In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Ciraph stood in the center of the coliseum's arena, awaiting his opponent to come out. He'd come here to practice his battle skills since they were getting dull from lack of use.
His claws kneeded the ground as he waited, boredom beginning to set in. He was beginning to grow impatient. He had better things to do. But, for now, all he could do was wait for his opponent to show up.
Tch. Being summoned like this...by some goat creature. How degrading. Kuja walked into the arena and much to his surprise saw a Dragon. Letting out a laugh Kuja remembered the last Dragon he dealt with. Bahamut, the King of the Dragons. King? Yeah right, such an easy beast he was to tame.
Forming a Blizzaga in both hands Kuja didn't want to wast anytime. He fired them off followed by a series of protect spells in this order. Protect, Shell, then Reflect. Very important order.
Ciraph kept his eyes on his opponent as he entered the arena, watching him as he moved into the arena. The dragon gave a nod to the man as he walked in.
Then, the man started charging Blizzaga spells. Reacting before he could send them, he used shatterheart to disable him, preventing him from moving and then took to the air over his head, spewing out flames at him as shatterheart began to wear off.
Kuja could feel something going on in his heart. It felt....like nothing. The reason. Kuja held no Light in his heart. He is a child of darkness.
"A very well played opening gambit my friend. But you shall and must do better to best Kuja. Your future master" Kuja said as the flames hit the Reflect spell and splintered off in different directions. Almost laughing Kuja formed several Ice, Fire, and Lighting arrows around and below Ciraph and gave a flick of the wrist and the spells fired at their masters enemy.
Ciraph spun through the air, dodging the elemental arrows with relative ease. That was what dodging sheets of real arrows through the sky for more than a decade could do. It made one good at it.
As the elemental arrows shot past him, Ciraph cast Protect and Shell on himself to help protect himself from attacks.
"You will have to do better than that if you wish to defeat me, young one," Ciraph said, staying in one place in the air, flexing the fingers left one his one arm. He needed to find a way past the man's defensive spells. Otherwise, he would just have to wait for them to wear off.
Either that, or he could wear them down himself, which would be faster. It would also be more dangerous.
Mentally shaking his head against the idea, Ciraph decided to wait, and started slowly gliding around the arena, watching the man as he did so, waiting for him to make the next move.
Oh, what a surprise. This Dragon spoke. What a fine addition he would make.
"And you as well my flying friend. For I have conquered several Dragons in my time. Including the King of them himself. Bahamut." Kuja announced as he formed more arrows of energy around Ciraph. But if the dragon were to move, these arrows would simply follow for some time. While the energy was being fired at Ciraph, Kuja was already running to a pillar and proceeded to run up it with his great agility and balance.
Ciraph frowned at the man as he mention this "King of Dragons". One thing for sure was that this was not his King. He only answered to Graeldris, the Chief of his tribe.
"I do not know who this Bahamut is, nor why he called himself the "King of Dragons", but I can assure you, he is not my King. The only one I answer to is the Chief of my tribe," Ciraph said aloud, going into a steep dive between the arrows and into a portal of light, the exit shooting him out right into the man, knocking him straight off of the pillar and confusing the arrows so that they lost him and dipersed.
"I can tell you, though, I will be no easy opponent, and I am not one to be conquered so easily. You will have to work to bring me down from the sky," he said.
This man did not seem like he was there for just a friendly sparring match, like Ciraph had initially wanted. No, this man seemed to be there for some other, more serious reason, and he wouldnt' be easily defeated. The white dragon would have to be on his toes for any surprises.
(I'll go with the power play, cause it actually made my post easier)
Being knocked off Kuja did a flip to land vertical on another pillar before leaping to another. He continued to leap between the two pillars till he reached the top of the one he was originally was knocked off of. He gazed at the Dragon and thought of a plan. If being dragged down from the sky is what he wanted. Then so be it.
"Demi" The were but a mutter as the spell of gravity took its place around Ciraph.
Ciraph continued gliding around the arena, keeping his eye on his opponent. When he heard him mutter something, he knew something was going to happen. Thinking he was going to send another barrage of arrows, Ciraph dove once again, this time opening multiple portals of light, four, all straight across from each other, the exits ringing the man in a bright, blinding light.
Cirapg dove into the first portal, not yet noticing the effect of the man's magic, shooting out of it and into the next one that surrounded the small one, coming out of another around the man and shooting from another, again attempting to knock him from the pillars.
"Demi" Kuja said again this time as he jumped away from his spot to land on this smaller pillar below. The spell being aimed at where Kuja was. If this dragon was aiming to get closer and closer. He hoped Ciraph can keep up with him when he is being dragged down by gravity. And if one could see the look on Kuja's face, they would be surprised at the happiness that was spread across it.
" Let us test my new power dragon." Kuja chuckled as he opened up several portals around Ciraph and one in front of himself. Laughing Kuja made Blizzaga and Thundaga arrows fly into the portal in front of him and the arrows began to fly out of random portals around Ciraph.
