In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"Home? I take it Twilight Town isn't your home. Samael mere nodded at its correctness. Twilight Town definately wasn't home-- well the part he knew of. Home was the DeSalle, a family where he would've lived in servitude all of his life. If they would've knew of how destructive he could be, Victor DeSalle could've been sent to the Arena, a collesium where mutants battled each other out of entertainment for the wealthy, who place gambled. They could fight by the first blood drop, first knock-out, or death.
Being seen as a useless dud, he was a tortured slave on the softest end. Others had recieved far worse then Victor, who was sold to a family at infancy to a family who was hard to please. He became Samael when the DeSalle was too frightened by his sudden surge of florakinesis and sold him to Dr. Schnieder. They never bought him a repressing collar, because it took years for his abilities to show. He could've passed as a normal human during that time.
With the Doctor in the institute, he was treated well--as well as one would to an experiment. They would do as much as they can until they either pushed Samael to his limit or he fell unconscious. With them, he was strictly science. At times he would have "conversations" with his true master, but most of the time it was discipline for his resistance, praises for his good progress, and a bit of small talk. Home was a routine of being a puppet, a servant.
"How unfortunate." Indeed it was. How would one expect people like Samael to cope and quickly evolve in an alien world a freedom when they never tasted it or experienced it before? That's why mutants like Samael barely rebelled out of freedom; they never knew what freedom was.
"Then you are much like myself boy," Samael looked up to him wounding were they truly alike. A small light of hope flickered if he and this winged shared the same confusion. Or were they similiar in a different light?
"I do not hail from this land either. So tell me, did darkness take your world or did you arrive here by some other mean?" His hope was dropped like a fly. The red winged probably didn't feel an eighth of what Samael had, but perhaps they both can relate to seperation from their world. Brows furrowed at the next questions from both of them.
"How did you come here. "
What was this darkness he spoke of?
"My insolence and disobedience brought me here. If I obeyed like I was expected to and should've done, I wouldn't be here. I thought that...they sent you," he looked at Genesis," to retrieve me, but...I see that's not the case." His eyes began to water after officially admitting that his hope was a foolish one. "They probably want me to stay here in punishment for my stupidity and for not following the sole rule of life for others like me: obey thy master and mistress. I would rather accept their scorn and burns," he pulled the collar of his shirt to reveal burns that surrounded a collar, "then be so..lost and...alone."
The collar would've activated and shock him for using his vines earlier, but being so far from home caused the connection to be severed completely. It was now a memory of where he came from.
"My insolence and disobedience brought me here. If I obeyed like I was expected to and should've done, I wouldn't be here. I thought that...they sent you,"
Hmm. Marluxia stood there analyzing what Samael had said. By the sound of it, the Assassins assumption of him being a slave was correct. But what really got XI's attention, was that Samael said "they" and not "he or she". Was there a group of people hunting down people like Samael? Were they flying people as well? Marluxia thought so when he put the boys reaction to Genesis' wing and "they sent you".
They probably want me to stay here in punishment for my stupidity and for not following the sole rule of life for others like me: obey thy master and mistress. I would rather accept their scorn and burns,"
Marluxia looked back to Samael and saw that his eyes were watering. This boy has seen some terrible things.
"Did darkness take your world or did you arrive here by some other mean?"
Great. The Heartless have attacked another world. XI didn't want to bring up talk about that in front of Samael. It would only scare him more. Right now the boy needs some reassurance.
"I am sorry for the way you have been treated before. If you don't mind, I would like to show you, both of you, this town."

"My insolence and disobedience brought me here. If I obeyed like I was expected to and should've done, I wouldn't be here. I thought that...they sent you, to retrieve me, but...I see that's not the case."
Genesis was rather curious at that remark "And who exactly are they?" Surely there people didn't have wings... but then again he was from another world, maybe it was a common trait.
They probably want me to stay here in punishment for my stupidity and for not following the sole rule of life for others like me: obey thy master and mistress. I would rather accept their scorn and burns, then be so..lost and...alone."
"Do not be a fool! No one has the right to treat someone in such a way whether or not they're different. Though I may be a monster I could at least understand that being a servant was worse than being by myself. You should consider it a blessing to be rid of them!" Genesis' anger had sparked at that remark, being a monster did not make you lesser than them in any way.
Genesis sighed "...I'm sorry for that, normally I'm in control of my emotions." That was the only apology he would get from him, the boy needed to learn that life in solitude was better than in servitude.
"I am sorry for the way you have been treated before. If you don't mind, I would like to show you, both of you, this town."
Genesis chuckled at that "Do not mistake me for someone who has recently arrived, I arrived in a different world than this 10 years ago. Though I only began travel recently I know of the other worlds. This is a relatively new world to me so I will take your offer though. But before we begin, have you heard of a man by the name of Sephiroth?" He questioned this because he still had not managed to find him, but he felt, no he knew that he would meet him soon.

"And who exactly are they?"
Samael gave Genesis a side glance, "They are like the people around us, the boys who tried to take my flower; they are humans-- ordinary people."
Something Samael said had triggered something in Genesis to erupt at him, "Do not be a fool!" His head whipped around looking at him with full attention. Another tear fell from his face.
"No one has the right to treat someone in such a way whether or not they're different. Though I may be a monster I could at least understand that being a servant was worse than being by myself. You should consider it a blessing to be rid of them!"
The mutant looked away from him, but he could still hear his apology. "Actually,...where I'm from enslavement of mutants is a law. Like I've been taught, it's the way things are, or how they would put it 'completely normal'. That's why I thought they sent you here after me. There are plenty of winged where I'm from as well other mutants: elementals, beserkers, time treader, anthromorphs, technopaths, clairvoyants, and telepaths. You shouldn't feel sorry for me. I brought this upon myself."
"Your anger is quite understandable coming from one who had experienced freedom. You may call it a blessing, but for me it's a curse. I've been born and raised into it, and I have strangely grown accostumed to it. It's a curse to not know what to do, where to go, and how to do it. It's a curse to finally make what they called decisions after having everyone of them be made for me. Other mutants are lucky to have motivation to break away; I never had that; I've been trained and raised not to."
Samael fiddled with his collar. His tinted burnt skin underneath begain to itch. A violet butterfly landed on his shoulder before being absorbed into the burnt skin to heal it. While healing himself, he finally heard the pinkette speak again, "I am sorry for the way you have been treated before. If you don't mind, I would like to show you, both of you, this town."
"Do not be a fool! No one has the right to treat someone in such a way whether or not they're different. Though I may be a monster I could at least understand that being a servant was worse than being by myself. You should consider it a blessing to be rid of them!"
Well, well, well. Marluxia wasn't expecting an answer like that from Genesis. It would appear that both of these people have had events in their lives. Today could prove to be a very profitable day indeed.
"It is quite alright to show emotion. Especially if it's about a past you have strong dislike in. Your words sound like ones of a true visionary, though neither of you are alone in your hopes of being free. All those you see around the various worlds of this universe wish to be free. Monster or not, freedom is essential."

I brought this upon myself."
Marluxia pondered on this a bit. In these worlds there are people, Heartless, and Nobodies. All of which have powers that they were born with naturally or obtained in some way. But from the words of this boy, his world was filled with a breed of humans with a genetic trait that allowed them these powers. And the normal ones, fearing what power the mutation could bring, enslaved them. A typical human thing to do. All they ever want is their own safety. Even if it means to cast away others.
Marluxia looked back down at Samael and said, "There are many people like yourself who roam around here and others places. But they are free to do what they want, free to live the way they want to. You may consider it a curse now, but you'll find that freedom is all the more worthwhile to have. Now. Were would you like to go first in this town?" XI was disgusted at how he was acting AND talking. When he sensed this boy arriving, he assumed that his personality would match his own. Now the complete opposite has happened.
"But before we begin, have you heard of a man by the name of Sephiroth?"
....Sephiroth. The One Winged Angel. Anyone who has NOT heard of this man is a fool. His power is not one to be toyed with. Not even members of the Organization would dare attack this man without help. Marluxia narrowed his eyes and answered in a stern voice.
"I have indeed heard of this Sephiroth. Though he goes by the name One Winged Angel now. Long silver hair, sword longer then his own body. Power that exceeds almost the gods. If that is the man you talk of, then yes. He resides in the world known as Radiant Garden."

"You are quite correct, but there is always a goal before either of those, and there are only 2 goals of a monster, the worlds destruction, or revenge. I have chosen the latter. I believe Sephiroth had chosen the former. Or maybe it was a combination of both either way I will take back what he stole from me." Genesis kept a calm tone in his voice and stopped charging his magic for homing, he saw that it would not be needed.
"Your anger is quite understandable coming from one who had experienced freedom. You may call it a blessing, but for me it's a curse. "Then you will simply have to learn to adapt I'm quite sure you'll enjoy the freedom you have now sooner or later. And no matter how much training one is put through to not have freedom the urge always remains somewhere deep within." Genesis ran a hand through his hair before placing it back in his pockets
"I have indeed heard of this Sephiroth. Though he goes by the name One Winged Angel now. Long silver hair, sword longer then his own body. Power that exceeds almost the gods. If that is the man you talk of, then yes. He resides in the world known as Radiant Garden."
Genesis smiled at that "Just as I thought, I had searched their once and hadn't found him, I will simply have to check once more. As for his power, do not consider it godly for me and him were both in SOILDER both 1st class and were once even friends. Though we came from 2 different experiments, mine was project G, I was considered a failure while another friend was considered the perfect human if you could call us that. While Sephiroth was of project S, they sought to create the true perfect being. They suceeded, they had created the perfect being, the perfect monster, Sephiroth. I have almost as much power as he does and I will defeat him and kill him, the first reason for him taking my fame, the 2nd he destroyed our world." Genesis had paced as he talked, a trait he couldn't get rid of.
"My soul, corrupted by vengeance Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey In my own salvation And your eternal slumber" Genesis recited, the verse was a favorite of his and always had been.

Samael had drank their words in through his roots, and perhaps their nourishment would lead to a blossoming of a brand new flower. Even so it will take time and effort of care to get Samael to that point. They were both right in his amber eyes, and he couldn't think of any way of prooving them wrong. Even if he did, somewhere within him didn't want to dispute with them; actually it was a small speck that was hopeful. The seed was wiggling ready to sprout from it's shell; it was ready for adaptation.
If he could adapt to his enslavement to survive this long, then he could survive this new openess. It would be like a vast garden that he can endlessly roam. He shouldn't take this whether it was a blessing or a curse for granted. Somewhere elsewhere in the endless galaxy was a planet, Solace. There were plenty of mutants who wish to be in Samael's position. If the florakinetic was foolish enough to make a trade, he would have a hard decision to make in who to trade with. If he did it for money, he would be quite wealthy at the his kind's eagerness and desperation. Reflecting back, he remember of a feline, Dulce; in a feline gang she was in, she went by Tiger Lily, but her captives were to fond of her to keep that name. Dulce was a fighter in disguise in sweet seduction; she would do anything to break away. The feline welcomed the painful shocks caused by her collar when she attacked. Unfortunately her hostility only led her to her death. The cat didn't mind though, since Samael was the one to let her go as he fed her the cursed berries.
"She would be ashamed of me if she saw me now acting like this. She would tell me that you're both right, and that I'm being a enclosed idiot. No wonder why she pitied me." His head was bowed down before he lifted it up. "She would want me to move on, because...this is what she always wanted."
Pulling a rose from his air, a ponytail dropped as the long spiked stem that held it was removed. With his dirty delicate fingers, he wiggled the stem underneath is color. The thorns rearranged themselves against the collar befor shooting out. The thorns didn't penetrate all the way through with the technology chips buried inside the collar. The rose regrew their thorns to continue attacking the collar until it fell off.
"Where should we head to? I don't know this place well."
"You are quite correct, but there is always a goal before either of those, and there are only 2 goals of a monster, the worlds destruction, or revenge. I have chosen the latter. I believe Sephiroth had chosen the former. Or maybe it was a combination of both either way I will take back what he stole from me."
This mans mind was seeped in darkness. Something Marluxia could use for his goal. A talk would be needed with him later. But now, Samael is in need of a tour. But before XI began to name off the places in this town he walked over to Genesis and said to him silently,
" I would like to have a chat with you later. More or less about you yourself. I feel that your mind is in the right place, but I feel like you haven't seen the bigger picture of the worlds around you. Truth is....a war is on the verge of happening. Any tip in the wrong direction will set it off. Being prepared will surely help you, for there are even more powerful opponents then Sephiroth out there."
Turning back to Samael, Marluxia put on a forced smile. He would have to let out some frustration later to get his mind back in place.
"Well. There are many places in Twilight Town. Though some places are inhabited by people who only want to harm people. Like this Seed person I've heard so much about. And---" Marluxia cut himself off as he sensed a presence drawing near. Not a person...but..Heartless??!
Within a second several Shadows and Neo-Shadow Heartless had surrounded them in a circle. Great. Summoning Graceful Dahlia Marluxia asked sarcastically, "You know how to fight right?"

Genesis nodded "I did not know of the war but I know there are stronger people then Sephiroth. And it would be the 2nd war I was involved in, though it was finished after I had left ShinRa."
He watched as several heartless rose from the ground. He sighed once before taking his hands out of his pocket and drew the rapier attatched to his belt which was covered by his trench coat.
"You know how to fight right?"
Genesis smiled at his sarcastic remark "No, do you?" he said with the same amount of sarcasm. He started charging up Flash in his left hand and waved it twice sending 10 fire balls at two of them destroying them. He held up his rapier and kept his hand an inch from it before moving it parallel to the blade causing it to glow white with a red outline.

Samael's eyes wandered over the group of black figures that circled them. Why they were the center of attention was beyond the mutant. Studying his surrounding, he noticed that they were the only one around. Was this some sort of ambush? His brows wrinkled at the unfamiliarity. There was nothing like this at home.
The forget-me-not in his hand grew into a bundle of him as he heard Marluxia,"You know how to fight right?" His mouth opened to reply, but a voice that wasn't his spoke instead, "No, do you?"
Samael decided to keep his mout shut, while throwing the forget-me-nots into the air. The petals stayed elevated as the stems, leaves, and roots fell to the floor. With the wave of his arm, the petals conducted a whirlind as it cut into the heartless and releasing its disorientating scent.
A glow that matched his eyes landed on his shoulder, a yellow butterfly. Soaring down it circled on the floor encourage a dandelion to grow. With the mutation it's a giant compared to what they were. It was something found in Jack and the Beanstalk if there were magic dandelion seeds. The earth quivered as the plant began to grow. It blossomed revealing long yellow petals. The center of the petals had a mouth, which emitted a low growl.
Marluxia let out a slight chuckle at Genesis words. Seeing both Samael and Genesis begin their attacks, Marluxia saw it fit to do the same. Seeing even more Heartless form from afar, Marluxia grasped his scythe with both hands and gathered his energy into the blade. With a mighty swing, Marluxia sent a horizontal beam of pink and black energy out towards the newly forming heartless. It destroyed some of the closer ones before turning into a vertical beam. More and more heartless were appearing. Perhaps this was an ambush.
"Idiotic Heartless..." the Assassin said quietly as he pulled out three rose flowers and tossed them into the air. Shortly afterward they began a laser assault. Then making only three rose petals appear, Marluxia sent them flying at different targets, slicing each one as they connected.

A neo shadow jumped at him before he sliced it in two quickly and held out his left hand causing several glowing swords to appear and went through a single heartless but kept going killing two others. He jumped and span in the air with his sword cutting the ones below him before he slammed it on the ground knocking several of them into the air from the force and causiing the ground to dent. He charged up his hand with Flash bullets and threw them at the 3 in the air destroying them.
He heard a low growl behind him and looked over his shoulder seeing a giant dandelion. He chuckled to himself being somehow reminded of a Malboro from his world. As he had turned around a Neo-shadow had jumped and he sliced quickly destroying it. Genesis jumped back before holding his hand out and mutterred "Tri-Thundaga" sending several powerful blasts of lightning destroying several of them. The alley was clear but he could see several more coming. He could do this all day and started charging another Flash spell.

The dandelion dived down grabbing heartless in its mouth before devouring it. Its sharp barbed leaves swiped like a blade cutting them to pieces. Samael noticed that these creature would simmer away without leaving much of a trace like how a typical body would. Petting the dandelion, he looked around to make sure none won't sneak on him.
The roses stems' wiggled. Like a skilled archerer, it started to shoot it thorns at neo-shadows. It was going off like a gun until it ran around of thorns. With a squirm the thorns started to grow again before taking more shots.
What are these Heartless he speaks of. I know these are it. But what...are...they, aliens?
Marluxia was growing tiresome of this meaning less fight. He knew that as long as one Heartless stayed, others would follow it's scent. They had come here for a specific reason. One XI did not know, but it surely had to do with the attack on the Dark XII's castle. Putting his scythe back into the Twilight, Marluxia clapped his hands together and muttered, "Rose Fury". This was a new technique that he had been working on. Why not test it now. A flurry of rose petals surround every Heartless within sight. Even if they aren't in sight the attack was focused on Heartless energy.
The rose petals, in the blink of an eye, stabbed themselves into the Heartless. Killing each one. Sighing he said both Genesis and Samael, "It would be best to leave, they tend to come back in larger numbers and in larger sizes themselves."
