Appearance: Gale stands at about 5’4” and has a fairly slender build. Her black hair hangs just past her shoulders in light waves and is constantly in her face. She keeps it in her face to hide a large burn scar across her right eye. Her green eyes were once vibrant and bright, but have lost much of their energy. She wears a lot of black and does her best to cover every inch of her body, even going so far as to wear a studded collar. She covers herself so extensively to hide the myriad scars across her body. She has another scar across her left eye and covers that by putting a different design in black make-up over it every day.


Personality: Gale is a very mentally and emotionally damaged individual. One of the easiest mistakes to make is to touch her. Having been abused, she will read any attempt to touch her as an attack. When touched, she will often begin screaming and, if the contact isn’t retracted immediately, she may begin kicking and potentially end up in a flashback. She is terrified of people and does her best to avoid talking to people she doesn’t know. After claiming to be mute for a long time, it hurts to talk, so she only uses a few words at a time. Because of this, she can seem somewhat unintelligent or childish and, once she knows you, the second may seem more and more true. When she feels safe with someone, she will often act younger than she is. She will pout, seek attention, act overexcited or hyper, and try to find comfort, both physically and emotionally. She really opens up to people that seem to be in pain. She often portrays a child-like innocence in dealing with hurting people, seeking to make them smile and help them feel like there’s more good in the world.

History:

The first several years of Agalia’s life went very well. Her mother was warm and caring and, even though her father had his moments of anger, her home life was mostly good. Her first year of school, she made a few friends, though only one of those friendships lasted beyond that year. In the middle of that year, her mom was killed in a car accident. Her father snapped after that. He slowly became more and more abusive. She would hide the scars and pretend that nothing was wrong. She wanted to believe that, if she pretended that nothing was wrong, everything would be okay, but that wasn’t the case. She had that one friend through middle school, but she eventually lost her. It was after that happened that some guy started coming over and talking to her every day. He told her his name was Saxen, but continually told her that she was worth something and tried to show her that.

They became “friends” but didn’t really talk much outside of school. That changed when Gale’s father left a burn scar across her right eye. Child services moved her in with her grandparents after that. They were very kind people, but they had just enough money to get by. When the school found out, many people turned it into a joke, but Saxen didn’t. He made it into a mission. He decided that he was going to do everything he could to show Agalia her worth. He spent all of the time he could spare with her and, because he didn’t really have any friends himself, that was a lot of time. Almost their entire day was spent together every day. Saxen always made it known that both he and the Lord God loved her and would remind her daily. They became very close. No matter what either one of them was going through, the other was there to help. Gale’s grandparents and Saxen’s youth pastor were always willing to help, too.

Finally, near the end of their sophomore year, Saxen discovered Anhnyqueg. He came back to say goodbye and visited whenever he could, but that wasn’t very often. After several months, she forced him to show her where the entrance was. He took her and she even got to visit the city. Many months later, she arranged a visit only to find out that he had been gone for quite a while. She still went down to the city, since it was summer, and told her grandparents that she was going to stay with Saxen for the summer. While she was in the city, there was a rather large heartless attack. The heartless were even more numerous than usual. Christy, one of Saxen’s friends, was assigned to Gale’s protection. During the attack, Gale was pushed out of the way of an attack and into a leaving Heartless’s portal. Luckily, the travel was short. Otherwise, she would have lost her heart there. She woke up in Traverse Town with no clue what had happened. All she knew was that she definitely was NOT home and that she was very scared.
