In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Take...a walk with him?
All at once, Naminé's doubts started to stir up inside of her. He's just going to find a place to hurt me, isn't he? I can't...I can't trust him! But she forced the storm back down before it could visibly seethe with logical thoughts: We're already in an alleyway, it would be the perfect opportunity for him to have hurt me already...
Slightly cheered by the thought, Naminé inclined her head slightly. "I...yes, that sounds all right," she replied, her voice still quiet, not portraying how shaken she had been inside a mere moment before.
To give her hands something to do, she clasped them together over her stomach, refraining from twisting them.
(Whoo, we're getting a lot done today! *high-five*)

(yep, *high-fives back*)
"I...yes, that sounds all right,"
Roze stood up hearing that and walked out of the alley hoping she was following. "As you could probably guess from the scent and the name I am a flora heartless. There are not many of my kind and we are sometimes seen as weak but we are all strong in our own way."
Roze ran a hand through his hair and brough it in front of him but there was a rose in it this time. "You're probably thinking I pulled that somewhere from my hair but that is not the case, for you see along with the power of florah I have mastered the ability of materialization. The power to make energy into a physical substance. So do you have any strengths?" Roze said mildly curious. The thing was most people though of pacifist as ones who couldn't fight or didn't know how, that was true for some but not him, he wondered if it was the same for her.

Indeed, Naminé did decide to follow him, but after a moment's hesitation, so she had to hurry to get up. She nearly tripped over her own feet, but soon found herself at a comfortable pace matching Roze's listening with interest at his words.
A flora Heartless? How unusual... but of course, he said there were not many of them. And she believed the bit about them "being strong in their own way." Well, he probably wouldn't have a problem taking her out of a fight, being she had little to zero fighting skills.
She watched, her eyes stretching wide with surprise, when he seemingly plucked that flower right out of his hair. It was incredible, and it incessently reminded her of Marluxia...
No, she mustn't let her mind trail down that path of thought. She would remain friendly with this Heartless, until he proved his friendliness a farce, if ever.
At the question, Naminé let a bit of heat creep up her pale cheeks. She had no physical prowess, but she did have one ability, and one she loathed - to mess with the memories of Sora and his close friends. She did not say this aloud, merely, "I have power over memories," and her quiet tone warned Roze not to ask her to elaborate. It was doubtful he knew of Sora and his friends anyhow...

"I have power over memories."
He stopped walking immediately paranoia creeping into his mind. "That is quite the ability, to alter ones memories. Tell me, how long have you existed as a nobody?" Could it be, that she was somehow the reason that he could not remember anything of his past, why he only had the memories as a heartless and not any as a heartless. The rose he was holding turned blue, an effect from his emotions going awry. Blue represented sadness, paranoia, depression. Whatever her answer was he would not harm her but he would be rather angry causing the rose to change to a bloody red either representing love or anger.

Naminé glanced at Roze curiously when he halted. Had something in her answer upset him? Searchingly, her blue eyes scanned his face.
"Only a few years," the blonde admitted in answer to his question. "Three at most..."
She glanced at him, her eyebrows pulling together in a delicate frown. Oh yes, her answer had definitely thrown him off. She noted that the rose he held was now blue, and wondered what could have possibly - ...
...well...maybe there was something wrong with his memories, and that was why he had reacted so strangely. Did he think that she'd stepped into his mind, rearranged or completely erased things...?
Just to be sure, she added (in addition to her statement on her powers), "There's only very few people whom I hold power over, memory-wise. I doubt you'd know any of them..."

"Only a few years, three at most..."
Roze let out a sigh of relief and the rose changed to a vibrant pink color. He started to walk again at his normal pace "Then I know for a fact that it is not you, for it to even be possible you'd have to have lived longer than a hundred years as a nobody."
"There's only very few people whom I hold power over, memory-wise. I doubt you'd know any of them..."
Roze smiled "So even though you do have a dangerous power it is entirely useless against someone that your powers will not work on. And though you're a pacifist you don't have much of a choice in that matter either do you?" He twiddled with the rose as he was speaking shiftine it between orange, pink, and ivory.

When Roze was relieved, Naminé breathed out a light sigh of a similar emotion. For a moment there, she had been frightened, frightened of what he might do if he became upset. But it seemed that the danger had passed, and she was no longer in harm's way.
The blonde wrinkled her nose in response to his statement. "No, I don't," she admitted. "But, I could learn how to fight (though I'd be awful at it, I'm sure); yet, I still refrain from doing so," she pointed out.
"Oh, not like there's anything wrong with fighting and knowing how!" she added hastily, fidgeting with her dress again and wishing she had her sketchbook. "It's...just...not an avenue I wish to pursue."
She gave him an embarrassed smile and shuffled her feet shyly. They may not see eye-to-eye on this matter, but already Naminé was being more open with him. Was she possibly growing to be friendly to this strange Heartless?

Roze chuckled at Naminé's flustered statement. "Do not worry, I told you I do not believe fighting is right. I simply need to know how to, to fulfill my goal. And that is a good thing Naminé, most people believe they do not have that choice, I am glad you have realized you do." Roze said in a cheerful tone, finally someone actually understood that fighting was not required. He had found a gem among the rocks of the nobodies.

Naminé gave Roze a rare smile - albeit shy - and she timidly tucked a stray blonde lock behind her ear. He only fought because he had to...that made a lot of sense. There was a difference between being dragged into an arena, and walking into it with your head held high, and the Heartless seemed to understand the difference.
But those words - behind her smile, they chilled her slightly. Fulfill his goal...? What could that mean? Was there really some evil intent hidden inside of Roze, one that he kept out of sight...?
Her hesitant smile faded slightly. "Well, there is a big difference," she replied hesitantly. "I can't've been one of the first to notice it..."

"Well, there is a big difference, I can't've been one of the first to notice it..." [/i]
"Yes, but you are one of the few." Roze said. He looked at the girl and noticed the small smile.
"You know you have quite the cute smile." Roze stated smiling cheerfuly. "As I know whenever a heartless is created an exceptionally strong heart creates a nobody, so tell me have you ever met your heartless?" Roze inquired rather curious.

Tendrils of pink wound their way up Naminé's neck and face at Roze's compliment. Within moments, her face was glowing, and coupled with her blonde hair and blue eyes, she looked almost holy.
"Thanks," she murmured, giving another timid smile.
Ah, and then the question moved to her Heartless. Naminé frowned, the heat not entirely gone from her face, and wondered. Did Kairi even have a Heartless...? Actually, it was extremely doubtful; Kairi was a Princess of Heart, and the only reason Naminé had come to exist was through special circumstances. It was highly doubtful that Kairi would have a Heartless.
In answer to the question, however, she merely said quietly, "No, I've not met my Heartless," and did not voice her theory: that maybe she didn't have one.

"Thanks. No, I've not met my Heartless."
Roze nodded his head. "I have a rather personal question, three actually. The first being, what is it like, to not feel emotion, I imagine it is the greatest of curses, I'd almost say that I don't believe such a thing is possible." He took the rose and with a quick movement placed it in Naminé's hair. The rose turned the purest ivory, untainted by any emotion.
"Do not worry the rose will not hurt you. The second, you were afraid when you first saw me, but you didn't know I was a heartless. I am quite sure I have never met you in my life, so tell me what caused that fear?" Roze said curious but caring.
"The final, do you believe that peace is possible among the worlds?" Roze stated with a tone of seriousness.

What is it like, not to feel emotion...
Naminé frowned, pondering that question. Nobodies weren't supposed to feel emotion, yes, that was true. The Organization was proof of that.
But...there'd been instances where there was no word for what went on inside of her, and all that she could come up with was "emotion." Perhaps - being Kairi's Nobody - she had special attributes; similar to her strange power over memories, perhaps Naminé actually could feel, without a heart.
Before she could answer, Roze placed a flower in her hair, a pure white rose that matched her dress. She reached up a tentative finger to stroke one of the petals, as if she were unsure of its existence. "Thank you," she said again, quietly, before looking at him and giving him another smile.
"In answer to your first question..." She hesitated, trying to find words. "...I'm...not entirely...sure that I can't feel emotion... I'm not exactly like other Nobodies," she confessed, her voice muted.
In answer to his second question... "There is someone I know," the blonde said, her lips losing their gentle smile, "that is a bit like you, but much more...ruthless. Naturally, I was...reminded of him."
And the last, a smile graced the porcelain blonde's lips again. "Of course," Naminé answered, chuckling slightly. But then the humor was gone, replaced by seriousness. "Only, however, if everyone becomes whole again..."
She did not elaborate on that statement, merely looked up at the sky, and giving a light sigh. Being whole again would be the most desirable of circumstances, of course... She had to shove that selfishness back, the little voice that told her that maybe she could do more good as her own entity. But that was ridiculous; she was part of Kairi, and she always would be.

"Thank you, I'm...not entirely...sure that I can't feel emotion... I'm not exactly like other Nobodies." [/i]
Roze was intrigued by that statement, "How so, you seem like a normal one basically, no heart, and the emotion rose has remained ivory meaning either good intentions or purity. In fact we'll truly know because it will die within the next few minutes because it feeds off emotion given." He stated smiling but curious.
"There is someone I know, that is a bit like you, but much more...ruthless. Naturally, I was...reminded of him." [/i]
"Hm then you're quite a lucky person to know two flora users. So tell me is he a nobody like yourself?" Roze asked mildly curious and wondering who this man was.
"Of course, Only, however, if everyone becomes whole again..."
Roze chuckled a bit "And what exactly what do you mean by that?" He stated rather seriously materializing another emotion roze and it turned a deep orange.

No...I'm certain I can feel emotion.
She brought her gaze down from the sky to frown slightly. She'd always had a sort of sense of right and wrong, different from nearly every Nobody she knew, except for Roxas...
She smiled slightly at the thought of him, a light blush grazing her cheeks, and she was careful to let her blonde hair swing in front of her face, successfully hiding it.
Yes, she'd suspected for a long time that she - and Roxas - were able to experience true emotion. Perhaps dwindled from that of someone with a real heart, but nevertheless, they were true; she believed it had everything to do with that her Somebody was a Princess of Heart, and Roxas's Somebody was the - a - Keyblade Master. Of course, Sora's no longer the only one...
"Maybe your rose cannot detect a Nobody's emotions," she murmured quietly, "being that many believe they have none."
Instantly, Naminé was ashamed of herself. She sounded ridiculously like Xemnas, trying to trick people into thinking that he had emotions when in reality, he probably didn't.
But I do, don't I...? Would it be possible to feel this much confusion if I didn't...?
"Yes, he is a Nobody," came her second reply, but she winced whenever she thought of Marluxia, so she hoped he was tactful enough not to pursue the subject.
And lastly, she did not reply at all, merely directed her gaze back to the ground. He'd probably be able to work out what she meant for himself - all Nobodies reunited with their Somebodies.
If he asked again, though, she would tell him what she meant.
