In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Name: Apollotin Caliburn
Nicknames: Maestro or Paul (What he often addresses himself as)
Age: 15 and appears to be around 15-16
Species: Human
Position: Paul is a Patron of Apollo, hoping to serve the Olympian all he can. He will fight for whatever is right and just, or what will help his master
Theme Song: Sunny Side of the Street Battle Theme: Blue Rondo Allah Turk
Powers:
Soothing Ballad: By playing a melodic song on his lyre, Paul heals one friendly target. This spell is basically Cure, and is right now only capable of healing bruises, cuts, minor burns, concussions, dislocated bones, and twisted angles on the first shot. (2 MP Bars).
Helios’s Gift: An ability that comes along with Apollotin's bow/lyre, Corona; As long as Paul has some magic (1 Bar), his arrows will automatically be enchanted to deal both physical and light damage.
These work well with direct hit’s to Heartless’ “Chinks in their armor” (Where shadow shows) However, after 15 shots, the magic will be consumed (1 bar) and unless there is more magic in reserve, the arrows become normal.
Piercing Overture: Apollo’s “Limit”; if Paul still has quite a bit of magic left (About 5 MP Bars), and is in a bit of a squeeze, he will pull out his lyre, Corona, and play a piercing, but playful melody (Blue Rondo Alla Turk). A bright light rains down from the sun, causing moderate damage to those surrounding Paul, and inflicts blindness to all in the area except himself, those next to him.
This ability will often leave Apollotin with very little if any magic left in reserves, and without any magic, Paul is incapable of inflicting bonus light damage with his arrows.
ETC: Not so much powers, but other talents Paul has include the following: He is a major musician because of all the years he’s practiced on his lyre, he’s gotten rather skilled at playing.
Along with that, he has developed a rich voice that’s very flexible, and able to hit all sorts of pitches of notes. He’s a pretty good actor, maybe more so than most, but he is by no means able to completely change his personality instantaneously without research on, “the character”
With all of Paul's studies of the arts, he has broadened his mental capacity, and he would average about having 7 bars worth of mana due to his intelligence.
Weapons/Equipment: Apollotin's main weapon is called, “Corona”, a very special lyre (a small harp) that has a mechanism that can retract the strings and lengthen the wood to form a bow. In lyre form, Corona is a horseshoe shaped piece of wood that curves slightly on the ends.
The ends are adorned with wooden, yellow suns, and the wood is otherwise painted a yellowish orange, with various phrases and words written on the instrument in Greek. There are 14 delicate strings on the instrument, each producing different notes due to width and length. By clutching one of the suns on the lyre (Normally The one closest to Paul), the instrument will shift itself into bow form.
While entering bow form, a bright light engulfs the bow for a moment, causing the lyre to straighten out and become a compact bow all in about 3 seconds. This costs no magic and can be performed very quickly. In Bow form, Corona still is the same color, has the yellow suns on its ends, and has the same symbols on it while it was in lyre form.
The bow is well crafted for a compact bow and arrow, and has firm yet flexible strings. Paul is pretty skilled with his bow, and about 7/10 times he will hit a pretty stationary target. If the target is constantly moving, he has about a 5.5/10 chance that he hits his target.
Paul owns a rather simple quiver with a shoulder strap, and it has two yellow zigzag patterns that appear near the top and near the bottom of the orange quiver. It can hold about 30 arrows that Paul makes, and about 45 of a normal style of arrow (However, these arrows will not deal light damage as well.). The quiver is attached to Apollo’s rucksack, and both shares the same shoulder strap, so Apollotin often only needs to reach back to get his equipment.
Paul's only other equipment is his fletching knife, a simple steel blade that has a leather hilt and a copper hand guard.
Appearance: Paul's hair is a dirty blonde color and tends to really lighten up if exposed to sunlight. Its texture is smooth and straight, with two calics that are found near the back of the top, and near the left side of his bangs (From his point of view).
It’s a short hairdo, where he has short sideburns, his hair goes behind his ears, and the back part goes down above the collar on most shirts. The hair is only messy with bedhead, but Paul often will often have the bangs curve upward and sweep to the right, but the hair is otherwise flat and kept well out of Apollotin's eyes.
His face is soft, with dimples that will appear when Paul smiles and he has light eyebrows. Nothing is special about his nose, but his eyes are a startling grey-green, almost always with a glint of inspiration in them.
Paul has a broad shouldered, and has a rather well built and healthy body. He is normally posed in the way that he is constantly observing something politely, or he is trying to picture an image or song in his head. He will always have a quiet smile on in this pose, and will only have a straight face when he is upset. He appears to be about 5’7 Ft tall, and weighs right about 135 Lbs.
His hands have well grown fingernails that are clean, and his knuckles and elbows are never dry. He has light hair, so it does not show on his legs or hair, and he has little hair on his hands. He also always wears an opal ring with a caduceus (twin snakes intertwined on a pole) on it, a gift from his father, and a pendant of the sun, a symbol for those who follow in Apollo the Olympian's footsteps.
Paul's current apparell is a shorter Greek Tunic, that is colored a tan yellow with red and orange borders. The tunic's "shirt" section is very basic, with the sleeves reaching down to the elbows, the bottom of the section to the waist, and has a slight collar on the neck portion.
The "Kilt" like portion is seperated from the shirt by a leather brown belt that has a gold, rising sun symbol on it. The kilt like section reaches down right above the thighs., and ends off with a bordder. Paul also wears a light, white pair of pants that go underneath his tunic, that reach down just above the shins.
Finally, Paul wear's strap like sandals that stay in place on his feet. They are made of brown leather, and are extremely comfortable, but are also able to run in.
Personality: Paul learned early on that patience is the key to many things, so he often thoroughly thinks decisions over before jumping into any situation. Along with this passive patience, Apollo lets very little utterly surprise him, normally keeping a straight face with overwhelming news and such.
Even when someone is in trouble, Paul will often wait for the opportune moment to intervene, as to help in the best way possible. Paul has a very kind and giving heart, but he has been known to tease people in the strangest of times, as to lighten the mood.
Intrigued with the arts, Paul has devoted much of his time to studying how to act, play instruments, sing, draw, and other quirky little talents. If faced with an empty day, he will often first sketch the scene, then writes a piece of music on the scene, and will often imagine a play or acting scene of what’s going on.
Paul has also learned and studied many things of science, histories of wars, and literature to give him inspiration, which has helped broaden his mind, not just making him another archer.
He will practice with his bow almost everyday, and has made it a habit to always sharpen his arrow’s points, or to make/fix broken arrows. He loves making friends and he can pretty easily, but he will often occupy his time reading or drawing rather than go and shop at the market or something with friends.
Planning ahead of whatever he is going to say or do is Paul's speciality. But this can cause him to waste valuable time imagining the possibilities. This does however help with friends since it’s always wise to think before you speak to a friend.
Paul finds it annoying though, whenever people are too arrogant to understand others or are complete knuckleheads. Also, he's annoyed when people tend to push aside the arts.
He has a cool enough head to hold his tongue whenever made fun of or such, but also tends to strategize an either ironic or silly revenge on the person.
Some of his favorite foods are most banana based foods and drinks, sweet golden honey on breads, and quite a couple citrus foods. He is not very finicky, but Pal is not a fan of bitter foods, or consumables that tend to leave an aftertaste that just won’t go away.
His favorite style of music is/(Will be) "Jazz". He has either found pieces of music or composed such peices, and adores the style due to it's soothing affect on the soul.
Paul has a major phobia of scorpions, after being told horrible things about them, and he also tends to fear things that seem to relate back to curses of seething mad higher beings…. Oh yes, and things that relate to stabbing your wrist facing the inside.
Things that always tend to interest Paul are songs that are in the making or are very famous, the creation of bow and arrows, Stories on how the Olympians changed ancient Greece, and the study of healing.
Original World: Ancient Greece (Olympus Coliseum)
Current World: Olympus Coliseum
History: Apollo (More preferbly Paul) Caliburn was born about 15 years ago, in a small Grecian village that resided in the same world as the interplanetary phenomenon, Olympus Coliseum. His mother, Atlanta Caliburn, was a slender young woman, and had fair brown hair, and dazzling green eyes. Paul’s father was a different story altogether: He was a fair bit older, about 10 years older, and had a refined brown beard and scalp of hair, with the occasionally gray streak in his hair.
But this was not from age: Asclepius was a High priest of Apollo the Olympian, and would suffer from high amounts of stress, having to do temple work, heal patients, etc. . His destiny was to become another patron of Apollo.
Paul’s parents began trying to steer their childin this direction by trying to introduce him to music very early on. The baby loved music, and would often try to make anything into a musical instrument.
His fascination with music was slowly increasing, and this made his father proud: These were the talents that made someone a good patron to Apollo. When Paul had his sixth birthday, he had asked his father for a lyre, since he had really wanted to learn some other kind of instrument other than "Percussive". Asclepius obliged, and began teaching Paul in the ways of music.
In a matter of three days, he had already begun to play and not stop playing simple songs (such as “Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars) until he got it just right. This earned Paul the nickname, Maestro, and he took great pride in the nickname. But his obsessions didn’t stop with music: He begged his parents to go see plays, go see archery shows, and even just simple things such as to watch his father work in the hospital.
When Paul turned 8, he went through a ritual that marked him as a priest of Apollo. He had the whole smhmutz: Stood watching the sun from sunrise till sunset, and during that time composed a song to praise Apollo for the sun and it's gifts.
He was soon accepted into priesthood, and recieved a Pendant of the Sun, a sun figure made of polished marble, attatched to a simple brown leather strap. Paul assisted with his father's work, and asked him if there were any other classes he could take to follow in Apollo's foot-steps even further.
Asclepius began funding Paul’s tuition of different classes (Archery, reading the sun, more music etc…). By the time he was ten Paul was becoming well rounded in almost all he did; He was able to hit a bull’s eye on a target with his simple bow and arrow 3/10 times, his father had taught him the essence of healing, and a few remedies that tended to work (unfortunately, Paul could just not seem to be able to cast a simple cure spell.), and the list goes on and so forth.
When Apollotin was celebrating his 11 birthday and received a very interesting gift: A beutiful, ornate lyre that had two suns on the end of it. Paul played on the instrument and was full of excitement: This had to be the best lyre in the whole universe (second to Apollo's, of course.).
Paul began stroking the suns when all of a sudden, the entire Lyre shuddered, was encased in a bright white flash and the instrument became a bow and arrow! Absolutely overwhelmed by the gift, Paul thanked his family for such a wonderful gift, and began examining this magical item even further.
After awhile though, Paul's mother came into his room and gave him one of the most unexpected presents: a ticket to go see a fight at Olympus Colliseum. Paul always been interested to see one of these fights, and agreed to go.
So Paul accepted the tickets and the two-some (Asclepius was busy) headed off to Olympus Colliseum. As Paul entered the gates, he saw humongous crowds also waiting to get in. But he also took a look at the few tournament trees near the back: Many of the records showed the name, "Sora" as their victor. He looked into this character by asking someone who worked at the coliseum.
Paul soon figured out that this Sora figure had been a reigning champion within the arena, and had come out of nowhere. Despite being a foreigner, Sora had assisted saving the Coliseum by driving back the hound of Hades, Cerberus, and worked his way up from there. "Amazing. Is he still fighting in the Coliseum?" Questioned Paul.
"Nah. He's been gone for awhile now. Gotta wonder what he's doing though... Anywho, enjoy the match kid!" The two walked into the arena and saw the day's match: A swordsman Vs... a strange group of creatures called, "The Shadow Battalion".
After the match (Paul had tons of fun) he asked the same employee, "What were those monsters he was fighting?"
The guy shrugged, and replied, "I think they're called Heartless, beings of darkness. Don't know too much 'bout them, and they are not showing up as much anymore as they used to... but ya gotta wonder..."
Paul kept this in mind and made it a priority to make sure he be careful around Heartless due to his lack of knowledge on the subject. Luckily for him, Paul never encountered Heartless (face to face) until he was 16.
Paul was composing a song about quiet nights, when out of nowhere a wounded man is running past him. Hot in pursuit, two heartless, both were in the shape of a 3-D shadow. But these weren't the normal shadows Paul saw: They looked feral, with blazing yellow eyes, devious claws, and powerful legs.
Paul willed Corona to become a bow, drew from his quiver an arrow, and quickly dispatched one of the Heartless through the head. The other looked as light overwhelmed his partner, and began encircling Paul.
Knocking another arrown into place, Paul kept his eye on the Heartless and the man, and as the monster pounced upon him, Paul fired the arrow straight into the Neo-Shaow's chest. It too desintergrated, and Paul quickly retrieved his ammo.
He strolled back to the injured man, and grimaced: Deep scratches all along the chest and back. Paul looked around his medical supplies, but to no avail. He sighed, mournfully and lamented, "I'll at least let this be soothing to you".
With that, Paul had his lyre once again, and began playing a beautiful, soothing, ballad. At the chorus, Paul began to feel very peculiar, feeling as if all things good were at his command.
"Cure..." Paul murmured begining to come to his realization... Immediately, the wounds began to knit themselves together, and relief flooded in the mans eyes. Paul kept up the alleviating notes, and once again, with more confidence, stated "Cure!"
The color began returning to the man's eyes. With that, Paul felt slightly drained (He'd never used so much magic), but exubrant: He'd just healed a man who was about to be snatched up by Thantos (god of death).
After that scenario, very little happened to the Household: Apollotin kept growing stronger, taller, and smarter every day, Asclepius attending to his duties, etc.
At the age of 14, however, Paul had risen to the status as a patron of Apollo, and became the head of what we would consider, "The Security of Apollo's temple".
It was an honour to gaurd the temple and Paul took his job very seriously.[/color]
The Temple has been kept in good condition, and everyday, Pul looked longingly at the sun. He enjoyed his life in all aspects but sometihng had been bothering him.
He had been dreaming of the late, and these were not his normal dreams: More like a semi-Nightmare, filled with beings known as Heartless.
Paul was no diviner, so these dreams revealed nothing to him. Apollotin was just one of those people who never was any good at reading dreams, and he didn't want to really bother with telling someone.
But Paul knew, deep down in his heart, his destiny would make itself clear... someday...
Role Playing Sample: It was a sunny, brisk spring day in the meadow right outside Paul's village. There were a few cumulus clouds that lazily floated along in the sky, with vibrant colored aviaries soaring along the blue expanse.
On his days off, Paul often walked out to the meadow to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of his town, especially on days when merchants came in. They were often noisy, constantly shouting out and begging people to buy their perfectly preserved Hercules flex and Pecs action figure.
Today had been one of those days, and Paul had made sure to get permission from his mother to leave at the first sign of a golden tinted orb rising over the nearby horizon. He luckily got there right as the many chariots, caravans, and other transporting vehicles of the time
“Sniff….. Ahh… the smell of morning dew. What a beautiful thing to wake up to. In fact it’s….” He stopped in midsentence for the fact he knew some friendly neighborhood dryads (tree spirit) lived in a laurel trees nearby, and didn’t wish to wake them up. That and he had just found a new inspiration for a drawing.
He worked nonstop for the next 3 hours, and by then, Apollo had decided to drive the sun chariot to let the new morning sun arise.
Paul had finished his drawing on the piece of papyrus he had, and he admired it for 3 minutes: A tiny replica of the village and surrounding valley was easily understood on the paper (Far from a real artist, but the drawing was still immaculate.).
Paul pulled out his lyre and began trying to come up with a playful melody to accompany the art. But as he closed his eyes and felt the notes surround him, no less than 10 measures later he was swarmed by dryads.
Paul was not surprised by the sudden attack from the tree women, since they always loved listening to good music. He sighed, quietly grinned and sighed, “All right. What shall I play for you ladies?”
They all giggled and shouted out various requests and favorites. He pulled up his lyre smiling faintly, and he seemed to be focusing on something distant. They all inhaled out of excitement and watched as he held the instrument. However, Paul unexpectedly transformed his lyre into its bow in a bright flash, drew a quick arrow, and fired, leaving a resonating concert “C” pitch in the air.
The arrow cut an apple off a nearby tree (thankfully one without a spirit in it), and the apple landed neatly on the ground: No bruises. Paul strode over to the fruit, picked it up and put it into one of his pockets. He climbed the tree and reached for his used ammo, a stone head arrow that faintly shimmered gold, a laurel tree bark shaft, and a raven feather on the back.
Some of the Dryads were panicking and scolding Paul for giving them a heart attack, but he settled them down and began explaining his actions, after pondering the right words to say, “I was… hungry. Honestly, I haven’t eaten since last night’s supper, and the apples from that tree are always large and full of flavor. Second: Concert “C” makes for a good tuning note on my instrument.”
The young maidens of the trees grudgingly forgave Paul and gave him coy smiles. They all begged him to start “speaking through his music." He obliged, sat down on a small mossy boulder and began playing and singing:
“Every time… The rain comes down…Close my eyes--- and listen… I can hear--- the lonesome sound…” Every note that came out was rich and filled with purpose. His sweet and soothing accompaniment of his lyre accented well, enchanting those around.
As Paul sang on and on, he thought, “These days are beautiful. I have to cherish them for as long as I can...who know's when the Fate's will act?"
Paul continued his small show for the dryads for another hour, bid the maidens farewell, and started returning home for daily archery practice.
*Please Note- The lyrics used in the Role Playing Sample are from the song, "It's In the Rain", By Enya. Mainly a suggestion from my mother for a soothing song.*

*Please note: I am making some changes on these powers*
Powers:
Soothing Ballad: By playing a melodic song on his lyre, Paul heals one friendly target. This spell is basically Cure, and is right now only capable of healing bruises, cuts, minor burns, concussions, dislocated bones, and twisted angles on the first shot. (Requires two posts to recharge)
Helios’s Gift: An ability that comes along with Apollotin's bow/lyre, Corona; As long as Paul has access to his inner magic, his arrows will automatically be enchanted to deal both physical and light damage.
These work well with direct hit’s to Heartless’ “Chinks in their armor”
Piercing Overture: Apollo’s “Limit”; If Paul is in a bit of a squeeze, he will pull out his lyre, Corona, and play a piercing, but playful melody (Blue Rondo Alla Turk). A bright light rains down from the sun, causing moderate damage to those surrounding Paul, and inflicts blindness to all in the area except himself, those next to him.
This ability will often leave Apollotin a little winded, and can only be used once per battle.
