In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

OK, this is part serious and part fun. Xemnas and the Organization have their own style of Dark Corridors, no? They don't have to step out of them or anything... And it just makes for a better entrance. So... Should the Dark XII have a uniform style of Dark Corridor?
Sample: Here~ Feel free to post ideas/links to pictures/videos with your answer.
Other members may submit votes, but be serious about this. I dun want answer #3 as a majority just cause you think it's funny.

Well, the corridors of Darkness that the Orgy use are the same Corridors of Darkness that the Dark XII uses, the cloaks that the Orgy use are the only reason they're able to use them (they mask the fact that they're Nobodies to all the Heartless/Darkness that is in the Corridors. So, really I suppose it's just a question of personal preference. Sometimes Even will make something like that in the video you supplied, or, sometimes I'll have him just step out of a natural shadow that was made wherever he is. Like I said, personal preference really. XD
Both Nobodies and Heartless are able to use corridors of Darkness. The Dark corridors are the exact same thing. Both can either step into/out of them, or have them form around their persons. Maybe I'm not understanding what you're asking.
If I understood correctly, he's asking about how the Dark XII members use them. As in if we should have some uniform way for the Dark XII to enter/exit, as the Orgy does with the Corridors forming around their person, such as in the video.

o-o Shun is not here.
Actually the black cloak -3- was because Master Xehanort use to wear them...and he rememebered D: aaand added it to the ORgie...also it's to go undetected... >> no wonder why no one saw them in KH1 *le gasp*
._. Since they lack hearts, they are unaffected by darkness; they can naturally access the dark corridors. If they fear it so...and it was a death wish >> they wouldn't be able to open it.

I could have swore it was because the cloaks made the darkness almost ignore their presence....Hmm. I may be mistaken/misread it.
My opinion of the dark corridor is that the way people enter does not make a difference to the use.
Stepping in/out or just vanishing in or away, is all about placement. vanishing in should be saved for the most epic moments, but it really is to preference. I like the vanishing in with dark fire sparks, but maybe this dark teleportation magic reacts to people's power, like Axel getting a fiery look to his portals, or Ansem getting a really large one. It shouldn't really matter at all.
I personally like uniform ideas, so my vote is yes.

Seed is more correct. The robes mask the presence of those who do not belong in Darkness and protect them from it's corruptive influences. This was the reasoning DiZ game to Mickey and Riku when presenting them with their own robes.
Additionally, if logic in the KH series holds up, Nobodies cannot "naturally" access Dark Corridors. They don't hold the power to, lacking a Heart and/or power over the element. If anything, it's likely attributed to the fact that in order to become Nobodies, they had to first become a Heartless through losing their Hearts to Darkness, therefore the power of Darkness is inherent through them and that transformation, not simply because they are Nobodies.

-3- but doesn't that proves...they get it simply because they ARE nobodies...because to even BE a nobody they HAVE to go through the transformation. XD That relationship defines all Nobodies...so cha...they get it because they ARE nobodies. There haven't been a Nobody that never had a heartless to say otherwise.
I am with Seed and Rook. The cloaks hide the wearer from what lurks in the Realm of Darkness. They most likely also protect Hearts from being corrupted from so much contact with darkness. However, there is reason to believe that they are worn more for long-term protection for those who spend a while in the Realm, for Kairi and Namine were able to traverse the corridors without the cloaks for short periods of time.
Also, I believe that Nobodies, unless they can channel darkness like Riku can (which for all I know they can't, having no Heart to be previously corrupted, unless they wield the element itself) cannot call upon the Dark Corridors on their own. Either the cloaks are the reason they can (which can't be true, because Namine conjures them without a cloak), or all Nobodies are capable of it due to their relations to Heartless, or. . . there is some explanation we have not yet figure out. xD

Okay... I dun know how this turned into a plothole (or whatever it's considered) discussion thread, but... Could someone else actually vote?
On that topic, though... It's true for all Nobodies. How else could the lesser Nobodies pop out of nowhere? I'm not sure if it's because of what Zephy explained about their connections to Heartless, but it can't just be for the higher-ups. The Cloaks have little to do with being able to use them.

Ansem's portal is AWESOME. *plus 1000000000 karma* As far as that goes, Braig prefers to melt in and out of shadows. He uses CoDs mainly for inter-world travel and of course, for dramatic effect xD I do think Dark XII members should have their own CoD forms similar to Ansem's, maybe with their own effects, ie, Braig's CoD being more blurry, Lea's giving off sparks of dark flame, etc.
