In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

For the second and last time in Traverse Town, Helena's hair was down. The raven hair curled ever so slightly at the tips, each curl in different directions, mocking its authority. She pulled the backpack's other strap over her shoulder, ignoring the fringe as it brushed across her arm. She waited by the door to the Gummi Ship docks, chewing on an ice cream stick absent-mindedly. The girl had purchased a few more essentials before she left for the other worlds--extra gunpowder, soap, a pack of sodas, and some chips. Helena brushed the hair out of her eyes, looked about, and when she saw no one, let her bag down on the ground beside her.
What would she do now that she was going to different worlds? Helena had told herself that she'd save innocents in all these new worlds. Maybe she'd get a few keepsakes, too. Now that she thought about it, Helena always wanted a tattoo but the only person who commited himself to such an art did not serve 'minors'. The girl rolled her eyes spitefully, knowing that the guy was probably stuck in the age of the dinosaurs.
Time passed and the tsundere found herself far too early. She wasn't one to pay attention to the time, especially since it was always night here. Still, she chewed on the ice cream stick, though now it was splitting into fourths and stabbed into her tongue far too often. Helena spat it out nearby and promptly, with the snap of her fingers, set it aflame. Moments later, the stick was simply a pile of ashes that blew away with the wind. Now, she was simply bored.
Sleep had a way to escape Helena. The girl didn't think she was an insomniac, but she found herself pulling all-nighters far more often than most. She figured this was because she'd spent so many years saving people from those dark caverns late at night, where the danger was high and sleep was a far-off memory. Now, however, Helena found herself drifting, caught between being awake and being asleep, in that gray area that blurred as those two different realms met...
And then there were those footsteps approaching her. Rust-colored eyes peered up, gently etched with exhaustion, and tracked the approach of a certain individual.

Legato was nearly jumping in excitement. They were actually going on a gummi ship! His mind was still reeling at the possible experiences he could have with the others. Was this a dream? They still hadn't worked out everything with Leiz, but he still reckoned that he'd let them use it.
Walking over, he saw Helena but she seemed a bit different. He noticed she'd let her hair down. Curious as to the fashion she was making, he walked up to her and asked:
"Hey Helly! Noticed the hair, is it some new thing you're trying out?"
Falsetto was beyond excited. He always wanted to go to other worlds and explore each of them. He also wants to travel to find himself; who he really is. What is he really? A kind and caring individual who wants to help his friends and save the worlds or someone who lets a great evil eat away his heart and let it take everything away from him. Falsetto didn't know who he really was.
He felt sad all of sudden. Would he let that evil take over? Is he fighting it? If he's fighting back, is he doing a good job of doing so? Falsetto slapped himself. No, I have to think positively. I can't think about that now. I have more important things to do.
Falsetto was almost to the Gummi Ship Docks with a backpack full of important things. He had fruits, water, soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a few towels, an extra pair of clothes, and one of his prized-possesions, his harmonica. He always had that harmonica with him. His father gave it him when he was five years old and he never left without it. It was one of his two treasures and they're the only thing he has left to remember his parents.
Falsetto got his harmonica out of the pocket of his backpack and played a beautiful tune while still walking towards the Docks. The tune itself was so mesmerizing and amazing. He played this tune to many people before and they all cried because of its beauty. Little did those people know that Falsetto created the song itself.
He saw Legato and Helena up ahead. Legato was speaking to Helena, but Falsetto couldn't hear what he was saying, because he's still playing his harmonica. When he was close to them, he stopped playing and greeted them.
"Hey you two, how are you guys doing? You excited for today? I can't wait to see different worlds...with friends."
Falsetto didn't realize until now. These two people standing before him were his friends. His only friends. Anil and Leiz were his friends as well. This was a surprise to him since he never had friends before.
Maybe this exploration will be good for me.

As Anil made his way towards the Gummi Ship docks he couldn't but feel slightly excited. They were going to go to new worlds! And probably have a great time in doing so, but what really made him was the fact that for the first time...he wouldn't be alone. For the first time...he actually had friends. The boy didn't pack that much, due to the fact he had no time to explore Traverse Town and buy some materials besides food and your every-day needs; and of course he had Adad with him, afterall there was no way he was gonna lose his only weapon especially with the heartless all about. But besides that he pretty much had just the clothes on his back. Once he finally reached the docks, he saw the others already standing there waiting for him. He put on a small smile, and waving to them said in a soft tone. "Hey everyone! Sorry if I was a little slow, I had to go to the grocery store and grab some stuff." He scratched the back of his head, and letting out a small laugh just looked up at his new friends. 'Maybe....' He thought, "Maybe...I'll actually get it right this time...'

That's generally how the green-haired boy started out his day. Up from the bunk of his claustrophobia-inducing bedroom, through the narrow hallways of the ship's interior, and out to the ceramic-tiled kitchen, where he'd stumble over to the countertop of which few appliances sat upon: a toaster, a microwave, and the all-important coffee maker.
"Lid off, new filter, five cups of mix, seven cups of water," his mind groggily droned, continuously repeating the sequence of events that needed to happen in order to put together a decent jar of coffee. He indulged in this labor for a good minute before finally finishing, leaving the coffee maker's side to go take a shower.
Leiz's head pounded incessantly, his whole body ached, and his mind, which had normally been clear and decisive, had slowed to a crawl.
It was going to be a long day.
* * * * *
Pulling up to the dock's doors with a coffee mug in hand, Leiz checked his watch to affirm just how late - or early - he was. To his disappointment, he was more than ten minutes late, which quite obviously meant that the group he was supposed to meet up with had been standing at the dock's doors for over ten minutes now.
Pulling at the double door's handle, he heaved backward with all his strength, revealing the sight of four individuals ... of which one was totally unfamiliar to him. He couldn't pinpoint just exactly why there were four and not three, but shrugging it off, he gestured for them to follow him over to the ship.
"Okay, okay ... let's get moving," he said hoarsely, taking a swig of coffee from his mug. Wincing widely at the strength of the blend, his statement from before was joined by a much quieter, mumbled remark: "I really have to work more on my coffee formula."

Helena peered up to meet the eyes of the boys before her. First came Legato, then Falsetto, and finally Anil. Legato was the only one to greet her directly, though she wasn't really sure what he was commenting on. Tiredly the girl nodded. Last night's events were stuck on repeat in her mind's eye. Again, she could feel Hero's lips against hers, and that odd feeling she had come to know as love... And as she was drifting off into that moment, where maybe, in her dreams, she could live it again, the green-haired man approached. Did he ever give a name? The tsundere girl wasn't sure, to be honest. She ran a hand through her raven hair and finally she unzipped her backpack and produced an energy drink. One gulp and the realm of awareness found her once again. Refreshed, she silently stashed away the drink back in her backpack and followed the green-haired man.
Hero...
Will we meet again one day...?
A thought crossed her mind. Maybe they would somewhere else. Maybe he could travel, too...
But first, she needed to know just one thing...
"Excuse me... sir," Helena said warily. She still wasn't sure what gender this rather kind person was. "Could we have a name? That way, I know who to thank..." And whether or not you're a man or a woman.
He noticed the others come. First Falsetto, then Anil. Anil mentioned something about getting some groceries. There was something about Anil that he liked. Maybe he was the boy closest to his age or his personality. Legato was glad Anil was coming as he wanted to get to know him more. Come to think of it, he wanted to get to know the others more as well. He looked at this excursion as a variety of things, an exciting adventure, a new beginning and more.
He then noticed the man from yesterday again. He seemed pretty frazzled and mentioned something about coffee which Legato didn't really pay attention too. He then heard Helena say:
"Could we have a name? That way, I know who to thank..."
"Oh yeah! We didn't get your name!" Legato exclaimed. "How silly of me, let's re-introduce ourselves! My name is Legato, she's Helena. The man over there is Falsetto and this boy over here is Anil! What's your name?" He said in an excited tone.
Right after Falsetto approached Helena and Legato, Anil appeared and he said he had to go to the grocery store. "No worries, the green-haired...person hasn't shown up yet, so you're in luck," Falsetto said nicely to the boy. Anil seemed a lot more open and was very jolly. He may have grown comfortable towards the three.
The green-haired person finally showed up and was carrying a coffee mug. Falsetto thought he was going to be a no show. I think it would be ridiculous if someone was driving around strangers to different worlds, but, a ride's a ride.
Helena asked the person who his name was. Falsetto never actually realized he ever introduced himself. It's probably a good idea to know what your driver's name is.
"Oh yeah! We didn't get your name!" Legato exclaimed. "How silly of me, let's re-introduce ourselves! My name is Legato, she's Helena. The man over there is Falsetto and this boy over here is Anil! What's your name?"
"Legato do you ever let us introduce ourselves? Geez you get way too excited about some things," Falsetto said duly at the boy. He let out a yawn and realized he was starting to get drowsy. It was probably because he stayed up all night fighting Heartless with Ayrrin and Hero.
Falsetto extended his arm and and offered a hand shake. "What Legato said...I'm Falsetto, nice to meet you." Falsetto didn't know what would happen next.
Anil stayed quiet as the rest of the group started asking the pilot about his name, 'Green hair?' he thought looking up at the pilot, 'well thats certainly different...then again my hair isnt exactly normal either..' He smiled, and waiting for the pilot to respond to Helena's question remained silent.
"I'm going to regret this, aren't I?" Leiz thought, his brow quivering as if he had just tasted something extremely sour or bitter. He'd blame it on the coffee if the source of his displeasure wasn't so blunt - it wasn't even quaint how his future crew members were annoyingly energetic about going on a trip.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Name's Leiz, but you can address me as your captain. We'll get introductions out of the way ... once we're on the ship. I promise I'll be fair as long as you're fair to me," he explained, pausing for a moment as if there was more to say. This marked the first time that he ever addressed a whole group before, and ... this was technically the first time that he ever actually offered to ferry more than two people across the galaxy. "... nah, that's all. On the ship, then."
Perplexed by his willingness to perform a service that some people would see as being kind and gracious, Leiz lead the group over to his ship on the docks, which were ... peculiar. Physical terrain met empty space in the form of wooden poles outstretching from the precipice of the land, forming walkways that lead to individual, self-contained 'parking spaces'.
One of these particular parking spaces happened to contain a gummi ship made out of uniformly carved and painted gummi blocks. It was predominantly black, silver and emerald in color, and quite large - not a cruiser by any means, but certainly something that was expected to house cargo.
Once the group was on the ship, Leiz would follow shortly, taking the liberty of telling everyone to remain seated before engaging the ignition in the cockpit.
An unfinished pot of coffee smashed against the floor of the kitchen as the ship took off.
[[That's it, folks! We're done.]]
