In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

How does a person's character on here get to be a Keyblade Wielder? I've heard talk about contest, but I've never actually SEEN anything about it, in the rules or elsewhere, and I've done quite a bit of looking.
Of course, it's possible I've overlooked it, but....I don't knwo. I'm just tired of looking for it. lol.
So, if someone could explain that to me, I'd appreciate it quite a bit.
Too many keyblade wielders would throw the balance; there's naught been a contest for a new one in a long time. At times one may be awarded to a character, but this is a very rare thing as well - there simply will not be many wielders at any one time. Asking for a keyblade does not result in one. (I actually cannot recall when the last contest was held; it was a while ago.)
However, there is also the issue of whether or not a character would, in character, be able to wield one as well. They are, canonically, only for those of the strongest heart; recall, there were many of strong and pure heart, and only, as far as KH2 lets us know, Roxas/Sora, Riku, and Kairi had one.
Out of many people in many places.
So while we have a few wielders about, it cannot be allowed to get out of hand, and generally is preferred to go to those whom it would make sense to go to. Does this clarify?
Hey! Well, every once in a while, the Staff makes a Create-A-Keyblade contest. What you basically do is write a description of the keyblades, its powers, its keychains if it has any, and if you want a picture of it. Then the members vote for the one that they like the most. However, we just recently had one of those contests, so I don´t think the Staff will make another one soon.
Well there are a couple of Non-Character requirements as well. (And correct me if I'm wrong Staff)
1. Be a good Rp'er. I'm not saying your bad. Everyone can improve their writing with time. 2. Be a nice person. We all love people that love people 3. Be active. *Shmacked* I know, I know. Real Lives > Online Life.
Other then that for In-Character stuff......I actually don't know
1. Good character development. 2. Not overly done. 3. Actions your character act upon.
Those are the only ones coming to my mind at the moment. I'm sure that members that have been here longer will be sure to add on to that or correct me.
Well a little clarification on the actions part. Light does have an opposite. So wouldn't "dark" actions constitute reasons for a Dark Keyblade?
Ah... Indeed, as we know Riku wasn't the 'lightest' of Keybearers in KH. He was, however, strong of heart, which contributed greatly to him obtaining one.
Umm-- Riku redeemed himself before he got his Keyblade.
The Keyblade he had in I was false. Ansem - the Heartless, not the other one - made it out of the captive hearts of the Princesses and great globs of darkness. In II he was pretending to himself that he was Dark, but he was so far from being evil.
We're probably mixing up dark and evil again, but that's kinda an occupational hazarded as long as we're dealing in KH.
