In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

A jerk. A jerk was all it took for the weapon to fall from his hands. ranted, the jerk wasn't as subtle as one could have been, more of a yank, but it was enough. There was something about these fights and people wanting to take his weapons from him... he could feel it.
He gave a growl as the handle left his hand, losing the feel of what was once there. Fine, she wanted to play that way, she'd get it.
Shifting his foot on the ground towards her, he kicked at the air. Following his leg were several ice shards (though terribly small, collected in large numbers, they were like several small darts), they rode the wind in her direction, Kian knowing full well that that was a target.
Perhaps it was hard to view a friend as a target for some, but for him it was an instinct that had burrowed its way deep into his mind since six or seven years ago... he liked fighting, which is why he taught himself not to. A lie? He didn't know... lying usually hurt people in some way, this was just fibbing to delude others away from the truth.
(I kinda feel bad about this...but since you've said you need time I granted it. But you seem to have time to look over profiles closely and give advice on how to make them better, but it seems you've forgotten about this. So I'm sad to say but I must disqualify Ikari.) (PM me if you see this as unfair.)
Um... excuse me? I was waiting for you to okay his move. You as a judge even has it in the first post, and it's not my fault that you mucked up the judging posts several times in a row for one to be getting confused.

((I also see this as unfair. While she was busy doing other things I asked her to correct a profile for me as I was having troubles correcting it myself. I'm sure she simply wouldn't forget about such a fight.))
Hah! She had it... she had it! Now that she was in possession of his weapon, Ikari pushed herself back and performed a backhand spring to give herself distance from the ice user. As she did, she had taken to unwrapping the chained sickles from her calf and holding them, swinging one in a circle by the chain with a rather smug look on her face. The fire-user had the ice-user out his weapons -- that mean that he was going to have to rely on melee based attacks or magic. Either way, she'd be able to outmaneuver him.
Running away was never her forte... never had been. However... speed had definitely proven itself to being one of Ikari's advantages she had over just about anyone and everyone. This is why she never took the time to be learning Haste spells when she was asked to be doing so. It was all those times that she had merely laughed at the prospect and replied with, 'I'm fast enough! I don't need those damned spells!'
Looking to Kian, Ikari continued to swing the sickle in her hand, waiting for him to be making the next move.
