In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

((The plot thickens. Where is Ciraph? Where would Nokosu be taken? All of these questions will probably be answered in the following turns! Stay tuned as we cut to commercial break.))
The blades met; fire against ice. There was a loud hissing noise as the blizzaga magic and novusilex metal collided, and steam began to fill in the air. Nokosu had no intent on losing this deadlock; it was the one chance he had to get a hit in on Kuja! The steam clouded his view, and he was swept off his legs by the heartless' kick. Nokosu lost his footing, and fell on his right arm.
The villain had tripped him, and taking no pause, Kuja stepped back and fired a number of yellow needles at the krezzican through the dissipating fog of steam. Nokosu couldn't make out what they were, but he instinctively threw his sword up to protect himself. Most of the needles were either repelled by the sword or bounced off his skin (painfully), but a few had dug themselves into his side and legs. The needles shattered upon impact, and left a lingering tingling sensation throughout Nokosu's body. He hastily rose to his feet, and stared Kuja down. The heartless' eyes looked past Nokosu, where Ciraph would have been.
"Now child, prepare to... NO! Ciraph! Ultima will destroy you!"[/i]
He shouted with a panicked cry. "Like I'm going to believe a heartless." Kuja expected the young man's attention to drift, but instead Nokosu rushed Kuja. There was a short gap, so Nokosu hoped he would catch Kuja off guard. Mid-charge, he felt a powerful force flow past him, shattering all the windows in the area. Was Kuja telling the truth? Nokosu wanted dearly to turn around and see the fate of his comrade, but that would leave him open to a point-blank attack. Instead, the krezzican followed through. The tip of his blade struck against the ground, and rose upward; aiming to strike under Kuja's arm and hit him in the rib.
However, as the sword was about to make contact, the heartless vanished. Dumbfounded, Nokosu had failed to notice the doorway to darkness that Kuja had opened.

As Nokosu and Kuja continued fighting, Ciraph was in the bright limbo space ha passed through when he created his portals. He had done the instant portal truck again as Ultima had exploded, so he could get out of Kuja's side undetected.
Now, he needed to go back, and catch Kuja off guard.
Ciraph took in a deep breath, his sides expanding with the air in his lungs, and then he did it again, opening a portal right on top of himself, coming back nearly right on top of Kuja.
Thinking in a split second, Ciraph reached down with his jaws as quick as a snake strike and moved to bite Kuja's head from his body.
Kuja smirked at the sight of Nokosu trying yet again to attack. Such simple creatures humans are when their lives depend on it. Thus, Kuja, making a sword from a Blizzaga spell, met the boy in a sword deadlock. The ice and fire meeting with a force that would normally go against the Genomes favor. But he had no intention to stay in this dead lock forever, as soon as the ice had connected with the fire blade, Kuja gave a sweep kick to the legs of Nokosu. Once the legs made contact, Kuja would bounce back a little and fire off a barrage of thunder needles.
"Now child, prepare to....NO! Ciraph! Ultima will destroy you!" A fake plea from the Genome would make Nokosu look back and try and save the dragon. With a smirk and an urge to laugh insanely, Kuja opened a dark portal around himself and Nokosu. The portal that surrounded Nokosu would drag him off to wherever the darkness wished.
(Kuja indeed did, but around himself too. I made the line I wrote bold.)
(shotgun, both Nokosu and Kuja are gone. He opened the portal around Nokosu and Kuja, which would have taken them both. XD lol. it was clear the portal would have taken Nokosu. he just wanted to make sure we knew it took Kuja with it too.)
