In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Marmadue turned to look at Shaizen as he kept walking, listening as the man started listing out many reasons why he felt the Sandlot should be dealt with. Nothing he could disagree with, honestly, but still… There was just so much to do, he didn't even know where one would start! Not to mention how dangerous the damaged buildings could be if – or when – they finally fully toppled over. But Shaizen… Was almost desperately searching for something to do, his meaning in Twilight Town. Some managed to find their place quickly, but everyone wasn't so lucky. Perhaps… He could understand that. Where would he be himself now, if he did not have the ability to heal others?
It was clear that the area surrounding the Sandlot was already quite damaged – recent too, with more rubble around that no one had gotten around to clean yet. It seemed like there was a clear path the large Heartless had taken too, the narrow streets having suffered quite the beating as something so big forced their way through. And the Sandlot itself… Well, luckily, it had been a wider clearance to begin with. But if there had been sand in it like its name suggested, not much of such could be seen by now. It was clear that it had been a battleground. The stone pavement was cracked and ruined, surfaces had suffered blows and were singed in places, and the buildings… Well, there weren't many that surrounded the Sandlot that still stood. It was quiet – and to Marmadue, the air felt quite heavy.
Perhaps an optimist could think that there now was more room in the middle, once the remains of ruins were cleaned up.
"…As I mentioned earlier, it is rather… Ah. It is in quite the state of disarray," the Yuke said after a pause, having stopped to just stare at the sight in silence after the two had reached their destination.

Shaizen’s first thought upon glimpsing the ruins of the Sandlot mirrored that which Marmadue had been saying. Damaged buildings were one thing, but this place looked as though it had been damaged destroyed multiple times and then used as a place to store debris. It was clear that this was one place that the Heartless had come through, and with very little if any mercy. Shaizen had put in his work over the years helping clear out ruins of Luniel, but this is something that would take more than just a little team to clear.
“Well, I guess I see what you mean now. The Sandlot is uh… well… less than livable in this state. And that is putting it nicely. If I were to make this place my home, it would definitely take more than just myself to clear it out.”
He would look around the area a little more, realizing more and more that the Sandlot world be something that might take a good majority of Twilight Town to clear out. Shaizen had doubts that many would come out this far from the main area of Town just to clear out an area that seemed to be a spot already set for destruction.
“Maybe we should look elsewhere. Leave this place as a last resort. This will take quite a few to clear out, and there are very few who would venture out here just to clear it out. Worst comes to worst I will clear it out myself, no matter how long it may take. It’ll at least keep me busy, and possibly give me some materials to MAKE a little shelter.”
"And dangerous. I lack the knowledge of a carpenter, but considering the damages… I doubt these ah, larger buildings have the strength to stand for very long," Marmadue mused, his gaze on the ruins. It wouldn't be good to be standing nearby once they finally toppled over… And it especially wouldn't be good to try to take refuge in them! Of course, maybe someone with more knowledge could say whether or not they were safe, or find a way to repair them before it was too late… But that someone was not him.
The two of them still agreed: it was going to take a lot of time and manpower to get everything cleaned up. The Yuke did give Shaizen a sideways glance when the man in question claimed the worst case scenario being cleaning everything up on his own, no matter how long it took. That most likely would have taken years… "Ah. Yes. Elsewhere," Marmadue gave a little nod and turned around, walking back to where they had originally been heading, "I am certain you can find ah, suitable walls to protect you, without having to build them. …Perhaps a hole or two might require fixing."

Shaizen glanced at Marmadue as he spoke about other buildings being in better shape. These words were true. While this place would have been ideal for training, it was not very likely a place that could be considered livable. Even if they had the manpower to clean the area, it was unlikely they had the time to complete such a task.
“Very well then. Let us go. As much as I would like to make this place livable, I doubt we have the time. Not with the Heartless roaming around as much as they are. Be to dangerous of a task.”
Shaizen realized that he might have to just settle for a place for himself. At least for now. It was very unlikely the there would be an large enough area to train large groups like he wanted. The town was just ruined far too much by the Heartless for there to be any areas like that.
“For now let's just see if there is a small place for me to call home. Doubt we will find a large area like what I was talking about. And even if we did it will be packed with others already. For how many survivors there are, it is highly unlikely that they wouldn’t have done so.”
"It is true that ah, Twilight Town has been quite densely built," Marmadue nodded as Shaizen mentioned how it might be difficult to find something large that suited his purpose. There must have been quite the population before… Before whatever that had reduced the town into its current state had happened. Even now, many new residents had made their way in. Many of the streets were narrow with not that much space. Perhaps, if one ventured further to the outskirts, there could be more space… But it wasn't like Shaizen could just go in the middle of nowhere, either. He needed to be close enough so in case something happened, he could get to many places as soon as possible, right?
"…Walls can be demolished, of course – assuming that they are ah, not load-bearing. Expansion would not be out of the question if that is the case. Perhaps it is more important to focus on location," the Yuke offered, looking at the man. Compromises had to be made, but it didn't mean they couldn't find a good starting point that was able to evolve into something more to Shaizen's liking. It seemed like Marmadue remembered something, his back straightening. "Ah. And there is a forest. A dark and dreary place, densely packed, but… Perhaps more ground could be found there for training purposes, if not within the contains of this town itself?"
