In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Kid sure likes to here himself speak, Larxene thought as Paul spoke.
She hardly took in anything he was saying: something about how a monster was kept back there, or how this could have been a portal to the Underworld. She really did not care all that much; she had come here for some entertainment, not to listen to kid in a weird costume.
And then the Storm Rider entered the picture.
It came barreling out of the inky blackness and Larxene had to brace herself as it whipped over them into the sky. Brushing her hair out of her eyes, she regarded the draconic Heartless coldly, a frown creased across her face. She wasn’t exactly looking for a fight, but it seems that she found one anyway.
“Wonderful, a Heartless, and a big one at that,” Larxene muttered as her eyes followed the circling form. “I’m not exactly dressed for this sort of situation, but what’s a girl to do.” With a flashed her knives appeared, electricity crackling over her fingers. “You two… Stay the hell out of my way. You get shocked, that’s your problem.”
Then, it came into view: The humongous, dragon like, monster of darkness came flying out into the skies.
Xena snatched up some concealed knives and snidely remarked, "“You two… Stay the hell out of my way. You get shocked, that’s your problem.”
My, she cuts right to the chase. I DON'T want to piss HER off The thought raced across Paul's mind as the Storm Rider circled through the air, and then swooped for the trio.
Paul knotched an arrow into place, and stood his ground near Xena. Out of nowhere, Paul's vision came true, and his headache subsided. In fact, his head was so clear, he grinned broadly at the challenge, and began strategizing.
Before the monster was about to finish the priests sight, and bomb, Paul quickly saw a spark jump between it's two horns.
Eyes opening at the revelation, Paul said only two things, "Ladies, stay away when it swoops, it drops bombs. And Xena, I hope you saw that Electric charge"
With that, Paul threw himself with some difficulty away from the incoming attack.

Apologies for taking so long. My laptop had to be taken in for repairs, yet again, so I've been working on one of my dinosaur PCs . I do believe I finally got this old thing in working order. I'll edit this post with my proper entry in a few. xD)
(Meh heh... Made new poast anyway, just so you guys know it's been updated more easily~)

Larxene was barely paying attention to her to companions anymore. Electrical currents surged over her skin and the muscles in her arms and legs twitched, eager to spring into action. Only faintly did she hear the boy’s warning, “Xena, I hope you saw that electric charge,” but the words did not stick. She responded, though it was not at all related to what was said.
“Don’t you dare look up my dress, boy!”
The girl, Rose, was already going at the dragon. When it swooped she got underneath it, against the boy’s warnings, and brought the beast crashing down. The Storm Rider ground against the earthy floor of the arena, incapacitated for the moment. Open to easy assault.
My turn, Larxene thought.
Crouching down, she leaped into the air, soaring through it like a bolt of lightning before landing upon the Storm Rider’s head. She slid down the massive Heartless’ brow, right in front of its bulbous, yellow eyes. “My, what big eyes you have,” she said, twirling one of her knives between her fingers, and with one swift motion drove it into one of the yellow orbs.
Excessively cruel, perhaps, to even do to a Heartless, but such was her style.
She pulled out her knife and proceeded to do the same to the other eye, relishing the screech that met her ears.

Paul gathered himself and saw as the Dragon like heartless fell victim to Rose's assault, and it lay, dazed on the ground. Xena shouted something (My, Xena's quite the hothead), and then assaulted the beast driving her daggers into it's eyes.
Paul cringed for a second, but then sprung into action, and began firing arrows into the head of the beast. For a minute, Paul almost felt pity for the beast, but remebered it's a Heartless: It felt no emotions, so he shouldn't either... for it at least. But pictures of a certain other heartless kept popping in his head, but he managed to shake it off.
Down to 27 arrows... I need to make them last. The priest reminded himself as the Heartless began to gather itself. An idea formed in Paul's head as he finally noticed the nice big targets on top of the Storm Rider's head: It's horns.
Drawing two arrows back, Paul yelled, "Vulcos Concero (Twin Fire!)" With that, he released one arrow at each horn, the projectiles catching blaze and colliding: One hit it's target, but the other pierced the dragon's wing.
The arrow in the burnt momentarily, but the arrow in the wing had a much more dramatic effect: The wing caught fire, and was slowly spreading along the appendage.
Paul was moving to a higher point in the arena as the Heartless roared in rage, thinking to himselfWell that's hot. I hope those two are okay. Suddenly, two balls of lightning were hurtiling at the priest as he stood in the stands. They hit the maestro, shocking him, and knocking him over.
Agilely Larxene sprung off the Storm Rider’s face just as Paul’s arrow’s made impact, flipping over the Heartless’ brow and between its horns that crackled with electricity, weaving her fingers into its sparse mane to keep a hold of the beast. The beast was surely blinded now and hopefully that would’ve made things a little easier, the Heartless unable to see them to attack effectively. With how tightly Larxene had to hang on to its mane, it seemed like the thing was only madder, bucking in a wild blindness as it tried to get airborne once more.
As much as Larxene hated to admit it, she couldn’t take down the giant Heartless on her own. She had and elemental disadvantage: the Heartless wielded lightning, much like herself, and as such her electrical attacks were useless. All she had was her speed and knives, and those along were not enough to take down the flying behemoth… She would need to boy’s and girl’s help to defeat it; trust them to not muck up.
Their assault was not planned, a bit chaotic even, but it seemed to be getting the job done. The boy - Paul was it? - seemed to have caught on to the source of the Storm Rider’s electrical attacks, its horns, and promptly left fly some arrows to take them out. One hit, the other set a wing on fire… And then, next she knew, Paul was downed by a thunderbolt let fly by a blind heartless, the female human was throwing something, and the Storm Rider had erupted into flames.
…They were going to get her killed, weren’t they?
“I’m still up here!” Larxene practically bellowed as she hiked the hem of her dress away from the spreading fire – she was most certainly not properly dressed for this.
Time to bring this back to the ground, she thought venomously, and with a grunt pulled herself back up the Storm Rider’s head. Holding on to what remained of the one horn upon its head, she began kicking with all she had the other, ignoring the electricity that sparked from it – it really didn’t bother her. Steadily she got the blinded beast to veer in another direction, and once got its course set, released her hold of the creature and dropped down to the ground, landing gracefully in her feet.
The Storm Raider crashed into the stone wall with a painful crunch and once more plummeted to the ground.

Luckily, the bolt had just shaken Paul up a bit; He only had a bump on his from the fall, and most of his hair sticking up from the static.
[/color Orange] Phew! it just nicked me! The priest noticed while looking on the spot on the wall where the bolt had actually struck.
Standing up quickly, rembering he was still in battle, he saw that the Heartless wass now ablaze, guessing that was from Rose (he had heard the fire combust further when she had something like, "Molotovs over here."). But then he saw the figure of Xena, atop the beast, bellowing, "I’m still up here!” .
There she was: The lighting weilding woman on the head of the beast, and though being shocked, it had no effect. Paul yelled back as he climbed down the steps. "Sorry Xena! I had only intended to hit the horns!"
Thats when all Hades broke loose: The heartless was ready for payback. It backed up a ways, twirled around so it faced it's adversaries (How it knew where they were, Paul never did figure out how).
The monster roared and two walls appeared, blocking our heroes ( Or more our heartless slayers), and the Heartless's remaing horn started sparking, and creating a humongous ball of electricity.
Paul's face showed a grim smile and he warned, "Ladies, we need to take out that horn, stat!"
With that, the priest unleashed a volley of arrows, (minding his companion's positions), all the projectiles aimed at the beasts horn.
(Juuuust wanna throw out that there are a lot of inconsistencies going with what’s going on with the Storm Rider guys… Kinda why I wanted someone – staff or otherwise – to DM the boss. >.>;; )
Deftly Larxene rolled away from the Heartless and towards the boy, taking a stand beside him as she gauged their current situation.
From the looks of things the giant dragon Heartless seemed to be preparing one of its special attacks – a nasty one that involved it cornering its prey and more or less nuking them with a massive stream of electrical energy – and although she was mostly resistant to the monster’s electrical attacks, Larxene was not too keen on getting hit by this one. Sure, it may not hurt a lot… but it would still hurt.
There was little attack-wise she could do in this situation: her knives could only do so much damaged without her electricity to pack more of a punch. It would seem she’d have to take the defensive then… and let these humans carry on with the assault.
In a surge of sparks she called all eight of her knives to her hands and threw them into the ground, points stuck in the earth. They formed a rough line before her and the boy, unassuming.
“If it gets off its attack before you lop off its other horn then get behind the line! Otherwise you’re toast!” she hissed over the roar of the battle. “I’ll throw up an electrical barrier and try to absorb the attack!”
Paul watched as Rose was unleashing a torrent of "Bullets" at the creature (a friend had tried to explain how "Guns" could fight), which certainly helped.
Then, the priest heard Xena, yelling over the sounds of the battle, “If it gets off its attack before you lop off its other horn then get behind the line! Otherwise you’re toast! I’ll throw up an electrical barrier and try to absorb the attack!”
With that, Xena threw down some knives in front of Apollotin. Still firing arrows, Paul thanked the knife-wielding woman, and was able to have quite a few more arrows make their mark.
But the heartless had finished charging, and unleashed it's devastating attack.
As the nymph had asked, Paul stepped behind the line of knives, bracing himself for the oncoming attack.
(( I'm gonna pop in here to clarify: it was brought up earlier that the Storm Rider cannot, in fact, be the Heartless you all are facing in this thread. It is a unique creature whose Heart has already been released. Two Windstorm Heartless (wyvern emblem Heartless) were decided to be the replacement. f you all wish for me to delete all posts regarding the Storm Rider battle you've got so far, I can do that. You could delete your own or just edit your posts, too. I can also DM the Heartless for you if you wish. ;] ))
