In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Hades held up his finger to speak when all of a sudden he was splashed by the water in the River Styx. The water slowly dripped off of his face and his finger was bent down and an annoyed look on his face was clearly there. Not the best idea to splash anyone who is a god with water, especially from their own river. He cranked up the heat of his flame body and the water evaporated off of him and he shot a look at Max and a soul slowly moved over to him and latched on to drain his life force.
”Well, look at the lively bunch of mortals we have here. And to think I was not well liked. Who knew? Now lets see here….” Hades pulled out a clipboard filled with hundreds of papers and scribbles that only he could read and he read through his “schedule”,
”Lets see….dinner with myself. I can’t cancel that again. Feed Cerberus….later,” Hades kept flipping through the pages as the trio…well now out of control people here argued, ”Make Demyx clean to Underdrome, have Zedd be absorbed by Demyx. Oh wait….that already happened.” Hades made a pin appear and he crossed that little line out.
His ears did perk up when another person asked if their loved one was here. He sighed and rolled his eyes and went back to the clipboard. If that guy wanted someone back he had to make a deal, rules of the Underworld. He finally got to the names of dead people. A twisted look of confusion swept across his face. One line read Billy Mays and Michael Jackson….He shot a glance at where a camera would be if this was a movie and a snazzy little tune of irony played in the background. He shook his head and went back to the list and saw that the name that the guy said was in fact NOT on here. Well he didn’t have to know that now did he?
”Hehehe, you got quite the little spirit girly. I like that, but go ahead and shoot him. All the more souls for me. Just wait until Cerberus gets here, he likes to play with his food before he eats it. Hehehe…” Hades told Erika as he gave an ominous laugh as the ground shook slightly as the three-headed beast slowly made its way to its master. The God of Death barely even realized the new girl that was here. But he DID, however, hear that this…..Mikael guy from the Hades Cup, would give his soul in exchange for Rubixs’. How interesting.
Hades materialized behind Mikael and shoved a clipboard with a contract in his hands and pointed to various spots to sign and spoke really fast about the details, ”Alrighty then, Mr.Hero, Mr.Save the day, sign here, here, here, NOT here, dot this, cross this. And if you hurry all theses wondrous jobs could be yours!!!” He made several posters appear in front of Mikael as he explained each one, ”Clean the Underdrome, it gets pretty rank after awhile. Feed Cerberus, results may vary. Collect souls, we have a bit of a bet on who can get the most, my moneys on Rubix over there. And finally you can be my eternal slave and help me get Sor……someone who shall not be named right now. So…wadda ya say?”
He shot a deathly glare at Erika and Max as they spoke out against their friend signing away his soul in exchange for Rubix. It was his choice right, what gave them the right to say no to it? The ground shook even more as Cerberus could be seen in plain sight slowly walking to the gathering of people. A twisted smile grew on Hades face, ”Tick-tock tick-tock. Times running out little ones…”

After Hades 'cooled' down a bit, he handled the situation of everyone telling him what to do very well. That was they way he dealt with most things, Rubix observed after being in the Underworld for sometime, more of a calm, cool, and swift way. At time Rubix even chuckled at the little antics Hades was doing, even though he was the God of Death, Rubix didn't think he was half bad. All he was doing was running a business...a business of death.
However, the minute Hades gave Mikael the clip board there was a flashback to when Rubix signed his 'death' away to Hades. All Rubix could see was the ink hitting the board and right then and there Rubix was forever a slave of Hades. The only reason why Rubix was at least okay was because he had gotten used to his jobs for Hades. But still the pain of being dead remains, but at the same time he can barely feel anything at all. Rubix's state was nothing that he would wish upon anybody, especially Mikael, the first person who reached his hand out to Rubix's and said "Come on."
Although the pain was still there, there was power behind it all. Rubix has learned to heightened his abilities, also with the help of Hades. When he was alive he was afraid, but now that he is dead, there is no fear. Rubix felt like there was no one in all the worlds that could stop him from doing what he wanted to do. He was free and he wanted to take advantage of this feeling.
"Mikael," Rubix said weakly, "No..." he said a little louder, "No no no no, it's fine. Leave right now," Rubix's eyes kept wandering, not being to look at anybody while he was trying to talk to them. Never in his life did he ever wanted to say something so badly. If only he could say how Hades is just trying to con them all and how none of the deal is fair, but he knew that there would be serious consequences for those actions.
"This is my job, Mikael," he looked up only at Mikael, looking into his eyes. Rubix's eyes turned a shade of light grey before he said, "And I like it."

Sage's eyebrow twitched with annoyance as Hades answered everyone's question except hers. "Hades, I think you're missing someone here, like, I don't know... ME?!" She glared up at him and removed her sword from the ground. No more offerings to this guy, he was going to have the turn the tables and beg to her for something she could trade with him to get her life back. Impatiently she tapped her sword on the ground, making an annoying noise on the floor. Hades seemed impatient and quick to yell, so maybe a little repetitive noise would catch his attention.
She waiting for his eyes to meet hers, for him to see just how ready she was at this point to do anything to get her life back. "I don't really think it's polite of you to be ignoring someone who has so much to offer..." she began to say but instead of finishing her sentence she just deepened her glare up to Hades. Surely this man knew just how dangerous it was to provoke the dead. They were already dead and had nothing to lose, so obviously you couldn't tell this that you were going to kill them if they didn't shut up. The Lord of the Dead should also know that when people like Sage came up to you and asked for their life back you should give it back, or else you were going to be in for a surprise. Sage would do whatever it took to get her life back.
"Really? Oh, let's think again, shall we? While you know none of my abilities concerning water, I know that you're a big mouth gunslinger." Victoria told the woman, overconfidence and mockery being easily sensed in her words. Making a slight gesture toward Max, she continued with her comeback. "And yes, I am aware that your boyfriend can also control it, but he obviously doesn't know as many tricks as I do."
And there she went again. The bounty hunter's ego was probably bigger than the Underworld in that moment; she was strong, yes, but there were a couple of people that she obviously shouldn't mess with. "Now," she told Hades, raising her voice a bit. "Just tell me if he's alive or not. You should probably have some kind of list or something; check it. The name is Man Honkey... no wait, Hank Monkey... no! Mark Henry!." Yeah, that was one of the girl's defects. She forgot names easily, especially the ones belonging to her bounties. Ignoring what the other people were doing, Victoria looked at the god, obviously waiting for an answer.
Mikael simply smirked as he heard the boy's try at a comeback. Please, he would have to try harder to even make him doubt a bit in his words. "Try to follow your own advice before giving it away freely, ok? Thanks." With that out of the way, he glanced at the god once more, only to be interrupted by Erika. "Please Erika, you are a bit less that two years older than me, not much difference if you ask me. Besides, I'm free to do what I want with my soul, its mine." He obviously didn't want either of them to go away. It was better that way, he going was the right solution.
Suddenly, a clip board appeared in his hands a moment before Hades himself appeared beside him and started to point at the many things he had to sign. He obviously didn't care about any of the jobs he was going to do; he only wanted to make sure that the god was keeping his promise and freeing Rubix. "Whoa whoa, calm down Hades. Tell me where does it say that you are freeing Rubix." That was the price for his soul. No Rubix, no Mikael.
However, Rubix then started to try to talk him out of it. The fire user's blue eyes met the boy's as he started to say that he actually liked being Hades's pet boy. To Mikael, that was just plain bullshit. "Stop it, Rubix. We both know that you don't enjoy this at all. Well, this will be your lucky day, I'm signing this fucking contract and nothing will stop me. Nothing." His voice was determined, his eyes were serious. He was doing it. However, destiny didn't think the same...
Suddenly, the man felt a considerable pain in his head. He waited a few moments for it to disappear, but it was increasing instead. "Argh! My head..." Closing his eyes, Mikael attempted to locate the source of the pain. "It's her darkness." Jadis's darkness was doing that. But why? Wasn't it supposed to be something helpful? "ARGH!" Letting go the contract, he held his head in pain, which was multiplying rapidly. The man couldn't take it anymore... and he fell. His vision became more and more blurry until he couldn't see anything at all. However, that was not the end of it....
---
Max just stared at Erika blankly as she called offering her life "improvising". "There are always other ways, let us all act like civilized people and bargain something... except souls. For example, we could-" Then he felt that chilly feeling. Looking at Hades, the man realized that the god was sending... something toward him. "N-no, get away. Get away from my thoughts!" He told the spirit as it approached him. He felt it... he felt that feeling of being drained...
However, he was soon distracted by Mikael, who was about to sign the contract. "I said that no one was offering their soul." He loudly said as he walked toward the teenager, intending to get the contract and rip it in two. However, the fire user suddenly started to shout and hold his head in pain. Intending to help his friend, Max started to run toward the boy, catching him as he fell. "Mikael, Mikael!"

Lyon chuckled at the end of Erika's little rant. "Surely you've seen me fighting. A simple shadow step then breaking into a circular sprint around you until you had to recharge or reload would leave you open. And who says I'll let him out, as I remember you're the one who once caused it, the other time was because I was drained. As for a sip as you call it, is strong enough to end your life. Pride goeth before our fall, I suppose that statement shall ring true for one such as yourself, to judge a hearts strength simply by personality, you obviously don't understand my resolve and will, the two things the heart are primarily made up of, or as it should be truly called, the soul. Oh, and call my brother my pet once more and you'll be dead before ya hit the ground, kay?" He had answered every statement and smiled his usual smile at the end.
He was sure to recieve a threat or two, but what should he care. Humans would always be the sinful creatures they were and would pretend to care for another. He ignored Mikaels statement about following his own advice, he wasn't a hypocrite, he hadn't underestimate him at all. He was a fire user making him potentially dangerous but not something to worry about too much lest he have to fight him. Seeing that the god had said nothing of him but had obviously looked through a list of some sort he had figured that he was not on the list and would leave him alone until the others had departed. He supposed Rubix could be included though.
He ignored the dead soul and saw Max start to freak out over a spirit start to touch him and drain his life. He sighed and might regret what he was about to do. He quickly pulled his book of demon purging and exorcisms. He didn't need a spirit of the dead around, too creepy to deal with and no fun in messing with them. Opening up to a certain page he ran his finger down and looked at the words before speaking. Phasmatis of mortuus quod unholy, reverto ex unde vos venit quod vomica nos haud magis!* Lyon recited it once his voice raised. He had recited it correctly and the spirit would depart.
(*Spirit of the dead and unholy, return from whence you came and plague us no more!*)

(A book of exorcisms and demon purgings is something he picked up from Disney Castle. if you want me to edit it I will. I'll be leaving that stuff out from then on until my next character edit.)

(alright thanks. also I will have to soon. When he kills Naoya there's going to be a personality, history, weapons, and power change, possibly appearance as well. either way it's Ellie's turn)
