Position: Neutral – Due to things in his life, Zane finds it difficult to join one side or another.
Powers: Resolve – A passive magic that was generated from the will power of Zane’s heart. Due to the darkness in his heart that threatened to overtake the light. Zane is forced to focus on restraining said darkness, this causes certain effects to happen. One effect is that while Zane is strong of mind and spirit dark magic has a reduced effect on him. Be it less damage or a reduced time of a slow of what have you. The Secondary effect is when his resolve is at a high – This can be caused by wanting to protect a friend, or a strong ( Abnormally strong ) Sense of Self control – He will be empowered feeling refreshed, stronger, faster and over all more powerful. This effect last at most 6 post. If He loses the resolve to protect a friend or self control the empowerment is instantly dropped.
Sword Play – Zane has studied in the way of the Sword from a local warrior on his world, due to this he is skilled in the workings of a blade and other weapons. The style of Sword combat is called Seventh Circle, this style relies on constantly moving and evading. Staying in the blind spot of the enemy and acting with Lightning fast attacks that belie the true strength of the hits. The conditioning this style as given Zane is astounding as he can continue fighting for hours on end because of the rigorous training.
Acrobatics / Movement – Because of his training and the environment he trained in Zane is acrobatic and Fast. The speed he can run at is around that of a State or National Track runner, his reflexes are sharp as the blades that he wield. Along with the speed he Carries, he is a natural at parkour, or Free running, due to this constant motion he has become quite alert and naturally responds to fast moving things.
Basic Magics – He is in the process of searching to find a teacher to teach him basic magics like Cure, Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder.
- When darkness consumes - He has all of his other abilities except for Resolve. He gains an affinity for darkness and is often uncontrollable unless knocked out or he pulls his own heart from the darkness. His Strength and speed are Augmented at the start of this. The Effect last 7 Post or shorter if Knocked out of his rampage.
Weapon: Kangen : Literally – Resolution / Kurai Musuo : Literally – Dark Dream
This weapon is a sword crafted and given to him by his master who trained him. As a warrior for light his master noticed the seething darkness that was embedded in the boy, so he created this weapon to stimulate the power of light. Sadly this sword because to attached to Zane, and became symbiotic with him and his heart. Causing it to be empowered and change shape depending on the form Zane takes. Normally the sword appears as a 4 foot long Katana, with engravings in an unheard of language. It reads “ Seal the Darkness with light.”
Resolve Empowered – When Zane is in the form where his resolve is at the peak, the sword grows a foot, and the Engravings shine. Changing to “ Light calls to The heart.” The Blade leaves trails of light in its Wake after being slashed, and the hilt Grows and angel wing guard. Last for as long as Zane is in Resolve Empower.
Darkness Consumed – When Zane is over come with darkness the Sword completely melts away on his skin and forms a dark gauntlet that is engraved with “ Darkness envelopes all who seek it.” The Guantlet leaves a smoke like aura of darkness around the right arm of Zane. If left unchecked an eye will open from the Center of the gauntlet. It is possible for the Eye to fire some dark particles.

Appearance: Zane is a 5’11 male with a finely toned body weighing around 180 pounds filled with power unleashing muscles. The size and girth of his muscles aren’t impressive but the tone, and stone like nature of them is. His hair is two toned opposite colors, the upper part silverish, the under layer pitch black. Sadly his hair wasn’t always this way. He normally dresses in a Tank top, with a shoulder guard on it, perhaps a jacket as well. And Some comfortable looking pants and shoes. Nothing out of the ordinary. He keeps his sword strapped to his back. What is out of the ordinary is a Tattoo like seal that is over his hearts. It’s a lock type portal that his own father placed on him. A Link to the realm of darkness that feeds darkness into his heart. It appears as a heart with chains wrapped around in and what looks like closed eye lids on the center of the heart. When Consumed by darkness the chains disappear and the eyelids open.
Personality: Zane is complicated to say the least due to the things that happened in his life you could say he is an actor? He fakes the façade that most people who encounter him see, the role he plays if one of a normal person, fun loving and happy though this is probably the farthest from the truth. The Darkness that seeps into his heart constantly makes him bitter, angst driven and easily provoked. He is sour about the relationship he had with his father, and even more so about what happened to his world. He is easy to make angry simply due to what happens normally when he lets people in. They disappear, that is something that he normally blames on himself. He fears many things, most of all he fears the return of his father, and the darkness. Then comes being consumed by the darkness, feeling overwhelmed or out of control. He fears these trivial things.. Is certain situations he can be brave, in others he will be selfish, he is only human.. he is far from perfect and he knows that.. The darkness in his heart knows that to.

A man walked through the corridors of the house, his long silver hair waving in the wind that wafted through the open window. The black eyes with pupils rimmed with a dark yellow looked up at the moon through the open window. The man was staring at the moon, as if it were a prize that he would take with his own hands. A sinister look came about his face as he dropped his eyes to his hands, as wisps of darkness conjured up, the yellow of the man’s eyes intensified until the sounds of crying shattered the silence in the air making the man grumble. Crushing the darkness in his hand, as he did so the yellow in his eyes vanished from his pupils as he walked into the bed room to find a beautiful women with black hair sitting on the bed. Holding a baby with the same kind of beautiful jet black hair.
“ Look honey! Little Zane is awake, he has your eyes dearest..” The woman spoke in a soft voice, caring and loving as she looked from her son to the man she loved.
“ That is wonderful, Alissia.. I’m glad you got to see those eyes…you may never see them again..” The eyes of the man had returned to the menacing yellow of darkness as he stared at his Wife.” Good bye, Alissia.. I’m sorry you won’t see Zane Grow up..”
“ Alister! Don’t!..” a Shrill howl entered the night, as a Dark blade punctuated the woman. Alister took the still crying child in his hands as he walked from the room that began to erode in darkness. His smile was bone chilling as darkness consumed the home and he walked out into the dead of night. No one would know what happened that night.. No one would tell Zane.

The six year old ball of energy ran around in the front yard, swinging a toy sword while a man with long hair sat on the porch looking at his son train. The boy was a natural, he was good hearted and strong willed.. Sadly he was drawn to the light, that was something that Alister had to rectify. You see Alister loved the darkness, and because of this when the darkness took over his life he wasn’t turned into a heartless.. He because a warrior for the darkness, that happened around a year before Zane was born.. With all of this darkness in Alister’s heart and wanting to make Zane into the perfect dark warrior he was willing to go to the extremes..
“ Come here Zane.. We have much to do..” The smooth voice held caring sound in it, so Zane followed into the basement of the house.. “ Your Destined to change the world Zane.. I know you can do it.. and I will help you.. Lay here my son.” The boy complied with the request laying down on the center of the floor..
“ Good my child..” He praised his Son, but Zane felt that something was off.. so he looked at his dad’s eyes and Saw that yellow.. the light in him knew.. and he tried to raise up.. Sadly the force of Gravity magic held him to the floor. “ stay my son.. and Live in everlasting darkness!” Alister began to float with a purplish aura around him, as darkness began to swirl around the room. Then everything was still.. and the ground under Zane glowed black light, the Symbols that appeared on the ground raced from the ground on to Zane’s body and situated over his heart. Before his father poured all of the dark energy he could muster at the time into Zane’s body.. The effect was instant, a rift leading to the realm of darkness. And it was placed inside of Zane’s own heart.
Zane at that time had no control.. he was ravenous and he was put under lock and key until one day a savior came to him. A man named Shin, his light radiated so brightly that it burned away the darkness in Zane’s heart for a moment. Alister was away… In his chambers preparing for something big.. while he was away these words were the last things Zane would hear under the roof of Alister.
“ Come with me.. to the Light..”

The past 12 years had been a dream, nothing bad happened to Zane. Nothing could Deter him and Shin from rendering the Dark seal on his chest destroyed, they were headed on that path. For you see Shin was a true warrior of Light, someone who studied the light, just like others studied the darkness. He knew the workings, and the power that light could bring. And so he taught Zane everything he knew about the light, teaching him what it would bring, what it could do.. and how such power would save him from a fate destined for darkness.. For those twelve years, Zane trained under the Tutelage of Shin, under the Night of black sky.
“ Master shin! What is happening!” The teen ran up from the training grounds seeing his teacher with sword in hand looking up at the sky. “ Shin what is happening!”
“ Your Father is starting up once again.. but this.. this is ridiculous.. all of the darkness is coming out to that mountain!” Shin raised his sword to the mountain, it was obviously the hole that was letting in the darkness..
“ I’ll Go Shin!” “ NO! You mustn’t Stay here! Don’t let go of Kangen!” The master blinked off, light in the area fading as Zane looked on to the mountain he saw him master covered in light diving into the opening.

Diving into the billowing darkness was like a nightmare, in the darkness there were these creatures grabbing and clawing. Like they were reaching out for the powerful heart that was burrowed in the chest of Shin. The Swords men slashed them away back into the darkness when he landed at the back in a tunnel system.. he saw him. The man known as Alister.. Though he was changed his body seemed to be that of a monster.. but the same eyes and voice was there.. a Horrid smile, and yellow eyes greeted the man. “ I see.. You are the protector of this world.. and it’s heart.. Sadly.. you are nothing to the Vast power of the Heartless!” Alister’s Arms raised and shadows rose the from the ground quickly Subdoing Shin.. “ What a pitiful light.. I hope my son feels that light leave your body! Now gaze warrior of light! At the Keyhole of the world! As it now unleashes Ever lasting Darkness!”
The only bit of light came from a thrown sword that was launched by Shin. The light of it slammed into Zane, and the teenager was gone. Pushed through space through a corridor of light, The teen found himself slumped on the ground of a new world.. a new land.. And memories of seeing his home world engulfed in Darkness..
Role Playing Sample: The click clack of feet stepping on the cobble stone ground of Radiant garden was calming, as the black and silver locks swayed in the wind. It had been a year since he was dropped off his by the thrown sword of Shin and remembering that still hurt. But he had things he had to do and moving on from the past was something everyone must do at some point. The look of aloofness was plastered on Zane’s mug as he watched the clouds pass over head, he was feeling like things weren’t going his way and perhaps they weren’t but still it was the life of a man walking two paths. That was what his teacher called him, The split Path.
“ Master you always said I was too in tuned with both sides of the spectrum, how body light and darkness would forever exist inside me.. I just can’t help but blame my Father.. It is his fault….” His hand ran through his hair while he looked onward, heading for the great maw..” I know.. your alive out there master.. I’ll find you.. I just wish you didn’t leave me alone.. sitting here to rot.. with this darkness eating me away.. Why shin.. Why did you go that night!” His fist clenched as he felt anger welling up in his system he kept walking forward forever thinking.
Now he wasn’t just on a leisurely walk to the great maw for no reason, or just to think about the destructiveness of his father and the darkness, or what happened to Shin. He was on a mission, he had to confront someone about some things.. Or was it some ones? There was a quite a crew waiting for him in the center of the great maw..” damn.. They brought out everyone for one guy.. Oh well!”
The form of Zane jumped down from the cliff sliding down the slanted rock face, knocking down boulders and what not that came barreling behind him, “ Hola Fellas!” The façade of an energetic male was put on as Zane Launched off of the rock face as some rocks slammed into about twenty of the goons.Still about ten to fifteen were left, ready to rumble persay.
“ Look Fella’s if you just stop trying to extort the shop up the way there we will be fine, and everyone can go on with their day without someone having to get a food in their ass, ok? So Lets –“
He was attacked in the middle of his Sentence by the man to his left, A swift hop step put Zane behind the man, when he then grabbed him by the back of the neck.” Bad Choice!” Zane kicked him into his homies, when the real party Started. Zane was maneuvering and sliding between fists and feet as they all assaulted him. Giving him the time to Precisely execute all of them with devastating knees and elbows. When they all were slumped to the ground, Zane dropped the nice Act for a while before nudging one with his foot.” Is it Wrong to pick on the weak..” He stood up before continuing while he walked off.
