In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There was a crack. It boomed, swiftly sending five or six pantherons flying, their shocked cries contrasting the angry screeches of the other monsters. Hope's eyes shot open, feeling a sudden rush of horror and abnormality in the pit of his stomach. Oh no, he thought to himself, his previously heavy eyes now alert and darting. They were finally fighting. The last time he'd been sent into Valhalla, Hope could feel the tension between the Heartless and Monsters, it was strained so tightly that a wrong cough would have sent them into an all out war. The mere presence of the Heartless had shocked Hope his first time here, let alone the agitation of the monsters whose territory had been invaded. The Director thought the two factions would gladly work together, but apparently there was some sort of power struggle for top dog, and instead of some chaos, it was total chaos. Especially since Etro hadn't been seen since, well, since Hope escaped Pulse the first time.
Which was why he was so curious as to why his dreams kept bringing him here, time and time again, torturing him with the memories of the past. Nevertheless, he was being brought to Valhalla night after night, living in his dreams as if he were awake. And every time he awoke, he remembered every detail as if he'd never slept at all. It was all so peculiar.
His hand rose to his head, a drop of rain thumping onto his forehead. No, not rain. Wiping his forehead, a red smear of blood on his fingers sent him into a panic. His eyes began searching the skies for the enemy, only to find another pantheron sent over a ledge above him, crashing to the ground with an amazing thud. Hope dove to the wall, only to find another surprise. Rather than his usual attire, he was wearing the clothes from his first adventure, with a size alteration, obviously. On his waistline was, of course, the Airwing, which he grabbed into a tight grip. Another moment passed, and a Soldier flew over the edge, its limp body apparently in pursuit of the now dead pantheron. A shudder ran down the Director's spine and he started making his was toward a fleet of stairs to take him up to the battle site, which, apparently, wasn't the only place of battle. In fact, he couldn't find a place where there wasn't any fighting. Nonetheless, he needed a better view of the abhorrence.
Luckily he moved quickly, dodging another heartless Soldier as its defeated body hit the side of the cliff, just a few feet behind him. Hope glanced over, expecting the wrath of a pantheron. Considering himself fortunate, he felt a trace of pity for the previously victorious monster as three more Soldiers attacked it. The panicked Director stumbled up the stairs, and found three pantherons fending off five Soldiers. Rather than spending his time waiting for the warriors to duke it out, he cast a quick aerora, sending them all over the edge to fight somewhere else.
Hope glanced over the edge, his eyes peering out over the ocean. What the hell was going on?
OOC: Sorry that took a bit longer than expected to post. I'm just making stuff up as I go, feel free to do the same . Oh, and this is going to be the first time Noel and Hope have seen each other? Or have they seen each other here before? I'll leave that to you, I don't care either way :3
The hunter was taking a more physical approach to the monsters and Heartless, taking them out using Flame Fossil, the familiar weapon once again a common thing in his grip. Every flow of attack, every simple motion of slashing, stabbing and hacking was fluid to him, and his practiced movements ensured he dealt the most amount of damage without being hurt too much. Noel's eyes were steely as he fought, and anything that stood before him
Constant paradigm shifts kept him alive, but he still tired nonetheless, growing weary of the battle. And, though he knew this wasn't real, he still worried. He of all people knew how real dreams could get. Once, he had been trapped in one, and it was real, almost realer then reality. However, Serah had saved him, and the thought of her kept him sane in this new dream.
Eventually, the beasts thinned out, and running up some stairs, he saw somebody, though he couldn't name who off the top of his head. He barely got a look of the person, before a large creature obstructed his view, going for the other person. With a single motion, his two swords merged into a javelin, and he threw it, the spear striking true to where he aimed. The beast reeled, stumbled, then toppled, away from the other. Noel's spear reappeared in hand, and he split it back into his swords, sheathing them. The glimpse of he silvery hair made him realize who it was, and he cried out.
His figure was adamant as he stood alone, though his eyes flooded with worry as he continued to watch the chaos. Both sides seemed to be fighting with unlimited bodies and resources, their kind just throwing themselves at one another, the only expense being their lives. Hope briefly wondered -- Was this a dream for them, as well?
His train of thought was cut off as a human voice rang out, calling his name. "Noel!" Yes, it was Noel! Hope's eyes rested easily on the brunet, clad in the clothes Hope had seen him in last. The same spear was sheathed in its swords behind his back, and Hope felt an immense wave of relief rinse over him. He began trekking toward the man, his path surprisingly clear. "Noel!" he repeated, unable to hide a grin despite the grim circumstances. He didn't stop moving until he was only feet away, the pantherons and Soldiers busying themselves with one another as the two reunited. It was a dream, but that was close enough, right?
"Oh my gosh, Noel..." he managed, his mind reverting back to the day Gran Pulse fell. Something wasn't clicking, he, he, he watched Noel die, didn't he? He died, perished, didn't make it out. Surely he wasn't hallucinating, he wasn't delusional, so what was going on? And these dreams, they weren't like real dreams, they were more real. "Where are you?" he asked instinctively. Hope knew the nature of these types of dreams -- they could end quickly, and with this fighting going on, there wasn't a second to waste.
"H-how are you here?" the man with all the answers baffled. Today was an exception, for Hope had no answers.
