In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Despite the fact that he disliked everything that Roze said, Caxnon refused to cause any trouble. He waited for him to finish speaking before answering, but he also glanced at Reiho and recognized her thinking face. The nobody remained silent at first still trying to think of what to say.
After a while Caxnon simply folded his arms and addressed Roze.
Antique glanced to the ground at Roze spoke, not exactly liking the words that were coming from him. Though she tried, Antique was never that good at hiding her emotions. More often than not, they tended to wear themselves on her sleeve--Reiho and Caxnon recognizing that she had been upset, and being able to differentiate between a fake smile and a real one was plenty evidence enough.
This was the first time she had heard more detailed information about this Organization, and she idly wondered if Roze was...part of something like that too. She had known that he was a Heartless--that information wasn't new to her, but at the worst, she had probably only seen him being mildly annoyed. She had given Caxnon the benefit of the doubt when she figured out he was a Nobody, and she had extended that to Roze as well. Until something otherwise changed her mind.
Laying her hand over her heart, she looked up at Roze, who had dropped the word "friend". Her hand clutched over her chest, and smiled gently, as she tilted her head. "I'm glad we're that..." she said quietly. "And..." she continued, barely over a whisper. A mist covered her eyes, as she nodded.
"I understand," she whispered.
She did her best to maintain her composure. She had to fight plenty of friends in the past. It wasn't something she liked to remember, but she knew. "I just hope it doesn't come to that..."

He smiled at Antique for not making a fuss over such a thing and excepting it as it was. Though he was happy for sad reasons that didn't matter. Hearing the final words he shook his head. "Do not worry Antique, something tells me the time will be far off for when we may face eachother." Roze was speaking truthfully knowing that unless the Dark XII chose to move against Traverse Town, nothing of the sort would happen.
Turning his head back to the girl who he had ignored at first for her questioning he held a mildly stoic face. "You ask if I am a heartless or simply sympathize with them, though by now you probably should've figured it out. So to answer your question, yes, I am a heartless. Though that is already known to Antique and Caxnon so there isn't much you can do with it." Looking at the girl he really didn't believe her to be a threat. Though looks could be decieving she seemed like a normal person who was going to get hurt if she continued to look for info on subjects that were better left to ones they involved.
(Short but there isn't much of a muse for me right now.)
"Why would a heartless take human shape? What's your relationship with this nobody made Organization XIII? Does the heartless have their own organization and there's more like you?"
She knew he wasn't going to answer anyway, but seeing his reaction would be priceless. Heartless were made of pure emotion and instinct, so she theorized this human-like heartless would change his stoic face if she hit the right spot with her questions or keep it if he knew nothing.
"Miss Antique, if he were to become an enemy of yours, I'll help you to put an end to his misery. And if there's a way to transform him into the human he once was, I will find it"
This wasn't the moment to pick a fight, even Caxnon who was well known for solving everything with his gunblade and magics restrained himself from killing the dark one. She lowered her guard and was sure the heartless wouldn't attempt anything fatal in front of the girl knight and the gunblade wielding nobody, at least not while he were a friend of Antique.
Caxnon narrowed his eyes. Hr still couldn't understand exactly what Roze wanted..but he was going to have to find out. Maybe he was for once, here just to move about..and not to cause much trouble. The nobody had no personal grudge against Roze, but that didn't mean that he liked his attitude.
'' Reiho..save your breath..asking questions won't do you any good, not when you won't get any answers'' Caxnon said.
He closed his eyes for a while, then spoke again.
'' Roze If you are simply hear without a particular reason, then please at least try and stop causing such tension. interrupting others is bad enough..'' Caxnon said.
Antique gently let her hand fall from her heart to her side, as she looked off into the distance. If it ever came to that day where she had to fight Roze, she could only hope that she was strong enough to hold her own. The face of her Queen flashed across her mind...fighting against a dear friend, or someone she deeply respected was not something she was ever prepared to do. And if Roze was nearly as strong as her Queen had been...then she knew she was in a world of trouble.
"I truely hope it does not happen," she said quietly.
She listened quietly to Reiho. The conversation had put a damper on her mood, but she treasured the happy moments they had just had.
"I'm not exactly sure how they can appear human," Antique said quietly, though the question wasn't aimed at her. "But I think it has something to do with an exceptionally strong heart," she said, thinking back upon her experience with the Queen from her home world.
Reiho's last statement made Antique smile, albeit troubledly. She didn't want to think of "putting-anyone-out-of-their-misery" and she had no idea if Roze even wanted to be human. "Thank you Reiho," she whispered. Maybe Jadis would know more about this. Either way, there was more research to definately be done.
She moved so that her fingertips lightly brushed against Caxnon's hand, in an innocent way of making sure that he was alright. She smiled at him, in an attempt to say that everything was alright.

Turning his attention first to Caxnon he smiled at the mans question. "In truth Caxnon, I am hear for no reason. I have nothing that requires my attention at the moment. As for tension, well that's not always a bad thing is it? Even more so should it arise from informing others." The smile remained on his face nothing menacing about it.
He turned his head to the girl asking several questions none of which he cared for. "I have no info to give you regarding those subjects. And I'll repeat myself on something you seem to have forgotten, do not become involved in the affairs of those in the dark, unless you wish to be made a target or worse, join them." What he said was not a threat but it was true.
Hearing the girls next words he narrowed his eyes slightly "Change me back into a human? Who said I wanted to be one again? Though what you think of as a noble deed to be done I consider it foul. I like my current state as it stands, after all what I want can't be done if I was a human. That being said he held his hand out slightly as a single violet rose materialized in his hand. He like his powers of flora over anything else and he didn't want to lose them.
She didn't know what to do with his answer. He remained calm, but he still insisted in hiding the truth. At least her hypothesis about the human-like heartless having their own organization like the nobodies was neither confirmed nor refuted so it may be true after all.
"I'm careful, they would never discover about my investigation, so I'm not worried at all"
Once more she was testing this so called peaceful heartless. How could those mindless creatures communicate with their superiors if they lacked a will of their own? This man knew something and maybe there were spies of the dark ones between the humans looking for people who digs too deep in their dirty business, or maybe HE was a spy.
"You are already corrupted and seduced by evil. It's normal you don't want to go back to being human, but once you change back you'll appreciate it and maybe you could learn to use the same skills you currently possess by yourself instead of borrowing the power of the heartless, which is the cheap way to grow stronger instead of training hard."
Knowing this man, he was going to have a witty answer of the "Everybody thinks heartless are innately evil but he's not and he still has his own will, everybody who thinks like that is biased and you need to take advantage of any situation to grow stronger" kind, but as usual, what he said was as important as the way he said it. In fact, it was even better if he thought she was a simple minded heartless hating person for underestimating your opponent was one of the most fatal actions one could commit.
Caxnon didn't say much after that. He wasn't at all surprised at Roze's answer, not many people like him would want to be normal again. As interesting as it was to listen to Roze continue talking about endless nonsense...he was really getting tired of it.
He was about to say something, but was interrupt by Antique's hand slightly brushing against his. That familiar tingling sensation went up his arm again. He managed to glance at Antique.
Realizing that he nearly forgot what this day was meant for, he decided to take control of the situation.
'' I see. You know for someone with a heart, you secrtainly know how to abuse it. Listen It's a good thing that your here...to um..roam about. But honestly...If you came here to provoke people...please stop'' Caxnon said as politely as possible.
Antique smiled up at Caxnon. She was never quite sure what to make of him sometimes. Alot of the time, he came off as grumpy--but once in awhile, he seemed to...oh, how would she explain it. Come to life? It was probably just her imagination. It was because of that she just...well, couldn't believe he was a Nobody!
She watched the flower bloom in Roze's hands, her eyes went a bit wide. She still kept that one rose he had given her on their first meeting. It hadn't wilted (which she seemed to like) but she planned on pressing its between pages in a book when it did...she remembered someone doing that once, but she couldn't quite remember who.
She did look a bit disappointed when her suspicions were correct about Roze not wanting to be human. "Maybe it comes from like this...I mean..." she said quietly. "No offense, Roze," she said. "But I'm not sure I'd want to be a Heartless," she whispered. Mainly because the entire thought of being a shadow kind of creeped her out. "Changing, for anyone...it just kind of seems like a big sacrifice...I mean, I like who I am," she said, after a pause. "Looking at it like that, I kind of see why you wouldn't want to be human."
"Though I'm sure that's not the reason at all, right?" she asked, in a sweet voice.
Especially since being human was all she knew how to be. She didn't think Roze was evil...at all.

(Extremely late but after my first post got destroyed I couldn't find much time to put it in. Personal issues are over so I shouldn't encounter this problem again.)
Roze let out a deep sigh at the girls ignorance. It needed no reply though, if he had learned anything from dealing with Max is that if someone thought the Heartless evil, let them, they couldn't be swayed. Best to just let them die. He looked towards Rex as he had asked him to provoke no one but he didn't feel as if he had done such a thing. "Very well Rex, and thank you for trying to keep the peace. In truth though I feel I should be making myself scarce soon." The way he spoke was apathetic as if he didn't care for the situation around him anymore.
Turning his eyes to Antique he let a dry laugh out. "Do not worry Antique, you won't change into a Heartless if you keep yourself safe. As for why I have no wish to be human, well if you remember a conversation we had some time ago, you may recall I despise humanity. And besides..." Roze lapsed into silence as he stared at a shimmering light in the darkened skys seeing it disappear. "Universal peace cannot be accomplished as a human..." His eyes seemed glazed over as a bright yellow took over part of the reddish pink. "That reminded me of something Antique. I met a woman going by the name of Jadis who claimed to be your teacher. Whether or not she was telling the truth I ask that you watch yourself around her Antique, she has a great amount of darkness in her heart, more than enough to change a normal human into a Heartless." Roze's words held a worried tone, he didn't want the girl to fall into the dark like he had.
"It's true that humans can't accomplish universal peace, but neither can the heartless"
She rectified the heartless's words for they were just the sad ideals of a sad creature who long lost anything that resembled humanity
"Heartless only live to destroy and corrupt other hearts, and the only way they can achieve some sort of universal peace is by destroying everything. If you think only destruction can bring peace, the heartless should be destroyed too, especially the human-like ones like you because they represent everything that was wrong with humanity and more."
Judging by the way Roze was, if he was what one would consider a "peace loving heartless", she could only imagine the horrible acts of violence and death the not so friendly human type heartless would commit.
"Or at least that's what I think. How can you prove that heartless are the solution and not part of the problem? They even go as far as destroy the lives of innocent beings like dogs and cats to further increase their numbers despite they lack the human intellect to build weapons and wage war. And you are hungry for power and that makes you more human than you think, so you can never be part of the solution, because you are willing to kill even Miss Antique in your crusade against humanity to satisfy your selfish lust for power and destruction"
Somehow she felt those were the right words to say in a situation like this. What kind of future can a create without future build if they destroy anything that had something resembling future? A world of stagnant darkness where life no longer exist, such a sad dream of nothingness. She then looked at Miss Antique.
"Miss Antique, don't worry. For what I understand, you only become a heartless if you willingly accept to become one. Even if this miss Jadis has darkness, everybody has darkness and that's part of what makes us humans. If Mister heartless become one was because he decided to give up what made him good and keep only his negative traits to remain a human heartless"
Her memories of the man who become so obsessed with a petty revenge that become a powerful heartless still remained fresh in her memory and she wasn't going to forget anytime soon the madness and lack of humanity in his face as he embraced his inner darkness and become a composite neoshadow-darkside heartless who still had traces of personality and human intelligence unlike the mindless low ranked heartless.
"I know from experience that only people corrupted by their own darkness become the foulest and strongest heartless. At first I didn't think it was possible but Mister heartless proven me that was the case"
Caxnon listened to both Reiho and Roze. Both of them had very different views, and normally he wouldn't say anything..but this somehow indirectly concerned him. This wasn't the time to talk about such things, he wanted this to be over....it seemed pointless to talk about this, at least today.
'' Reiho while what you say is true, remember that it is our choices that define who we are...a human can be just as horrible to others as heartless. And just because Roze is a heartless..doesn't mean he's evil. Everyone can change Reiho'' Caxnon said.
He said this while glancing at Antique...as if to stress on a point.
Antique remembered the last conversation they had had indeed. It was just so suprising that someone as gentle as Roze hated humanity. She had seen and experienced some of humanities very low times...but it had never been enough to make her despise it. The very thought of it ending brought saddness to her.
She wanted to protect it. No, it wasn't that. It was something deeper than that. Perhaps it was because she was a Knight, it was her duty to protect...perhaps, her way of life. Protect...life?
"I...remember," Antique said quietly. She looked up at him, unconsciously asking if he hated her, too, because she was human. "I might not be able to accomplish much peace as a human...but..." she said, quietly. "I can do my best. I can't save all of the starfish....but I can save the ones that I can!" she said, making a reference to a very old story her adopted father used to tell her. If given the opportunity to, though, she would have. Antique wasn't that powerful, and she knew it. But she'd protect what she did have. She'd do what she could do. "If my best isn't good enough, at least I won't go down with regret."
She cradled her chest, as it felt warm. "I know it sounds ridiculous, and I know it would be hard for any of you to understand how I feel...is that strange?" she asked, softly smiling.
"Lady Jadis is indeed my teacher," she said softly. She smiled, thinking about her teacher. "She may have darkness in her heart...and i'm aware of that...but...I don't...think much harm will come to me."

Roze narrowed his eyes a deep malice held within them. He flung his arm out towards the girl, the rose it contained soon shifting into several rose petals as they began to multiply steadily forming a small sword pointing at the girl. "Watch your tounge girl, if you do not know that of which you speak then don't speak at all. Peace through darkness is better than for things to continue as they are. Humans dieing by human and heartless hand without prejudice is horrible, I grow tired of the vicious cycle so it is best to eliminate it all together. Besides, this world is ruled by selfish instinct, you and I are no different in that form. Now keep your mouth shut lest you want to understand what it's like to die." Roze no longer had a smile on his face and although all traces of yellow had disappeared from his eyes they held much hatred.
"Caxnon, I thank you for your words, but I doubt it will change her take on my kind, and just like you wished I shall be departing now." Roze spoke smoothly and in a somber manner feeling that it was time to leave. "Antique, I shall hope you remain safe in these passing days. As always I shall be in Twilight Town, if you ever find a way there I shall be sure to greet you and show you around, it truly is nice compared to this everlasting night time." The last syllable spoke a small portal of darkness opened up as Roze took several steps back disappearing into the dark. Now gone the petals taking the shape of the sword disintegrated.
