In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It was a silent evening by Sunset Terrace, and the streets were mostly cleared. The orange skies had gained a deep red color to them, and it was only a matter of time till night hit the town. The street poles would soon lit up, and most establishments would close while the majority towns inhabitants would presumably seal themselves in their homes. At least till the night passed, and the sun rose once more in the morning.
Departing from her home at the Twilight Cafe, Makoto wore her bodysuit and took the train to get to the heart of the city. Anxious to further explore the town of her childhood, she ignored the impending darkness and moved forward unhindered. Her crystal shining with a reddish-glow as the train engine started and the trip began. Taking a seat rather passively, she turned her head towards the window and looked up towards the sky. “I hope they're doing all right up there without me.” She stated.
After a moderately long trip, she arrived at the train station and took whatever luggage she brought along with her. Dusk had barely arrived at the heart of the town, and things were still pretty active. Things were still being bought, people were still engaged in conversation and the heartless in conjunction with the nobodies still lingered on and about. Feasting on the hearts of those who strayed from the bigger packs of people.
Eventually, the heartless and the nobody would come after her. That was her plan after all, but till then she walked down the hill and into familiar territory. Her thoughts lingering in doubt, as she walked down the familiar streets in cheer. Night wouldn't fall for a while after all.

Seifer was minding his own business doing whatever. He walked down to the sandlot to practice with the struggle bat for a little. He always did enjoy practice. Once he started to feel moderately tired from practice, though he headed back to his place to grab something to drink. He let out a sigh as he drank some water.
"Nothing like practice," he said with a smile.
Seifer thought about what else he would want to do on this day. He thought, and then decided to do the only thing to do walk around Twilight Town a little. So, he walked out of his place first deciding to head up to Station Plaza. The Plaza was always a nice place always filled with the trains and such. Of course though, he still preferred the sandlot. He continued to walk thinking of what he would do there. Probably nothing and then he would just scuttle around Twilight Town. On his way up he noticed the sun was starting to set. Dusk was always a nice time of the day. It always cast an eerie glow that Seifer liked. So, he stopped for a moment to stare at the sun before continuing to Station Plaza.
On his way up to Station Plaza Seifer noticed someone he had never seen before. It was a girl in a bodysuit. Perhaps she lived at somewhere else in Twilight Town, but at the same time she could be someone from who knows where. So, Seifer approached the girl.
"Hey you," he said pointing to the girl and then asking, "I've never seen you around he before. Are you new or are you an outsider?"
Seifer wondered how the girl would reply, but while waiting he crossed his arms over his chest.

Blankly stared at the horizon with her hands above the railing, till she heard a not-so familiar voice call her out. Slowly turning her head towards the voice, the gears inside her head began to turn and she searched her memories to see to whom the voice belonged. Thankfully for Seifer, her mind wasn't quite that sharp yet. But her eyes were, and she quickly climbed her eyes up and down his figure before she pronounced a word nor sound.
"Neither. I used to live here three years ago, lived with my Dad who owns the Twilight Cafe. Recently got back after I was gone for three years, cause of an accident I had when I was in the woods." She answered plainly, hinting not a bit of doubt in her words.
"Maybe this will help you remember. I used to use my powers all the time before." She commented. Taking her right arm off the reiling, she swayed her hand in Seifers direction and drew in her middle and index fingers in a sort of hand gesture.
Though the hand gesture itself seemed to held some power to it, as the Mailing Box that rested close to the Train Station gained lift. Floating in the air without any assistance, while moving itself towards Makoto's body at a managable speed.
So the girl used to live here, but what was this Twilight Cafe. Seifer had never seen the place. Perhaps it was somewhere in Twilight Town where Seifer never goes to. Though, what was this accident in the woods. Seymour assumed the woods were the woods before the abandoned mansion.
Seifer then continued to watch as the girl swayed her hand, making finger gestures. He then watched the mailbox rise off of the ground. The trick impressed Seifer only slightly, but it didn't help Seifer remember who the girl was. Well, of course, he now knew the girl was a magic user but her origin was still unclear to Seifer.
"Sorry, but no that didn't help me remember you. In fact I don't even know of this Twilight Cafe you speak of," Seifer said walking over to a wall to lean on while asking, "What part of the town is your dad's Twilight Cafe at?"
Seifer tried his best to think if ever saw this girl or her dad's shop, but he couldn't think of any point in his life were he saw this girl, and Seifer usually remembered those who had special abilities like this girl.

"It's by Sunset Terrace, near the ocean. It's famous for it's special cakes, which some costumers comment 'Are to die for'. Most of it's workers are dressed like maids, no thanks to me." She replied in a more joyous tone, followed by a small laugh.
Turning her body around to fully face Seifer, she hopped on the railing and sat more comfortably with her legs crossed. She looked at Seifer rather comfortably, despite the fact that she mostly heard of a boy with a description similiar to his. But then again, she always was very friendly.
"Maybe it's the hair. I just finished dying my hair black and white yesterday. Back when I lived here when I was nine, I didn't dare to change it's color, so it was always blue and yellow. I won't blame you if you don't remember me"
Flicking her fingers back, the Postoffice Box flew back to where it belonged. Meanwhile, trouble began to stur in the roof tops and a chilly wind passed by the Plaza.
So the restaurant is in Sunset Terrance, and it also sells cakes. No wonder Seifer had never heard of it. Was the workers being dressed like maids, really an important detail though? Who knows.
"Well I'm not a cake guy," Seifer told the girl who had now hopped on the railings.
Seifer looked up at the girl. The girl's face seemed content. Well that's good I guess, Seifer thought. He continued to listen to the girl as she continued to try and make Seifer remember who she was. He looked at her face and he still did not recognize the girl.
"Yeah I'm pretty sure I just have never seen you," Seifer said. People and there trying to make Seifer remember them.
"So, what is your name?" Seifer asked. If the girl lived here he would want to know her name.
Seifer did feel a chilly pass, but he guessed it was nothing major. He then stared up at the sky while he awaited the girl's name.

"Makoto Melhaur, Nurse of Squa..." Makoto replied in an instant after she was asked. Responding with the tone and gruff of a soldier before she realized what she almost said, and laughed it off. A bit startled by what she said, three sweat drops formed by her neck. Pulling her right arm back, she scratched her hair and smiled.
"I'll be staying in Twilight Town for a while, and I won't just be stuck at the shop. I want to see what I've missed in the past three years, maybe see if I come across anyone that can fight or if I can learn anything new from someone." She explained in ellaborate, her joyous tone fashing not once while she clamored her plans.
Not one to turn her attention away when she was talking to someone, she kept her eyes locked unto Seifer. Even if she had a bad feeling in her stomach that something nasty came her way. Thankfully for her, she packed her energy pistol with her, and wore them on her back while these seemed to meld into her suit.
"I don't really blame you for never seeing me. But what about you, what's your name and story?"
Seifer listened as the girl began to say her name. So, her name was Makoto Malhaur, but then she stopped as she was saying something else. Makoto was holding something from Seifer, and he didn't like that, but he wouldn't make a scene about it yet. Whatever she was holding back she was nervous about which Seifer could tell just by how she nonchalantly laughed randomly and then proceeded to scratch the back of her neck.
Then, Makoto proceeded to say that she was going to be here for awhile. What has happened in the past three years here, Seifer thought for a moment. Truthfully not much to him at least. He then looked at the girl again noticing she was fixated on him. Well, at least he wasn't being ignored.
"My name is Seifer most know me as the leader of the Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee," Seifer said responding to the Makoto's question, "my story though is I have lived here all my life and some time down the line me and my friends started an organization to keep the town safe."
That was a fair enough answer for Makoto. Seifer though, kept his stern look on his face even with Makoto's happy tone of voice.

Makoto pulled her head back after she heard Seifers answer to 'What was his story' and carefully pondered his response. Thinking back to when she was younger, before she wound up in space and actively fought the Nobodies and Heartless to kill time. "Does this kid really protect the town from them? They still seem active, I saw a few of them on the way here." Makoto thought to herself in silence. Her expression not giving any hints unto her thoughts, as she pulled her head forward.
"Are you sure that Discipline's the proper way to deal with the Heartless? Doesn't seem all that efficient to be honest, or does the town just see it's fair share of bandits" She asked in a surprisingly lax tone. Admitedly, she could have played her words in a joyous tone that had not a single fragment of seriousness to it, but she was serious about the question and showed a bit of that in her tone.
Giving Seifer a chance to respond to her question, she raised her left leg and held it over her lap. For the first time, she turned her head away from Seifer and looked at her leg. Which aside from being covered by the bodysuit, seemed perfectly healthy and fine. But it resonated with a silver/ruby color. She then resumed giving Seifer her attention.
"You know, I used to work on keeping the town safe too when I was around.I brandished my sword everyday and went into the forest to look for enemies to fight every afternoon after school. But then I got cornered, and whoops a daisy, next thing I know I'm working as a Nurse somewhere far and distant from Twilight Town. Up North if I remember right."
Seifer was unamused as the girl spoke in her lax tone about the committee. Well of course the committee kept things in check. They kept away the outsiders that would only bring trouble. But, what were those heartless that Makoto was talking about. Perhaps they were the dark outsiders that have been plaguing the town.
"Well you see we deal with these Heartless as you put them in the way we see fit," Seifer said slamming his fist into his other hand, "If we can resolve trouble peacefully from the people who cause the trouble we will, but if they choose to be resistant we will use force."
Seifer leaned back against the wall a bit more making himself more comfortable. He reverted his gave over to Makoto again, who was looking away from Seifer for the moment.
"Those Heartless also as you put them though do cause a lot of trouble and my committee and I try our best to deal with them which is always by force, for they never seem to comply with us," Seifer said looking up at the sky. It was getting darker now, but light was still filling Twilight Town.
Seifer turned his head again to face Makoto as she started to speak again. So she helped defend Twilight Town also. That was good it was always good to see someone else who trys to keep order in the town.
"I see, it is good to see someone else who wants to keep stability in Twilight Town, "Seifer said still keeping his gaze on Makoto.

"Typical, the heartless are always so reliant to stop causing trouble, and simply leave. It's no use trying to get them to leave peacefully. That is, unless they stand out more than one way. Only thing worse than them, is a Nobody. Their white-colored cousins." Makoto replied. Giving a not-so-subtle hint and name to the creatures that rampaged around the town, in a very casual maner. Almost as if she'd gotten comfortable enough with Seifer to trust him with that basic piece of info.
Turning her pupils upwards, she noticed that one of the streetlamps around the plaza lit up. "So, It's only a matter if time..." In the distance, the sound of stomping and slashing could be heard. Though barely noticeable from the plaza, they were coming and it wasn't just four or five of them.
"Yeah. I wanted to keep the people safe from them, certainly didn't seem like anyone was dealing with them at the time I did. But then again... they were scarce to find, so doubt anyone really knew about them. Though to be perfectly honest, keeping Twilight Town safe was just one of my reasons. My other reason was that I simply weapon wanted to get some practice done." Makoto stated truthfully, slightly regretting her choice to not bring her Crystal Sword along to show off her ability. Slightly hesitant to show off her guns, she continued to keep them hidden within her outfit.
"You know, they really like to come out at dusk and night. Are you sure you wanna continue talking, or do you want to go home now while there's still sunlight? I'll be staying here for a while you know before I head for the bar, I have a score or two to settle."
Seifer finally turned away from Makoto as she started to speak again. She also fought monsters for practice not just to help the town. Seifer stopped leaning against the wall and then stood straight up.
"Fighting pothers is a good way to practice, and practice is very good perhaps sometime sooner or later we could have a friendly street brawl for a little bit of extra practice," Seifer said taking out his struggle bat which was strapped to his side.
Was Makoto really worried about Seifer, or perhaps she just wanted to stop talking. Seifer wasn't afraid though, of wimpy monsters, and with that thought Seifer started to chuckle a little.
"Why would I want to go home. I'm a not a boy, and I can handle myself," Seifer said still chuckling, "perhaps you just want to get rid of me."
Seifer finally calmed himself down before pointing his struggle bat at Makoto, "As I said before if anyone messes with me I will mess with them whether they are those Heartless of yours or those nobodies that you spoke of."
Seifer then lowered his bat to the ground, where he started to lean on it.

Makoto rolled her eyes down to Seifers Bat, which he had for some reason or another strapped to his side. Raising an eyebrow, she observed the question carefully in a matter of miliseconds. Quickly coming to terms with the fact that it wasn't a toy, but a weapon. Obviously she had struck a nerve without realising it, not that she cared.
"I'll write that on your chart if you can't back up your words when the strong ones show up. Cause I've seen too many people to count, wind up hurt cause of those words." Makoto exclaimed with a straight face. Her words coming off with a little bit of sarcasm, as she expressed her ideas.
"I hope that for your sake, your confidence is well earned and that strength isn't just for show. I was only being nice by warning you. Wouldn't want someone to die cause I didn't warn them of what dangers would come. Cause from the sounds of it, it looks like they'll be coming here at force. Think that little bat of yours will be enough?" She asked once more rather strongly. Not a hint of weakness present in her tone.
Reaching for her back, she wrapped her fingers around two invisible objects and brought them forward for Seifer to see. Hence the two objects reacted to the physical motion, and became visible for all to see. Revealing themselves to be two fairly high-quality relatively large pistols with more built-in features that one would believe. Coaxing them around her hands, Makoto began to do some minor maintence on them while she heard Seifer out.
"Don't ask where I got these cause I don't really know. I just got them as gifts at my last birthday party, didn't ask where they were bought. I also never got a chance to use them. Even thought if I did take classes on how to use em'. To be honest, I plan on hiding them after I'm done here. I plan to go get a few drinks down at a bar after I'm finished here. If you want to come along, you can. Not so sure if they'll let you in though."

Seifer raised his hands in shrugging way. Yeah right I'll get hurt, he thought quite confident about his fighting skills. Makoto didn't seem so though. She would find out later on Seifer is capable of fending for himself. He wondered though about Makoto. She seemed to be getting not angry, but mor of sarcastic with a straight face at Seifer, and she seemed to not want him to get hurt. He wouldn't though.
Seifer then observed the two gun looking objects Makoto brought out. He had seen guns before but those who different. He listened as Makoto explained them. 'Don't ask me where I got these, I got them as gifts at my last birthday,' Seifer's eye twitched slightly at that statement. She had said don't ask where she got them, but then she tells Seifer right out where she got them. What was this bar Makoto was talking about.
"What bar?" Seifer asked not quite sure what bar she was talking about, "Is it the twilight Cafe that you were talking about?"
Makoto somewhat confused Seifer with her personality changes. First she was happy go lucky. Then she got all nervous, and then she was all serious until now where she is all casual again. Seifer just shook his head at that.

(Thanks for making me realize that I needed to edit my past post. Obviously my ideas weren't transmited as well as they should have. Namely in the aspect that she wasn't getting angry)
"You never heard of a Bar? I figured you'd be old enough to know where they are or what they are. Go figure, but anyway, I don't know which one in specific I'll go to. So... I'll just walk into the first one I see, and try to have a good time. Secondly, my Dad's place just sells cakes, sweets, drinks, lunch and a few other things. No beer or alcohol though." She answered, her tone remaining neutral while she busied herself with doing maintenance on her guns.
It was only a matter of time before they showed up. It was quickly getting dark, and the orange sky had turned a dark crimmson. With the sun almost completely sunk into the ocean, while more and more streetlamps turned on. Shops had started to close down, and other bussiness picked up.
Pulling her arms back, she started to do some minor stretching exercises and got her bloodflow running. Nimbling up her muscles and joints, while her crystal body did the rest. But it wasn't only her body that she performed some minor exercises with, as a variety of objects that lingered in the plaza drew themselves towards her at surprisingly high speeds. Namely a few random pieces of junk brought over to the station that was intented to be recycled. A fate that these wouldn't serve, as these were lifted into the air and floated around whilst performing random maneuvers.
"Since you're so set on sticking around, what about we talk about something else? Maybe Disciplinary Committee, any new moves you learned or anything interesting that you came across lately?"
