In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Organization XIII or Dark XII Nickname(optional): -nil-
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Position: Good
Organization XIII or Dark XII Position: -nil-
Power(s): Trained marksman - Rarely misses a shot unless he stumbles or is exhausted - Drawing his pistols takes only an instant Seiger sat down on the slope, his back resting against the tree, enjoying the afternoon breeze. A movement to his right caught his eye, and he turned to see a bird flying off and away from the woods behind him. He realized that as his eyes followed its path, his pistol was trained on it the whole time. Breathing out, he uncocked his pistol and returned it to it's holster. He didn't even remember drawing it.
Sword-style: Blitz, elemental sword - Tausend A flurry of blows, Seiger slashes at foes all around him within a one meter radius. - Agujeros Seiger lunges forward, pumping all his strength and body weight into the attack, throwing him far forward and possibly through his target. He is able to use this move to quickly close the gap between himself and his enemy. Also able to charge this move with elemental powers - Macht Seiger moves with the wind and seems to create after-images of himself, enabling him to dodge one attack. - Desgarrar His most terrifying move yet, Seiger combines Macht with Agujeros and Thundera, swiftly dodging out of sight before unleashing his full elemental and physical fury. Only able to use once per battle, and requires one post of prep, one post of recovery
"Now!" Krugeri called out, and boys from all around the ring hurled stones at Seiger, who nimbly spun his blade to deflect the rocks from all angles. A perfect execution of Tausend. Agujeros! He lunged, instantly crossing the battle circle and sinking his sword into Krugeri, who smiled down at the boy. Confused, the realization came too late as the after-image disappeared and he felt a sharp crack to the back of his head, knocking him to the floor. "No way... Macht?! So quickly?!" "You still have a long way to go, boy!"
- Thundera
- Cure
Weapon(s): - Raio and Tosen (CZ 75b and a CZ 85, two black automatic pistols, total of 32 rounds between the two) - Blitz (A daito about 1 meter long, the blade is black with streaks of orange. Blessed to conduct elemental magic)
Picture(optional): - to be continued-
Appearance: Height - 1.74m Weight - 68kg Hair Color - Black, streaks of silver Hair Style - Short, messy Eyes - Dark brown
Apparel- - Cowboy hat - Loose white cotton shirt - Heavy leather duster - Half-fingered gloves - Belt with two pistol holsters at the side - Scabbard across his back, hidden by his duster, hilt jutting out at the right hip - Black pants (man... how much more detailed must I go? =P) - Travelling boots, no annoying star-thingies behind them
General appearance- Despite being only seventeen, years of travelling and battling have given him a hardened appearance, making him look to be in his twenties. He rarely shaves, and perpetually has stubble on his chin. His eyes are hard and fierce, his face perpetually serious. In spite of what his eyes say, his manner is light and easy, almost too casual. Yet at a moments' notice he is ready to fly into battle Tall and skinny, he still packs enough muscle to avoid being labelled "lanky". His tanned complexion complements his long limbs.
Personality: Pensive and reflective while on his own, he keeps a lid on his boyish antics and reserves them for his closest friends. As such he normally comes off as aloof. He is also a very sad man, the deaths of everyone close to him shaking him to his core. He is self-loathing and believes that he must bear all his pain and sorrows on his own, and that he must gain the strength to bear the pain of his friends as well. Ironically, his hatred for himself gives him unbelievable will-power.
He's a charismatic man, commanding respect where he walks, and many of his fights are won simply by his words alone. Gifted with a glib tongue, he is usually able to make light of a situation, while remaining perfectly serious and focused on his task. He is wary of helping strangers, experience teaching him that often people learn that fire's hot only when they burn themselves.
He's fine being off on his own, but enjoys the company of friends as well. Years of being a wanderer have taught him that friends come and go, and he has learnt to accept the flow of life while cherishing every moment. This leaves him with a sense of contentment with his relationships with everyone
He can be harsh and cruel, and will hold a grudge for long periods. His torture can be magnificent, and once he even frightened Krugeri during his torture of a rapist. He is rash and quick to pass judgement, but is able to think rationally and even mercifully when he cools off.
Original World: Vandaras
Current Residing World: Traverse Town
History/Background: The land of Vandaras is a peaceful land, filled with meadows and plains, lush forests and rolling hills. Once, thousands of years ago, the land was called Earth, but something had happened that turned the world right back on it's axis, and now most traces of the time known as the 21st Century were gone.
Humans had returned to the life-style of what was known as the 16th Century, traveling by horseback, settling into wooden towns and settlements, and all in all had a rather cow-boy feel. Religions somehow remained in tact, and the resurfacing of ancient artifacts known as 'Swords' and 'Guns' have made the world a complex land. For now, within the peaceful light of the land, darkness and chaos burned...

Keith Talis was born to Joseph and Kristen Talis, both parents killed by bandits in front of the child. He was five years old, and he killed the three bandits with his father's pistol, a CZ 85. He later buried his parents with his bare hands, falling unconscious afterwords. Found and raised by wandering folk, he was adopted by Krugeri, a bard cum widower with uncanny knowledge of pistols. Keith suffered from amnesia due to the intense trauma, forgetting even his own name. He was given the name "Seiger" by Krugeri. Under his new father, he learned swordplay and how to handle a pistol.
He became the best pistoleer and duelist among the wanderers by the age of thirteen. Word of dark creatures spreading across Vandaras began to surface about this time, and after several run-ins with the heartless, they finally came in force when Seiger had turned seventeen. They attacked and killed everyone, save Krugeri and Seiger, who subconsciously uses "Cure" on his father while trying to drag him to safety
Krugeri passes Seiger his CZ 75b pistol, and names the matching pair of pistols Raio and Tosen (Seiger had kept his first father's pistol)
He also passes Seiger his own blade, Blitz, a mystical blade able to channel the elements, passed down in his family for generations. Krugeri charges him to seek the light of the mythical "Kingdom Hearts", and vanquish the darkness of the world. He breathes his last speaking of the legendary wielders of the keyblade, who he must find in order to save the world.
Unsure of where to begin his quest, he first scales the tallest mountain of Vandaras, Mount Talis, which bore the same name as that of his parents, though he knew it not. He had hoped with the high vantage point he would get a better understanding of where to begin.
At the peak, with the full moon above him, ancient magic worked upon him, lifting his amnesia and bringing back his traumatic childhood. Coupled with the recent loss of his family, he is brought to the brink of madness, saved only by the memories his families, the light within his heart bursting with their love. Years of discipline, battle, and traveling, coupled with the love he received since birth, gave rise to a sea of light within his heart. He declares his name as "Seiger Talis", and begins to battle the darkness.
He conquers the visions of darkness and nightmares, mastering "Thundera" by channeling the power of a passing squall over the mountain. In the climax of the battle, he is sucked into a vortex as the darkness consumes his world. As he tumbles into a strange new Traverse Town, another star is winked out...
Role Playing Sample: "Let me go!" the girl screamed, earning chuckles from the men, the three of them descending on the woman.
"What's wrong, darlin'?" one of them with a missing front tooth sneered, "We'll take good care of ya, at least, you probably wouldn't die," One of the men had orange hair and reached forward, ripping apart a piece of the lady's skirt as she desperately ducked between them, running down the dark alley as howls of laughter followed her. So distraught was she that she failed to see the shadow move across her path, and she felt despair as she crashed into the figure and felt the burly arms of the third man wrap around her small figure. She looked up with teary eyes and saw eyes burning with evil smiling back.
"Now, now, that's no way to-" the man was cut off in mid-sentence, his body going rigid and his mouth opened in a silent scream. The woman tumbled from his lifeless arms and scrabbled past him, eager to be away and uncaring for what happened to that vile man.
"Hey! Robert! Why'd you let her go?!" she heard one of the man call out. "Hey, Rob? Ro- Oh, God!" The terrified woman did not even notice the silence as her panic carried her through the streets.

She ran for what seemed like an eternity, finally, she collapsed on the cobbled pavement and bent over, the shock of the encounter finally wearing off, and she began to weep. Oh, how terrible it had been! She had been going home after a long day of working in the First District, and had stupidly decided to take the short-cut into the Third District, running into the three men with alcohol in their breaths and desire in their eyes.
Those eyes... She shivered, and briefly wondered what became of the men. Did they not chase her? Had they already given up? She turned, and instantly her mouth went dry, her body frozen in terror. There were three of them, dark shadows that walked like animals, yet had eyes that burned an eerie amber light. The creatures creeped and crawled along the floor, seeming to blend with the darkness...
Her scream pierced the night as she saw the floor come alight with eyes, the same amber eyes of the creatures of darkness. The shadows! They were not shadows at all! The darkness that crept along the square of the Second District was nothing but a mass of those terrible beasts! The first three saw the opportunity and leapt, bearing down on the woman.
Thunder boomed, the deafening roar throwing the woman's hands to her ears as she fell to her knees. Why her? Why her?! She felt the panic begin to rise in her, the events of the night threatening the very fabric of her sanity. Was that the answer? Had she gone mad? Thunder boomed once more, and this time it was accompanied by an odd bestial cry. After several minutes, she finally mustered courage and dared to raise her eyes, and beheld a sight that would remain with her for the rest of her life. Standing between her and the wall of darkness was a single man, his long-coat billowing behind him as his right arm weaved an impossible dance with a sword and his left shifting endlessly from one monster to another, the pistol firing off into the writhing darkness.
A single click, and the pistol showed empty, and the man's hand swiftly drew back into his long coat, coming out empty as his right continued it's frantic dance. One of the monsters pulled itself out of the ground behind the man, and as it leapt the woman stared helplessly, unable to give ample warning. The man seemed to notice and swayed, the dark creature missing his head and then splitting into two as his sword cleaved it.
A cut to the left, pivot, an upward slash, turn, leap! The man soared high above the creatures, which quickly leapt, a massive wave of darkness rising to meet him. The man gripped his blade with both hands and brought the sword down, crying out, "Thunder!"
Thundera!
Lightning flashed from the sky, the light parting the curtain of darkness as it streaked across her eyes, blinding her with white light. Then darkness came, and she tumbled into sleep.

She awoke on a bed, velvet blankets cast about her. Obviously she had a fitful sleep, but for how long? Where was she? The memories of the night before came flashing at her, the drunken men, the dark creatures, the man of thunder... Was it all simply a terrible nightmare? Rubbing her eyes, she felt her body aching in protest as she gingerly rose from the bed, shuffling across the carpeted dark room. Reaching for the curtains, she opened them and the warm morning sunshine spilled into the room. She closed her eyes, welcoming the gentle warmth, and turned back to snuggle into her blankets once more. As she settled into the bed, she noticed a note on her bed-side table.
"Dear Woman, Tonight, you witnessed terrible darkness, both tangible and in the hearts of man. Never let your heart waver, do not be afraid to combat the darkness, even if it means to flee to fight another day. The room has been paid for, and I wish you all the best. May God watch over you,
From, A Servant of the Light"

Seiger awoke, surprising himself. Had the healing taken so much energy? Well, with taking on at least fifty heartless on his own, he was surprised he had managed to even drag the woman here, having used Thundera under such strain.
His hand was still upon the brow of the terrified young woman, and he gave her a sad smile. How terrifying it must have been! He did all he could, using what little healing powers he had to try to calm her mind and heal the damage. With luck, she would have become stronger with the healing, and possibly take the night's experience without losing her sanity.
What an impossible way to begin his search for the light. Rising, he moved silently out of the room and into the warm sun. Lifting his hands to the wind, he felt a smile settle on to his face.
