In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Darkness, what a wonderful word when you think of it. So serene, uncaring, and always craving more. Darkness is the worlds only pure essence, in a matter of speaking, it will always inhabit people of malicious intent and only covets one thing and one thing only. Power, pure raw power. The darkness seeks out those wanting this raw form of power and grants it to them, only wanting one thing in return; hearts. Not too much to ask for right? That's what a certain green haired Heartless was musing in his head as the darkness called upon him to this world. It wanted something from this waterlogged planet, craving it.
"And thus the darkness calls upon us in this most auspicious of days eh Master Ansem?" Seed appeared before Ansem, kneeling with his head rested on his knee. His eyes following the Master Heartless as he paced back and forth, keeping his ever watchful eye over the doings of the Dark XII. The green haired heartless then realized he shouldn't be sitting here waiting for an order, the orders had already been given out and here he was slacking off.
"I do bring good news Master Ansem. The Organization will not pose a threat to this. As far as my knowledge goes they have all but vanished, running away for some unknown reason. Which is why I am here in person. I cannot guarantee how long this will last, but I trust we will make the most of it." Seed said with much enjoyment. His malice for the Organization would forever be the fuel for his drive. With Elaeus gone and no teacher to guide him down a path, a goal of regaining ones dignity should be more than sufficient. With this, he stood up and several clones of himself shot out and made their way towards the town.
The real Psycho himself was about to join the fray when he heard a rather familiar roar. Sounded like...a dragon. "No, it couldn't be..." Seed questioned in his thoughts as he moved his body through space to the source of the noise.
When his body materialized he found himself right in the path of who he thought was dead. Ciraph, the Black Dragon tainted by Kuja. With a chuckle he leaped into the air to escape the dragons carnage and just floated there and gave a rather smug hello.
"Ciraph? Is that you old chap? Been too long. Say, hows Kuja doing, he still wearing that ridicules outfit?" Seed remained hovering there and surveyed the damage that was riddling this soon to be forgotten world. The screams of pain, the scent of darkness, it gave Seed a pure thrill of ecstasy to see such destruction and soon sinking his teeth into it. The Heartless was about to speak when a couple stumbled into view and Seed smiled. The sick, sadistic smile of a killer who feels no remorse once the deed is done.
Floating down, Seed spoke to the couple. "My, my. Aren't you two a chipper looking couple of blokes? Wrong time for a late night stroll dont ya think?" his smile of evil still portrayed on his face. The man of the two he was talking to just scowled and lashed out at Seed, who in turn just stopped the man with a single hand covering and crushing his face.
"Now, is that anyway to behave. You're too..." Seed then flowed fire magic into the mans skin and caught his face on fire followed by his whole body. Any screams from the man would have been silenced by his vocal cords being burnt almost instantly. As he tossed the burnt body aside, the woman quivering with fear in front of him, he finished his sentence.
"Hot headed..." then he went after the woman. Her screams pierced the crisp air of the world and then fell silent, joining all the others in darkness. Its hunger still not being sated.
"Ciraph? Is that you old chap? Been too long. Say, hows Kuja doing, he still wearing that ridicules outfit?" Ciraph heard off to the side. The Black Dragon turned his head to the sound and scoffed as he saw Seed.
"I would know nothing about Kuja. I haven't seen him since he returned my arm to me," Ciraph said, turning in the opposite direction and immediately spewing a gout of black flame into a nearby building. The sudden pressure and flames inside the building made it quickly collapse. As he continued down the road, he swiped with one arm, taking down the second story of one building. Underneath, on the first floor, was a small group of humans fighting against Ansem's Dark Guardian.
"Well, well......what have I stumbled upon....?" Ciraph said, leaning down with a toothy grin across his great maw,"Fighting the Seeker of Darkness' Dark Guardian? You are a brave lot, I'll give you that.
"Not very smart, though," Ciraph said, rearing back as he took in a great break. He then exhaled, sending a great gout of flame across the entire first floor.....
(OOC: sorry you guys. xD I know you're part of Max's group, but I can't cut any quarter when RPing Ciraph. I'm sure you understand. lol. )
Ansem strode past Seed, waving away his meanderings as he walked into the town. Something on this World was lighter than the rest. And as his XII and their affiliates tore this world asunder, pillaging it of Hearts, the Seeker of Darkness sought to snuff it out, to make this world black as the night sea. He would see it done.
===
The Guardian roared at Arthas and Shiro. Those other smaller Hearts had eluded it's reach through the portal and it was not pleased at this. With a seething exhale, it stood back, arms hanging loosely, knuckles almost dragging on the ground. Staring down the two Guardians of the Worlds, it lowered it's head, bowing.
Within a burning blaze of Dark whisps, the Seeker of Darkness erupted from the ground below it, spinning upwards and hovering in the air before his servant. Staring down the bridge of his nose at them, he folded his arms over his chest, taking a deep breath in of world's air.
"Clearly you do not yet realize what it is you have stepped into," he warned, "If you did, neither of you would have come here. This World is property of the Dark XII now. Those Hearts dwelling here have been claimed. And by setting foot in The Caribbean, you now count among them."
He arced forward, rushing at them in a burst of Dark energy, the Guardian's massive arms forward as battering rams.
Ienzo plunged through the dark waters until he found what he was looking for. He slid his fingers atop the heavy chest, feeling the dirt and grit that had come to rest after three or so years of decrepit sleep. The chest itself had lost color, most likely due to the saltwater, and had begun to rot slowly, with bits and pieces of coral already finding their resting place.
How strange, Ienzo thought, that the Heart of this world would be inside of a chest. It seemed appropriate, a play on words. Did this Heart feel as humans' Hearts did? Did it have emotions coursing through it? Was the planet a living, breathing entity? Sometimes Ienzo wondered how big the worlds were, and why they didn't fight back. Perhaps the Keyblades were a creation of the Worlds themselves, in an attempt to fight off invaders. And now the Keyblades were failing.
Either way, it didn't matter. The Darkness had a way of consuming things and Ienzo could see that happening. But he had his own plans, and he wouldn't let them be stopped by even the Darkness. The chest slid open, the coins illuminated by the faint flickers of light that drifted into the dark depths. And in the center of those coins, a small illusion played, as if the coins were laying in the shape of a keyhole.
The Neoshadows stirred around him, and even Sin began to claw in the air.
Shiro, the Gravity Controller This ain’t no place for no hero, This ain’t no place for no better man, This ain’t no place for no hero, Go home, Short Change Hero ~ The Heavy
Shiro had to admit. He was quite relieved to know that Arthas had followed them. That at least gave them a better chance of surviving. Two heads were better than one, right? Once the family nodded to Arthas’s directions, the fellow Guardian asked him if it was his first mission. The answer to that wasn’t something he had to think about. ”Yeah. I find it funny how they give the newer members the harder missions,” he said with a chuckle. He wasn’t complaining or anything, he meant it in a joking way. He knew what he signed up for once he accepted Mikhail's invitation into the group.
Before the two of them could even continue the conversation, they had a heartless interrupt him. Once the eyes of the gravity controller met those of the other heartless, he knew that what was in front of them was not a simple heartless. But that didn’t mean anything. They still were going to destroy it. They still were going to save the family behind them. They had to. They just had to.
As the bolts came, Shiro dodged them almost perfectly. Sure, once in a while he’d get hit, but nothing that could cause severe damage. Anyways, what happened outside of Shiro’s body wasn’t important at the moment. In the man’s mind, he thought up of ways they could take down the beast. Many strategies came to mind, but he just had to find the perfect one before switching from defense to offense. Once Arthas yelled at him that they needed to stop the heartless, Shiro knew that the time to think was over. It was time to act.
The first thing that came to the gravity controller’s mind was to use the environment against the beast. So that was what he was going to do. Quickly, he aimed his hand at the chairs as he dodged the creature’s attacks. One after one, he sent chairs flying at the heartless at an incredible speed. Of course, the impact would cause the chair to break, which would mean one less chair to throw. Once the chairs were gone, he noticed Arthas opened up a portal for the family. The thought of the family being safe made him smile. It was nice to know that the family was no longer in harm’s way. Once the family was gone, he returned all his attention back to the battle.
But before the man could attack, another heartless joined the fight. Shiro’s eyes widened as the dark dragon talked to the two of them. So they were fighting the dark guardian of Ansem? No wonder it was so tough. He really wanted to get into a conversation with the dragon. It was a bummer that it was a heartless though. Oh well, killing the heartless would make Shiro smile. Maybe not as much as talking to a dragon, but what could he do?
Before he could strike the dragon, it endangered their lives by attacking them with fire. Shiro quickly ascended using gravity, getting him away from the flames. Once again, he was about to strike. But then he was interrupted again with another arrival. This arrival though was something the gravity controller did not like. It was Ansem.
Immediately after Ansem spoke, Shiro replied, ”And by setting foot between us and the innocent lives that reside here, you are considered a threat…” He honestly didn’t know what came over him. He was just acting brave now. ”Therefore you must be destroyed.” And with that, Shiro altered his gravity which caused him to rush towards Ansem with his sword, ready to attack. Since Ansem was rushing towards them as well, he made sure to get out of the way and rush right past him, because the impact would’ve probably hurt him more than the leader of the Dark XII.
Once stopped in mid-air, his attention then went back to Arthas. Common sense just got to him. Now even though Shiro knew the two of them were strong, they were still not strong enough to take out some of the strongest heartless that ever existed. But maybe they were strong enough to at least seriously injure two of them. Which one did he want to injure the most? Well that was an easy one. It was time to get Ansem weak for a later confrontation. ”Arthas, how ‘bout we split the load. You take on Mr. Dragon over there and I’ll take on Ansem over here,” the man yelled at his team mate. ”Well, unless you have any other ideas.” Shiro though did not wait for a response from Arthas, since he was currently facing THE leader of the Dark XII.

A shield of air managed to deflect a lot of the fire sent at him by the dragon, and the arrival of the Dark XII's leader unnerved him even more. As Shiro offered to take on Ansem, Arthas nodded and faced the dragon, the card around his neck glowing, ready to cast spells. With a mental command, greedy flames enveloped his katana, and a steely look was leveled at the dragon-Heartless. Since the roof had been broken, getting to it by foot would be hard. So, he opened a portal below him and fell through, reappearing above the dragon. As he dropped through the air and passed the dragon, he swung at its rear leg, then opened another portal to a nearby roof.
"Your unwanted presence has gone on for too long!" he yelled.
Ciraph chuckled, a low rumbling noise that came from beneath rows of sharp teeth bared in a grin, at the young one's words. So, these little urchins thought they could actually stop Lord Ansem? They wouldn't stand a chance against even the lesser of the Dark XII, to say nothing of their leader. Even Ciraph was too much for them to handle.
"Lord Ansem, please, go about your business. I will deal with these insects for you...," Ciraph said, sweeping his spiked tail back and forth,"They should prove to be rather.....entertaining...."
Before he could do anything, though, the one that was facing him disappeared through a sort of portal in the floor, and the next thing Ciraph knew, he felt a sharp pain in one of his rear legs. He let out a low growl as he turned to look, looking just in time to see the pest disappear inside another portal. Though his scales hadn't been pierced by the blade, the blow had hurt. This little insect had a few tricks up his sleeve. It still wouldn't help though. Ciraph was going to destroy this little one where he stood.
"Your unwanted presence has gone on for too long!" The little human yelled.
In response, Ciraph belched a huge, continuous gout of Blackfire at the boy. He kept the blaze going and burning as he moved up to the roof he was standing on. Then, with the flames still burning around the boy, Ciraph reached up and demolished the roof beneath his feet. The Black Dragon would like to see him survive that.....
In a flash, Ienzo brought down the blunt of his blade towards the dragon's head. His silver eyes gleamed as he looked to Ansem, only a few yards off. His silver eyes teemed with life. Not caring whether he seriously injured the beast or not, he made to push the creature beside, his arm coated in seething shadows. The Heart... Was taken.
A gleaming white orb shined amidst the Darkness that coated his flesh. To be shared with his family. Not that imbecilic Dragon, of course... Psh, the creature wasn't human to begin with, and he had lost what form he deemed necessary to be important in his transformation. The Dark XII would be the only ones feasting tonight.
"Back off, Ciraph. You've goofed around and had your fun while I worked," he seethed, his eyes on the dragon, his mind on the enemies. The black cloak funneled around him, hiding his face. The enemy wouldn't be able to identify him in any way, his scent hidden in thick Darkness. "It's my turn now."
And indeed it was. Sin ripped out of his chest, the dark sword tying itself to his arm, and its bulbous eye fixated on the enemies in front of him. The house around them was crumbling... And Ansem was watching Ienzo perform. He lunged forward with his blade, the shadows on his arm solidifying into a shield.
A simple portal was all it took to dodge the fire attack, yet Arthas cringed as the family living inside it were consumed by the flames. However, he began to worry as another entity pushed the dragon out of the way. Something inside Arthas spiked, and he smelled the scent of darkness around him. His own responded, and he drooped a little bit as he pushed it back.
He then altered his stance, his katana acting as a protector between him and the new entity. "Oh man..." he whispered, waiting for the other to make a move.

( Alright the flag >> I mean hearts been captured...prepare for World Demolition...PEEPS Get your posts in...caaause this baby gonna BLLOOOW)
Laughter cackled throughout the town which was ablazed in flames. Arlene was walking through the carnage with a humming tune, but she stopped. Bright eyes scattered around skeptically feeling offness, then her senses pounded feeling the power rippling from the heart of the world as it was taken from its safe haven.
Lightening charged around her as she darted on the burning roofs with her nose seeking out the top dog of this operation. Ignoring the weaker dark signals sparked by the shadows, she found him efficiently. Short cutting, the fabrics of the world ripped revealing the realm of darkness; she walked in one way and came out behind him.
"There's a shift now," she didn't have to ask he could feel the presence of the heart, "do you have it?"
If he did, then there would be no reason to wait. The world would become rubble spacing through space; many hearts have been snatched; regardless of their purity and strength, they all added up, and the heart of the world was the main course. If they have the main course, why sit around for the less filling desserts when they pigged out?
Ansem floated backwards, waving his hand to signal his dark army forwards. He would not waste his time with these peons of the Light realm. With a glare over his shoulder, the Dark Guardian growled with displeasure, and vanished back to it's hole through a dark doorway. The Guardians were far too late now anyway. And they would find their end alongside the World the fought for.
"This World's Heart is now property of the Dark XII, he growled, "This world and it's vast waters, it's dark sailors, corrupted Hearts everyone of them. Every single citizen in this township.
He grinned broadly, "Finish them, my Heartless. Now. And let us be rid of this dank world. We have much other work to do."
He turned to make his leave... then stopped. "Or."
He turned his head over his shoulder and looked back as his amassed Dark XII, "Or better yet... take them. So we can make them Heartless' as well, and turn them against the worlds they fight for."
Honestly, Shiro had his hopes up, thinking that they were going to do some serious damage on the Dark XII. But that goal was much farther away from him than he thought. First, another member of the Dark XII stepped in and basically let Ansem get away. The gravity controller did consider going after Ansem, since he did not want to waste his time on one of his minions. A minion could be injured, but it wouldn’t affect the outcome of the battle of course. Only damage dealt to the leader would possibly change the outcome. Before Shiro could even start the chase, Ansem said something to the Dark XII which definitely changed the outcome of the battle. To be more specific, it changed the outcome in their favor. Knowing that more heartless, stronger heartless, would show up soon, he decided that it was time to get the hell out of there. He really didn’t want to do that, but he had no choice. It was a do or die situation.
”Arthas, let’s get the hell out of here!” the man yelled. They saved one family at least, so he wouldn’t feel that bad when they would leave, but knowing that other families who fought for their loved ones that night wouldn’t be saved hurt him. It really did.
Ienzo stopped as the two, this Arthas and his mysterious friend, stepped back for the portal. The man in black cloth threw his offensive stance and was engulfed in Darkness as he disappeared in an attempt to escape the World.
He had the Heart for Ansem. Now it was time to get it home.
And he didn't want to end up making a mistake by staying here any longer. The End of the World was quite a ways away from The World That Never Was, and Ienzo couldn't be sure he could escape safely. The man in black disappeared, leaving absolutely nothing behind. No scent, no hair, nothing but the memory of a dark figure. Perfect... They wouldn't be able to identify him later.
