In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Seed yelled rather loudly as he sat up in his bed, sweat dripping from his face. The room was hot enough without his dreams tormenting him; Myde was in his head even as he slept. The Heartless sighed and looked over to see Sol sprawled out on the cot he had set up, his tongue hanging out of his mouth and the wolf boy panting to keep cool. The Heartless couldn't help but smirk at the young teen, didn't look like he a had a care in the world right now. Same thing could not be said for Seed, his thoughts were running wild and he needed to sate them.
"Might as well go to the courtyard, should be quiet there at least." he sighed to himself as darkness surrounded him and took him to the Castle Courtyard. Seed was right, it was indeed quiet in the courtyard, which was what he needed. But it was still scorching hot out so he didn't bother getting a shirt to wear. He'll just meditate in his black shorts.
He sat there for an hour easily before a Shadow came up to him and poked him with its tendril arm. Seed opened up one eye and shooed it away but it just sat next to him and tried to mimic his actions but failed every time. The Heartless just smirked and went back to meditating. A simple stone bench was all he needed to sit on, even though he normally sat under the flowing fountain to ease his thoughts but not today.

"Mmm, what a waste," cooed a soft, gentle ... yet powerful voice. It nearly echoed all throughout the courtyard, though the many marble ornate statues littering the grounds sapped much of its mysterious loudness. Delicate, unfeeling eyes quivered for a moment, as if annoyed. The possessor of the voice, the "Melody of Oblivion", hadn't completely considered his surroundings. "Not even fit for a crowd. Not that I could get an audience here."
Pausing, the beautiful yet monstrous male sighed, running a hand through his crimson-brown locks, tousling hair that looked as if it was caked in hairspray. Of course, ever since he had made that unfathomable dive from humanity, looks took care of itself. Myde was almost religious in his practice of narcassism, yet, for some reason, he never had to open a bottle of eyeliner.
Myde smiled to himself. It was almost divine: he would be beautiful for all eternity, while those "pathetic" humans would suffer that inevitable decline in youth and comeliness.
Standing mere feet from behind a small stone bench, the Melody of Oblivion eyed the green-haired heartless who meditated upon its rough surface. "You're such an amusing creature. What good has meditation ever done us?"
Seed tried to pay no mind to the invader to his tranquility, or rather, lack there of. Just the person he wanted to get away from managed to find his way to Seed, as if fate wasn't a bitch enough as it was. He kept his eyes closed and tried to maintain a low level of calmness before the inevitable came and Myde would claw his way into his life again.
"You're such an amusing creature. What good has meditation ever done us?"
And there it was. The heartless sighed and answered Myde in hopes he would just leave well enough alone this time. "It calms me Myde. I'm a little on edge right now and don't need the person who made me irritated bugging me right now. So," he gave a deep inhale and tried to focus again. That tiny shadow heartless mimicked Seeds actions yet again and just sat there, literally being Seeds shadow for the time being. Seed opened up one eye and saw that Myde was still standing there looking at him.
"Why are you here anyway? Wouldn't the hot weather melt your makeup off your disdainful face?" a smarmy grin etched over Seeds face as he got up and walked up to Myde and just looked at him with a piercing gaze. Myde had a reason for being here, it was no coincidence he and Seed where in the same portion of the castle at the same time, so close to Seed bringing Sol to the castle as well. He knew Myde wanted something, but the question was. What was it?

"There he goes... Blah, blah, blah, my pretty hair..."
The Demented Shot was rather... amused by Myde. Braig could honestly care less about how his own hair looked as long as it was clean. To be quite truthful, Braig wasn't the most beautiful specimen. He didn't particularly think that Myde was, either. But either way, Myde definitely thought he was the finest man to grace this world. The Heartless looked down upon the two from his favorite hiding place--the roof. A particular other rankless Heartless was down there as well... Seed.
Of course, the two didn't seem to particularly like each other. Well, Seed didn't, at the very least. Braig wasn't the kind to meddle in everyone else's relationships. Cooperation, actually, wasn't his forte, even. He enjoyed talking every once in a while, but that was it. Heartless didn't make the greatest companions unless they were mute, like the Shadow that found itself in his lap.
He wasn't terribly hungry that day, which was a first. He'd eaten a few days ago on a few tasty hearts, all gained through a game of cat and mouse, or really, mice. To tell the truth, Braig was feeling awfully human today. He was curious as to how this would turn out, where this would all end up... Though the Demented Shot knew little about Myde or Seed, he imagined that their conversation would be particularly fun. He inched closer to the edge and listened in, silent as the grave... well, almost.

Sol stirred in his sleep as he dreamed of his home, and running through the many forests it had. Then rolled into the wall near him and opened his eyes. "Wha?" He sat upright and looked over to Seed's bed to see if he was asleep. Only...Seed wasn't there, he was gone. "Guess he left...Wait...That means." Sol suddenly had a chance to get out of here! Well, he didn't know much about the castle, and it's layout, but Sol was sure he could get out of the castle and find his way to someplace safe.
So the wolf boy put his hoodie, gloves, and shoes back on him and ran out the door. He ran through the hallways of the large castle, trying to find his way out of here. But it was so fricking huge! How was he supposed to find his way out of here? Geez, couldn't they put up some signs in here, would make escaping this place real easier.
The werewolf ran and ran, but it felt like it was taking forever for him to find the right way to his freedom. "Come on! How big is this place!" Now he was just blindly running, running until he came into some kind of courtyard. It wouldn't be so bad, if Seed and another person were there...Wait, what?! "Oh...crap..." Sol said as he was starting to sweat as he stood there in front of Seed and the other guy who smelled like a Heartless like Seed.
"Oh, you can be so adorable sometimes," Myde remarked with a sneer, his outlined eyes narrowing partially. One of his pale hands rose up to play around with a charm hanging around his neck, each dainty digit paying special attention to the piece of jewelry. "You truly are deluded, hun. You're the one creating the illusion of distress. There's only me ... you ... and your twisted fantasies."
Myde fell silent, seemingly eternal in that state of grimace, but not quite. After a period of peace, his expression shattered and gave way to a sardonic, mischevious smile. Eventually, Myde succumbed to a fit of senseless laughter, his sense of humor perhaps not striking all the chords of those present in the courtyard.
But that was okay. As a performer, Myde entertained the ear, not the wit. Comedy eluded him.
"... how quaint," he spoke, his unfeeling eyes picking up on the sight of a young, white-furred boy standing some feet away from the pair. "You don't even have to sing these days to attract an audience. I suppose it's a bleak indication of where we're headed in the music industry. Wouldn't you say so ... Braig?"
Slitted eyes met with Mydes as the tone-deaf Heartless deflected the insult. Seed scoffed at the toying of the jewelry that the fellow Heartless seemed to fill the silence with, what was he playing at? He snapped his head away from Myde as he cooed about Seed and his "twisted fantasies", his hand clenched into a soft fist as he contemplated the idea of decking the Heartless in the face to release a bit of pent up frustration.
"You still wont detour me from him, so stop messing with my head already. Speaking of which," he jabbed Myde in the chest but before he could say another word he sensed his little wolf making his way out of his room and trying to make his way through the castle. It didn't help that Braig and an unknown person were watching him and Myde from afar.
"Damnit..." Seed cursed himself in his train-wreck of thoughts. A soft sigh passed through his lips as he turned to face Sol, who had unknowingly run straight into the people he was trying to escape from. The green-haired heartless smirked and turned towards Sol, crossed his arms and decided to be an ass.
"Well, well. Looks like the little wolf got out of his cage, and whats this? He wanted to escape? As if, you idiotic boy. Now sit..." with that an image of Seed, that only Seed himself, Sol , and possibly Braig too with his powers over space, could see appeared next to Sol and hissed into his ear.
"You really are an idiot for thinking you can get out of here. I'm trying to help you, but you chose a hell of a time to make a run for it!"[/i][/size] now this could only be heard by Seed, Sol, and again, maybe Braig.
The real Seed raised his arms and shoulders into a small shrug and said to Myde, "Myde, I doubt anyone would want to listen to your voice under any circumstance. I doubt Sol here even knows where he's at. My little pet seems to forget he's on a leash..." slitted eyes met with Sols petrified face and remained fixated on him.

Hah, looks like I decided to spy at the right time...
It seemed that someone else decided to drop in, as well. A boy, no doubt, with a tail and ears. Never in his life had he seen such traits. The man pushed the Shadow from his lap, as they'd obviously noticed him now. The Shadow went plummeting for quite a few stories until it landed on its face. Well, if it meant anything, the Demented Shot didn't mean to. Sort of. Braig came to stand, making himself more visible against the black night. He, too, came to jump down from the building, but his power over gravity came to slightly cushion the fall.
"If we're headed for the music industry, I'd imagine we'd capture many hearts... But I don't think I should be anywhere near it. I can't carry a tune." The man smirked, flashing a bit of his teeth. Myde's characteristics amused Braig. Pretty boy like him would land tons of fans if he really was in the music biz. But by the way Seed glared at the man, he was sure that the guy didn't feel the same way.
And the Demented Shot couldn't help but laugh.
He approached the three, momentarily catching a glimpse of Seed's illusion. Truthfully, the man was more focused on figuring out what, exactly, the boy was. Seed claimed that he was his pet, but Braig could see right through that. They didn't sell wolfboys at the nearest animal shelter.
"Well, well, Seed, looks like you've adopted a pet. Good job, it's better than buying from a breeder. I hope you've been walking him every day?" The Heartless adressed Seed a bit sarcastically. His mocking smile never faded. This was the best joke he'd heard all day... Seed, claiming ownership of wolfboy here as if he were a pet? Priceless.

Sol just stared at Seed and the rocker looking Heartless, boy did he screw himself bad this time. He was fine just a few seconds ago, but now, now he was in the fires belly. Here he was, a lone wolf boy, with two other powerful Heartless right in front of him. Could this day get anymore worse than it just did already?
"You really are an idiot for thinking you can get out of here. I'm trying to help you, but you chose a hell of a time to make a run for it!" Sol froze in place for a second when he noticed a second Seed right next to him. So this is what Seed meant by "See multiple hims." Guess that meant Seed could also make illusions of sorts.
And if getting scolded by his captor wasn't bad enough, his ears twitched and his nose crinkled as he picked up the smell and noises given off by another Heartless. And by the looks of this new one, he seemed to be a more powerful on than the one that was bugging Seed. "Well, well, Seed, looks like you've adopted a pet. Good job, it's better than buying from a breeder. I hope you've been walking him every day?" Pet? Sol wasn't the guy's pet! More like his little slave.
Well if he was considered to be a pet, might as well play the part of the innocent little pet. "Seed never walks me...So I decided to walk myself. Is that okay master?" Sol said with innocent puppy dog eyes as he put his hands behind his back and balanced on his heels. "Care to introduce your friends master?"
"Mmm, that's okay, Bray. I think you'd make a good manager," the delicately-featured male quipped, flaunting a casual glance at the marksman situated an indeterminate distance from the trio. Seemingly unphased by the slight pound he had receieved to the chest, Myde glared right back at Seed, raising a brow and saying nothing else.
For now, the Melody of Oblivion allowed his compatriots to exchange remarks, deciding that he could afford to avoid the spotlight for a moment. After all, it would be uncouth of him not to share the stage with his beloved allies.
"Well, well, Seed, looks like you've adopted a pet," Braig said mockingly, eliciting a grin from the devil musician. Of all the members of the twelve, Braig was more or less his favorite. A little humor lightened up an otherwise somber atmosphere. "Good job, it's better than buying from a breeder. I hope you've been walking him every day?"
"Seed never walks me ... So I decided to walk myself. Is that okay, master? Care to introduce your friends, master?"
Myde almost lost control of himself again as the wolfboy's words reached his ears, amusing him to no end. "Oh, this is just fabulous. Yes, why don't you introduce your friends, Seed?"
Seed just about lit the wolf boy on fire when he played the Slave card again. It wasn't cute, it wasn't funny, it was going to get him killed and he didn't seem to realize it. Seed gritted his teeth as he ignored Braigs and Mydes jests at Sols prattling and walked towards the wolf boy and firmly grabbed his shoulder and gave him the best smirk he could muster. With as much force as he could, Seed brought his knee to Sols groin and made sure it connected to its target. He released Sols shoulder to let the wolf fall to the ground in pain; Seed hoped there was a lot of it.
"I told you not to play that card again didn't I? DIDN'T I!?" he screamed at the wolf on the stone ground, he gave a small kick to the boys stomach for good measure. He turned back to Myde and Braig and took his original spot and decided to actually let Sol know who he just embarrassed himself to.
"Sol, since you really want to know who you were just made a fool of in their presence. This is Myde, remember, the one I said would just love to mess with you?" Seed eyed Myde out of the corners of his eyes to read any sadistic reaction the musician would have gotten out of this statement. He pointed to Braig and gave his name too,
"And this is Braig. He's second in charge around here so I'd feel pretty ashamed of how I just acted if I were you. As for the two of you..." the emerald heartless' gaze and body turned to face the two fellow XII members and he crossed his arms.
"He is not my pet, he is here to help the XII in anyway, shape, or form, and Relena has given me free reign over him. So until told otherwise, he is helping me gather forces for us and possible get information on the Organization. Not my fault he's an idiot to a fault."
Seed really didn't want to treat Sol this way but the wolf made the Heartless do it by being so stupid. It's going to be harder to convince Sol that Seed was his ally and not his enemy now. Just makes his day all the better...

Seed is awfully cute when he's mad. It's like someone took away his lollipop.
"I wouldn't be too embarrassed, wolfboy. I'll let your transgressions slide if your master won't." The Heartless turned on his heel and approached the half-wolf, half-boy. Upon closer inspection, he realized that Seed was obviously missing something huge in this pitch black world.
This boy's hair was as white as snow. His eyes were a characteristic red. The marksman stared for quite a while, looking him over. Honestly, Braig had seen his fair share of odd creatures, but he had not seen this kind of anomaly before. "Your plan sounds lovely, Seed, just absolutely on the dot except for one thing..." The yellow eyes locked onto Seed, a bit of teeth showing from a mocking grin. "If you plan on getting information from the guys across the street, you've got to enlighten me first... This wolfboy you've got here sticks out like a sore thumb. What in the worlds do you plan on doing about that, hmm?"
The man pulled on one of the wolfboy's ears, wondering if those were fake. They obviously weren't. The tail looked genuine, so Braig didn't think about even touching it. Honestly, he was rather amused by wolfboy. Really, this situation amused him in general. Seed, whether or not he wanted to admit it, had a pet who could talk just as well as Braig could. Myde was the jerk of this situation, spitting out sarcastic and mocking comments left and right. And here was the marksman, in the midst of things as they happened.
"You're a curious fellow, wolfboy. I imagine you have a name?"

Sol smiled at the group, playing the innocent little pet act as best as he could, he wasn't sure what Seed might think though, since last time he played this act Seed hated it. Then Seed walked over to the wolf and put his hand on his shoulder and gave Sol a smirk, before kneeing the poor boy in the groin with a bunch of force. Sol just winced in pain as he fell to the floor holding his injured parts, then to clutching his stomach as Seed kicked him in the gut for some reason.
"Ow..." was all Sol could muster at the moment while Seed introduced Braig and Myde, two official members of the XII. What interested Sol was that Braig was second in command and Myde...Well the way Myde looked and act, Sol could understand why Seed was peeved at him. "Nice to meet ya Braig, Myde..." the wolf boy said as he slowly got to his feet, still patting his groin to make sure it wasn't too badly hurt.
Then Braig came over and checked the young wolf. Sol just stood there and looked at him, swishing his tail as he pulled one of his ears. It felt...A bit nice to have one of his ears pulled like that, though Sol didn't know why. Then Braig asked for the wolf boy's name, guess it couldn't hurt to tell them. "Sol. Sol Callaway, it's uh...Nice to meet you Braig, Myde. Sorry for the act Seed, was just trying to have some fun." he said with a slight chuckle and scratched the back of his head, using a bit of the innocent act.
"Gee, you got up fast, hun. Are you sure you have anything down there?" Myde chided in a suggestive, soft tone, looking down upon the one named 'Sol'. None too pleased with Seed's findings, he couldn't really see the wolfish boy as an asset, let alone a pet. Shaking his head briefly, he looked over at his superior, wondering what the eyepatched heartless had to say.
But much to his displeasure, Braig seemed nowhere near as confounded as he was. Perhaps a little bit thrown off by the pet's appearance, yes - but not the least bit concerned about Seed's judgment. The Melody of Oblivion's once-cocky smile broke into a frown as he found himself looking away, trying to brush off the second-in-command's unsatisfying response.
For the moment, the beautiful, auburn-haired male mulled over his reasons for sticking around. Torment was on the manipulative musician's mind, but today, he wasn't having much luck or success in steering his target back down the path he was supposed to be set on. "Is there a reason why everyone else is gathering here today? Can't a frontman get in a few words with an unruly roadie?"
A soft, annoyed sigh escaped Seeds lips. This was turning into the quite the mid-morning clusterfuck. All he wanted to do was to sit and clear his head, but that clearly was too much to ask for in this damned Castle of Abyss. He did arch a brow at Braig when he went over to Sol and acted generally curious..or concerned...Seed couldn't tell which but this entire night was giving him a headache. He rubbed his forehead in a vain attempt to get rid of the growing pain but it was more of a reflex of agitation than a reaction of sensual pain release.
"It seems another transgression into the darkness had wiped your memory Braig, the previous you was more entertaining. I can change the appearance of anything to anything I want. It doesn't even have to be real, I can fabricate objects and even people. It's what attracted Elaues' eye to me and the original reason I was brought into the XII." his arms where crossed and his face oozing an aura of annoyance. All he wanted was to be alone right now, but clearly fate wanted him to suffer right now. Where was Leiz when the Heartless needed him?
Sols apology fell on deaf ears and he just scoffed and uncrossed his arms, went back over to the stone bench, sat down, and went back to his meditative state; still keeping in the conversation though, "Don't get to use to them Sol. You won't be around much longer if you keep acting like this. It's annoying really," the illusion Seed was still near Sol, its eyes digging into the wolf, letting him know that was still being watched through Seeds closed eyes.
A deep breath and Seed felt a little less on edge. Meditation was part of his normal training "growing" up; if it was his human training or his beginning times as a Heartless was unsure to Seed, but this always helped him calm down. Another deep breath; his mind slowing down.
"I was having trouble sleeping, a certain someone decided to invade my subconscious so I came here to relax. Not my fault you followed me here like a bitch in heat, Myde."
