In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Alrighty. Here is the current general summary of the site plot regarding what we have for the KH lockdown so far. Please post if you'd like clarification on ideas that I haven't included.
--
Kingdom Hearts lies within the Realm of Darkness. It is canonically made of world Hearts and the Hearts of people. Xemnas created a synthetic Kingdom Hearts by redirecting the flow of the Hearts of people into The World that Never Was, so that they'd collect there rather than the real Kingdom Hearts.
When Ansem the Wise (DiZ) set his encoder upon the synthetic Kingdom Hearts, attempting to recode it and take control over it, he found it was too complex for his device. It rebounded, banishing DiZ to the Realm of Darkness, freeing Riku from the darkness, and tearing the synthetic Kingdom Hearts so that Hearts rained down from it. These became corrupted the minute they touched the darkness of The City that Never Was, and turned into Heartless. Xemnas would have had to start over.
However, he took a drastic measure and entered his synthetic KH, merging himself with its power to defeat Sora and Riku. When he was destroyed this KH was severely weakened. This coupled with the thousands of Hearts leaking from it triggered a defense mechanism for self-preservation. This massive expulsion of power in order to forge a lock and lock itself pulled the particles of the Organization together and revived them.
The synthetic KH, no longer the center of gravity for hearts, fled to the greater one - the real Kingdom Hearts. Hearts are not bound by realm barriers, hence why they reach KH in the first place. In entering the Realm of Darkness, the synthetic KH was accepted by the real Kingdom Hearts as a Heart, and they merged.
In this unification, however, the two synchronized, and the entire Kingdom Hearts adopted a defense mentality that triggered the ultimate lockdown.
In regards to the return of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness:
One solution can be that after being destroyed by the light of Kingdom Hearts, Xehanort's heart floated around just long enough until Xemnas redirected the tides of people's Hearts. Then the Heart would be swept into the synthetic KH. When DiZ's encoder ripped open the false entity, his Heart could have leaked out and become corrupted alongside the others, bringing Ansem SoD back to life moments before Xemnas' first 'life' ended. Then there'd be the lockdown in which he was revived.
This would have to tie into Rook's timeline of him a bit too. We can discuss if this version it would fit with you. -nod-
In regards to Roxas and Namine:
At the end of Kingdom Hearts II, Roxas (Sora's Nobody) and Namine (Kairi's unique Nobody, born when Sora, containing Kairi's heart, stabbed himself with the Keyblade of People's Hearts) merged with their counterparts. However, after the lockdown Kingdom Hearts needed all the help of the Light that it could get. It re-extracted Roxas and Namine - Namine obtained the powers of a keyblade in this process, as is natural for the biproduct of two keyblade wielders, but Roxas left behind his memories as he withdrew. Namine didn't as her abilities over memory kept hers intact.
To explain Mickey's absence:
Ever since a fateful meeting with the Door of Possibilities (which can be depicted in a locked/stickied thread linked to the new site plot one), the King has been traveling in an attempt to discover more about what ails Kingdom Hearts. He's withdrawn contact with others to avoid the risk of his investigations being discovered by an unwanted party.
Just as an alternative, here were some previous ideas for the lockdown of Kingdom Hearts. However, they have not been completely fleshed out:
Destruction of synthetic KH;
What we've gone with is that when Xemnas merged with his own creation, and was destroyed, so was his own synthetic Kingdom Hearts.
To create the synthetic Kingdom Hearts, Xemnas manipulated the force of the real KH to make a synthetic one, and redirected the hearts towards it. In this, you could assume that the 'synthetic' KH was still part of the real one. Xemnas merged with the force of his KH to beat Riku and Sora. Therefore, when he was killed, that force was destroyed as well. This left the real KH with a gaping hole.
Note that the hearts aren't what were destroyed. They fell out and became corrupted in TWTNW. (Due to Ansem the Wise and his encoder.)
Issue: Xemnas neither knew niether where the real KH was nor how to get to it, so would not have been able to wield its force to create his own KH.
Corrupted hearts:
When Ansem the Wise used his decoder against the synthetic Kingdom Hearts, it backfired. It ripped the force holding the synthetic Kingdom Hearts. This caused the thousands of thousands of Hearts to spill out, and were corrupted the moment they reached the darkness of TWTNW, turning into Heartless.
Xemnas fused with the force of his creation then to gain power, left with no other choice, although Hearts were still spilling and corrupting. This massive wave of darkness from the corrupted thousands effected the real Kingdom Hearts. (It was vulnerable due to the fact that it was lacking the Hearts of People.)
Issue: Precisely how a surplus of darkness could have reached and effected the real Kingdom Hearts would need to be worked out.

//*cracks whip*
+ Need to insert that Roxas and Namine were withdrawn from Sora and Kairi respectively due to KH to multiply numbers of keyblade wielders ---> which can yield to the emergence of more wielders such as: Rook and Malakai.
Remember this helps the concept of Namine having a keyblade, since...she was accepted with one. The only thing is that it isn't genuine like Xion, so it can whack hearts out of heartless just not lock keyholes.
I don't think we touched on what Roxas and Namine are now. Namine will forever be an anomoly, but what about Roxas? Is he still considered a nobody?
+ Mickey whereabouts: Need to insert his wanderings 'explanation of absenses' including his wondering to TWTNW to find the heart missing (where he learns how the revivals occurs) and on his hunt for it's location.
//We still haven't been able to have Mickey meet up with wielders. *goes strangle Doogie and the RG peeps* So if we want to kick start that we can re-arrange to get those charries active.
I've already hit up Rook with this to write it up befooore re-discovering this thread so the baaall shall be moving.
Edited to add Roxas and Namine. I remember we mentioned that while Roxas was extracted without his memories, Namine retained hers. I don't remember why, but I know for a fact we figured it out at one point. :/
Anyway, in regards to 'what' Roxas is. I think he'd be the same thing as Namine - whatever that is now. They were Nobody and Nobody anomaly before they merged; however, after being extracted I don't think they would be Nobodies again. KH is what extracted them this time, so they must be something else. We may not have a name for it apart from 'anomaly.'
Edited to add Mickey's wanderings. All I remember from that discussion is him meeting with the DoP, which first introduces him to the fact that KH is in trouble. How does he further investigate, again? I recall him visiting TWTNW, but I'm having difficulties remembering why.
Now, it'd be great to get a move on typing up the version of the site plot that we're presenting to the public. Can we clarify now what exactly is to be mentioned, and what's to be hidden for a later date?
The recent edits should be read over. It's been so long since we've plotted, I probably skewed something.
Post by Ellie who has 0% on Jul 19, 2011 22:47:36 GMT -4
Namine retains hers because her abilities orientates with memories; she would be quite unstable if she was forgetful.
Mickey, he traveled to TWTNW because that's where a recent KH was at. From there he the DoP finds him and drops the weight on him of it leaving, but now where.
This way not the entire main gist of the plot is exploited so quickly.
//Notes:
Also I wouldn't say Namine all of a sudden gain keyblade powers because of being stripped away. It would seem like a 'natural' thing since she is a byproduct of two wielders, so wielding a legit keyblade is plausible for her. Her scenario is similar to Xion, who was based off of Sora, and so by that was able to wield a keyblade, even if it was not genuine.
What should be mentioned for rpers to know + Legitally state that the KH in TWTNW isn't there anymore (I've noticed many characters...claim there is...when there really wouldn't be.) + Heartless ratio is higher and escalating compared to nobodies.
Everything we pretty much constructed...should be learned and revealed IC such as: + How the Org returned and Ansem return? + Where's the KH of TWTNW? + Why are there more Heartless? ---> Why are they 'immortal'?
Those mere questions pretty much unravels the entiiire backdrop of this place. Once it's finally showcased IC, it can be added to the plot summary, yet should be stated that it is a learned information...not shiz people can power-pkay out their arses. I doubt any character can formulate this situation perfectly without any consenses of what's going on. Eeeh pretty much impossible since we just made this stuff up XD. + Where the KH of TWTNW returned?
Okay, perfect. Edited Namine. Quick clarification - after the DoP shows some vague abnormality with the way hearts are flowing, and Mickey goes to TWTNW to investigate, you say that that's where he sees that the old KH is gone? Or the DoP appears again and tells him so? I thought it was the former, but I may be wrong.
And so, now for brainstorm for how the new addition to WD's plot can be formatted. What's everyone's opinion on how this should be done?
-edit-
Shunny had a lovely idea. He proposes that we set up the thread with Mickey and the Door of Possibilities first, and make it a board-wide announcement. At the end of that we put the link to the old site plot thread - which, we would have updated without anyone knowing.
With that two questions remain:
Shall we throw the old plot in some Word doc somewhere, or paste it, quoted, at the bottom of the new one? I say we just archive it in the Staff board, actually.
In regards to discovered information: should it be posted as a response to the site plot, in the site plot thread? Perhaps it would be in 'episode' format, or in 'Mickey's Reports' or something along those lines. Ideas?

- He sees visually that it's gone, and the DoP just fills in the blank of the end of KH2 to the point it left leaving without details where it vanished to.
So yeah it can go about with an IC thread.
We should merely just leave the old plot there, since all were doing is adding things to it. It can use some TLC with revision, editing, and shortened, because the main plot there is...isn't the only central stage since we have an entire new backdrop. Also the plot have it 3 yrs later when main charries are only a yr older.
Plot write up
"Collision of Darkness" (revised original shortened piece) //purpose: state that the enemies are back blah blah blah
"Blank Points" (whichever name for the Prelude) (new information that predates (timeline wise) of the original piece) //purpose: how they came back blah blah blah
"More Hoopla" (KH dilemna) //purpose: overall states the entire status of the KH universe such as Kingdom Hearts not welcoming hearts
For discovered information, it depends on how it's exploited. If it's exploited by Mickey with IC threads, then yeah Mickey's Letters Reports would be appropriate, also he needs his own journal anyways. If it's just a summary of events then it can be a response to the Site Plot.
For example, 'oh shiz KH is locked' and general details of it can be in the site plot, but thorough details of the thread would be in Mickey's stuff.
Dark XII activities are generally detailed in their plot board, but big overal things such as: destroying a world can be pinned in site plot. Just to say Port Royal is gooone for goodz. Also I shall remove that sub-board, and save the thread by moving it...somewhere...Shun advised in out and about.
Ellie and I have spent the past hour or two on MSN debating this point and it's possible/probable issues and complications to the plot...
Roxas.
Initially in our revisions, he was a replica. And that would have solved all of the issues quite nicely. However, people didn't want to play a replica, and so things were made over-complicated. To the point where it began meaning the character was irrelevant and contradictive In-Character, and problematic to site rules Out of Character.
As of the current standing,
...However, after the lockdown Kingdom Hearts needed all the help of the Light that it could get. It re-extracted Roxas and Namine - Namine obtained the powers of a keyblade in this process, as is natural for the biproduct of two keyblade wielders, but Roxas left behind his memories as he withdrew. Namine didn't as her abilities over memory kept hers intact.
Firstly, Namine as a keyblade wielder is... well, personally? I find it to be ridiculous overkill. She has the powers over memories to those tied to the most important character in the entire series. She is not a fighter, she's a support type, aiding from behind the lines. To continue to allow her to have a keyblade due to previous plot and profile oversights while she wield the ability to change memories is a little much, especially given that she has no ability to wield a keyblade at all in canon, and has already been stated to be an oversight here in the site.
On to Roxas.
However, after the lockdown Kingdom Hearts needed all the help of the Light that it could get.
KH is arguably supposed to be a balance of all things, not a tool of the Light realm. Despite "being light!", it exists in the Realm of Darkness, therefore is some form of harmony, unless there is a Dark Kingdom Hearts that exists in the Realm of Light, which is pretty unlikely.
Roxas would have had to have been brought back as a force of balance, both in essence of protecting KH from both sides, and that he is not, nor never has been an agent of the Light Realm. As a Nobody having fought for and against both Light and Dark, he is likely the truest thing to a "neutral" as an established and avaliable Keyblader gets. In this, his role as a protector of KH is sound.
but Roxas left behind his memories as he withdrew.
But now this makes him completely irrelevant yet again. Kingdom Hearts is all power, all knowledge. Sure it was in it's death throes, but this is saying that KH created Roxas once again in order to protect balance, but then left him completely unable to do anything of the sort. So when Xemnas inevitably takes him back in, not only are we ignoring everything Roxas ever accomplished in the video games by making him self his own individual and not Sora's shadow, but we're completely ignoring every reason he was brought back BY OUR OWN LOGIC.
So the only explanation we can have that makes sense without him being a replica (or a facsimile created by Kingdom Hearts), is that KH took him from Sora and made him a Nobody again.
So KH just took it's most fervant protector TWICE OVER and tore a Nobody from him? Also not likely. And even if it were to be the case, Roxas woud most certainly never return to Xemnas and the Organization. He would be an independent agent of his own accord, traveling the twilight and keeping peace, acting as something of a guardian of all roads to Kingdom Hearts itself, which actually sounds like a pretty badass thing to be doing.
IC reasoning aside, Roxas' return also countermands the site's own rules on at least two fronts.
1) It has been long since decided that BbS characters, even those through this stream of existentialist logic, can not be played nor returned given the ambiguity of their fates and time spent in between BbS thru KH3. Roxas should be the same on account of the effects of his return on another character (Sora, the MAIN character of Kingdom Hearts) is unknown and therefore just as ambiguous. The reasons for bringing him back as an agent of KH and a wielder applies to himself and Namine (not a wielder). What is there to state that KH did not bring back any of the other Keyblade wielders, when surely Ven and Terra shared comparable fates? Nothing makes the distinction.
2) It has been long since decided that canonically ENDED characters cannot be played or returned given the stated, expressed, and canonical fate, such as Ansem the Wise. Granted, he was later revealed in the BbS secret episode to be alive but in the Realm of Darkness, when the ruling was handed down, he was dead as hell. His fate was clear. So is Roxas'. He was made part of Sora once again, and that was that.
~
In summary, Roxas continues to be a plothole, and problematic both ICwise and out. Allowing him to be a simple replica (though perhaps thoroughly created) fixes all of these problems. He can be a wielder. He can be an Organization member, and he can still be relevant all without the overcomplication of his return and double-standards with the rules.
If not for his unique and useful nature to the Organization, I would motion for all of the aforementioned points and the unwillingness for anyone to want to RP as him outside of the staff as grounds for making him as off-limits as Ven, Terra and the others.
Namine's issue was resolved. Here was a quote from the chat on that matter:
Ideally, Namine shouldn't have a keyblade - but she does, due to a past mistake. However, it is a 'false' keyblade similar to Xion's, and its only ability is to release the Hearts of Heartless.
Bolded are Rook's questions regarding the Roxas issue. Not bolded are answers that were formulated, a bit after that original plotting chat broke up.
1) KH brings him back. Why? We established it was to protect KH. Why do this without telling him?
1) If it was going to tell Roxas, then why not just go ahead and tell Mickey, get it over with? Mickey has connections to a lot more than Roxas, he has power. This route is just an alternate plot that would be faster, and less realistic.
2) He then loses his memory of this and sides against KH. Why? Because it happened with him before, and despite being completely against why he's brought back, he's doing it again.
2) He doesn't side - he can't, without knowing anything that's going on. He's taken by the Organization and doesn't know any better. Once he regains memories, he can take a side - and chooses the Light.
3) How would he slowly regain them? Through being further lied to and manipulated by the Organization? How would he know it wasn't just more lies and manipulation?
3) Perhaps facing similar situations to the ones he previously faced in the past would bring flashbacks. (Or flashbacks of flashbacks.) And he can put the pieces together. Memory wiped or not, Roxas was never a docile one. It would also depend on how Shunny plays him.
4) Say he does get this far and sides against the Organization, the Organization is now without a Keyblade wielder, and thus has absolutely nothing to do in relation to gaining access to Kingdom Hearts.
4) No keyblader is necessary. The Organization's goal is to have KH -open-, and then they can seize it. They can let the Light open it for them, while they can confront Dark XII who try to keep it closed.
5) if he is brought back to keep balance, why would he side with the realm of Light?
5) In siding with the Light, he'll be keeping balance. Because the Dark has too much 'power', say, right now. Those seeking balance usually side with the party that's losing. Right now, Heartless are -immortal-.
In addition, an idea was brought about regarding some of the information Roxas could gain while being part of the Organization:
Say he's around when they finally managed to defeat a Dark XII member. Later, upon perhaps meeting the same member again, the Organization would have been alerted to the odd phenomenon of Heartless reappearing after having their Heart released - before any other organizations or groups.
Roxas would then have this knowledge. And if/when his loyalties change, he'd have this important part of the puzzle to share with the Light.

*cracks whip* let's get a move on, since the vast majority didn't find problems with the plot reconstruction in regards to Roxas; so in all fairness, we are moving on. Any problems send a pm or post in the staff board, I perfer we stop halting at every cosine and cotangent that comes to mind, which will bring up 3 steps forward, but 5 steps back.
PLOT WRITE UP: //I know you were going to do it Zepho, but this just a spearhead push to get the ball rolling agaaain. I had it all formated, buuut that gets lost when copy and paste//
Blank Point- 1
“Fallen ones will rise”...Before one can rise, one must fall…
The Descent;; The Castle That Never Was became exactly that after the fall of Xemnas; it had crumbled to the ground destroyed, but it wasn’t the only thing to crumble. In the black sky, a Kingdom Hearts was born from harvested hearts freed by the keyblades; it floated damage and meekly as clouds of debris wavered throughout the world after being penetrated by Ansem the Wise machinery and invaded by Xemnas during the end of his reign.
One night there was a shift in the atmosphere. Darkness became more numerous as more heartless appeared than being vanquished to the point of out numbering their sly secretive pale counterparts, the nobodies. Darkness had fallen on the worlds, and the Organization’s Kingdom Hearts was gone.
“The members of the once feared Organization XIII have reappeared... But how?” There is so very much to learn. You understand so little. One who knows nothing can understand nothing
“ Not even the most prestige researcher could answer that question…” The worlds gave us this doorway, they want us to be the guardians of their destinies.
Mickey Letter 1 <the following content is new and have yet to be discussed as a whole, but have been fabricated with another. It’s to solve the plot bump of “why Mickey removed the Cornerstone of Light from Disney Castle”>
By the time you get this, I’m already gone. I knew something was wrong, but I couldn’t tell how; it was just a strange nagging feeling.
Last night I felt it and saw it in the courtyard, darkness was coming. Many stars faded out, so I fear the worlds may be in danger again. Darkness had covered our world like a cloud, but then a bright blinding light emitting from the castle moved outward. The world was safe yet again…but with a price.
This morning I visited the cornerstone only to find it a bit dimmer than before. The stone was fading, and it wasn’t from visiting Timeless River. I tried casting Holy on it, but it didn’t help one bit.
I know the stone isn’t in its tip top shape, and if I do nothing, it’s going to blow out. With the darkness gone and you guys here, I knew the world can buy some time on its own. I’m taking the Cornerstone to Master Yen Sid to see if he has a solution. Minnie and Daisy do what you two do best and tend to the kingdom, and Donald and Goofy keep your eyes posted, I have a strange feeling something’s just not right.
Sincerely Mickey
<From there, Mickey visits Yen Sid to see how can he repair the Cornerstone only to be told he needed a mass of light to fix it; Kingdom Hearts was a solution, but the last one he saw was in The World That Never Was. This starts his journey there only to find it…gone and a door to give him ‘some’ answers>
Blank Point 2- <the following information needs to be revealed properly. I think we concluded on an IC thread before the general info is added to the main plot.>
The Emergence;;
You're wrong. I know now, without a doubt. Kingdom Hearts... is LIGHT! Fallen ones will rise... Unknown ones will surface... Don't worry. There will always be a door to the light.
As The World that Never Was laid in the chaotic resolution between the keyblade wielders and the world’s offender, Kingdom Hearts was surging. Multiple times it had been openly attacked without any forms of defense; even with the aid of the protector of light, the large heart was weakened and damaged.
With a wave of its power, it glimmered with a beacon; hearts were sent loose into the dark abyss of the worlds. Heartless sprouted back to life including a heartless that many would wish to remain gone, Ansem. With the birth of Ansem, Xemnas was reborn as well. As Kingdom Hearts released its energy, it wavered through the Realm of Darkness bringing the fallen Nobodies, who faded in darkness, back to reality. Neither revivals were intentional, but merely a reaction to a previous action.
Despite their second chances, the Organization knew little of their new circumstances as Kingdom Hearts in The World That Never Was formed a lock and vanished from sight or the fueling uprising of a band of darkness, the Dark XII.
Darkness conquers all worlds! The dark world will divide and an eternal war in the darkness shall lead to worlds' destruction... Sorta makes ya wonder why we are scared of the dark... It's because of who's lurking inside it.
Blank Point- 3
The Outcome;;
An innocent life will be restored.. The Collision of Darkness
The damaged Kingdom Hearts left the forsaken world in search for a new sanctuary; it needed to prolonged, live, exist, and be guarded. It traveled all the way to the Door to Darkness where the mother load of hearts dwelled, Kingdom Hearts. Crippled and locked, one Kingdom Hearts was welcomed into the other synchronizing in unison; from becoming whole with one another, the produce accessed the same defense. Kingdom Hearts was locked; no one would be able to harm or enter it…including stray hearts ready to rest in peace.
The worlds’ destinies were set to plummet in darkness. No purified hearts can be safe away from the darkness without a sanctuary to soar to. They are left to be picked off within the turmoil of dense darkness. For a way out, the worlds needed more protection at the hands of the keyblades; keyblades choose their masters and are selective, yet times are too desperate to wait from ‘the right ones’ to emerge and be chosen. Kingdom Hearts had relinquished Sora and Kairi of their shades, their nobodies, Roxas and Namine; being apart of keyblade wielders, they were both enabled to wield them.
Namine, an anomaly and witch, who was associated heavily with Sora’s memories, had emerged once again with memory intact, but Roxas, who was once whole and ripped from unity, was brought back successfully with one flaw, his lack of memories. Although he was brought back with the intent grand design to defend the worlds, his faulty left him vulnerable to be captivated by the Organization once again.
What would become of the world now that darkness falls?
Apologies, I'm formally back from my impromptu vacation. Motherboard on my laptop went east and I was out of action for a couple weeks.
I'll be moving forward with the DarkXII missions within the next couple of days. Do I have permission to begin their threads, or would you prefer they be started by the Staffer overseeing their events?
Also, would it be alright if I made some minor edits to the Site Plot synopsis? There are a lot of spelling/grammar and past/present tense errors with it. >_>

D-o-u-b-l-e postiiiiiiiiing posting e-l-b-u-o-d.
Alright Roxas warg...wargs.
So more plot vomit in regards to Roxas, since somehow it miraculous became a hot topic of 'it needs to be fixed', and seeing how we don't have one yet might as well.
soooooo idea vomits of Roxas' status
Roxas1 - The Naive Roxas This Roxas doll doesn't remember diddily squat about...anything really. Pros: ....uuuh....he's with the org... Cons: ...he's a vegetable...again...and pretty much reverse his character growth to 0
Roxas2 - Uuuuh NaiveRoxas++++ This Roxas doll remembers events of the Days game excluding Xion. With this heeee remembers, the org members, how he feels towards them etc, but everything gets fuzzy towards when Riku K.O.d his butt and chucked into Virtual Twilight TOwn
Difference from Roxas 1: hardly any Pros: with the org Cons: ...he's unaware yet again.
Roxas3 - The Conscious Roxas This Roxas doll remembers everything and was aware of Sora's endeavor during KHII once merging with him. Can he knows Sora shiz during KH1 ...*shruggles* he could...he was able to identify Kairi in KH2, soo cha.
Pros: + He can still be with the org for different reasoning. I can easily think of reasons why, but if this is a go...I perfer those who audition for Roxas (if we're even having that) to figure out 'what would roxas do' by an inspired rp sample based off of his current 'status' (similar to Linty's 2 cent for the new profile endeavor)
With that the new Roxas can be choosen with who really embodies Roxas, who's still trascending versus being constant.
+ His character growth during the canon games won't be eradicated; instead he would pretty much start 'mentally' where he ended.
Here's the biggest thing with both bringing back Roxas, and anyone PLAYING Roxas: Neither can be content with staying in the box. Both aspects will have to be ready to take the same character they know, and think in a realistic, character-according manner about what his future would truly be.
With Ansem, I tried to fill in the blanks to his resurrection by using in-game events. Except for it not being in a succeeding game, it could very reasonably be considered a possible canon route.
For Roxas being brought back to life by Kingdom Hearts for a goal is a very plausible concept. Kingdom Hearts is a lot like a "god" entity in the KH universe: It doesn't spell everything out for everyone, but it is still an active force that has it's own, albeit basic, agendas. It's possible/probable that being locked away would disable it from being able to tell King Mickey about the looming threat (as argued above), but it could easy recreate Roxas in some manner, as we've discussed. But we need to keep in mind certain things that happen in it's wake:
A) The state of Sora.
B) The fact that he would very possibly remember ALL of that which happened over his ENTIRE LIFE as a Nobody, including Xion, which means that...
C) He wouldn't return to the Organization. It's all the more likely that he would attempt, at least once, to resume his crusade AGAINST them.
That said, the possibilities for him WITHOUT the Organization are much greater than being a mere lackey within their ranks. It would also mean that the XIII would need to become much more liberal with their own actions, and find someone who can perform his job should Roxas be unwilling to return to them.
WHICH MEANS
More plotting and more things for the Organization to do, instead of having their answer handed to them as a dumb, slobbering repeat of history, not unlike how the Dark XII are reaching outside their usual bag of tricks and gathering masses and members before attacks.
A group of bad guys is bad. A group of bad guys who thinks, plans, and acts with precision and menace is FRIGHTENING. What better way to make Xemnas a greater enemy than to take away his get-out-of-jail-free wielder and make him get more creative?
