In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Powers: Shockjaw has a small amount of metal on his body that he can manipulate into different things. He can form blades, extend his claws, and other such things.
Zytanha’s Sight--Shockjaw can turn this ability on and off. This allows him to see weak points in structures and defenses. This includes pressure points and weak points in enemies bodies.
Sonic Blast--This is where Shockjaw's name came from. Shockjaw’s vocal cords are adapted to produce sounds at very extreme frequencies and amplitudes. At high frequencies, the sounds throw off people’s balance and their equilibriums. At lower frequencies, they produce concussive forces.
Trained Hearing--Shockjaw can where people are, identify them, and estimate room sizes and shapes.
Physical Ability--As is normal among his race, he has some extraordinary physical abilities. The most impressive is likely the strength and speed of his tail. Rat tails make very effective whips and will rip through some armors with a good crack and they can easily crush most armor if they get it in their grip. The second most notable trait would be his running speed. He can keep a speed upwards of 100 mph for several minutes with a passenger before getting tired.
Weapon: Teeth and claws
Picture: Not likely to come any time soon
Appearance: The first thing to clear up in order to properly describe Shockjaw, is to point out that he is a rat. Standing, the top of his head is about nine feet off the ground, meaning that, from his nose to the tip of his tail, he is about 30 feet long, with half of that being his tail. His fur is grey and his eyes are black. He has plenty of scars covering his body and one right across his right eye. Fur no longer grows over any of the scars and his left ear is cut almost completely in half. He can form an eyepiece over his right eye that has a red lens and a metal piece that fits around his ear. This eyepiece lets him tell if people have good hearts.
Personality: Shockjaw is a big-picture person. He always tries to make things work for everyone, even if it means stepping on a few toes, or even killing a few people. He is very cunning and will use it to his advantage. If he needs something from someone, he won’t be afraid to lie to get it, though he rarely does. If he does lie to someone, though, he’ll always be prepared to deal with the consequences. He often acts very lazy, gluttonous, and violent, constantly teasing other people. This is really just an act. He quickly befriends people that can see past his act and into the teddy bear in his heart, but he is very rough with people that can’t see past his act. Due to going through a lot of crap in his life, he often knows how to help people with their problems. He often threatens to eat people, and nobody’s ever quite sure if he’s serious or not. He immediately loves anyone that gives him food and especially if it’s good food.
Original World: Anhnyqueg (underground) Current World: Summon Gem-ness
History:
Shockjaw was born in one of the outer rat “cities.” City wouldn’t be an accurate description of these places, and town wouldn’t be right, either. They were more like giant rat’s nests made of whatever they could drag from the Wilderness without getting killed. Food was often scarce and there were raids about every other week. The raids had nothing to do with food, as was obvious by the lack thereof in the nest, but were all about killing rats. He was taught that the humans caused all the problems that the Tyga faced from day to day, and that idea was easily enforced by the constant deaths that were caused by the raids. It seemed obvious that the humans were destroying their already-horrible lives. There were many times that they had so little food that they had to eat the rats that had been killed in the raids. Everyone in the nest was used to the cannibalism.
Being one of the larger rats, he was almost as big as many of the full-grown adults by the time he was 8 and was forced to fight whenever the raids happened. He quickly discovered the Zytanha’s Sight. At first, it seemed helpful and really cool, but he quickly discovered the dangers of the ability. A couple of years later, the Zytanha’s Sight activated during a game and he accidentally killed several rats, even starting to eat them before he realized what had happened. He was quickly banished to the Wilderness. The hope was that he would die there. He got lucky for a few weeks, but there was no way he could make it much longer. He had already nearly gotten eaten by the different plants and animals there several times and accumulated several of the scars on his body. He was getting tired and his body had taken a good beating. He could barely move, but he felt like he should, so he started walking. He didn’t really pay any attention to where he was going. Suddenly, he felt something cold under his paws, and collapsed there. He felt something moving up his body, but he just fell unconscious. When he woke up, he had knowledge and memories that he had never learned. He could see the war from both sides and realized just how stupid the whole thing was. He also knew what plants were good for food and which ones would try to eat him.
He devoted his time to getting stronger, trying to figure out what he was going to do to end the fighting. After five years of this, he came into contact with the Rizarnall, again. This time, it offered him new strength and a chance to do something with it. He took the chance, even after being told that he was going to have to fight against and be hated by both sides. After that, he waited for battles to break out and he would go in and break them up. He killed many people on both sides and talked to the leaders several times. He befriended Darius, who taught Shockjaw how to read. Over the years, the battles came less and the raids became fewer. During this short period of peace, Saxen arrived in Voqueg. Shockjaw became less active as Saxen became more so. His responsibility became keeping Saxen alive. Until, that is, the Heartless came and Saxen left. He spent his time fighting the Heartless until Saxen came back and he met V, Shira, and Shiro. Shortly after they left, his world was destroyed, turning him into a summon gem.
