In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

If a character of yours died, seed, without your permission, one of two things happened:
1) you placed him in a position where he could not survive, at all. In a situation like this, its completely unfair to let them survive, even if their player doesn't want them to. I don't like this, as I'm sure most people don't, but I think it's necessary. It's very possible this is what happened, especially considering you were fighting sephiroth.
2) three words: YOU. GOT. SCREWED. Lol
Now, cmon, seed, lighten up, man. Its all just a game. No need to get so worked up about it.
*hands seed a cup of hot coco and sits him down in chair*
Getting back on topic, a thread that contains the timeline of events for each world would be extraordinarily helpful. Just one problem - it'll probably require a board vet. Is there anyone here who remembers the events, and can piece together an approximate timeline of when they occurred?
We should have one global event thread, for things affecting the overall plot of the game, as well as a thread for each individual world. They shouldn't be all in one place, though... I figure each world should have its own stickied timeline thread, with the overall one possibly in plot central.
This isn't exactly a necessity, but it will help people understand the sequence of events that their world has been through. Basically, it's great for reference material.
I also think we should do something about the whole "Everyone and their dog has a gummy ship" issue. I mean, I can understand some people, but... EVERYONE? Really? I kind of see it as just an excuse to go to whatever world they want to RP in, but... just because you WANT to participate in another world, doesn't mean that your character should. It may just be my opinion, but when you make a character, they should have a place that they currently call home. There should be a few notable exceptions, but they should only be when having a gummy ship/ability to traverse the corridors of darkness fits the character.

...............not EVERYONE...have a gummi ship.....Erika use a teleporting orb and Rubix used a teleporting gear both which is explainable in either profile or rp. I find that you're the only one with this problem..since your characters....are stuck...on...Twilight Town. Just stating the obvious not bashing or anything.
Everyone else tend to tackle that problem on their own acquiring a personal way of transportation whether its portals through the realms, magic, teleportation, or gummi ship.
The issue I bring up is that you never found Hayner, Pence, and Olette hanging out in Radiant Garden or in Beast's Castle. The sheer amount of OCs who can just go wherever is kind of ridiculous. I'm just saying that there should be more of a limit. Now, I'm NOT saying that they have to stay there no matter what. Via actual storyline, rather than just some random "I'm going to get a way to go to another world" thread, if they were to gain the ability to travel to other worlds, then that's fine. For example, Morrisa will eventually be able to traverse the Corridors of Darkness, but ONLY after she becomes an apprentice to one of the dark peeps. Atreyus is a solid candidate for Mickey's forces, so if he is recruited, he'd go along with them on their missions, and as such would go to other areas via those means. Basically, not every single character should just have some magic item that lets them go wherever they want.

O-O ....I see what you mean...but...I don't see how this is a "global problem" versus Canon vs. O.C., lack of communication between staff and members. Sure the idea can be usable, but I highly doubt many would abide by them, since some worlds are as active as others causing people to change locations as they wish.
Plus Hayner, Pence, and Olette are world characters, and they are bound by their world. (which is a rule for them to stay there unless told otherwise). It some what plays with "world order" in a sense despite we have people traveling about the universe. Then again ceasing the amount of traveling and keep people world bound for a bit would blossom activity in the worlds, but many of the people's personal plots cause for traveling, or people won't have as much "fun" if they are stuck in one place. *shruggles*
Perhaps there could be a plot if possible to make people world bound. It have it pro's and con's, but I guess it's more about how "important" it is to have the limit or not.
@lyon: That's what the GMs and Mods are for - enforcing the rules. What I'm saying is that we shouldn't have EVERY character able to do this. I mean... it kinda gets ridiculous when all these characters are capable of it. It needs to be at least limited or regulated... such as, limiting the number of worlds that a character can have threads in at the same time down to one.
...Okay, that didn't sound right... I'll explain...
Basically, if a character is posting in one world, they cannot post in another world until the threads they're posting in either A: Die, B: End, or C: Their character leaves them. Basically, limiting the activity of a character to one world at a time. This would be relatively simple for GMs/Mods to enforce.
My problem isn't so much with the ability to go around everywhere, so much with people being everywhere at once... So it's the ABUSE of that ability, not the ability itself.
As traveling is concerned, at the end of KH2, the barriers around the Worlds was never shown to reform. Given the sheer number of gummi's found throughout both games, perhaps Gummi Ship Traders have opened up, like used carsales lots?
Someone, quick, write up that OC! You'll make a killing in munny!
I've seen something going on in the character creation section that I think needs addressing. Its a minor issue that can be solved rather easily.
Many new members who make profiles with improper spacing don't know what the staff mean when they say to use improper spacing(I was one such member when I first joined). I don't think there's anything in the rules about proper spacing, maybe I've overlooked it, but if there isn't, I'd suggest putting it in there, and in more than one place to make sure they are it and know "get! I need to double space my paragraphs!" And one other thing: why has the canon. Section there come to a screeching halt approval wise? :/ just kind of curious.

@role That isn't much of a problem as long as someone keep there timeline accurate. And if it's done that way then people may lose interest in this site and have a reason to leave. And if someone has one character and the person they're rping with is leaving for say 2 weeks, that thread is stuck in a stand still.
Sumdood I've realized that too, the only ones they've really been paying attention to are worlds and oc's. No offense but if they focused on the canons a bit more the plot could get moving as well.
