In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Syn felt his breathing grow more difficult as the wind was thrown into a fury, the sand around him making it difficult to maneuver. This Heartless was too powerful...
"Seriously, you're so stubborn that you don't realize that you contradict yourself on so many levels. It's depressing."
"You don't even know depression!" The anger coursed through his veins as his whip flew out from the sand snake, straight towards Elaeus. But the whip stopped as Syn realized what was wrong. He was only using anger. He needed something more powerful.
Keisha.
He felt the ground quake as he set his feet down, and moved past the sadness of her murder. He tried to remember the hope and love she had brought him. How he had admired her... Don't worry about Keyon. She may not have loved him, but she cared for him like a mother, or an older sister. She was still alive in his Heart.
He looked to Elaeus with a hateful glare and sighed. "I need to bring somebody back from the dead." The Heartless couldn't do that. The Heartless was worthless... And that was the only way Syn would join them. He wouldn't give in to his Heartless, no. But if they could bring her back, he would join them, no problem. "If I can get her back, you will get your Synthesizer..."
He looked to the ground. "But I'm changing my name. If I accept the Darkness, I will be known as Sin. Synthest is the name the Moogles gave me. I can't soil that name. One day, I will regain my Light. Then I can take back my rightful name."
He glared at the Heartless again as the Earth shook around them. The snake revealed his luminescent glare. "Can you do it?"

You don't even know depression
The Heartless snorted, "Don't compare me to emotionaless nobodies."
His nose twitched as his arms folded across his chest. A brow arched; he was making a bargain, a request. Elaeus hummed lowly. "Anything can happen when you have connections, and I can easily be one."
"That request is far from difficult." Waving his hand, he opened a dark portal. "Let's go enough time has been wasted."
The Heartless. He was going to be a Heartless? It made him shudder. He had best prepare for the worst...
And indeed he did as the sandsnake died away. He took a deep breath and walked towards the icy Darkness that he knew too well. He felt his body fall into shadows as he disappeared, just like all the other times. The Darkness carried him to a new world and he let his mind sleep, attempting to get rid of the thoughts of his future.
Things would not be well. Sin traveled with fear with the unnamed Heartless, awaiting his twisted destiny. It seemed like Ocean was right after all... He couldn't run from the disease. He wondered if he would become blind as well.
