In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Finished Velum's request... I have the anatomy figures sketched for the other three requests that people are waiting for... Though, I am feeling a tad lazy and, once more, apologize for any of my inconvenience. Again, as stated in another one of my posts that I had up here in this thread, "the requests will get finished, and that's a god damned promise! D<"
Well... hmmm.... let's see if I can't make this simpler for myself XD
((It's late... I don't feel like explaining things too elaborately))
For digital art... I start off with the base drawing, either traditional or digitally sketched first.... For now, I'm going to use a traditionally sketched item as my example....
I open them up in Photoshop CS3 and start working on it.
Next, I start to add the first touches, and for me, that's usually done on a separate layer... HOWEVER, THIS PICTURE IS AN EXCEPTION... mainly because I was really lazy to keep pressing the Ctrl+Shift+N every now and then to create a new layer.
As you can see in the above picture, I'm getting the hair details and whatnot said and done.... Now in this next picture... I have all the character panels done, and have saved the middle, battle panel for last.
As you can see, I have this odd blending thing going on, which usually just consists of three colors when I'm coloring them digitally. Rarely ever will I use a fourth or fifth color for highlights and shadows. For hair, it is different, as light affects hair differently than, say, clothing or skin.
For blending the colors, I of course, use the blur tool, usually set at 56px, depending on how big the image is.... and all my shadings and colorings are on SEPARATE layers. Each of them... unless of course, the two colors that are on the same layer, do NOT TOUCH EACH OTHER IN ANY WAY.
And finally finishing it up... I add all my nice little details and what have you... the shading underneath the Pokémon created by using the burn tool and some of the additional highlights made by using the dodge tool.
So... that's pretty much it for digital work...
Going traditional and only traditional... I start off with the base drawing with my anatomy structure and basic placing and movement.
((Taking the Valanto rough as an example))
Then, I ink it with a ball point pen (Pilot Gel ink), because I fail and don't have official, pro, artist's pens.
Again... just an example... but this is what my drawings look like after it's been inked, sit to dry and has had all the pencil markings erased away... Then... I have Prisma Colored Pencils and Markers... not to mention my Copic markers... which I combine and use together... and usually, again, I mix only about three colors together for my blending... and I don't use the Colorless Blender that I have that comes with the copic markers, as it makes things look rather splotchy.
Um... I suppose, if you have any questions or anything that you're not clear on, just ask me and I'll try my hand at answering them the best I can. ^_^;;
^_^;; Hehe... don't worry... I'm going to be opening up my requests rather soon... the other three that I have left at going to be scanned in this weekend and I'll probably be taking requests once again.... However, I also may not, seeming as work at the zoo has actually become more... um... tiresome than it used to be for myself, as te director has assigned me some new jobs to do. *now has the entire reserve area to herself every weekday morning* D| And there's my homeschooling that I've kind of been slacking off on for the past few days... so once I'm caught up on that... then yeah, I'll re-open my requests. Shouldn't take too long, and again, I apologize for any inconvenience ^_^;;
@xena
Silly? ^_^;; *can only imagine the Rose or Crayola coloring pencils to be silly*
*coughcough* I mean, whut?
@sage
Yes, Icy is still on the list, in fact, the rough is actually still in my purple art board that I have.... I'm actually going to have to redesign the wings, as they are just... blech.... But yes, I'm still getting to that, and I'm not sure if I'm going to actually finish him either traditionally or digitally yet. I've been toying with both ideas.
Anyways, I got all the requests done... I got them all scanned in.... Now they are just waiting for approval from the respective requestees~

Tristin
Sorry if this isn't the way that your character actually looks, Trist, but... I wasn't really clear on the description... and merely only assumed that he was shirtless... mainly because I wasn't given a description of him even having a shirt on... so... um... yeah.... I hope that I got everything else right... if not... I'll redo it... I have no problem with it.

Please tell me how you want me to color it... if at all....
And for general stuff I'm working on... I guess... eye candy?
