In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Skylar spent the past few hours wandering the streets of Traverse Town. He wasn't familiar with any other world but his own and he wanted to see what this world was like. Finally he stopped for a break in the first district on the stone stairs. As he sat Skylar couldn't shack the thought on how he got there. He went over the previous events in his home world how he was attacked by these dark creatures, how long he fended them off, and how this big one showed up and mopped the floor with him. Then while lying on the ground a dark cloud like substance appeared under him as he lost conciseness then woke up here.
"None of this makes any sense. Maybe I should ask someone here in town." Thought Skylar but the problem was just that. Skylar wasn't the social type, he didn't have any friends back home, spent most of his time in his room or at his karate lessons even there he didn't talk to anyone other than his teacher every now and then. Never the less as Skylar looked around he didn't see anyone around at the moment so decided to wait for a little while.

The pyromancer's luminescent cerulean eyes followed the boy behind ash brown hair- he remembered the old days, where the survivors were children of light whose hearts were unable to be tainted by the shadows. Squall- er, Leon and the others would chip in to help as they had when he had come here, long ago. Syn sighed, leaning casually against the brick wall, his hands furrowed in the pockets of his jacket. The snow swirled around his feet a a cool breeze filtered through the alley and as it rose it stuck to the bottom of his jeans.
The elder teen brushed his bangs away and stepped away from his lethargy, moving towards the kid. He tilted his head... Greetings sucked so much. He could feel something tugging at his back- a Shadow had been following him lately. He was never to wary of them- they generally left him on his business. He must... smell like them or something; they didn't attack him. This one had become curious and stayed, he supposed. He felt it let go and disappear into the shadows.
As the two locked eyes he nodded. "Newcomer?" he said, smirking. He nodded his head to a nearby shop. "You should prolly warm up and stay out of the streets, got it?" The boy's eyes seemed almost luminous in the eternal night that shrouded the world. As he stood before the stranger, the world around him paled, as if Traverse Town were in a cozy little sleep, its rooftops covered in snow while its windows displayed cozy winter firelight. "I'm Syn. What's your name?"

Skylar was deep in thought when Syn approached him causing Skylar to jump in surprise. It seemed like he came out of nowhere but when Skylar get hung up on something he tends to zone out a bit. Syn looked innocent enough but something about him didn't feel completely right but quickly shrugged it off because Skylar thought he was being paranoid, after all he did just have a run in with death a few hours ago.
When Syn asked if he was a newcomer he just sat there staring unsure what exactly to say but quickly threw off the subject when Syn suggest to get out of the cold. That wasn't a bad idea considering how long he had been walking around. The cold was starting to get to him now that he became consciously aware of it.
"Its Skylar and yeah I guess you could say I'm new here." He replied shivering. After all he wasn't in proper clothing for winter weather. All Skylar had on him was his white no sleeve shirt with his black paper thin leather jacket and blue jeans. Its amazing that Skylar isn't half dead in the street for as long as he has been outside.
[STYLE=width:300px; font-size:20px; font-family:times new roman; text-transform: uppercase; text-align:center; color: #66696A; margin-top:-20px]You can get addicted to[/style][STYLE=width:300px; background-color:#F4F4F4; height:300px; overflow:auto; font-size:12px; font-family:arial; text-align:justify; border:4px solid #e6e6e6] Synthest laughed as the kid shivered- of course. That strange getup didn't exactly look warm. He held his hand out as if to shake, but in a moment the flames alighted on his skin, crawling over his body. Behind the veil of hair his eyes alighted with the flame, shimmering orange, with pulses of blue, as though his eyes were made of the darkest opal. He grinned, concentrating the flame on his palm, holding it out so that it could give off warmth. "So where are you from? You know... your world?" he drawled. Might as well not keep it a secret. That was the only way he could have gotten here the way he did. Just like Syn had woken up for the first time so many years ago.
As he spoke he motioned towards the small cafe to the west of the first district, sitting down at one of the tables. Hidden from the snow, the pyromancer relaxed in the candle-light, examining the new guy now that he was closer. "You look at least somewhat contemporary- I'm guessing you came from a world with advanced technology?"
[/style][STYLE=width:300px; font-size:20px; font-family:times new roman; text-transform: uppercase; text-align:center; color: #66696A; margin-bottom:-5px]a certain kind of sadness[/style]
Skylar fell over backwards in surprise when Syn's hand seemed to burst into flames. Skylar had never seen or heard of magic being done before so this came as quiet a shock. He just sat there staring at the flames wondering how it was possible to do that. He wondered if he could learn to do that but then again it could be something that you had to be born with.
"Um. I'm from Twilight Town." Replied Skylar upon being asked what his home world was. "What about you?" Skylar asked out of curiosity while they made there way over the the cafe. Skylar was hoping to see how he got here cause if he had some motive of transportation it would be relieving to know there's a way to get back home.
When Syn asked how advance the technology was at his home world he replied "Well I guess that depends on what you mean by advance. If it isn't already obvious this is the first world I've ever visited. And not to mention that I'm not exactly sure how I even got here."
If not, shoot me a PM and I'll get rid of this post. Same thing if there was a posting order I should respect))
On said cafe was a boy. Young, his hot-red hair contrasted with the white scenario the snowy Traverse Town provided. He was wearing cloths fit for the cold weather, a black set of coat, long-sleeved shit, glove and pants. Still, he was shrunken in place, trembling and quickly drinking a cup of hot chocolate, trying to warm up. On his back, below the coat, the Sharkblade was sheathed, wrapped-up in black cloth so no one could notice the high-tech weapon, or at least not recognize it. It gave Axel a weird appearance tough, like a flat hunchback.
"I goddam HATE this cold..." He said to himself. It was then that he noticed the newcomers. One of them looked pretty confused and "amazed". Probabbly someone that have never been in Traverse Town. Maybe a survivor of a destroyed world? Axel took pity on him. However, he did not know him, and was a bit shy to just get up and go talk.
So, he focused back on his chocolate, paying attention to them without being too indiscreet.
(Hey Syn while your gone going to continue on, jump back in anytime)
Skylar payed little attention to the guy in black. As far as Skylar could tell, they guy dressed in black wasn't going t be any trouble but something caught Skylar's eye a few seconds later. On the guys back was something unsettling. From the looks of it he was trying to conceal something. Skylar began to wonder what it was just in case trouble was brewing. Skylar immediately then dropped the thought believing that he was just being paranoid again and went back to listening to what Syn had to say.
Well, wasn't that great? That boy noticed the Sharkblade. Dumb dumb dumb, tought Axel. Wasn't it a great idea to go arround with a freaking weapon wrapped in black on it's back? Dammit...
However he needed to have the Sharkblade arround always. A hero never know when trouble will arise.
Well... that was enough for break time. He decided to go talk with that other guy. Standing and paying the barman for the hot beverage, he started to go away of the bar. However, when Axel passed by Skylar, he signaled the guy to follow him. He would simply continue walking, and, if he followed, would wait for Skylar when they were out of the coffe.
"Hey. Sorry from taking you away from your friend but I was curious. You're from here? I mean, Traverse Town?"
When The Shark signaled Skylar to follow him he couldn't help but wonder what he could possibly want. Eventually curiosity got the better of him and started following The Shark.
"I will be right back Syn going to see what this guy wants." Said while making his way outside.
Once outside, the stranger asked him if he was from around here.
"Where I'm from its polite to give your name before asking question." Skylar replied. It was starting to seam that Skylar's paranoia might have been right this time. At any rate Skylar wasn't about to let this guy know very much until he knows if this guy is friendly or not.
"Oh, how stupid of me. I'm sorry." With this, Axel raised a hand for a friendly handshake with Skylar. Axel was clearly ashamed of his rudeness "You know, when I'm curious everything kinda goes off the window. Anyways, I'm Axel Orlando, nice to meet you, and Welcome to Traverse Town!" Axel was already almost sure that he was a newcomer - they always were confused and lost like that. So, he decided to be as friendly as possible since the newcomer probabbly witstood a tragedy not long ago.
Axel really seamed embarrassed, "Maybe he doesn't mean any harm." Thought Skylar. As Axel raised his hand for a hand shake and replied his name, Skylar then threw in his contribution to the hand shake gesture.
"I'm Skylar, Likewise. And to answer your question, no I'm from Twilight Town. Just got here a few hours ago." Maybe this guy could clarify a little more about those dark creatures or give a better explanation on how Skylar even got here. Maybe.... even a ride back home.
"Twillight Town, huh? This name pops now and then... but, wait. What happened? Usually people end up in this world when theirs is destroyed... Can you describe exactly what happened in Twillight Town?" Axel was wondering. He knew about Twillight Town because of some of the basic studies of the Pristis Institute about other worlds, tough he haven't traveled there yet. Could it be that Twillight Town was now destroyed too? That was important intel to the Institute. He waited the boy's answer, patiently.
Axel seemed really scared about the situation, there was no doubt in Skylar's mind that this guy can be trusted... For now at least, it was time he got some answers. How does he know about his world, what are those creatures, ... is there anything Skylar can do to help?
"Well... its a bit of a story but I will try and sum it up. I've been watching TV for the past few weeks about reports of star's in the sky fading away and how conspiracy theories believe that its the work of some unknown entity's. When I finally got my black belt for my Karate lessons, witch was earlier today depending on how long I was unconscious. I decided to go out and try to find the answer but was soon attacked by these shadow creatures that just appeared out of no where. After a few minutes of fending them off they ran and this big one showed up and well... lets just say it didn't go well. After that I lost consciousness and next thing I know, I'm here."
Axel listened Skylar, paying great attention to everything. when Skylar finished his story, Axel took a moment to think to himself before answering:
"Shadow creatures you said? Like, dark skin, glowing yellow eyes? They're called Heartless. They are born when a heart succumb to darkness, and live only to collect more hearts and grow in power. They are a common sight here in Traverse Town... things got a little better since the White Queen took over, but they still roam arround and threathen people. You're lucky you have survived, y'know, that's not very commom. It's also not very commom for people to appear here after a heartless attack... usually they appear after a total outbreak, because, as I said before, this world is where people whose worlds have been destroyed come to. I'm... sad to give you these news. But I wouldn't lose hope if I were you, not yet at least. You know, i wanna help you... just don't know how..." Axel started rubbing his head, trying to think of a solution, as well as giving Skylar time to think about those things. "By the way, I forgot to ask your name." He said, casually.
Skylar just stood there taking in all the information Axel had to give. When Axel was done, Skylar didn't know what to say.
"Heartless... Born from darkness when a person succumbs to darkness.... What did you step into now Skylar." Skylar thought. It was long before Skylar started fearing the worst for his home world. The world itself he could live without but... his parents are till there and all the other people of Twilight Town. It was then that Axel asked for his name but Skylar just stood there for a few more minutes before replying.
"Its Skylar... Hey... Thanks for telling me all this... It probably wasn't easy being the bearer of bad news." Skylar started to collect his thoughts on the matter at hand and based on the information at his disposal, he didn't know what to do.
"Well first things first, we need to find out if my world is even there or not. Do you know how to get to other world?" Skylar asked praying that his home world is still there and his family safe.
