In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

((Seed, you misunderstood me...I still had a good amount of mana left. Probably enough for one "ra" spell, and maybe a normal spell...But, if Zedd had kept up the spell casting as he had been, he would have soon ran out of it...))
Suddenly, four walls of fire had rose from the ground, surrounding Zedd! His Haste spell was still active, so he was still extra fast. And, hoping that the walls of fire weren't terribly thick, or solid, Zedd dashed forward, out of the box of the fire. He of course didn't escape without any injuries, his clothes were singed, and in places, on fire. And the majority of his body was burnt. Especially the parts that weren't covered with clothes. So, with his staff still not a sword, he murmured,
"Cura"
Of course, Zedd knew that that single spell wouldn't cure all of his burns, but it would do for now. So, hoping that this time, he wouldn't get blocked by any walls of fire, Zedd dashed forward, preparing to swing his staff at Mikael. In the event that he wasn't blocked by any fire, he would swing at his torso, and at the last second have his staff change into a sword. But, if he got blocked by a wall, then he would stop, and back up, several feet, and just wait, and watch.
(Hmm, I am wondering how the fire that reached Zedd´s clothes was sent away by a Cura spell.)
Mikael widened his eyes in surprise when Zedd came out of his fire cage. Had he turned stupid when he died? The fire user noticed that part of Zedd´s clothes were still on fire. Perfect. His opponent would probably try to send away the fire with a ice spell, a moment of weakness was just what the black haired needed. And when he noticed that the spellcaster was charging toward him, a grin returned to his face.
He sent Dreambreaker and Wishmaker away, becoming weaponless for a moment. If the previous action had made Zedd more confident, the beginning of Phase Two had succeded. When the blond was close enough, Mikael simply did a couple of backflips to avoid the swing. But while he was at the air due to the second flip, two swords materialized into his hands. A red hilted sword was now at his right hand as he landed on the ground. It was beautifully crafted, made from a rare kind of steel. His left hand wielded Path to Mana, a long, blue blade.
"Fire!" he shouted before a fireball was summoned from the tip of the blue blade, heading toward Zedd. However, it was not aiming for his face or arms, it was looking forward to hit his clothes. As soon as the spell was casted, the fire user started to circle his opponent as blue flames coated his blades, waiting for the next attack.
As Mikael flipped backwards, Zedd realized that he had something planned, so he had his sword transform back into a staff. He only had enough mana for a low-level spell at the moment. Hopefully he wouldn't have to cast it right then. Then, as Mikael shouted "Fire", Zedd jumped to the right, effectively dodging the weak, Fire spell. Of course, Zedd's clothes were still smoldering, but after having dropped to the ground, and having dirt all over him now, the fires were now put out. Leaving Zedd with some very hot clothes.
Now, Mikael was circling Zedd, and he had an odd blue flame on his new swords. So, Zedd decided to leave his staff as it was, and keep Mikael in his line of site. Oh, I wish I had more mana...This fight might not last very much longer if I keep this up... he thought, as he stood, watching, waiting.
(*poofs in* Well, I did make a thread at the Departures section where I talked about my absence, but since the next round is already up there is nothing that can be done. Nice fight Doogster!)
