looked around, then noticed a break in the trees. Beyond it was a large mansion. "Lets check out that house!" she said, looking back at her two new friends.

Ariana followed Holly after a glance at Hero, bending down to get past the gap. She looked around - there were lots of trees around them, creating lots of paths. One stood out for being wider then the others though, and Holly certainly noticed it. Smiling slightly, she walked to Holly's side and said, "It might be dangerous, but if you're really intent to take a look around, let either me or Hero go first, and the other can follow your back. This way, if we stick close together, nothing should be able to hit you easily."

"Yes, it, uh, sounds like a plan."
Even though Hero was sent here multiple times in the past, most of the missions were focused towards examining plants or strange creatures in the forest portion of the area. He usually wasn't required to go near the abandoned mansion, but he was indeed curious about it. The problem of heartless still persisted every now and then - all the better reason to stick to Ariana's plan.
Despite is looks, though, Hero was particularly frail. The only reason he was able to withstand heartless was because of his ability and his weapon. Ariana looked strong, so Hero hoped he wouldn't end the day cleaning up more bruises and cuts.
"You know, I haven't spent ten years training so that I could hide behind other people. I may not look it, but I am pretty strong." Holly barged out in front of Ariana, and walked up to the gate. There was a lock, but that wouldn't stop her. She smiled and help out her hand. Vines shot out of the flower, and wrapped around the top of the gate. Holly got close to the gate, then gave the vines a tug. She shot into the air, over the gate, and landed with a roll. She stood, turning back to the other two, and smiling. "Besides, I have practive getting into places that I don't belong."

Ariana looked amused, and walked to the gate. She eyed the lock for a while. "Now I can do this the easy way, or the hard way..." she thought for a while. Then she realized Hero probably couldn't climb over very easily, and lightly bent down, inspecting the lock. It was a little rusty, and Ariana smirked. She took a step backwards before turning and kicking the lock hard. There was a pleasant (To her..) twang and the lock broke. Lightly pushing open the gate, she walked in. It certainly looked like a big mansion.

Hero was shocked. A single kick took out the almost century-old lock? Well, the reason it broke was most likely due to the century old part. Hero followed Ariana and Holly's lead through the mansion gates.
"Woah." said he in mild surprise. He had never really been this close to the mansion before - he heard it was off-limits, but certainly, nobody was watching them, so how could it hurt? He took a moment to look the mansion up and down. He took a few uncertain steps to the door and grasped the handle- but he didn't.
"ACK!" Hero yelped. No sooner than he had even touched the doorknob had he felt a ripping sensation tear at his back. There was no draw blood, but he felt stinging pain rush to his spine. He spun on the spot to find a small heartless peering up at him through curious yellow eyes. Hero made a feeble attempt to shoo it away with his foot when it lunged. It was suddenly on his chest, and Hero fell over. It was trying to scratch everything it could see, and it did not hurt much, but it was very distracting - similar to being attacked by a large number of mosquitoes.
Hero's hand finally grasped the crowbar stowed away in his cloak. He quickly pulled it out and hit the side of the heartless' head with a satisfying squishy noise. It landed at a heap far away and dissolved into nothingness.
"Oh, hey! That's dirty! Who booby traps a doorknob?" Holly was a little angry. This stupid house had just attacked her friend. She reached into a pouch, and pulled out two seeds. She tossed one, saying, "Grow!" A Tangle Bush sprouted at the foot of the door, and proceeded to grab the handle. Another Shadow appeared, but the Tangler grabbed it and swung it at the door like a club.
Meanwhile, Holly had pulled Hero out of reach of the plant. "Do you need any help? I've got a Heal Bell seed," she said to him, looking at the scratches.

As she walked around, she heard Hero wail, and she swiftly turned around. With a loud twang, Hero had slammed a large metal object into a Heartless, which, apparently, came out from the door, from Holly's words. Holly hurled seeds which expanded into a large bush which began....combating with the door, ridiculous as it may sound.
Gently waving her hand around, wind pulsed through her arm yet again, and she pulled Grace out, albeit somewhat dramatically. She quickly strolled to the door, more and more shadows were popping out, but the bush was holding it's own pretty well. One managed to escape the captivity of the bush and leaped out at Holly and Hero. She delivered a swift slap with her fan and sent it flying back into the bush, which promptly started slapping it around. "Are you both alright?" she said, glancing behind her shoulder.
Hero stood. He didn't want to impose on Molly or Ariana, so he politely refused the seeds, the scratches weren't nothing more than small marks except for one audible streak on his left cheek. Soon, the entrance would be filled with Shadows, and he wasn't sure if they had enough time to call for help. What a bother.. all this over a single trip to the museum.
The small heartless swarmed around the entrance - Hero stepped forward.
"Please stay back a moment."
He raised a palm, his gaze now narrowed and keen. For a moment, nothing happened, then, a loud, cracking sound pierced the air, along with the sound of extremely rushed currents of air. Hero appeared to have shot some invisible force out of his hand, for the sound of impact was audible, and the heartless dispersed - the door was knocked down.
Well. They didn't have to worry about touching the handle anymore at least.
Hero suddenly fell to his knees - he'd never used as much Kinetic energy as the one he just did. He clutched at his chest and tried to make out steady breathing. After a few seconds or so, Hero made to stand up using the sharp end of his crowbar as support.
"Hold on. Shrink!" The Tangler slammed all the Heartless in its grip into the ground, then shrank back down into seed form. Holly picked it up, clubbing a few of the heartless over the head with her flower wand to keep them on the ground. "Yes, lets. I want to see what is being hidden here to warrant door wards."

"I'm game." Ariana said in a grim voice. "Perhaps the Heartless assaulting the town are originating from this mansion.." she added. Hero had just exhausted a powerful blast of energy that scattered the Heartless instantly, most died, but a few were being held back by Holly.
One escaped her wrath and Ariana slammed it downwards. The writhing Heartless finally dispersed, and Ariana walked to Hero, who was, apparently, having trouble standing up. Lightly wrapping her arms around his strangely soft chest, she hefted him up lightly. "Do nothing of that sort again, unless we're all on the verge of death, or over." she said firmly. Releasing her firm grip, she glanced into the mansion. "Well. Ladies first, I guess." she said before stepping through the door into the somewhat dark mansion.
