In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Marmadue couldn't help but clench his jaw as he watched stranger with the red hair, still quite uncertain and nervous about the whole thing. But this was the wrong time to start questioning if this was such a great idea, wasn't it? It was much too late, as his gaze flicked from the people that currently stood in the room. The stranger that had attacked them, Avari and Fahe. Their group… Wasn't all that much, especially when they had no idea what kind of dangers they would be facing. Hopefully… It wouldn't be too much for them. They all had to come back alive.
The Yuke stayed quiet as he watched… Lea, probably, that was the name the Moogle had given the man with the mysterious key at least. Well, it only resembled a key slightly, being much more… Ornate, than the one Xion had. In the dim light, it was easy to notice right away when the man started to glow. Softly, but warmly. Xion was enveloped by a strange glow as well, though clearly different in its shade. Marmadue's eyes kept eyeing both the man and the girl, just in case he was up to no good and… And something would happen…
The lights grew in their strength, climaxing in what seemed to be a burst of light so sudden that the Yuke jumped with an audible gasp. Of course he first assumed something had indeed happened – something bad! But no. No one was on fire. Xion was still sleeping soundly, unharmed. Instead, a strange… Crystallized structure hovered in the air, prompting Marmadue to take a step closer. It definitely wasn't a crystal he was familiar with, off in its shape and color – almost looking like fire more than anything. Perhaps kind of like the man that seemed to have summoned it.
His gaze flicking towards Lea, Marmadue couldn't help but still feel… Uncertain, though he supposed he had to just accept the fact that they would be working together now, despite what had happened just moments earlier. Perhaps a man like this was an asset, as the Yuke… Well, he doubted he could protect the other two younger ones, if it came to that. If… The two even chose to come. If they even should. Perhaps it really was too dangerous.
Marmadue couldn't worry about that for too long, the man soon taking his first steps towards the strange crystal and disappeared in a flash of light. "Ah!" Came a surprised exclamation from inside the helmet, everything moving a bit too fast. Or perhaps just as fast as it had to. They didn't have time!
But he had to go. Sending the man alone didn't seem like the best idea. Sending Avari or Fahe alone – or even together with the stranger – also didn't sound good. He couldn't sit something like this out, in case… In case it went badly. "I… Do not know what will happen, either. It seems like there is, ah, a great risk involved. I do not know if there is anything any of us can do to help," the Yuke looked down, drawing in a deep breath before he looked back at the other two, even offering the Moogle a look even though he was going to be staying behind.
"I shall be going. I cannot ask for you to come. I do not think I can stop you, however. I… Can see the advantages of having someone closer to her age there to help her. Possibly. But I would hope for utmost carefulness," Marmadue exhaled and turned towards the crystal. He wasn't entirely sure what Lea had done to enter the thing, but all he could do was to try to follow in his footsteps, repeat what he had done. Walking closer to the hovering crystal, allowing himself to be drawn in…
Lea was quick to move things along as he summoned what appeared to be a flame, though it was somewhat different from the fire he had used earlier. He went on to assure them all that he was an ally, despite the initial misunderstanding. With one last warning about the danger that may be waiting on the other side of the portal, Lea stepped through, vanishing into what Avari had to believe was Xion's dreams, based on what Artemicion had told them.
Marmadue was the next to step forward, warning them about the possible dangers just as Lea had, but that he could not stop or force them to go along with all of this. He mentioned how having people closer in age to Xion might benefit their rescue mission, but he also wanted the two younger individuals in the group to be careful. "Well, I guess if Artemicion can hold the fort here for awhile, there's not much choice. We have to bring her back," She said as she smiled at Fahe, "I promise I won't attack this Lea guy again, kay?"
She gave a curt nod to Artemicion and a quick, "We'll be back soon," before approaching the fiery orb much like Marmadue and Lea had, though reaching her hand out to it in a confused manner, until she vanished as well. What they would find on the other side, she could only imagine.

Of course there happened to be a glowing orb in the room now, and of course, it was the only way to wake the girl up. Even if everyone from that day wasn't here, it seemed very much like it. So to recount, the red-haired guy named Lea made a portal with the weapon in his hand called a keyblade, and everyone thought that that was normal. Then Marmadue walked through warning them of the danger, then he just walked right in, with Avari following suit, now there was only Fahe and Artemicion.
"So I guess, it's just like touching the thing, like the others," Fahe said, "Well here goes." Walking forward towards the orb, the winged boy stumbled over his feet for a bit. He'd have to tie his shoes later, for now he tucked them into his shoes and stepped forward and touched the glowing crystal. After a swift moment he vanished leaving only Xion and Artemicion in the room.
What the party stood on, in that world so deep in Xion’s heart, was a platform of glass, deep in a void of darkness. Nothing extended from it for as far as could be seen, just the lone station they stood upon. Looking down, one could see that the glass which they stood upon had the design of somebody on it, a black-robed figure with their hood up. On either side of him was the same type of weapon both Xion and Axel had, one silver, one black.
But there were cracks in it.
And looking up, they would see another black robed figure, hood up, frantically moving around shards of glass, sobbing. The soft cries sounded familiar to those who had been in the shattered realm with Gabranth, and especially to Axel. She picked two pieces up, and held them together, trying to see if they would fit. But then she saw the party, and Xion started to her feet, backing up.
“Who are you? Where did you come from?”
A flash of light, and she pointed her summoned Keyblade at the party, though it trembled in her grasp. She took a few hesitant steps back, backing closer to the edge.
“Nobody move! Touch nothing. I don’t know who you are, but I’m not letting you hurt my memories.”
There was a sudden magic distortion, and the voice of the Moogle on the other side came to them.
”Oh dear, kupo… If my hypothesis is correct, the memories she holds deepest in her heart were what she gave up in that trial. But now she’s lost them. Oh dear, how do we help her with that… Maybe we just need to coax her to remembering? Ask her questions about what you see! I’ll check in soon, though. We’ve got trouble coming.”
Marmadue couldn't help but hold his breath as he felt his very being pulled away – where, he couldn't be quite sure of that. But once it felt like he had some solid ground underneath his feet once again, he dared to exhale and open the eyes he realized he had squeezed shut quite tightly. And what a sight awaited him. Gone was their little hideyhole in Twilight Town, though the darkness remained. Perhaps the sheer… Emptiness reminded the Yuke of the ruined realm of the Judge Magister, but this was no world that had been destroyed, was it? It was… Supposed to be the girl's heart…
She was there – at least, that was the assumption he could make when he saw the familiar dark robes fluttering about in the distance, worn by a figure about her size and stature. She was… Doing something, carrying something, fitting them together – shards of glass, perhaps? Glancing at his feet, Marmadue couldn't help but give them a surprised lift when he realized he was actually standing on a platform that felt like it was made from something glass-like! There was an image, something like… Perhaps Xion? Or… Well, perhaps it wasn't quite right. The cracks did make it seem like it could give out at any moment and send them all to the darkness below.
And Xion saw them too. Her reaction was, well, quite startled. It seemed like she did not recognize the party, even summoning her large key-like weapon and pointing it at them. The Yuke was quick to flinch and raise his hands as a sign of submission, his palms empty. "A-Ah please, we ah, wish you no harm," he stuttered, already feeling quite nervous about this. Would she be the biggest obstacle here, a dangerous enemy that would try to destroy them?
Surely not… At least, that was what he hoped.
The moogle's words echoed in his mind, reminding him of their mission. He had to try to calm his nerves, explain the situation. Yes. That was probably the first step in all this: trying to earn the girl's trust. "We ah… A-Actually, miss, we have seen each other before. It seems that you might not remember, but ah… That is why we are here. Trying to ah, help you… If you let us."
Black-lined jade eyes were cautious, their gaze sweeping the vicinity that seemingly faded in from the darkness. The beautiful stained glass portraits had been marred with webs of black cracks. Something rocky crunched under his boot. He moved his foot, those eyes turning down to small shards of colored glass that littered the ground beneath him. Some of the shards tumbled and clanked as they rolled out from under his feet. He had been moving slowly, taking in the imagery, and the ruinous beauty before him. There were several hooded folk along the broken glass tapestry, and he wouldn’t have noticed the one crying in the corner if she’d been silent. It was a note, but one he’d come back to in a minute. First, he was trying to understand these particular images. Maybe they could clue him into specific memories that could help them.
Suddenly she moved. It was quick, anxious behavior, and it caused his gaze to snap from the cracks he’d been looking at and directly at her. Even with that thick black hood covering her features it was not hard to tell whom it was who looked back at him. And not juste because they were on this Dive. In his life as a Nobody, Lea had become familiar with the stature of each and every Organization member: the way the cloak wrapped around each person. Their movements were enough to clue him in. Even her shoes were indicative to him. And if all that wasn’t enough, her voice confirmed it.
He’d have spoken first, but the Moogle piped up in his mind far too quickly for him to get the first word out. He listened to what Artemecion had to say, considering what he could do with that information, and then his attention snapped back to the present.
“Xion!” The tone Lea used showed a certain level of excitement, but also a soft worry. Whom had she been to him?
“It’s me… Axel!” Yes, it wasn’t his CURRENT name. But it would be the one she knew him by.
She would need more than just his name to remember. “We had Ice Cream together: all three of us. On the Clock Tower, watching the sunset.” He sensed she wasn’t getting it, and he scratched at the back of that mane of red spikes. There was an impatient, low-level irritation at the situation. Not toward Xion or anyone else, just at the predicament. And his feet were itching to jump into this! “Listen, don’t worry about it. We’re not here to hurt you or your memories: we came to help you put them back together.” It was true. Maybe he hadn’t come on a mission to collect the pieces of a glass jigsaw, but they had come to restore Xion to wholeness, and he was open to whatever that looked like.
