In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

"Where am I?" Nokosu stood up, his body felt heavier than it should have (A result of his previous fight). The entire area around him was nothing but utter darkness. No light entered this place, yet he could still see his hands, feet, and the rest of his body. "This doesn't make sense, if no light enters this place, then I shouldn't be able to see-" His mouth froze, refusing to utter another syllable. The realization of where he was hit him like a car slamming into a brick wall.
"This couldn't be the Realm of Darkness." The krezzican knew exactly that where he stood was that realm. He had read about this place in a few books, and even heard stories about it, but this was his very first actual encounter with pure darkness. Nokosu fell through a portal made by a heartless, which would probably take him wherever the darkness desired. His winding up there would probably be the most common thing to occur. The question now was how would he get out?
"Will I be stuck here forever? Nonsense. I refuse to let that happen." Nokosu stood still, pondering long and hard about a possible way to leave this place of evil, but came up with nothing. He couldn't open portals, couldn't control darkness, and didn't have any magical items or power over the light.
Unbeknown to him, small amounts of darkness had already tainted his guilty heart.

Marluxia, fresh from his abandonment of Organization XIII, was scanning the Realm of Darkness for any possible place to hid Rook and him. He peered through several open seams and was disappointed by the fact that everyplace was somewhere he would be most likely to be found.
"Tch, if Zexion were not such such a hound finding a spot would be easy. If only I co---What? Could that be?" XI was a little astonished to see another person roaming the Realm of Darkness at the exact time he was...wait. There could only be on explanation, Zexion must be using his tricks to lure Marluxia in.
Dissipating in a flash of rose petals, Marluxia reappeared beside Nokosu and held Graceful Dahlia at his throat and asked sternly, "Are with someone by the name of Zexion or Organization XIII?"
Nokosu was carefully examining his damages from the previous fight. His clothes looked as if they had been thrown in a fire. The sleeves and bottom of the shirt were singed, with patches of exposed burned flesh on his back. His right pant leg was burned half-way up his shin, while his left pant-leg was only seared slightly. His legs and left-most portion of his torso had several puncture wounds from the thundaga needles that were shot at him, but the tingling feeling had subsided.
"Where is my sword?" He looked over to his right, to see his beloved weapon lying on the ground, several paces away from him. As he motioned toward it, several rose petals flew into his face by a sudden gust of wind… wind? "What?" Before he could make any second movement, there was a blade to his neck with a man standing next to him. Taking a second look at the sword he held, Nokosu could see that it was actually a scythe. Along with the dark robe, this man could easily play the role of the grim reaper.
"Are with someone by the name of Zexion or Organization XIII?" Zexion? Who was Zexion? The only thing Nokosu recognized in that sentence was Organization XIII, and all he knew was that they were a group of nobodies. By the sound of it, this Zexion had something to do with the Organization, but that didn’t change the fact that there was a sharp weapon being held inches from his throat. The wise thing to do in this current situation would be to answer calmly and truthfully, as he did not want to lose his head.
"I know of no Zexion, and know very little about Organization XIII. I fell through a portal during a fight with a strong heartless and winded up here."Holding his breath, he waited for a reply.

What? How could a normal person be here in the Realm of Darkness and not be instantly tainted? Unless this was all a part of Zexions trick! Shoving the man several feet, over by the sword laying on the ground no less, Marluxia did a quick scan of the area and then adverted his attention back to the man.
"You say you know of no Zexion and little about the XIII, but yet here you are still a normal person in the Realm of Darkness. Why? There could only be one reason, either you're lying about it Zexion or you're actually a very special human who knows not of his power. Regardless, a battle with most likely sort things out now wont it?" Marluxia twirled his scythe between his fingers and held it behind his back with the blade upright. He was going to be "kind" enough to allow the man to have the first attack. The style would hint at this man being Zexion or not.
((Erm, about the Darkness, we must remember that DiZ was trapped for a very long time in the corridors, and he was never tainted. Sorry to interrupt, I was just interested in the conversation.))

(erm, DiZ was trapped in the realm of nothingness...not darkness, which means...it doesn't relate to this. << juuust wanted to clarify that...*Elaeus mcpoof*)
((Well, I asked the instructors about this, after talking with people about it in the c-box. I could give my characters dark powers, as long as they weren't drastic. I couldn't think of any way of going about this other than having the darkness taint his heart...

His entire body was launched toward his weapon. Combat Readiness activating, he scooped up the blade by the handle, rolled over his left shoulder, then stood up, sword ready. His body ached, and would react slower than it should; all thanks to that magic-spewing poet. He put more focus into calming as he stared his new opponent in the face. Why was he being thrown into these fights all of a sudden?
"You say you know of no Zexion and little about the XIII, but yet here you are still a normal person in the Realm of Darkness. Why? Regardless, a battle with most likely sort things out now wont it?"[/i] A very special human? Nokosu's face remained without expression. He wasn't human.
"I am a krezzican. The last of my kind." Nokosu failed to point out how even though he is a krezzican, there were a lot of humans in his ancestry. Perhaps there was something special about him? Having the power to remove his burden of sin? Nokosu's lips shaped themselves into a smile.
During the brief intermission, the krezzican had restored a small amount of mana. Nokosu bounded toward Marluxia, and waved his blade; a large flame exploded forth, ready to consume Marluxia. The young man had stepped within range of the nobody’s scythe, but he assumed the fire would temporarily keep him from attacking.
Fire? That was a sure conformation that this...krezzican was not Zexion. First; Marluxia could feel the heat of the flame, if this was Zexion the heat would be absent and second; the boys stance and style were very sloppy. Zexion couldn't act this good to save his life.
"You are indeed not Zexion, your style and attack pattern is too obvious for my former ally to act out. But I do wonder how your fighting style will change the longer you stay here." Marluxia pondered as an oversized sunflower petal shot out of his sleeve and enveloped the fire and carried it off elsewhere and another grew and shoved itself into the krezzican in an effort to make him falter.
Marluxia did a quick step backwards and unleashed a flurry of rose petals on the child. If darkness had gotten into his heart, it should take over his instincts for a short while. But Marluxia would not leave his combo at that, taking Graceful Dahlia into both hands, the Assassin fired off a shockwave of black and pink energy at Nokosu.
"You are indeed not Zexion, your style and attack pattern is too obvious for my former ally to act out. But I do wonder how your fighting style will change the longer you stay here."[/i] How would his fighting style change by being in this Realm? Perhaps...
He stepped back at the sight of the flower. It easily consumed Nokosu's fire, and within a second! "So this guy is a scythe-wielder who can control flowers?” Other than that sunflower, the Shotgun Flare technique should be enough to burn the rest of his plants. Nokosu just has to wait to use it a second time.
A second sunflower sprouted right before Nokosu, and tried to knock him off his feet. Quickly reacting, he dodged around the sunflower, and severed it from its stem. Along with the Shotgun Flare, Nokosu's perpetually-heated sword will be a huge help. A sudden gust carried a multitude of rose petals toward Nokosu. He raised his sword over face, and the rose petals that came into contact with it sizzled to crisps; the rest of his body was slightly buffeted.
Now for the last attack from Marluxia's combo. The nobody fired off a wave of energy that traveled along the ground. Using more mana, Nokosu amplified his leg strength and bounded high over the shockwave. "What do I do now? I am unable to use my only ranged attack, and I am sure charging in from the front to enter close-quarter combat wouldn’t be wise ." The only idea Nokosu had was to get behind Marluxia and attack from there. With his legs still strengthened by the mana charge, he ran at Marluxia. As he was approaching the nobody's scythe range, Nokosu jumped and cleared Marluxia’s head. Now behind, the krezzican turned around, gripped his sword with two hands and swung it in a diagonal fashion, starting from the left-upper back and ending at the right-lower back.
Marluxia let out a disgruntled scoff as he dissipated in a flurry of rose petals as the blade of the krezzican came within a quarter inch of his body. The flowers from his petal-port began to swirl around Nokosu trying to slice open his skin. The Assassin appeared several feet behind Nokosu ans said with much annoyance.
"You fight with much ignorance, you take my abilities for granted and do not care to think what my counter attack could have been. You need training young one. If you are to survive in this darkness."
XI flung Graceful Dahlia at the krezzican, the blade of the scythe filling the air with the air passing over it. Marluxia activated his Nobody Seal ability as the scythe was flying towards the boy, his body, as fast as jet, passed over Nokosu's ears and whispered a curse/blessing. In a flash the Nobody symbol flashed over the torso of the boy and the number 39 flickered above his head.

Another surprise, Marluxia's body melted into razor-sharp rose petals. The petals inflicted numerous cuts on Nokosu, but not even the deepest wound inflicted so much as drew blood. If anything, the attack just made his clothing more ragged. Again, Nokosu was happy to be a krezzican.
"You fight with much ignorance, you take my abilities for granted and do not care to think what my counter attack could have been. You need training young one. If you are to survive in this darkness."[/b] That last bit was anything but true. Nokosu was trained to be a skilled soldier in his tribe's fighting force! However, it has been five years since he had any instruction or used his tactician skills at all. "Damn, I probably lost my edge long ago."
Nokosu knew how to swing a sword around, but it amazed him at how much he had forgotten from not practicing regularly. His thoughts were interrupted by an oncoming scythe. It flew at him in a circular motion, much like a deadly Frisbee ready to behead all who came in contact with it. As he was preparing to deflect it, he heard a whisper. Nokosu couldn't make out the words, but immediately he felt as if his life was on some sort of counter. The krezzican casted Altered Reflera, and the whirling scythe bounced off and clattered on the dark floor, then lie motionless. Nokosu whirled around and slashed at the darkness behind him, not hesitating to hit whatever had made the whisper.
This was very unlike him. Nokosu was beginning to grow paranoid. "Why am I feeling so on edge?!" His negative emotions began to grow. The traces of darkness that had taken root in his heart began to affect his emotions.
Marluxia was already gone by the time Nokosu had swung his sword at him. He was already in the air, retrieving his formidable scythe. XI landed gracefully in a spot unseen to Nokosu, for the boy was not trained in using Darkness and could probably only see within a certain distance. He would be perfect for an apprentice.
"Do you fear darkness?" Marluxia asked as a stream of rose petals shot down above Nokosu. "Do you fear that dark abyss?" another stream shot out this time in front of him. Marluxia needed the boy to let go of all emotions and rely on his own power. This would be a perfect test.
"You say you were taken here by a strong Heartless. What is his name? Why did he fight you?" Marluxia put away his scythe and began to walk closer to Nokosu. If the krezzican even as so much raised his sword another barrage of rose petals would befall him.
