In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The honking of a car horn roared louder than the quiet and constant mechanical rumble of passing vehicles. Neon lights shined in colorful contrast to the pastel evening sky. She felt a few people brush past her and hurry down the sidewalk, and a flock of birds flapped past, heading into the sunset, and her lungs took in a breath full of San Fransokyo's mixed air.
The constant hustle and bustle of the city, while overwhelming to some, was a welcomed change. Twilight Town had been so desolate, a pin drop could have been heard from yards away. Here, much of the noise was drowned out between the quiet, constant chatter of a world in motion.
The knick-knack store she was passing had a sign displaying their newest food item: green tea cheesecake mochi. She smirked, considering it. What a delightful looking... thing! She pulled out her coinpurse, checking to see if she'd made enough of the local currency lately to perhaps pick up a couple for a snack. According to the posted price, if she were reading it correctly, she did, so her hand reached for the handle and she pulled the door open. A small bell chimed as the door opened, and the soft evening light cast a long shadow across the store floor.
A pounding sensation reverberated through Entheory’s skull and increased in volume as the darkness dissipated and she opened her eyes. Loud bustling sounds and voices were like pin pricks in the back of her neck and made her slightly nauseous. If that wasn’t enough, the whiplash from the drastic change in scenery sent her to a nearby trash can where the feeling was relieved.
After gaining some composure, Entheory tried to take in the city where she found herself. It was a stark difference from her homeworld. It was noisy and gray. The smells were harsh and metallic. What little greenery there was was surrounded by concrete. So many people…everywhere. It was an abrasive transition which quickly overwhelmed the pastel clad brunette.
Taking deep breaths and fighting back crocodile tears, Entheory grounded herself and walked along the sidewalk until she found an empty bench in front of a small store with pastry smells coming from inside. The smells made her belly growl and luckily, she had packed a few snacks in her backpack. She took out a blackberry cobbler bar that is sold in a small bakery from her homeworld. She took a bite and a tear escaped down her flushed cheek.

"Thank you," was her last comment to the shopkeeper as she gave the old lady a kind wave, then turned her attention to the bag in her hands for a moment. She couldn't wait to try these things! The soft warmth from the evening sun was a gentle comfort against her skin, and her attention shifted to where she could hunker down to take a bite relatively out-of-the-way. There was a bench, but it looked occupied. She was about to pass the girl on it entirely when she'd noticed that she was crying.
It wasn't the type of thing that should have been her problem, and it definitely might have been over-stepping things here, but she decided to act upon it anyway. "Hey," her voice made a gentle plea for attention. "It's probably not my place to ask, but are you okay?" Era hoped she didn't seem pushy; sometimes she cared about people a little too much, and then things just became awkward. Maybe this would turn out to be one of those times...
in her mind, she sighed to herself for being this way. Outwardly, she looked composed, and she hoped she expressed some iteration of how caring she felt, without being intrusive.
Entheory hadn’t quite finished chewing her first bite of her berry filled treat when she heard a voice say hey. Looking up from her self pity, she locked eyes with a girl that seemed around her age. Embarrassed someone caught her crying, she wiped away her tears and swallowed the remaining food while a soft shade of red crept up her neck and across her face.
The polite question from the other girl made emotion well up inside Entheory’s chest but fortunately she was able to hold back the watery weakness this time. Before answering the shorthaired girl, she mulled the question over. For a split second she wanted to spill out the whole situation to the kind stranger but something pulled her back making her realize that it probably wasn’t logical to go around talking about magical giant keys appearing out of thin air to random strangers.
Instead of the truth, she smiled a half smile and said, “Oh, that’s ok. I just arrived here and I’m kind of confused how and why. Slightly disoriented by how different this place is than my home. It’ll be ok though.” She gave the other teen another half smile then proceeded to wrapping up her food and put it away.

With the larger world, it was harder to tell if Entheory was just from out of town, or off-world. With Era's exposure to how all this worked, and knowing that they'd been relocated to a safer place, Moogles included, she was inclined to believe that this girl was from another world. It made sense, since the Moogles were here, that San Fransokyo would be the new Sanctuary World. With that in mind, it only made sense where this girl was coming from.
Era remembered the whelming sensation of waking up so long ago; her story might have been a bit different, because for the longest time, Era really didn't remember where she'd come from. Even now, many of the details were questionmarks and blank spaces in her mind. Still, remembering her arrival in Traverse Town brought up feelings she thought that might be similar to what this stranger must have been going through. How many years had it been since then?
Idly, she felt her neck, but her necklace remained absent. Still, the gesture brought her attention fully to the present again.
Taking the liberty of opening up the little goodie-bag, she offered one mochi ball to Entheory, and took a seat next to her. "It's a bit of a doozie, isn't it? I think it's always like that a little bit." It wasn't really a comfort, but it was honest.
Entheory politely declined the mochi ball, “Oh, thank you but I just had a snack.” She smiled wearily at the other girl and rested her eyes on her hands fidgeting in her lap. The short haired girl’s question confused her a bit and her expression shifted to reflect that.
Looking back up at into the ice blue eyes with her own brown ones, Entheory asked what she meant. “Are you also from somewhere else? Were there…uh..nevermind ha,” she asked with a little excitement but settled down realizing what she was about to ask might have sounded crazy. Maybe she hit her head or something and imagined all of the shadows and Keyblade. It was certainly more believable.

It was no big deal that she wasn't taken up on her random snack. Maybe it was a bit strange to have a stranger offering food. She went ahead and put it back in the bag, resorting to having a snack for later.
Then she bit into the small snack in her right hand, eyes lighting up with delight at the flavor. !! That was better than she'd expected! It didn't take long for her to realize that maybe that show of emotion seemed a bit weird for the present conversation, and she softly chuckled, embracing a bit more of a somber tone.
Her gaze flicked up to the dusk-colored sky. It was strange to suddenly remember images of her home world, when for so long she'd only been drawing blanks. Strange to see a home world in her mind that felt equally familiar and distant.
Caribbean frost eyes turned back to Entheory after a moment of reflection. "I am. Although I still can't tell you its name." Something whispered to her that it was like - Spi.. Spire... She didn't quite have it, though.
"Were there... ?" She didn't mean to pry, but she really was interested on where Entheory was going with this. Honestly, the chances of her remembering specifics, well - she'd just have to test her newfound and somewhat patchy memory, she surmised. Memories did have a way of cropping up in the most unexpected ways.
