In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Powers: Specializes in Time Magic. Limited to only being able to use the effect of any spell for 4-5 posts (varies depending on spell and strength of the cast). Additionally cannot be used during a lightning or thunder storm (electricity interferes with the casting) and cannot use magic in "timeless" zones (areas inwhich time is stopped or in the past i.e Timeless River). Generally spells will work as long as Greg can see the enemy or ally he wishes to cast the spell on. He cannot double cast nor can he fire spells off in succession (with exception to spells stored in rapier). He must wait a few seconds before using another spell.
Haste: Speed up self or allies (5 posts). Slow: slow down enemies (3 posts). Stop: Stop enemies (2 posts). Sight: able to see into any moment in time, but must be at the location in order to cast the spell (anywhere from 3 months to a year into the past or future). Spell can not be used in battle as it requires deep concentration and Greg must be stationary.
Weapon: Two weapons (cannot use at the same time). A long range pistol and a short range rapier.
Clock Pistol: A rotating revolver made of clockwork. AThe gun is metallic silver and has a brass handle. The gun is inscribed with fanciful swirls in the handle and the barrel of the gun. The inner workings are made of gears. Whenever the gun goes off there is an audible *click* sound from all the gears rotatin inside. The gun uses special silver bullets that can store magic spells (ie put haste into a bullet and the target will age rapidly). When the bullet is enchanted the power of the spell becomes twice as strong. Limited ammo as it requires a special method of metallurgy. Greg carries at least one extra round of these bullets on him (gun holds up to 15 bullets therefore an extra 15 are carried on him). The pistol itself can shoot up to 100 feet away and is a machine pistol. This means it automatically reloads itself until the magazine is empty of ammo. The gun can fire normal bullets.
Star-Crusted Rapier: A medium sized sword with a thin silver blade and a gold hilt inlaid with sweeping curves signifying stardust (hence the name). Similiar to the Clock Pistol, the rapier can store magical spells. Unlike the Pistol the rapier does not activate these spells but rather stores them for later use. This allows Greg to draw upon these spells in a pinch. To elaborate, if Greg stores 10 haste spells, 2 stop spells, and 3 slow spells he can use them at any time after they are stored inside the blade even if he does not possess anymore magical ability. The downside of this is that if anyone got a hold of the sword they too could use the pent up spells.

Appearance: Greg is about 6'1" and weighs in at 178 pounds. He is fit, but not super muscular. He has chestnut brown hair that is cropped short to his head and it is always spiky. He has blue eyes and sports a scruffy chin beard. He has a small scar above his right eye and a larger one across his chest. He has a black tattoo that covers his left arm and upper torso. It is an abstraction of a Raven holding a clock tied to a chain in a swirls motif. Left eyebrow is pierced with a silver stud.
His street clothes are a jet black fedora, a longsleeved gold, and russet brown striped dress shirt with cuffs, black dress pants, black dress shoes, and white gloves. He also has a crimson bow tie, a black vest, a plain black belt, and a silver stud in his right ear. He only ever changes his wardrobe when he is undercover and visiting the Tropics (floral print shirt with khakis anyone?).
Personality: Greg is normally uncaring of any situation around him as he believes that bad things will simply happen (because of the death of his mother) and nothing can be done about it. This changed, however, after his sister's and father's death as he had found two goals in his life. Rediscovering the spell "rewind" and hunting down heartless.
He likes spicy food, gambling, birds, and guns. He dislikes dogs, annoying people, and bitter things. He hates everything that has to do with Heartless. He is incrediably skilled at shooting, games, cards, and cooking. He is terrible at any artistic endeavours, and is dreadful at dealing with overly emotional people. He is talented with machines as he has naturally perfect tempo (able to hear the inner *ticks* of a mechanism). He acts weird around disabled people as it reminds him of his father, and he is afraid of losing his heart to darkness. That and chili peppers as he had a bad experience with one when visiting Oakey Oaks. In harsh situations he keeps his focus and adapts quickly to the situation.
Original World: Cherry Tree Lane Current World: Traverse Town
History: Greg was born into on Cherry Tree Lane. His father, Basil Lorett, was a mechanical engineer, and his mother, Jane Lorett, was a stay at home mother. They were well off living in a mid sized home, but in no way were they rich. When Greg was 4 years old his baby sister, Angela, was born. As the years went by they all lived happily. Greg doted over his sister and helped her in anyway she needed. At the age of 9, Greg went through his first tragedy; his father while working on a project had his legs crushed by steel pipes. The doctors did their best, but Greg's father was never to work or walk again.
Because Basil Lorett was unable to work the roles shared between Basil and Jane were reversed. Basil stayed at home becoming a stay at home dad, and Jane went to work as a housekeeper. To meet the bills Jane worked excessively and because of this fell ill. This killed Jane Lorett. Greg was 14 at the time.
By this moment the family was in disarray. Basil Lorett found a job as an accountant, despite his disability, and tried to raise his children as best he could. Greg, age 16 took a part time job on top of school to help pay the bills. Angela, age 13, also took on a job at the same store her father worked. After only one year the worst happened. As Angela and Basil came home from work they were attacked by heartless. They did not live through it.
Greg upon hearing this fell into grief. He then started looking for a way to bring them back. During this time the Heartless attacked Cherry Tree Lane and it was plunged into darkness. Greg was thus ended up in Traverse Town. There he learned of an old magic known as "rewind" which allows the user to go back in time. He taught himself time magic. Even now he is still searching for the spell to bring back his family. Role Playing Sample:
Gregory Lorett walked down the cobbled road. A single street light cast a cheerful glow. Carriages in the distance could be heard as they careened off to their destinations. A cat meowed in a nearby alley and cantered off.
Gregory keeps down the main road and turns off into a narrow alley. Here everything becomes dark. No streetlights glow to give a sense of security, and carriages avoid this place as much as possible. He passes by the beggars and poor people littering the street and keeps an eye on his possessions as he knew that he might accidently "drop" them by accident.
He comes to a small wooden door. He knocks twice. A hidden eye hole slides open. "Password?" A deep, rashy voice asks.
"Mary Poppins."
The slider closes and the door swings inward to reveal a heavy set man, bald and relatively unremarkable.
"Welcome back Georgy."
"Good to be back Sam."
Gregory walks into the room. Instantly roulettes, dice games, and cards blind him. The room is brightly lit by chandeliers. Curses and obnoxious laughter fill up the badly painted room. Alcohol flows freely, spilling on the carpet and drowning away the rest of the patrons brain. And purse.
He saunters over to a card table and hrows the dealer a silver coin. "Hit me."
Within 5 minutes Greg wins. Then he wins again. And again. Soon he has enough gold to buy himself a car if he wanted to.
A rather large and muscular man slams his hands on the table, "You must be cheating!"
"No sorry," Greg says as he takes the winnings from his fourth consectutive winning hand, "I just simply play the game."
His face goes red from his pent up rage. "Oh we'll see about that."
The man gets up from his seat and launches himself at Greg. In a split second, Greg has his revolver out and ready to fire.
