In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Swordsmanship: Icarus is a skilled user of the sword giving him an edge as compared to newbies with the type of weapon.
Resistance: Icarus has a high resistance to pain allowing him to continue to fight even if he had a hole in his stomach, of course he would be slowed down greatly, he could still continue to fight.
Agility: Icarus has a slightly higher agility then most humans, even humans in their prime, his agility gives him a slight edge in battle.
Acrobatics: Icarus has the skill to preform acrobatics, back flips, front flips, cartwheels and the like.
Magic
Dark orb: A simple yet effective attack, after charging an orb of darkness the orb then turns into a beam and is fired at the target in a linear path. This attack is easy to dodge nonetheless. He had learned this spell when he became a general of the BBF. (One post charge up, this can be a problem because he must be standing still during the time to load.)
Weapon/Items:
Dark Sword: A normal sword black in color, as customary weapon of the Black King's soldiers.
Picture:
Appearance:
Icarus has a well formed body because of his history of fighting Him wars. This has mainly shaped his body to be muscular, a swimmer’s builds you could say. Meaning his body isn’t too bulky or too scrawny in appearance. His skin is an offset of his body, not being white in color or to the point of having dark skin, more or less an in between of tan skin. His eyes are a piercing red color, as being born under the red king province is what shaped his eye hue. Though only one eye is visible on account for one eye being sealed shut because of a scar that extends from his eyebrow to the end of his nose. His hair is jet black in color and is styled in a crew cut.
Icarus wears simple clothing as well. He wears a black duster which falls down to his ankles and a matching set of black jeans. For footwear he wears sneakers, with a simple design as well. The sole of the shoes are brown in color with a diamond pattern set throughout the sole. The shoe has a white trim with matching white laces, the top part of the shoe is made out of black fabric His shirt is mainly a red T-shirt with the occasional different set of color, ranging from red to blue. On his back lies a black sheath with according brown buckles that wrap around at the front, the sheath is angled so access to the weapon is easy to get too.
Personality:
Whilst Icarus can show no emotion period he tends to act upon anger, yet he is calm in most situations. But since he has no emotions he can quickly turn this calmness into a burst of rage, or he can turn it to a feeling of love, so he has complete control over all of his emotions, he uses the reasoning as “When you lose it you can control it” he also has accepted the fact of what he is, he no longer views himself as a pitiful beast but rather a god amongst mortals or pawns that are to be used according to his own will. His little respect for human life isn’t blind exactly, he knows he cannot fight al of the humans or other beings of the light realm in one go, rather he wishes to start a war with the darkness and light and show his dominance when he succeeds.
Icarus knows what humans are like, being a human himself at one point, he knows they are not stupid, well some anyway, and he will try to make friends with a person and then use them for his plots of darkness controlling everything. So while he may act like the one controlled he is rather in control over the person that thinks they are above him. So if he ever joined a organization or any other type of thing like an organization he would slowly work his dominance over the organization, because If he worked too quickly then he would be viewed as a threat and would try to be destroyed. This shows he is very intelligent when it comes with working along with humans. He also has signs of being a leader by having the ability to give long speeches and has incorporated gesturing in his speeches, trying to be a stirrer of emotions.
In the course of battle he is the type to hit as powerfully and as quickly as possible, wanting to end the fight then having a set back in his plans of darkness obtaining control. He will go at great lengths to find people he thinks are worthy for fitting in the name of darkness, even if he has to convert a being of light into a being of darkness, or if he has to kidnap someone to get their mate in the fight for darkness, showing he would do anything for that person, well anything except for sacrificing his life for the person. If in the end he couldn’t obtain that person he would view it as a minor set back, knowing there is plenty of other worlds in the universe that he can use to his will. This most likely shows his patience with dealing with things, though he can grow impatience if someone under him fails to do either his or her work properly.
The war had also processed a god-like complex within Icarus
Original World: Indora: Indora was a world of many wars, when one died down another had started up. The provinces, four kingdoms in total, had a slight effect on the people, those who were born under the Red King had red eyes and so forth. Indora was also advanced in the level of mobility but they still lacked weapon improvements. Current World: Traverse Town
History:
Icarus a fairly peaceful life under the province of the red king, though his family lived in a little town of only a few hundred people. But one day when he was twelve a group of soldiers waging war with the red king came through his town, destroying everything with fire, but he had survived but death was better then the fate he was going to endure, a fate that showed signs of being cursed, or so he thought. The first few weeks he was imprisoned he was tortured to death and then revived and the captors had repeated the process the torture included things past what a normal twelve year old could endure. This process was repeated until his captors thought he was broken, and then began harsh training to become a soldier for the captor’s side. All of the harsh training and torture had pretty much brainwashed the boy at fourteen.
This brainwashing had turned Icarus the perfect soldier, he had no regrets for killing others, he had lost almost all of his feeling for human life when he had just turned sixteen. By that time over one thousand of his fellow humans under the red king had perished by his blade. Over time they slowly advanced towards the red king, but they were going to destroy all of the kingdoms under the red king to prove a point to him, to prove they were stronger then he was, or who they held in their power was the strongest out of all of the soldiers they held, Icarus, they had named Icarus the Beast because of his merciless ways of slaying people. He had slowly lost count who had died in that war, a thousand from their side were repaid by ten thousand on their side, so they had obliviously had the triumph card over the enemy side.
Those who weren’t killed by Icarus were enslaved and went under the same torture that he did, making more super soldiers, soldiers like him. Only four had survived, forming the Big Four, these four were generals lead by the King of Space, this king had the ability to alter gravity along with forming small black holes, so the Black Big Four had destroyed almost all of the provinces under the red king who was practically powerless under the slow but assured rule of the Space King, or the Black King. Around twenty years old Icarus had become the leader of the BBF which had lead him to be taught everything that the Black King had known, and things he hadn’t known, giving Icarus a vast intelligence over every subject discernible to the very concept of man.
Seeing how the Black King had obtained knowledge on the Rd King, knowing he had two daughters had somewhat made the black king impatient he knew that it would of taken a very long time to completely destroy the Red King, but he had no idea it would of taken ten years to gain that goal, and the fight would take fourteen more years until the war had ended. Each day had brought more deaths upon each side, the death toll was nearing one billion. A lot of which had fallen under the BBF, which had reduced down by two members leaving Icarus and a fellow general under the strict command, the fearless two was their new name. These two along with their armies had made quick progress on the red king, seeing how only five provinces were still standing. An illusionist kingdom, a water controlling kingdom, a fire controlling kingdom, a earth controlling kingdom and a color controlling kingdom, the color control was the king’s main power.
The illusionist kingdom had been extremely tricky to deal with, seeing how hundreds were being killed from illusions from one illusionist. Icarus’ “brainwashing” hadn’t made him immune to the effects of illusions but he could endure them until he killed the certain illusionist that had casted the illusion on the soldiers. Other then the earth and fire controlling kingdom the water kingdom had proven easy to destroy, they were slowly making progress against the red king. When the earth kingdom had fallen each side had prepared for battle. The black king had received a Seer, this Seer had told the king to bring 100 men to battle and that is all that he would need to win, fearing the Seer he did as he was told.
On the day of the battle, Icarus lead the 100 men to the field were they were greeted by 10,000 men under the red king. This battle had lasted for over two years, almost sealing the long and bloody 24 year war, the longest war in ever and the bloodiest. Though during the second year the first appearance of heartless was on that day, whilst everyone on that field was killed by the heartless, Icarus had fought the heartless for his own survival. But soon enough they overpowered him and he was forced to flee into a dark portal, he then awoke in a place called Traverse Town.
Role Playing Sample:
After seeing a building that was in the midst of his recon Icarus had walked his way towards the building. Upon arriving Icarus opened the wood door quite quickly and scanned the place; no one was home, perfect. He grinned slightly and entered. His fairly muscular body rippling under the sun, a small offset to what most would see in there life, a perfectly toned man in appearance, he wasn’t too buff nor was he too scrawny, he was in between, though his height was an offset seeing how he was six feet and four inches, which was a pretty tall for most people. He moved in and looked around, a black duster hanged from a coat rack which wasn’t the best thing he could wear even with it zipped over him. He opened a dresser and grabbed a normal red T-shirt and a pair of black jeans, followed by a set of sneakers, white trim with a brown sole and accorded with a black top with white laces. He also grabbed a pair of undergarments. Donning the new found apparel he left the building.
The creature then looked over to the city and made the journey to walk there, though the city was roughly sixty miles away from the farm. The poor excuse for a road made is slightly more effective for him to move at, though he was just plainly walking while he could of began running or flying for that matter, but a tattered coat and shirt wasn’t the most comfortable clothing to move around in. He kept on walking, his black hair shining brightly with each step. Once his goal was set he would go there, even if it meant a few hours of torment. He was a tad oblivious to the car nearing him until they had honked, gaining his attention. He looked around at it and walked towards the car window, eyeing the driver. A plump bearded man sat behind the wheel. As he walked over to him the driver rolled down his window and shouted to him. “Hey, you’re gonna burn up in those clothes in weather like this, why don’t I give you a ride to town, I’d hate to see a man suffer!” He nodded slightly and walked over to the other side of the car and opened the and then sat in, of course he didn’t know much about anything so far but he wanted to remain silent for now anyway. He blinked slightly as the man messed and banged on a device thing that made music, it was fascinating in a way but it just blurted out utter noise . “………. What in Zurox’s name is this shit?” The farmer was startled a bit by the sudden break of silence. “O-oh sorry, it’s country music, I ‘spose you don’t like it.” The farmer turned it off and kept driving yet he started to hum the same tone that the device had played just seconds ago. The black haired man cringed slightly and socked the farmer in the jaw, just like that but it didn’t go as planed the farmer’s head hit the glass on the door and had killed the farmer, they were near their destination anyway so Icarus hopped out and eyed the car. “………….” He raised a finger and a purple orb formed on it, the purple orb then fired off as a beam and blew the car up in a fiery heap of metal and other debris. The man shrugged and kept walking to the town.
He just simply walked into the town, back during while he was away people couldn’t just enter. Kingdoms had a high policy for war so back then your would have to be extremely careful of the place you went. Unless of course you enjoyed causing wars, which he did himself enjoy, just blow the hell out of both side and declare victory for yourself. He looked around the town, more of those things were drivening across the town as opposed to people walking. He did though see the occasional teen, probably wanting to get away from their parents to feel like they were free, but how untrue that was. No one was ever free, they always had someone or something watching over them and provided a big ol bitch slap to your face once you did something wrong, karma was a bitch like that at times. ( Taken from a recon Icarus preformed under the black king)
Hi, I'm Zeph, and I'll be helping you with this profile. :]
Powers:
The last ability, Dark Orb, looks good. You define it very well. However, you need some drawbacks or downsides to Icarus' prowess to counteract the high Swordsmanship/Resistance/Agility/Acrobatics level. Right now it doesn't quite seem believable. You should describe it in more detail - is his sword style stubborn/heavy-handed, making him a powerful offender but a bit vulnerable when it comes to defense? How quickly does he tire with acrobatics, and to what affect does his gear have on his mobility? Shouldn't being only one-eyed affect his balance slightly in battle - such as when someone approaches him from his blind side? Think over things like these.
Personality, History: His goals are interesting, and his personality is definitely backed up by a pretty dark History. It doesn't match up too well with the 'feel' of Kingdom Hearts, but it might have been passable. What concerns me the most is that your first character feels extremely powerful, and terribly brutal. No character on this board or in the games matches the level of pointless cruelty, like what is displayed in your RP sample. I feel like you could have made your character with the same goals, but with more strategic displays of power, like Ansem or Maleficent, and less slaughter and destruction.
Either way, the whole idea of your character is a tough one for us to chew for your first time. Generally it's something we're not comfortable with. (If a newcomer to WD tried out for Sephiroth right off the bat, for example, we'd have to be thoroughly convinced by the profile, and even then will keep an eye on them for some time.) This is all to avoid godmodding and other unhappy roleplay mishaps, and to encourage plot and character growth over battling. Your character seems to be a hard one to develop at this point.
For now, follow some of the Powers edits I suggested, and let's see what you can tone down or change about him. If it's a character you'd rather not have to change to fit our area of roleplay, you may want to consider bringing in someone new. ;] I'm sure there's plenty of other boards that he would fit as is.
- Remember to leave wiggle room for growth and plotting in the RP. It's tougher for the older characters, but their transformations tend to be the most meaningful.
The character's personality brought out that he was more or less a flight or fight type of character, as dominant control over people as opposed to killing others for himself, but I can bring out a more altered version of him as a teen, and then slowly progress to a more dark side of the rp if that would be better. Not to this extent of course but a lighter form of evil, all of it being developed Via rp.
It may work, but I suggest doing some edits first, so I can see exactly where you plan to take him instead. :] You may ask for my opinion at any stage.
