In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It had been near three weeks since the latest batch of refugees had arrived from the ill-fated Twilight Town. Seo-Yeon had presided over them to ensure they had adequate resources, medical care, and time to rest. Given what they'd gone through in their time in a near-apocalyptic setting, it was the least she could do. Her charity was offered with the promise that, when she needed their help, they would come to their aid to defend San Fransokyo. And, though the barrier held, and the few Heartless that got through were eliminated with swift prejudice, humanity was oft the root of evil in the world.
And no charity work came without strings attached.
Several members of her crew were sent to the Twilight Town base, looking for capable fighters, magic users, and those with a disposition of stealth. A problem, as explained to them, had arisen amongst the underbelly of the city. Refugees from other worlds were being mugged, their resources taken, and a calling card left behind, emblazoned with a neon dragon. Seo-Yeon needed somebody to investigate a lead they'd gotten, a base they had found in tailing a masked figure through the city. Scoping it out, figuring out what was going on, would greatly benefit her group in their aid.
But another complication arose in the time between the request and when those who accepted would arrive. Where the old school auditorium where her and her squad resided would typically consist of people working out logistics or relaxing to the low drone of bass, there was silence, and weapons drawn. Seo-Yeon was among them, Keyblade in hand, barking orders and sending her crews running. In seeing the refugees, she stopped what she was doing, and waved them over.
"I don't have a lot of time to explain, things escalated quickly in the time it took to bring you here. One of our members and a number of refugees were taken, and we need to act quick. They've threatened the school itself, so I need to stay behind and hold the fort down, but we know where they are."
She handed them a card, one of the same neon dragon calling cards, and upon turning it over, there was a scrawled message. Two hours. We don't care who comes, we want to see if your best is worthy of taking what belongs to this world.
"I want two of you to go to the docks and confront whoever captured them. I'd expect a fight, for sure. As for the other two, this is a prime opportunity to investigate the warehouse we managed to find and sneak in. I'll send a squad with you to the location, but from there, we need as many men as we can get. I'll let you figure out who will go, and then we'll work from there. But make it quick."

OOC:
Each of the two missions will be a two-man excursion, consisting of Hostage Situation and Breaking & Entering. The respective threads will be posted once a sufficient number of volunteers are had, or after a week, where a staff member's character will play a part. For Breaking & Entering, dice rolls will be made to determine what information the PCs perceive in their quest via staff posts, and will force them to be adaptive to the situation. Hostage Situation will be entirely combat focused.
Please respond below with your character's name, and what thread they would like to join, then ping staff in the tag box on Discord.
