Name: Haruka Aiso
Nickname:
Haruki (By her closest friends)
M (This name was what Haruka came up with when she couldn’t remember what her real name was)
Age:
Physical age: 17
Age she appears: 15
Gender: Female
Species:Human
Position:
Good (Hasn’t come into much contact with the Organization XIII members or the Dark XII Members, so she really doesn’t despise them or anything.)
Powers:
Cure- Haruka can cure herself or a friend of a quarter of damage taken. This spell takes one post to use.
Cura- Haruka can cure herself or a friend of a half of the damage taken. This spell takes one post to use.
-Cure and Cura cannot revive a fallen (killed) character.
Blizzard- Haruka conjures up a small snow storm that blasts the enemy, causing low damage but knocking the enemy back so she can prepare another attack. This attack lasts one post.
Blizzara- Haruka conjures up a medium sized blizzard that hits the enemy with small ice crystals and hail, causing
medium damage. This attack lasts two posts and requires one post to recharge.
-Blizzard and Blizzara require Haruka to stand in place. If she has to doge an attack from an enemy, then
Blizzard/Blizzara is canceled. She cannot defend herself when using these attacks.
Aero- This barrier can only be created when Haruka’s fear and adrenalin reach their peak. She must be truly terrified
or angry for this spell to work. Haruka creates a small bubble of energy around herself that lessens damage. This barrier lasts two posts and requires 2 posts to recharge.
-Aero cannot be conjured unless Haruka is extremely terrified. This requires her to have been attacked multiple times
by multiple enemies, and the opponent would probably someone with (compared to Haruka) incredible attack power or magic skills. This barrier will not protect from major heartless or Nobodies for more than one post. This Barrier can only be used twice in one battle.
Ice Burial-Haruka cause large ice crystals to grow from the ground at an alarming rate, ensnaring her opponent and
freezing them in place for two posts. These crystals also cause the opponent to take minimal damage when they attack for three posts. This Attack requires 4 posts to recharge, starting after the ice disappears from the battle field.
Limit Break:
Ice Phoenix- With the same principle as Aero, Haruka needs to be incredibly upset to use this move.
Haruka’s emotional limit is reached when a comrade in battle is about to fall, and an incredible explosion of ice crystals burst from any surrounding surface, spearing and freezing any attacker where they stand. This attack causes damage to the opponent when they move, as with Ice Burial, but it only lasts two posts instead of three.
-Ice Burial and Ice Phoenix require Haruka to stand in place. She takes extra damage from melee attacks when using
these moves.
-Ice Phoenix drains Haruka’s MP to zero. She can no longer use spells unless she uses an elixir.
Once Haruka's MP reaches 0, it takes 5 posts to recharge MP. She can cast 7 spells consecutively before her MP reaches 0.
Haruka has the ability to animate the sketches in her sketch book. These drawings are usually clothes or inanimate objects, but she can alos draw creatures and bring the image to life. However, Haruka mostly uses this ability to create the clothes in her wardrobe. When she is done drawing the clothing, the item appears in the area she is in by “sketching” itself out of the air, then becoming solid.
NOTE: Haruka cannot spontaneously create things out of nothing. The materials required to make the clothes are warped into another space and put together there, then warped to Haruka. The same principle goes for food. The food is warped from its original location to Haruka. Animated sketches of animals last for certain periods of time before they return to the sketch book. One picture can only be animed once per battle. Once their alloted time is up, they cannot be resummoned. (10 posts for small creatures, 7 posts for medium creatures, like dogs, 5 posts for large creatures, or until Haruka ends the summoning.) Her main sketches for battles are: wolves, snakes, dragons (about the size of Great Danes), gryphons, and panthers.
Wolves: Summon time- 7 posts
-Going for the Kill: Lunge at opponent with teeth and claws. Causes medium damage.
Snakes: Summon time-10 posts
-Constrict: Wrap around opponent, slowing movement
-Venemous Bite: Causes minimal gradual damage for 3 posts
Dragons: Summon time-5 posts
-Fire Breath: Causes High Damage, Takes one post to recharge
-Bite: Causes Small Damage
-Claws of Rage: Causes Small Damage
Unicorn: Summon time-5 posts
-Healing Light: Heals Medium Damage
-Horn attack: Causes small damage, blows opponent back
Gryphon: Summon time-5 posts
-Attacks with beak and claws causes Medium damage
-Transportation
-Decible Breaker: Screeches at a High pitch, disorienting opponent. Requires one post to recharge
Panthers :Summon Time-5 posts

Appearance:
Haruka is small for a 17 year old girl, and she looks younger than most girls her age. She is about 5’-3”, with light almost pastel blue hair. Her eyes are a bright violet. Her hair is kept in a Chinese hair style put up with half her hair up in a bun tied with a braid. The rest of her hair is down going to her hips. She has bangs that are not tied back with the rest of her hair on her forehead, and framing her face are two longer bangs going down to her ear lobes. She sometimes puts her hair down completely or puts it into a long braid when she wants a change of pace. She occasionally wears a blue ribbon with the braid to tie her bun, and she puts a blue flower in the ribbon when she wears her blue formal kimono or dress. She makes her own outfits based on what she sees, so she has an extensive wardrobe.
Her everyday outfit is a sleeveless zip up vest with black embroidery around her lower rib cage. The zipper is like the organization XIII coats in the fact that at about her belly button the zipper is unzipped to the bottom of the jacket. The vest is a light aquamarine color, and the lining of it is white. She has gold arm bands with long billowing sleeves attached. The sleeves are a sheer, light blue fabric. Her skirt goes to about 3” above her knees. It is dark blue with a zipper going from the left side of the skirt down to the bottom, where it stops and continues open as the hem of the skirt. On the right side of her skirts going around in a satchel like fashion is a white strap with other shorter white straps buckled to it. This is sewn onto the skirt. Sewn next to the left side of the zipper is a gold chain that mimics the chains on the organization XIII coats, but is longer in length and has more beads on it. There is another gold chain sewn to the top of the right side of the zipper that hangs around her hip. She wears dark blue knee socks and her shoes are heels with a wide mouth top and a V shaped band going around the ankle. Her shoes are the same color as her skirt and the bands are gold.
The kimono Haruka wears for special occasions is a very light blue with two bluish-gray cranes painted on the front, including some cattails and river reeds. The sleeve openings have dark blue bands around them, as does the bottom of the kimono and the opening down the front. The waste wrap is a dark ocean blue. She wears blue silk slippers with the kimono. This outfit is where Haruka usually adds a flower to her hair ribbon.
Haruka also possesses a light blue summer dress that she wears for gardening or when she goes on outings with her friends. The dress is sleeveless with delicate embroidery in bands going down the entire dress. The hem is scalloped, and the shoes she wears with it are light blue clogs.
When she goes out she usually wears a light blue messenger bag which she keeps a sketchbook, pencils, and a snack, plus her elixirs and potions.
Personality:
Haruka is considered to be “a bright, caring girl who worries about her friends when they go and adventure, but is incredibly shy with people she does not know.” Haruka is shy to the point that when she encounters new people, she can’t talk to them for a long period of time. The time differs depending on the character’s personality. Sometimes she won’t be able to speak to someone until she gets to know them better. But once she gets to know them, Haruka is very willing to say a few words. She is naturally quiet, so even to her friends she doesn’t always say much. She has a habit of blushing uncontrollably in practically any social situation. Just mentioning her name in a conversation will cause her face to turn beet red. Haruka is terrified of the dark, so when she first met a heartless, she was so terrified she was paralyzed, and it took her a week to recover from the experience. Haruka is very fond of children and most children bond to her very quickly, so she is often asked to babysit for parents or older siblings who are too busy to watch the children themselves. Being good with young children has also given Haruka a talent with animals. She loves anything cute, fuzzy, small, or any sort of creature that needs her aid. Liking cute things has given Haruka an immense love of candy, which can cause Haruka to act more outgoing and boisterous in front of people if she eats too much. These times are always followed by a swift withdrawal from her friends and anyone else out of embarrassment. Haruka likes to draw, and after years of practice, she has become an avid artist, always drawing her friends and other people she finds interesting. She especially like drawing Nobodies due to their many different forms and the fact that they, unlike heartless, they do not denote dark trait such as being black and having glowing eyes.
When caught in a situation that could bring danger to herself or those around her, Haruka usually decides to run, taking any other persons with her. Haruka’s good sense of direction usually helps her escape danger without causing injury to others or herself. Haruka is easily frightened by domineering people, monsters, or anything bigger than her, so she does a lot of running or hiding behind objects or people. If caught in a situation when running is not an option, Haruka will face the opponent bravely, but their will usually always be a hint of fear in her eyes. However, if faced with a person who is bullying others, she will stand up for the victim and usually leave the bully speechless when she rebukes them. But when a person is bullying her and she is by herself, Haruka will usually take what the person says to heart for a time. Her friends always help her out of her funk and confront the bully, so she usually isn’t unhappy for long. If the bullying doesn’t stop, however, Haruka will get so fed up with the antagonist and will usually do something that is publically embarrassing to the bully, making sure they never bother her again. Since Haruka has a likable personality, though, she usually isn’t bullied considering most of the people she is around aren’t easily bothered by her.
Haruka does not appear to be a physically strong girl. This physical trait causes her to be faster than most people, but she cannot do heavy lifting her any sort of hard labor by herself. She is physically more suited to cooking, cleaning, and other common household chores. Haruka is a talented cook, and she can make almost anything taste good. Haruka also has advanced medical skills, so many people come to her to be treated when injured at work or in a fight, and she will pretty much treat anyone, regardless of who or what they may be. She tends to use this skill more on animals than people, however. She also has a talent for playing the piano, and avidly practices. Being that Haruka isn’t very strong makes her vulnerable to physical attacks, which is one of the reason she does not like fighting. She can also become very weak due to a poor immune system. If she gets sick, her body temperature drops dramatically, and she feels ice cold to the touch. In this state she can hardly stand and needs an increased amount of warmth for long periods of time before she can recover. But the fact that she is a practiced apothecary helps her to make things that boost her immune system, so she doesn’t get sick as often as one may think.
Haruka is good at keeping secrets because she isn’t very talkative, and she has a few secrets of her own. The necklace the wears around her neck, for example, was given to her by a boy she knew a long time ago, and she always wears it under her clothes. She doesn’t like people to see it because they always ask her where she got it, and she feels guilty due to the fact that she cannot remember the face of the boy who gave it to her. So she always keeps it hidden and has never told anyone about it. She holds the capability to wield a keyblade, but her lack of confidence in herself and her lack of melee attacks have inhibited her from doing so. It is unknown if she will ever be able to wield a keyblade, and it may only become possible when certain requirements are met.
Original World: Radiant Garden
Current World: Radiant Garden
History:
Haruka’s birth was a normal, honest-to-goodness birth. No special rituals, no glowing skin, no special trait about her. Well, except for her odd hair and eye color, that is. But, for her family, those things are pretty normal. Both Haruka’s mother and grandmother had the same traits, so it wasn’t much of a surprise. Haruka’s up-bringing was standard, except she had no parents, and not much is known about them. Haruka never knew her father, and her mother died suddenly of a sickness when Haruka was about 2 years old. She was raised by her grandparents. Having not known her parents very well, Haruka was only a little sad when she thought about them. The only lasting memory she had of her mother was the lullaby she sang to her as a baby. Haruka sometimes sings that lullaby to herself when she is sad or lonely.
As Haruka grew she showed a talent for art and never hesitated to draw on anything she could-the walls, the table, the windows, etc. Her grandparents finally convinced her to draw on paper instead of the house, and the refrigerator was soon covered in paper.
At about age 4, her grandfather, a leather crafter, made Haruka the sketch book she now carries today. She carried it everywhere as a child and it became her most prized possesion.
When Haruka was about 5 years old, a strange phenomenon occured in Radiant Garden. There seemed to be a strange glow comeing from the grounds near the castle, and it pulsed with life. Many of the people were frightened by this event, and stayed away from the castle area until the pulsing dissapeared. But Haruka was intrigued by the light, and visited the grounds often when it was dark, when the light was most visible.
It occured to Haruka that the light was coming from something under the castle, and to get to the source, she would have to sneak inside. Haruka went to the castle, and snuck in through a window that was not being guarded. Haurka then proceeded to explore the castle, looking for anything that could be radiating the glow. Finally, Haruka stumbled upon a door. The light was more intense here than anywhere else. Cautiously, she approached the door. she felt drawn to whatever was on the other side. Grasping the handle, she pushed the door open, and stepped inside. There, on the other side of the door, was a large, glowing object. It was warm, welcoming, and happy. This was the Heart of Radiant Garden. Haruka, howver, did not realize this, and began to wlak towards it. Close enough to tocuh it, little Haruka reached out her hand. He finger barely burching against its surface, the Heart of the world unleashed a large glow, enveloping Haruka while spreading throughout the room. Outside, the plusing glow grew brighter until it was almost blinding. Then, in an instant, it was gone. The light was no longer seen ouside of the castle, and the strange phenomenon ended.
After this event, Haruka woke up inside her room. Haruka was not aware that the direct exposure to the Heart of The World had caused a subtle change in her. Haruka recieved a hightened awareness of the feelings of others, and would often stare at people's faces, almost looking directly into them. She would also feel a subtle discomfort when someone would lie to her. Haruka had develpoed a strange knack for knowing what one was plannign on doing. She could not see into the future, but she could read people like a book, and knew how they would react in any situation, weither she had know them for a long time or only for a few minutes. But the stragest part of all was that people began to see strange things following Haruka around. At first, Haruka's grandparents didn't know what they were, they were so simple and intagiblee that they seemed to be nothing more than wisps of air. It was not until Haruka showed her grandparents her newest sketches that thay realised what the strange shapes were. The things following Haruka were the simplest outlines of her drawings, and the more Haruka drew, the more detailed the images became, until one day, after drawing a dog in her sketch book, that same dog was seen following Haruka around town, playing ball with her and acting as her companion. No one had seen that dog in town before, and no one knew how it could have possibly gotten there. The next day, the dog was gone, and when asked about it, Haruka replied, "He went back to his page. He got tired and couldn't play anymore." Only her grandparents knew what this meant, and they told Haruka not to use her powers in public, as they might scare the towns people. So Haruka developed her power in secret, and made sure no one ever saw her creations.
Haruka had many friends as a child and was seen as a
“goody-two-shoes” kind of person, but this wasn't entirely true. Due to her small size, she was able to occasionally sneak into the castle at Radiant Garden without alerting the guards. It was in this way that Haruka first came into contact with the heartless, where she became completely paralyzed with fear at the site of one being examined in the castle lab. One of the professors in the lab let the heartless loose, and it alsmot alerted the lab assistant to Haruka's presence. But the heartless's antenae seemed to eb reacting to something else, so it let Haruka alone. Haruka's curiosity got the better of her, and, even though seh was scared, she decided to follow the proffesor and the heartless. When the heartless went through a doorway in the castle, the building began to oan and shake, as if an earthquake was going on. Haruka was so terrified, she couldn't move. She didn't leave the castle until the heartless that was being observed was taken back to where they were being kept in the castle. Haruka did not re-enter the castle for a very long time after that .
Haruka never did anything mean to anyone, and usually tried to comfort people who seemed distressed or lonely. Because of her good nature, Haruka had a good relationship with not only her friends, but adults as well. Everything in Haruka’s life seemed perfect, until disaster struck 3 days after her 6th birthday. The day that Radiant Garden’s heart was first stolen, chaos ensued. People were running around frantically, trying desperately to escape the strange black creatures that were quickly invading the world. Haruka searched desperately for her grandparents, but they were nowhere to be found. As the world was falling apart, huge fissures opened in the ground, revealing the Heart of the World. Haruka fell down one of these cracks, and thought she was about to die. As she fell, she hit the back of her head and fainted.
When Haruka woke up, she was lying in a snow covered field in the middle of a park, with no memory of Radiant Garden or what had just transpired. She was found shivering in the cold by a local shop owner, who took Haruka into his home with his wife. Their names were Jesse Tindermon and Julia Tindermon. They asked Haruka her name, but she couldn’t remember what it was. So she lied and said her name was M. The Tindermons mistook this for “Emm” instead of “M”, and accidentally put this on her school registration when she was enrolled in the locale school. From then on, “M Tindermon” lived almost the same life she had previously, acting the same way she always had towards others, but having no recollection of her past life. She still drew in her sketch book, but the pictures did not come to life becasue "M" did not remeber she had this ability. Instead, a new power began to develope. Back in Radiant Garden, when "M" fell down the crack, she was exsposed to the high energy levels of the Heart of the World. This second exposure the the light ( which was what had given Haruka the ability to animate pictures her childhood), coupled with the cold weather of this new world, gave "M" the ability to control ice. It is safe to say that if she had arrived in the town on a day with different weather, her powers may have been different. "M" was now 15 years old.
Start of KH1
"M" first discovered this new ability with ice when she was walking home from school. She saw a couple of school boys bullying another student from across the street. They were messing with the smaller childs back pack, and were teasing the boy about his size. After a scuffle, the boy got his backpack away from the bullies and ran, with the older boys close behind. "M" wanted to help the smaller boy escape, and began to follow the group, focusing all her thoughts on stopping the bullies. Suddenly one of the older boys cried out, and fell, followed by the rest of the pack. The entire sidewalk under their feet was suddenly covered with a thick sheet of ice that had not been there previously. By the time the bullies had gotten back to their feet, the younger boy was gone, and so was "M". She decided to keep this a secret do she wouln't be labled a freak, for no one in this world had any special abilities. Several months passed, and spring came along, and with it, the discovery of a new ability. "M" had the power to heal things. At first she only used this to help plants that were dying, so as not to appear conspicuous. As "M" developed this power, she began to use it on small animals in the forest, where no one would discover her secret. She became so good at using this ability, that when the neighbor's daughter fell off her bike and hit her head because she wasn't wearing a helmet, "M" was able to heal the girl without anyone noticing, preventing the girl from recieving a concussion and keeping "M's" secret safe. "M" enjoyed hepling others in this new world, and it brough her great joy to make others well without exposing herself, considering she was still very shy and did not desire all the attention. Still, “M” always felt that something was wrong, that her name wasn’t actually "M", and that she was forgetting some very important people. This went on until “M” turned 16.
Start of KH2
Then, history seemed to repeat itself. Heartless suddenly began to invade “M’s” world, and she began having flashbacks of her time in Radiant Garden. She remembered her real name, and knew what was happening to this world. But before she could warn anyone, it was too late. Now Haruka Aiso once again, she could only watch as her foster parents were captured by heartless and destroyed, while others ran frantically, trying to escape. Suddenly, Haruka began to fall. She realized she was falling down into a deep hole in the ground, just like at Radiant Garden. Only this time, Haruka stayed awake, and fell into the Heart of the World. Inside the world’s heart, Haruka felt the world’s pain as it was torn into oblivion. Haruka’s nature had always been to help those in need, no matter what. So she said to the heart, “How can I help you? What is it that I can do?” There were no words spoken to her, but Haruka somehow knew what the heart wanted. It seemed to be saying, “Help the people of this world.” She promised that she would try her hardest to help restore the world and bring its people home safely. Then the Heart, with the last of its energy, teleported her to the newly restored Radiant Garden. As she was being lifted away, Haruka cried for all the people she had lost to the heartless, but she cried for the heartless too, knowing that they were once people who had been taken by darkness. When Haruka returned to Radiant Garden she told the new citizens her story. They welcomed her with open arms into their lives, and helped her settle into a new life. But Haruka’s sadness would not leave her, thinking that the people of her foster world were all gone. It has been a year since then, and Haruka now lives in Radiant Garden, helping the people there by serving as the town healer while she dreams of going to other worlds with the hope of maybe finding some of her friends from her foster world.
Role Playing Sample:
Today was promising to be a good day. The sun was out (like it always was), there were just the right amount of clouds in the sky (like there always were), and there was a pleasant breeze. Just like there always was. All in all, a day in Radiant Garden was just like any other. Literally. But for Haruka, this was just the way she liked it. The consistency of the weather left more room to plan her day instead of planning for bad weather.
Haruka got out of bed and put on her sundress and clogs, fully prepared for a day of gardening, picking herbs, and making medicines. Her supply of potions for the towns people was getting low, and there was almost always a constant need for them. She sighed, wondering how people could possibly get hurt so much on a world like this. But she wouldn't judge. Whatever some of those men did to have to visit her home/ clinic so much wasn't any of her business.
After a light breakfast of some of her home grown strawberries and cereal, she went out back and proceeded to survey the garden for weeds. Fortunately, due to Haruka’s vigilance, there were none to be found. Since there were no weeds, this cut her gardening time in half, and she proceeded to get a basket to put the green herbs for potions in.
After gathering a significant amount of the green plants, Haruka went inside her home and began to prepare the herbs to be made into the potions. She hung them on a small line above a tiny fire that would dry the leaves so they could be made into a powder. She put a small amount of lavender powder on a piece of paper that, when the leaves were dry enough, would send smoke up through the chimney so Haruka could get home in time before the leaves burned. Satisfied, she left the fire to its work and went into town. People waved as she past, and she waved back as she headed to the shops to see if they had any new books for her to read or art supplies.
Reaching her favorite shop, the owner looked up and beamed, saying, "Haruka! Great timing! I just got in a new set of books that I'm sure you're gonna love!"
Haruka was a regular customer here at the book store, so the shop owner was always on guard for new shipments of books, knowing Haruka would be in to buy at least half of the new selection. A spark of excitement lit in Haruka's eyes. What could the new books be about?
"I can't wait to see the the new stories you got!" Haruka stated with a smile.
The shop owner beckoned her to the back of ther shop, where she gasped at the books, brand new with their pages still crisp and their covers completely void of dust. Haruka picked out 5 of the books, and the shop owner eagerly rang them up for her. After thanking the shop owner, Haruka set off for home. Now that she had so many new books to read, her afternoon was completely filled up. She doubted she would even finish the first 2 before tomorrow morning.
Looking homeward with anticipation, she watched a small line of smoke coming from the house chimney, letting her know that the leaves were nearly done. Haruka smiled with satisfaction. Yes, today was promising to be a good day.
Questions/Comments/Suggestions?
As Haruka progresses, can she gain higher abilities/powers? (Ex. She now has Cura. Can she learn Curaga later on?)
The lullaby Haruka’s mother sang to her is Yuzuki (You or Dear You. People call it different things) by Dai from Higurashi. Here is a link if you want to listen. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FKGwkj0YFw
