In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It had been a week since the incident involving Kousei. And the nobody was wondering why most of the people he used to see around here, just disappear. Reiho, Mikael, Antique, jadis. Everyone of them seemed to be missing.
Caxnon wasn't planning on standing around either, he decided to see If he could find at least one of them.
The nobody started walking through the second district hoping to find some clues there.
'' This would have been easier with Reiho around...'' he said to himself.
Since the incident with Kousei the obnoxious thief, Reiho felt strange, she felt ... not Reiho-like. Strange voices telling her to do bad things, doubts about if what happened that day really happened or were an illusion, her mind, soul and heart were a complete mess.
Luckily, the meeting the next day with Kiryu and with Lakuri the following day did wonders for her weakened emotional and mental health and now she felt again at peace with herself. In total it took her three to muster the courage to face her previous acquaintances again.
"Helping Kiryu to adapt to Traverse Town made me feel useful again"
The detective was daydreaming a bit as she walked through the streets of the second district. Her mind was by now almost healed, the insanity inducing voices stopped thanks to the help of the calm and comforting disembodied voice from the room with many door. No matter what kind of darkness inhabited Reiho's heart, that young and innocent disembodied voice was her light amidst the darkness.
"Ow!"
Reiho bumped into the back of a blonde person.
"I'm sorry mister blonde man!" She bowed looking at the blonde man, still showing his back. Probably he was thoughtful too and hadn't realized he just got bumped into.
Dejá vu? Her life was a constant series of very familiar situations lately. Yesterday she bumped into Kiryu just like with this man, in the second district, in pretty much the same part of the district. Were they simple coincidences or it was fate? Somehow Reiho felt that blonde man was an important person and waited, still in bowing position, that the man turned his back and looked at her.
Caxnon didn't expect someone to bump into him. He stopped and turned around to address the person behind him, and then suddenly noticed that It was Reiho standing there still in her bowing position.
The nobody bent down so he wouldn't tower over the girl before he addressed her.
'' Reiho..Are you alright?'' Caxnon asked the girl
The detective stopped bowing and showed an expression of surprise in her face, not knowing what to say. She thought she was ready to talk again with Caxnon and the others, but the encounter was so fast, so immediate she had nothing prepared to say in this situation.
"Something wrong happened that day we met Kousei ... i don't even remember if you were there when that happened, but briefly i ... stopped being myself. Everything was confusing and i tried to kill Kousei, since then I've been trying to avoid you and the other people present that day"
She always suggested people to talk about their troubles with people they trusted, but if she didn't do the same with her problem she would be an hypocrite, so she shared with Caxnon what was going through her mind that fateful day.
'' Dealing with the problem alone..will only make it worse.'' Caxnon said.
He knew that this had something to do with the incident at the third district, but the problem was he didn't know exactly what Reiho experiences when she faints. It 's possible that the heartless have added strong dark energy to Reiho's heart, which would explain her fainting.
'' It's fine, and there's no need to avoid us..were friends right? We help each other, now can you tell me exactly what you experienced when you fainted?'' Caxnon asked Reiho.
(Sorry if this intro seems uneeded, but it's just a way to get my characters' plot going)
A strange phenomenon began happening in Traverse town. One that was natural, but most unwelcomed by those who knew what it was. The souls of the dead, flying gray orbs of glowing swirls, were clumsily dancing over the roof of the Gizmo shop. All together, they looked like a giant orb of fog. Suddenly, pieces of the roof exploded, flinging out towards the center of the district. It was the afterlife's best employees, Pain and Panic. And these two were out on an important, self-assigned mission.
"Okay ... Where're we gonna find this giant heartless armor thing?" The chubbier one asked with impatience. "Oh I don't knooow! The last time we were here, that heartless simply came outta nowhere!". Both imps looked at the swirls of the undead that had accopanied them. "Wherever it is, maybe we'll have luck finding it with these souls." "Ya think Hades'll care?" "Naaaah. He's got plenty of souls back home! What's taking a few with us gonna do?" Panic snapped his fingers and the mist of souls disbanded into individual ghostly orbs again. They began invading the first and third districts, but left the second district to Pain and Panic.
"Hey Panic ..... do I see what I think I see?" Pain squinted his eyes at his target. "Why .... that looks a bit like Rex!" The imps pointed their gaunt fingers at a pair of humans conversing with eachother. "Maybe he can help us ..."
Kousei was now in semi-stage two of his plan. Things were going nice and perfect for him in this little town. With any luck he'd have the town crumbling ready to be saved in just a couple more weeks. He had waited long enough, they must have had time to deeply think about it making minds more vulnerable. Now they had to be broken again and manipulated before their minds managed to become clear again.
Noticing the two little imps in the corner of his eye he decided to completely ignore him. They didn't seem all too good, meaning the defenses were loosening already. He had been managing to keep an eye on all of the victims of his last brutal hypnotic words. As Reiho met with Caxnon he knew this may mean trouble. Caxnon took the wrong aproach and made himself insecurely vulnerable. And that spreading with the manipulative vulnerable may cause problems.
Leaning against a pole nearby he heard the two of them talking. With a smirk he decided it was time to make his own remark.
"Isn't it obvious man? She fainted because she was overcome by something. Which is why she wasn't 'herself'. Who else would she be right? And I'm hurt that you tried to kill me after I hadn't done anything to hurt any of you."
Kousei started walking over to the two. Than looking at Caxnon he showed some fake sadness.
"My own partner made such a deathly hollow threat. And such a nice young lady of high intellegence tries to upright kill me. But I can't blame the girl. I mean as she said, she wasn't herself."
Kousei gave a slight smirk hinting he knew what was going on. Of course they would assume he did, he knew enough to possibly know what's going on. He knew more than Caxnon and Reiho seemingly. He was a different person this time. The cunning genious was working his second phase.
"But... if you two hadn't done that I could help you control that little mind of yours. Afterall, who knows loss of control better than someone like me?"
He said tapping on Reiho's head. Of course this was an oxymoron. People usually assume that the selfish ones have absolutely no control. But he on the other hand, well that's what makes him so menacing.
The detective wanted to say something, but then she had a bad feeling. Two were the sources of pure malice she felt, two were an accumulation of negative energy who wished nothing but damnation, and one of them was moving towards Caxnon and her. It was Kousei.
Since her two-part "Awakening", one during the battle against the NeoShadow-Darkside heartless and the other during the strange incident with the obnoxious manipulator, her spatial and spiritual awareness increased dramatically.
She could feel thing she couldn't before, she could sense the location of living beings just by instinct, She could feel strong cumulus of negative energy and was more aware of her surroundings. Whatever happened before, that augmented her senses and was more susceptible to paranormal phenomena like darkness or spirits.
The obnoxious magnificent bastard made his movement, said some very convincing words that almost made the detective believe he was a good guy and patted her head. Alas, he couldn't be trusted, not now that Reiho somehow was able to sense danger within him thanks to her augmented senses.
"Mister ... Kousei, thanks but no thanks. I'm sorry for losing the control and almost becoming the worst kind of criminal, a murderer, and for that a appreciate your understanding.... but this is something i need to deal with alone. I may talk about it with some people like Mister Caxnon because talking about you problems makes you feel better, but this is something i have to deal with alone"
As she spoke the other source of malice, spiritual energy and negative emotions started to lose concentration and spread itself everywhere. A quick glance at the original source of the strong spiritual energy revealed two creatures that couldn't be noting but devils. They were looking at the group and Reiho looked back at them. Regretful, sorrowful and resentful spirits full of negative emotions danced around the unknown creatures before going at different directions.
"There's something over there"
The detective guided the sight of her companions with her own sight. By themselves they didn't look like powerful creatures of chaos, but the detective knew that appearances often were deceiving.
"Mister Kousei"
She said with a serious tone in her voice, most of her doubts about herself dispelled for the encounters with Kiryu, Lakuri, Jameth and the re-encounter with Caxnon.
"My problem isn't only psychological. Whatever I did to you before it wasn't something I was able to do before, and my senses become sharper. I appreciate your goodwill gesture but I can't trust you because I feel something within you, something equally as bad if not worse than the negative energy by now gone that appeared where those devils are"
The detective heard before about warriors who were able to sense auras and even be able to "smell" the scent of darkness, and she had somehow awakened abilities akin to those the moment a heartless almost stole her heart and "something" entered within her the first time she appeared in the room with many doors. She wasn't sure what she felt within Kousei, but it was something even more dreadful than the sadistic greed aura he emanated before when she awakened her abilities to sense things.
Said that, she continued looking at the devils. Oddly enough they seemed to express more fear than malice, maybe malice fueled by a strong fear for something or somebody, but she couldn't lower her guard until knowing what their goals were.
Caxnon listened to Reiho speak, and he remained silent for a while. He paid no attention to Kousei's words, he had felt a familiar aura. He looked at the monsters that the detectvie was pointing at. Those creatures were souls..he had no doubt about it, so could that mean that pain was here too?..This wasn't good.
'' Do us both a favor and keep your mouth shut'' Caxnon said to Kousei
He walked for a while then stopped directly in front of the souls.
'' Alright pain, I know your here..what do you want?'' Caxnon said loudly.
Tyson stepped into the desserted square of Traverse Town which was indeed the Second District, It had been a while since the incident with a troublesome theif named Kousei. He regretted saying what he had said to him, he wouldn't usually let his anger get the better of him so he planned to apologise to him next time he saw him.
He walked casually down the stone steps and he looked up ahead and he saw three people he knew, one was Caxnon the other was the girl who had fainted the last time they met and speak of the devil Kousei was there too. What a strange coincidence he thought as he began to approach them, he called out to them "Hey Caxnon, it's been a while...oh hey Kousei and Reiho."
Tyson was happy to see Caxnon and Reiho again when he reached them he nodded stifly at Kousei and gave him a rather guilty smile, though when he turned to face Caxnon his expression returned friendly.
"So what brings you two here?, I didn't think we'd see each other for a while, at least you haven't left this town yet." He said with a smile. [/blockquote]
Pain and Panic looked down from their crow's nest. Well, it wasn't too hard for themselves to get spotted out ..... The two devils looked at eachother. First in confusion as to what must be done, but then, knowing what eachother was thinking, two fiendish smiles curled over their faces. They fluttered down from the gizmo shop to meet Rex and these new mortals. They flew so fast and clumsily, that Pain accidently shoved Panic over, which unbalanced the imp, sending him falling head first infront of the group of people.
Pain landed just with a bouncing belly, and a twisted grimace. He immediatley followed up Tyson's question. "Why yes, Caxnon ... What DOES bring you and yer lil' pals here? Hmmmm?" He said with his smile slithering like a snake. Panic picked himself up off the ground. "Sorry ta interrupt yer apparent reunion here, buuuuut ...." Before the blue imp could finish, Pain jumped in to change his partner's question. "Buuuuut we were jus' hangin' out here. We happened ta see ya, so, HEY, why not meet up with ol' Caxnon again? How 'bout introducin us ta yer friends now?" Pain said with a devilish plan in mind ....
Kousei listened intently and completely ignored everyone else except Tyson. As he nodded to Kousei, he smiled back with a happy nod. Basically implying that all his actions were forgiven. Than ignoring Caxnon's orders he once again started adressing Reiho. The logic was going to get her killed, if she was lucky.
"Ya'see, that works usually. If this is a normal situation. But you see these are how people turn into a heartless. They don't allow help and they think it's simply something they can talk through with someone to make themselves feel better."
For once in his life Kousei was winging it. And noticed everyone else while saying it. But he was still focused and on top of his game as ever.
"But you see. Going to those you can trust won't help you. Because they can't help you. Simply because you trust them. You trust them because they are not of the darkness. Even the ones that are aren't swallowed by dark essences..."
He said referring to Kousei. Who wasn't of the light but nor was he evil.
"And you see. By going to them, they have less of an idea how to help you. Because they have not experianced being swallowed by darkness, or coming close to it. And that's why you trust them, they are not of darkness. You see your mistake here is that your turning away from me. When really I'm the only one who knows how to allow darkness consuming you, but not let it overcome you"
Kousei had finally managed to get to his point. Basically what he said was true. He was the ideal person to help Reiho.
"If you let me help you. You can keep yourself in tact. But you can also be more powerful than ever. Control the darkness. Either way darkness will overcome and you will have to deal with it. So... what's it going to be? Take a sure deal and go to your friends and become a heartless. Or take a slight risk by going to someone who you don't trust and has never given you a reason to mistrust them... and learn how to control it and keep yourself?"
Kousei than turned around. Knowing what the decision was going to be. It was simply for the greater good. As he turned around he stopped.
"And keep in mind. You would be no use to me as a mindless heartless. So you can trust me that far. But it's your choice"
He said with a shrug as he continued to walk off
(I trust kousei will be stopped with a reply. But if he isn't kousei left)
When he nodded at Kousei who surprisngly gave him a cheerful nod which must mean that he was forgiving, Tyson felt rateher relieved it also brightend up his mood because he was feeling guilty ever since the last incident with Kousei. He gave him a thumb's up, but his attention quickly turned to where Caxnon was shouting at. When he looked he noticed two small strange looking creatures, and by the looks of things, Caxnon had encountered these two before judging by how they all knew eachother.
One of them repeated the same question that he had asked Caxnon when he arrived, though it didn't really matter Tyson was just glad to see his friends again. He looked down at the small creatures "Excuse me but who are you two?, and how long have you known Caxnon?."
He asked them calmly and patiently waited for their response. [/blockquote]
Kousei had a point. For all the planning and thievery he committed, at least there was something she knew, that Kousei never lied. He was willing to hide the truth or manipulate it ruthlessly, but he never lied, and if she was really affected by the darkness of the neoshadow that attacked her, maybe a dude with a dark heart like Kousei knew how to deal with the darkness.
"I ... umm ... I can't decide right now. You caused much pain before ... but you are the only person i know that accept darkness without losing humanity ... I need some time"
She knew that Caxnon was going to be against the idea of cooperating with Kousei, but probably it was the only choice she had. It also had something to do with her choice to at least consider his help the face she still felt guilt from the incident near the café.
"Mister Tyson?"
So focused was in what to say to Kousei that she noticed a bit late the presence Tyson, a fellow companion from the café incident.
"I-i'm sorry for what i did near the café. I must've acted like a lunatic ..."
And next to Tyson and the others the two imps fell. Caxnon clearly felt their presence to be bothersome, but the imps insisted that they were friends with him.
"I'm Reiho, and who .. or what are you? Why Mister Caxnon knows you?"
