In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The Queen of Hearts puffed loudly as another exhale of boredom and irritation quivered the soldiers of spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs. They shivered as if it was winter for they knew that the anger of their queen is as dangerous as any blizzard. Her plump chin rested on her iron fist as her heart shaped staff stomped and jabbed the arm rest of her thrown. She was brooding in her castle in the grand hall instead of her majesty’s court. Fortunately the event wouldn’t be a trial if the welcomed guests knew what was best for them. Already in her mind, she imagined whacking them in the head with her staff.
“Where ARE THEY?” Her yell shook the ground causing her loyal cards to scurry in shear panic. They tripped over the long rose red rug and the arranged only to hurry fix it with shaking hands. The rug was patted straight again neatly towards the grand opening for the guests, while the chairs were placed in a perfect curve for a sitting of thirteen.
“M-m-mi’lady th-th-they are on their way.” The white rabbit scrambled to her feet stuttering like a babbling fool as he tried to pick the right words that would please his queen. “Uuuh uuh uuh right now your majesty”
“Right now you say,” she smiled at the answer she wanted to here. “Well then,” she patted her hair down smoothly and dusted the wrinkles out of her royal queen-ware, “GET THEM NOW FOR THEY WON’T BE LATE!!!” She yelled before settling down with a smile as satisfied to see the bunny rush to the entrance door.
“Now let’s see the chairs are in order as well as their little bags at each chair,” The Queen of Hearts applauded happily. Her entertainment for her Merry Unbirthday would soon arrive, and everything was just perfect. It better be!
What in the name of Sira is this place? Max thought to himself as he was led through hallways, strange hallways that were not built straight, had doors on the ceiling and floors and had pictures that sometimes moved, by one of the strangest things of all: living playing cards.
The thin "men" carried weapons designed to resemble the suit of card they were, such as a spear for spades, etc.
Max would have found the place rather interesting if it weren't for the fact that they had confiscated his sword and spear, something he hated having to be without.
"Where are we going again?" he asked them.
"Silence! You shall learn soon enough!" the cards said in unison.
Shaking his head and shrugging' Max just shut his mouth and followed them. Wasn't much else to do now, was there.

Edmund did not like this, had he even agreed to this? One second he was at his home in Radiant Garden and then the next... he was being shoved down a hole next to some brambles and wound up here. Somewhere along the way they searched for weapons and somewhere along the way they found his dagger, the one Delilah had given to him. They promised they'd give it back but he saw the way the card-like men looked at it. He left it with him and ran into the open hall with several cards after him.
Now he wasn't one for stealing, but it was a gift from Delilah and he wasn't about to lose it. He looked up at the queen as if to ask if he could keep it, it wouldn't be pulled against anyone, Edmund could never do that. He felt hands grab his wrists and one about to grab the dagger... please no. If this is what he was thrown into, he wanted out. Still Edmund struggled to keep the dagger from the cards' grasp.
Max was nearly knocked over by the cards and the younger guy who ran past, but managed to catch himself on the wall before hitting the ground.
"What's going on with-" He started to ask, but was interrupted by one of his playing card escorts.
"None of your business!" he said.
All right.....enough was enough. Max was getting tired of this crap. Time to break out of the little mold they were trying to push him into.
Grabbing all the water from a nearby bucket another card was using to mop the floors, Max knocked his escorts away and ran after the cards chasing the other guy there. It looked like he was protecting something.
He eventually caught up to them, and Max quickly formed the water he had gathered into a staff, compressing it so he could use it as a weapon. Then, he charged, knocking the closest of the cards away from him, and quickly following up with another swipe from the water-staff, smacking another card square in the face, knocking him flat(literally) on his back.
"Can you fight any?" Max asked the other guy, who looked a few years younger than him,"if not......stay back. I'll hold them off."

Daichi was led through the corridor by a bunch of card-like people, each one a various suit. There were more of these living playing cards than seemed necessary, but Daichi wasn't one to go easily. After a little ruff and tumble, he had his precious weapon taken, not something he was entirely proud of. When they were finished with constraining him, they had led him down a dark damp corridor.
Daichi had been enjoying himself before he'd magically appeared in Wonderland, and the sudden change of place had unnerved him. The place seemed quite amazing, but he hadn't had much time to admire the view. Of course his interest was peaked, but for now he'd play it cool, act like he didn't know what was going on.
"You better hope a breeze doesn't come through here, you might just be swept away." remarked Daichi. The only cards he'd seen like the ones he was walking with now, were the playing cards he used back on his home world, and those were smaller and didn't walk around. It was quite a weird feeling, being led by cards.
Daichi was pushed out into the open, finally being free from the dark, dingy and damp corridor. He was front of some sort of a queen, and she seemed to have complete control over the cards. There seemed to be quite the audience gathering, and for once in his life, Daichi stayed quiet.

Roze had been enjoying a cup of herbal tea and some shrimp in Twilight Town. Normal day everything was peaceful. Unfortunately that peace was disrupted by several card soilders saying something along the lines of queen, late, unbirthday or some other thing like that. He'd normally protest but he didn't care much. Along the way they did a weapons check and he just showed them his violin Memory.
"Try and take this from me and I will slice each of you to ribbons" Roze said, since technically there was no blade it wouldn't be considered a weapon and he placed it back in his jacket. They passed through a portal before appearing in a rather odd area. As he saw the water form a man's image arose in his head and he hoped he wasn't right. He was, it was max, and he looked like he had already gotten into a fight.
"Max I suggest you calm down, there's no reason to fight right now, just be quiet and wait. " There was a bit of tension between the two but he could deal with that.

Surprisingly, Jason wasn't as confused when they started bringing him to the Castle. Jason was already in Wonderland, looking around, when the cards started to take him to the Queen of Hearts castle. Some of them tried to take his staff, which Jason let them take... for a second before causing it to reappear in his hand. "Keep trying if you want. But I'll just keep taking it back."[/color] He said as he was led to the rest of them
One of them seemed to be fighting back to which Jason shook his head. There wasn't much he could do as he willingly followed the group, curious as to what was in store for him and everyone else.
(SOOO sorry for the delay. I <3 you?) (And I'm going to put Seed and Marluxia in one post. Like a boss)
"Invited!? I should be the damn entertainment. Not some side performer" Seed yelled as he got up from the ground after being shoved down a rabbit hole.
"Will you shut it. It's bad enough I have to deal with you here. Much less the others" Marluxia said as he walked out of a portal. He knew every corner of this place, no need for some direction.
"Well you know what pinky? Go suck an egg!" Seed mocked as he walked past the card soldiers. The cards didn't want to mess with EITHER of the two new people that came down here. Not in the slightest.
Marluxia and Seed didn't talk to each other as they entered the Castle and waited for that bimbo....That Queen of Hearts to appear.

"This is ridiculous. I ask to make sure they get here, and I get this mess. ALRIGHT LET THEM KEEP THEIR LITTLE TRINKETS!" She shouted for the ruckus to stop as she stood on her thrown. Her face wrinkled not liking that she had to raise her voice for them to shut it. Her plumps arms folded over her bossoms before she plopped back on her seat as her dress gave her plenty of cushion.
"Now let's see," she hummed to herself as a finger started to do a head count. "I shouldn't have to do this. GAURDS!" They all scurried in fear at her tonality. "How many of our guests are among us right now."
They ran sloppily hopping side to side with their little feet before stopping at every individual. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Seven your majesty." They stood straight and erect giving her the final number not thing at how unhappy she maybe for their answers.
"SEVEN!" She yelled. "Are you telling me only seven out of twelve of our guests are here AT THIS MOMEEEEEENT!" Her voice escalated, and her head redened. This was not how a queenly merry unbirthday should result to: lack of organization and other's lack of scheduling their time. She was becoming irate.
"Y-y-y-your m-m-majesty, you shouldn't be under too much stress my dear." Her shrimp of a husband stuttered next to her on his smaller throne.
With a heavy snort, she brushed her hair back again and readjusted her crown. "Cards look for the other five. The rest of you escort our guests to their seats."
Seating were already arranged for twelve with bags sitting on the right of each chair, one per person of-course.

Finally the cards left him alone and he rubbed his wrists gently. A guy came up to him and asked him about fighting them off, "Why would I want to harm someone? After all, they were just doing their job..." Edmund wasn't the type to hold a grudge against anybody, couldn't the kid tell? The queen, a person covered in red and black, seemed to throw a temper-tantrum shortly after that. So 12 of them were supposed to be here? That was a lot.
A card soldier came up to him and tapped him on the shoulder with his clover-shaped staff and pointed to a seat on the right. Edmund nodded and thanked the card before taking a seat in the chair positioned second to the front. That meant there were four chairs to the left of him and one to the right, not to mention the queen as well. He sighed and looked around to see where others would sit.
Shuddering slightly Edmund wondered what it was. The air was slightly cool, but not cold enough to make him shiver and he wasn't scared. He turned his head to look at all the people here wondering just what caused it. His eyes stopped on a pink-haired woman... wait, make that a man. Someone about him was giving off some weird vibe, the sort of vibe that made you want to crawl under something to hide from him. He turned away hoping the man didn't notice Edmund staring at him and felt it would be safer just to stare respectfully at the queen.
Doogie had just been walking around, when all of a sudden, he was approached by some...cards? These cards weren't like he was used to. He was used to something like a card that is small enough to be held in your hand, but these cards were life-size, and they wielded weapons. Of course, it seemed like Doogie's sword would be able to easily defeat one of these cards, but since they hadn't yet attacked, Doogie didn't harm them.
They led him down a hole, and through some hallways, and rooms. The hallways and rooms were all very wierd. Finally, he was led into a room that was the grand hall of a large castle. He then saw that there were seven other people, and saw that there were twelve chairs. So far, only one person, other than the queen, and some skinny guy beside her, was seated. There was one empty seat to his right, and four to his left. Then, Doogie recieved a slight push to sit down on the opposite side of this young man. Of course, he would sit, when told to by the queen, but for now, he was going to walk over to the person sitting down, and try and make a friend. As he approached this young man, he said,
"Hi there, my name is Doogie. What's yours? And you look like you might know what's going on, so may I ask if you know what we are all doing here?"
Max have the younger guy a weird look as the cards left them alone and he mentioned that the cards were doing their job and nothing more. He just sighed and and looked on as a card pointed him toward a seat.
"yeah yeah," he said, waving the card off,"I'm going. Don't rush me."
He turned and took his seat, looking down at the bag.it didn't look very full....
Gus curiosity getting the better of him, Max reached down and picked up he bag, starting to open it........

"Hi there, my name is Doogie. What's yours? And you look like you might know what's going on, so may I ask if you know what we are all doing here?"
Finally someone who saw Edmund for who he really was, just a gentle person. He turned and smiled politely at the newcomer. "Hello there, my name is Edmund. Actually, I'm just following orders given by the Queen of... Cards here." No other orders had been given yet, he supposed the queen would wait until everyone took their seat which could take a while.
He looked to the kid that told him to attack the cards earlier. Edmund noticed him opening a bag that was present at every chair. Wait, there were supposed to open them? The Queen of Cards never said anything like that. He looked at his own bag and wondered if he should open it or not. Maybe they were supposed to open it, but maybe waiting would be the best thing. If they weren't, Edmund didn't want to get yelled at by the queen. A card began to head toward Doogie and him now and he figured that it was coming to remind the boy to take his seat. The Nobody lifted his hand off the arm rest and waved goodbye.

The cards had ran off to aid the Queen, and Daichi was finally left alone. Well, he couldn't really call being with seven other people, being alone. He looked around, the Queen seemed to be getting quite mad, it sounded like not everyone who was suppose to be here was here. Daichi looked around at the other people who had arrived, wondering if he had seen any of them before. Not one of them did he know, and to Daichi's annoyance everyone here was a guy, then again if there was a girl here it wouldn't be the best time to chat them up.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw a man with pink hair, a man WITH PINK HAIR. It was quite hilarious, Daichi had never seen anything like it in his life. Wondering what they were all here for he gazed at the seats, it seemed people were already sitting down. Noticing the bags next to the chairs, he began to wonder what was inside.
A few moments later Daichi was approached form behind, it seemed that the cards had decided it was time to sit down. With a less than gentle push, Daich began to approach the seats. The seat which seemed the most appealing was the chair at the end, unfortunately for him Daichi was not led there, but was positioned in a chair almost directly in the middle. Sitting down, he began to wait, hopefully no one would have the nerve to talk to him. The day he was having had been a pretty bad one up until now.
(OOC: Typical of my character, thinking only of himself and women.. tch tch tch.)

Jason shook his head at the happenings that were going on as he went to his seat. He wasn't exactly PLEASED to see Seed there again as he was sure Seed wanted to go rip his head off, but there was little he could do. His chair was on the end as he sat down, curious to know what would be in store for him now. What had his crystal ball led him to now? It was surely a strange thing, but at least things would be a little bit more exciting then usual. His seat was taken as he waited for whatever this was to start.
