In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Shira laid peacefully in her room on the bed as she looked up at the ceiling. Things had been awfully bizarre for the dark persona, especially yesterday. At that time Deathblade decided life wasn't worth living, and tried to kill himself. And who else but the cold-hearted Shira had to go out and try to change his mind. Yes, the whole situation was difinetly weird...especially when the girl started to become sympathetic towards the man. What was with that anyway? If Shira didn't know any better she'd say she actually cared about Deathblade for a minute. But that couldn't be it. But then, why did she feel so relieved when he changed his mind? The dark persona didn't understand at all. Perhaps there was a little bit of V's conscious still stuck within her. Probably...
Either way, Shira was glad everything was back to normal. Well...maybe not everything. Before Deathblade had become one with Saxen, he had announced his name was now Alexandros. But that wasn't really so much of a big deal. Now Shira had to worry about herself again. She closed her eye's and sighed, as she thought about the new body she now resided in. 'Bothersome...' she thought, as she opened her eye's again. She did appreciate having her own body she really did, but for some reason she felt...weak. Which was weird cause, she still had a great amount of strength and speed, but it wasn't at the level she was suppose to be on.
She let out another sigh, perhaps she needed to do a bit of training. She got up from the bed, and trying to stabilize her her new feet firmly on the ground began to walk out of the room. However, before she did she notice a piece of paper on the desk near her bedside. 'What's that?' she wondered. She went to the desk, and grabbing the folded paper read what it said on the front of it which was her name "Shira." 'huh...I don't remember seeing this before...' the dark persona thought, looking at what only could be presumed as a note. "Well might as well read it, afterall...it is addressed to me." she said, and with that she unfolded the the paper curious to read what it said inside.
Shira,
I know that neither of us are much for romance, so I don’t intend to pretend. Nor am I one to beat around the bush, so I will get straight to the point. I love you. Now, I don’t want you to misunderstand me or my intentions. I do not want to be just another couple like V and Shiro. I want to be something more meaningful. I want to do whatever I can for you. I don’t care if want anything in return. I just want to be here if you need me.
Every word meant from, Alexandros Shinoha
Shira couldn't believe her eye's, surely she was misreading what the note said completely! She put the note back on the desk, and grabbing her scythe went outside the apartment. Training sounded like a really good idea at that point, she went to one of the gardens, and practicing some of her techniques tried to calm her heart which was now beating rapidly. 'Love?' The dark persona thought, remembering what the letter said. No...surely Alexandros didn't mean it. He couldn't have! She spun around doing a quick spin combo, then without thinking, she tried to do her famous flash step which of course ended badly. She tripped over her own feet, and falling landed roughly on the ground. "damn it..." she whispered angrily. She punched the ground hard with her fist, leaving a big dent in the earths soil.
She then got up, and continuing her training tried to stray her mind away from what the letter had said. Surely it was all some kind of joke.
Alexandros just caught sight of Shira as she was leaving. Something seemed . . . off . . . with her, like something was bothering her. He stuffed a bit of food into his mouth and took off after her. Please tell me this isn't because of my note. If she's upset about that . . . I'm gonna really regret this . . . He stopped for a second to calm himself down. It doesn't matter,[/i] he told himself. I'll just have to make sure everything's okay. He started running after her again and just barely saw her fall. He wanted to push that much harder to get there and catch her, but he couldn't. He stopped when he saw her punch the ground. Whatever was bothering her was REALLY getting at her. He took a deep breath and walked slowly over to her. "Hey, Shira . . . are you okay? I'm kinda worried. You just seem . . . really upset. Is this about the note?" He was almost certain that he was about to regret this whole thing.
Shira was surprised to hear Alexandros voice behind her, she turned around and keeping a calm look on her face just shook her head. "I'm fine..." she said, through lieing teeth. She turned back around, and getting back to her training twirled Hibiki in her hands. Man was it a bad time for Alexandros to be around her now, she swung the scythe viciously through the air, a low ringing sound resonating from both blades at each end of the weapon. Just why did this note bother her so much? She tried to make sense of the entire situation, however as she got wrapped within her own thoughts she accidentally dropped the scythe cutting her hand in the process. She swore beneath her breath, and sitting down next to her fallen weapon just looked at the ground. This all just didn't make any sense. Was it true? Did Alexandros truly love her? No...he couldn't have...She looked at the palm of her hand, and watching her own blood ooze out of her wound just sighed.
"You're lying and you know it," he stated as he took a step forward, into Shira's swinging blades. He wanted to get closer, but he couldn't make it past her swinging. He tried a step anyway and ended up with a slash across his chest. He decided that it wasn't worth dealing with, so he just left it. As soon as he tried another step, she dropped her weapon. He could see as soon as it left her hands that it was going to cut her, but he couldn't do anything. Once the weapon was on the ground, he covered the remaining distance between them. He took her hand and put his own over it. "Care to tell me what the problem is?" he asked, putting his other hand on her shoulder. "This is gonna hurt," he said. He wiped the blood off her hand and heated his thumb. He ran his thumb across the cut and put his hand back over it. Then, he left a patch of flexible metal over the cut to act as a bandage and to hold it together. He listened for anything she had to say while he worked and, when he was done, said "That should fix that and it shouldn't hinder you in any way. It'll dissolve once the cut's fully healed."
Shira had not expected Alexandros to get closer to her, ge had closed in the space that she purposely caused between them, and had now just taken her hand into his own. At first the dark persona was going to push the man's hand away, but feeling his other hand on her shoulder just listened to what he had to say. "Care to tell me what the problem is?" he asked. The girl didn't reply, for how could she? She also didn't understand what was making her so upset! And if Alexandros wasn't there with her at the moment, she would have literally hit herself in the forehead and tell herself to pull her act together. Cause this whole emotion she was feeling, this...phase, was not her. She didn't show her feelings like this ever, and the fact that she was doing so now just made her even more upset.
'Im being weak...' she said to herself mentally. Her attention was then veered back towards Alexandros as he spoke up once again. "This is gonna hurt," he said. This made Shira confused, just what was he going to do? Soon enough she got her answer. He wiped the blood off her hand and heated his thumb. He ran his thumb across the cut and put his hand back over it. This made the girl cringe slightly, man did it sting. He then left a patch of flexible metal over the cut to act as a bandage and to hold it together. When he was done, he said "That should fix that and it shouldn't hinder you in any way. It'll dissolve once the cut's fully healed." At first the dark persona said nothing, just sorta stared at the metal which was now visibly seen on the palm of her hand, then closing her fingers over it she looked up at the man and said. "Thank you..."
She then got up grabbing Hibiki as she did, and taking on a defensive stance added coldly. "You didn't have to you know...I could've just as easily gotten a regular band aid."
"I could've just as easily gotten a regular band aid."
Alexandros was shocked by her reaction. He stood up and looked her in the eyes. "I know, but I thought this was easier," he stated. Her defensive stance bothered him. He formed a pair of swords in his own hands and stood there. "I just wanted to talk to you, but if you'd rather fight, I can go either way." He let the feeling drain from his expression and glared into her eyes. He had a plan. "Let's fight. I won't hold back if you don't want me to. Your terms on the how. But, if I win, we talk. If you win, you pick your terms. I'm sure we've been wanting to fight each other for a while, anyway. Let's give it purpose. Deal?" He let a little emotion back into his expression, though it was definitely not what Shira would expect. It was an expression much like the one he had back when he and Shiro were ready to fight. It was an expression bordering blood-lust. "I do hope you can at least make it interesting, Shira. I'd be disappointed with any less."
'A fight huh...' Shira thought as she stared up at Alexandros. She hadnt really planned on fighting the man, but if that's what he wanted then fine. Fighting would actually be the best thing at this point, the girl needed to get away from her thoughts, and doing this was a perfect chance for her to do so. She closed her eye's, and clearing her mind so that it was a complete blank, listened to the terms of the battle. She nodded, as he asked if they had a deal, which she said simply. "yes." She then opened her eye's except this time her gaze was different. She had a much cold demeanor now, a side she had not shown in quite some time. She looked up at Alexandros, and listening to his remark about her making it interesting just laughed, an evil grin replacing her current facial features. She took a neutral stance, and closing her eye's replied, "Please...i just hope you can keep me entertained." And without opening her eye's just waited for the man to attack. "Your move..." she uttered coldly.
His smile grew wider and got a very unnatural feel to it. He ran forward. It was typically a dumb move and he knew it. He just hoped that she would just think he was being dumb or overconfident. He moved his swords to his right side as if preparing to attack, but, shortly after he entered her range, he slid and let himself melt. He then moved quickly behind her and reformed facing her. He kept the blades of his weapons dull. He didn't plan on killing her. He quickly snapped his weapons into their attack points. One went to her shoulder and the other just above her waist. He didn't worry about defending himself at all. As soon as he made that quick attack, he jumped back and glared at her. "If this is your idea of interesting . . ." His smile returned and he watched her carefully for any signs that she would move. If he saw them, he'd be able to read her movement and would likely be able to dodge anything that came his way.
Shira kept very still as Alexandros made his move, she listened to the noise all around her, and paying close attention to one held her scythe behind her back, once she did she heard a loud CLANK! sound. She opened her eye's, and tilting her head back met her opponent face to face, her scythe she saw parried with his two blades. She then watched as the man jumped back and landing far away from her glared at her saying. "If this is your idea of interesting . . ." The dark persona didn't say anything, instead she just closed her eyes once again, and concentrating her energy to her feet disappeared from the man's sight for one second. Her appearance was then replaced by a fast moving blur, and running to his side, did a spin combo. She then jumped in the air, and opening her eye's for a mere second kicked Alexandros right dab in the face, landing on the ground and jumping back soon after.
Alexandros just focused as soon as Shira disappeared. Even though he didn't have Saxen's Zytanha's Sight, he had the advantage of not being human. He followed her movement and barely blocked her spin combo. He watched her continue to move, jumping into the air and let his guard down for a moment, which was, of course, a mistake. A mistake that resulted with her foot in his face. He didn't fall, move, or react in any way. She landed and jumped back. Of course, with any landing, there's a short recovery time, to regain balance and cancel out whatever momentum one still has after landing. He took advantage of that and started moving forward as soon as she jumped. He moved as fast as he could, trying to reach her landing point at the same time she did, though he was a little late for that. He was still close. He started swinging his swords in complex patterns as fast as he could. This time, he was going to stay on her.
Shira didnt flinch as Alexandros started swinging his blade at her, she blocked his attacks as best she could. Once she realized she was in a dangerous position, she ducked underneath one of his swords and finding an opening jumped up again this time kicking him in the jaw as she flipped backwards. She landed on the ground roughly, however she quickly regained her balance and charging towards the man did another set of spin combos. She knew due to the fact Alexandros was made out of metal, she had no chance in damaging him. But there had to be a way for her to win this battle, there just had to be! She backed up so that there was space between the two of them, and narrowing her eye's at the man waited for his next attack. Meanwhile she tried to think of a plan which would guarantee her victory, but to do that she would have to find some weaknesses to the man's metallic body.
Alexandros was actually quite impressed by her ability to keep up with his attacks. Thing was, he was still fighting like a human, and, as long as he fought like humans, he fought on their terms. He didn't like that. He noticed her duck under one of his attacks and then flip backwards. He saw her foot coming toward his face again and leaned back, just enough to dodge it. He watched her come forward and try to attack him again. This time, he dodged the attacks, keeping his expression blank. It would throw off most people unless they were experienced or stupid. Shira would likely fit into the first category. Then she backed up and, judging by the look on her face, was realizing that she wouldn't be able to win, though she was certainly going to try. It reminded him of when he and Saxen had fought the first time, though he had a lot more at stake. He retracted the swords and looked over at Shira, smiling. "Well done, so far. Although, I do wonder . . . how long can you hold up? You only have so long to think of a plan and even less time before I start getting bored and REALLY start to fight. So . . . what are you going to do?" He was certain she'd keep fighting. He just wanted to taunt her, make her want to win even more than she already did, make her vent some of her anger and frustration. His eyes softened for a fraction of a second before becoming neutral again.
Shira just chuckled at Alexandros comment, she closed her eye's for a split second and looking up at her opponent put on a small smile. She knew what the man's plan was, he wanted to get her angry which would cause her to preform irrational decisions. Unfortunately for him those kind of tricks didn't work on her. She got into a defensive stance, and calming her mind attacked once again; this time with much more speed and power. Like Alexandros, Shira had been holding back. She was using half of her strength now, believing that it wasn't necessary to go full out on the man just yet. She raised her blade as if to attempt and stab the man however, as she did she immediately jumped to the side, and spinning once again used the tornadoe technique. Which was an attack that let's the user attack his/her opponents with multiple attacks while spinning at a highly face pace. Hoping this would at least give her a better examine of Alexandros capabilities she carefully examined how her opponent would block this attack.
Like he had said, it was only a matter of time before he started getting bored, and that time was coming quickly. Shira's attack didn't do much to change his opinion. When she faked a stab, he didn't move. Stabs were nothing to him. They were in and out and the damage was easily repaired. Then, she went for a spinning attack. He simply watched her swings and hardened the areas that were about to be hit. To anyone other than him, it would seem that he was just standing there while the scythe was striking him. There were slight scratches and nicks at the impact points, but those were quickly eliminated. After several strikes, he just started laughing. He turned to look at Shira and began to speak. "You're going to have to do better than this! I'm telling you now, that weapon of yours is going to get you nowhere!" Had this been a serious fight, he would have shot some metal at her, but he didn't want to hurt her too bad. He just continued to stand there, watching her futile attempts to injure him.
'Guess that got me nowhere...' The dark persona thought as she examined Alexandros reactions, from what she could tell she would have to take a different approach. 'Wait...' she thought. What was it that he said? That her weapon wouldn't get her anywhere? She thought about it, then coming up with an idea smiled. She threw Hibiki to the side, and reaching into her bag took out the cutlass Alexandros had given her long ago. If Hibiki stood no chance against him, then what about the cutlass? Afterall...it was made from him. Maybe that was it...maybe, a weapon made of his very own material could deal some damage, and give her a chance to win this battle. Well...It was worth a shot. Shira took up a defensive stance, and waiting for the man to attack wondered if her theory would work.
