In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"You're kidding right babe? I've been holding back, I'm just getting started!" Braig smirked as she made her plans..the Heartless did not attack, and this only furthered his own plans. They were still there. He called them back with a snap of his fingers, and they scurried back to him.
He reached down one by one...poking them in the head with an Arrow, absorbing their dark energies, until they were nothing but a normal shadow, melting into Braig's own. Now armed with three Black arrows, glowing blue around them. It was a new trick to say the least...but energies could mix and combine. By the time this small stunt was done, Relena sent her wave..the Spheres now coming back at Braig, like a giant wall. Was she even using her head?
The wall came quite quickly..but not quick enough, as Braig stepped back, into one of the many teleportation holes that had been created by his arrows, now instantly up in the air, he pulled back the string of the bow..releasing the three Shadow arrows..Something special about these, but Relena would find that out soon enough, as they drew closer to her, he spoke."Circle her.."
And the Arrows did as he commanded...Not only were they made of his energy, but also the energy of the Shadow heartless...which gave him the ability to command them, but being mixed with his own energy, it was like they were on voice command. Relena could try, but it would be useless.
As he did before, another volley of Teleportation arrows...3/10 of the Arena floor now covered. "Front, Left, Right!" The arrows then made the three simultaneous attacks, rising into the air, and zipping quickly around into position, before screaming through the air towards her from the three sides, While he began charging his energies from the air into an arrow that continued to grow in size..

Just getting started. She narrowed eyes searching for several possibilities. Sure he maybe had more moves to use, but for now she saw that this was it for him. Anything he used had to be in different formations. She watched as he absorbed a Shadow into his arrow, a fact that made her heart sink. He fired two more after that one, an arrow from each Heartless. She saw that now he could command them, now their weapons each took commands from their wielders. She commanded them to stop as they came at her, but to her dismay they continued on going. Her shield split up into three small targets. They had to hit the arrow right on to stop them, or else Relena would get hit. Each new shield was about the size of a coaster giving her an even bigger reason to be precise when stopping the arrows. They split up now, each one in front of each arrow. To her satisfaction each arrow fell to the ground and she realized that they both had virtually the same weapons now.
If Relena's spheres fell to the ground they would simply get back up and go at the target again. Just like that, Braig's arrows would be getting up any time now. She needed to end this. She called her spheres back, they came and formed a solid shield in front of her, this one wide and spread out as the spheres flattened and spread out. Like a butterfly to a cocoon it wrapped around her, closing off her view of the arena. Behind her was the barrier and a light yellow covered the steel shield as it began to charge with electricity. Now if Braig touched it he'd get a nasty shock, or be paralyzed. She was hoping it was the second one. Now the electricity was building up inside the cocoon, the air filling with sparks. The ground was free of arrows, free of portals, there was nothing that could hurt her inside here. She felt Braig's energy, though just enough to feel if her was close or near, high or low, right or left.
Out of her pocket she drew her Lutetium sphere, she couldn't believe she was using it. She'd make sure to later get back at Braig for making her use such a weapon. She'd also have to get back at Braig due to the fact that this round was just the first one, and wasn't supposed to be this hard. She chuckled as she thought about the second round, it would probably be tons easier than this one. She drew more and more power in, her eardrums hurting from all the crackling. Now she needed Braig to show his face and she'd be ready. Elaeus would probably win his first match, and if that was so, he would most likely be very disappointed to see Relena having lost to Braig. As she closed her eyes due to the brightness of the electricity building up she searched mentally for Braig and any other hazards that might be headed her way. She was going to have to finish this quickly.
Braig began to let out an ever-volume increasing chuckle as Relena Shielded herself within her steel. She had lost sight of Braig entirely, she might be able feel him out, but there was one thing that she couldn't actually see...the size of the arrow that had been charging in his bow. The arrow as quite large now, thicker even than Braig's arm, the energies that made up the arrow creating a screeching sound, which Relena would surely hear.
The three Heartless arrows that had been temporarilly stopped, zipped into the air, humming with energy, circling in front of the shield, every now and then zipping into it, creating a small twanging sound. The portals around Braig's feet began to close up, as their energy visibly drifted up, into the arrow, changing the colour to a reddish black. The Arrow, immense in size and energy, would also hold a peculiar effect, should it come to that.
When you had Teleporting portals, which began to mix with the normal energy of a powerul arrow, something has to be done with all of that Spacial energy. Which is precisely what would be happening. The spacial energy would gather into the tip of the arrow, and rather than teleport those who come in contact with it...they would experience something that had happened when Braig first experimented with this, when he fired that arrow that to this day, still zips throughout the Dark XII's home like a Rogue, unstoppable by walls or solid matter, damaging to organic and non-organic material.
This arrow was considerably bigger than that prototype, so Braig could only speculate at the outcome of this one...Only one teleportation gap was left in the arena floor now, and the arrow was fully charged. But he wouldn't risk it, a hit from this arrow would surely kill her, and he didn't come here to kill a comrade.
"Join, and Return!"
The three heartless arrows immediately obeyed, fusing into one larger arrow rather than the three seperate, and zipped to Braig, who upon grasping the arrow, infused it with a little extra energy, changing the colour to a bright golden.. Now he would finally use his Gravity abilities against Relena. "Attack the Steel..Sorry Relena, I know how much you Chicks hate gaining weight..."
The arrow shot forward to make contact with the steel shield that surrounded Relena, resulting in a downward force that was quite incredibly...he had reversed the energy flow that he would normally use to sever the chains of gravity, and instead increased them. And with Steel weighing considerably more than the average human, and in the quantity it took to cover Relena's body...she would feel the full force, as her own weapon began to converge against her, unable to fight against the planetary force of gravity pounding the steel into the ground.
And the moment she tried to open the steel to break away from the force..Braig would be ready, with his immense arrow aimed directly at the steel. He was prepared for everything. Should she attempt to portal out of the steel, he would simply drop into the teleportation gap in the floor below. There was little she could do. There was a reason he was Second in Command, and she was number 12...

The problem with what she had done was trapped herself in, the maneuver she was going for could spell certain death easily, but she wasn't one to die so easily. A screeching sound was echoing throughout the barrier, it was probably worse than all the fizzing in her ear. What could possibly make a noise that horrific? Could he possibly be absorbing energy of some sort, a noise very familiar to Relena, but never this intense. If she were in this steel barrier, how could he possibly think to still attack it? Unless... he had something that could break through it. This was a possibility, but in doing so, he would kill her. Killing her would hurt Braig as well, so then what was he planning to do?
She wouldn't be able to see in here what he was planning. But first she needed to plan this out. She heard a bang on the steel, most likely one of Braig's arrows. Good, her shield was working now and she knew it could hol--Wait, what was this? Her shield began to feel heavier and it was becoming more compressed inside the shield. "Gravity," she whispered, only to have it drowned out by the intense fizzing of the electricity. She doubted it was compressible, which meant only one thing, it might explode her barrier. A grin broke out of her once puzzled face, this was good. Compress water too much and it would explode whatever container it was in, compress electricity and it would do the same, though with more deadly effects.
Braig most likely expected her to be crushed under her own shield, but he forgot that she could shift the metal and make an opening for herself. But wait... he didn't forget, he probably had some destructive arrow trained on her right now for when she escaped. Either that or a mass amount of arrows, similar to her wall of spheres. This was probably the greatest bet, that he would be creating a wall of arrows. That meant that her best option was to take them out all at once. No... because they probably wouldn't get taken out. She looked up from her shield to realize that she didn't have much thinking time left. Well, she better act now. She looked to her palm only to realized that she had one sphere left. The lutetium sphere wasn't struck by the reverse gravity arrow, so she still had a weapon left.
Well, it was time to act now and she knew it wasn't going exactly the way she planned, but she found a way to make up for it. Quickly the shield opened, all the steel making up her spheres now disappearing from her view. This would be it, someone had to win this round. Suddenly all the electricity left, creating a sort of mass shock wave as it fanned out from where it was once contained. It was dull to Relena but she realized that it was like a tinted window to her. She used electricity so often that the brightness of it when she had contained it would have probably blinded someone who didn't use lightning like she did. On one side (Relena's) the wave of electricity showed everything that it separated. On the other (Braig's), it crackled with electricity so intensely that it blocked everything that was behind it. To put it simply, Relena could see Braig, but he couldn't see her.
She kicked off the electrical barrier behind her, sparks following the heel of her boot as she flew forward. She needed to keep up quickly with the barrier if she was to do what she wanted. Braig probably could sense her energy, but by having her so close to the front of the barrier her energy would be mixed up and almost undetectable. She saw in his bow was a huge arrow, one that probably would have shattered her steel barrier into pieces, ones that couldn't be resurrected. Good thing they were out of harm's way behind her. Braig could fire that arrow now, but he would be firing it blindly, guessing just where she would be. It was simple, if her fired it, she could easily evade it, considering that she was slightly to the left instead of dead-center. Even so, she couldn't slow her speed.
Still running closely to the barrier, she saw that Braig had no where to go, unless he planned to portal. Seeing as how he hadn't portalled yet, she figured he wouldn't this whole round. And he didn't have anywhere to go, this electrical wave covered the whole arena, so this time he would surely be hit. Again, he couldn't see her, so he wouldn't be able to move without her following him. And when he got hit by this barrier, his muscles would probably freeze up for a second, giving her enough time to give the finishing blow. That was why she had the lutetium sphere in her grasp, swirling electricity following in a tail behind it. This would be all she needed. It would be twice as fast now, though she didn't know if that meant twice as deadly as before. One thing she did know was that even without electricity, it was still twice as destructive as her normal spheres. The barrier was closing off all escape routes now, and she got ready to get rid of Braig.
Once more, perfectly into his plan. The moment the light filled the area, Braig closed his eyes, still seeing the brightness through his eyelids. With his free hand, he grabbed the blue bandana which was tied across his forehead, and brought it down, covering his eyes, in turn, dulling the light against them. This however didn't improve his vision, but allowed him to prevent himself from being blinded.
She was fast, and the energies within the barrier played mind games with his senses...the crackling of electricity, but she hadn't accounted for one thing...Her footsteps. They clearly rang out against the crackling of the electricity, which rushed towards him. He let out a sigh..he would be hearing from Ansem for this.
He focused his remaining senses, hearing, touch, smell. All of this taking place in seconds. Quite obviously, there was nothing he could do against the electricity, that is, unless he timed it quite perfectly. The air grew drier, the static scent stinging his nose, now was the time. He increased his own gravity, and pointed his arrow down at a diagonal, dropping into the teleportation gap.
Instantly, as the wave of Electricity were to pass over him, he was once more at the top of the Arena, his arrow diverting the electricty away, however sending sparks through his hands, the smell of burning flesh, not only from the Electrical energies, but his own searing energies, filling the arena. His smirk faded, and if his eyes were visible, the look that he gave would cut deep into the being of even Ansem himself. "Strike her spine."
The heartless arrow which had increased the gravity of the steel lifted up into the air, still glowing that bright golden, however matched within the yellow glow of electricity as it hit the barrier, being absorbed into it once more. Braig may not be able to see, but the Heartless arrow does not need to see. There are no eyes on the arrow, it simply knows, and once given a command, the arrow will not stop until it reaches the target, or the command is taken back.
Even if Relena won this match, it would come at a price...the price of mobility. The arrow, which had absorbed enough energy from her own release of Electricity, now had increased Speed, and was already close to the target. When an arrow hits the spine, there are several things that can happen. Total paralization, in which Relena would lose the use of her arms and legs, Partial paralyzation, in which Relena would lose the use of her legs, and with this specific arrow still containing the power of Gravity...complete collapse of the bones..leading to Death.
Braig spat some blood to the Arena floor, and his ears twitched. He heard her, and the screaming sound of the heartless arrow as it sped towards her at speeds that were not comprehendable by the naked eye. He didn't need to see her to hit her with the large arrow, oh no. He lifted his bow and arms directly up, towards where the center of the barrier would be, and released.
The arrow, upon contact with the electrified barrier, shattered into hundreds of smaller arrows, small, but lethal. He wasn't holding one Arrow...he was holding many, compressed. She wasn't the only one who knew of compression, after all..Its all about Space. This was Braig's element. This was his time. The arrows rained down over the entire arena, shattering the floor, sending shockwaves of spacial energy, Debris did not fly from the impact point, but instead, from the top of the arena.
Braig created an orbit around himself, so any rock from the arena floor that came near him would begin to revolve...creating a protection from all else, until he was completely hidden from View..and Relena's spheres, which had covered her, her shield, still affected by the gravity effect...causing a large crater where she was holed up.
"Check.." His voice came from within the circle of rocks, protected by his own Rings of debris. The orb of rock began to descend to the ground, where Braig would emerge, once it was all said and done..and in case she was too stubborn to see she had lost, there was one more surprise in store for her.."Relena, babe, give up now...I can still call off the arrow. Just surrender, and you'll walk out of here fine. If not...Then We'll be short one very radical Chick." He told her, blood slowly creeping down the side of his mouth. His appearance may only show the bruises and burns, but he was quite damaged. He was pushing himself too far, after spending so much energy.
He could continue to create more, but at a price. He had spat out blood, but he wasn't hit anywhere near the mouth..When he increased his gravity to avoid the wave of electricity, it came with the drawback of injuring himself internally. Outside, he was bruised, inside, who knew..
(It indeed is check. Plus I don't want to hear it from other Dark XII people if Relena gets hurt WAY to much)
Hades snapped his fingers and everything stopped. The arrow was inches from Relena's spine. Hades would have let her get hurt this bad, but he didn't feel like a visit from Ansem.
The competitors vanished in a puff of smoke. If they didn't have any idea who won then there are idiots.
