In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

In a flash of light, both Max and Drago appeared in the square in the middle of the First District of Traverse Town. As the strange feeling of disorientation wore off of the Drydenian Soldier, he looked around, using the ring to try and find Caxnon.
It didn't take long for the enchanted piece of jewelry to lock onto him, and in no time at all, the two were moving through the town searching for the man.
Caxnon was just coming back from the second district. After an intense battle with a few of the heartless that attacked him, he thought that he should take a break. He walked the streets of Traverse Town with his eyes on the floor. The nobody didn't like making eye contact with people; partly because they looked so strange.
After several minutes he noticed two figures coming towards him, and they didn't look too friendly either.
Caxnon placed his hand on his weapon, then slowly started walking backwards.

Drago was slightly dazed from the after-effects of the transport. She and Max were on the task of searching for Caxnon, to try and convince him to join the "Anti-Heartless Crusade", as Drago liked to call it. She and Max had been searching the area for a while, following the ring, and traces of his aura.
After a while, Drago noticed Caxnon's aura somewhere near. She looked around for the Nobody, and spotted him close to the Second District door. "He looks tired. Probably been fighting Heartless," Drago thought. after a closer look, she noticed that he was backing away from her and Max. Drago raised an eyebrow, and spoke, "Uh, Caxnon? It's me..."
Max took notice of Caxnon's warriness of the two of them at once. It was odd, because Max knew he'd met Caxnon before in Twilight Town, when they'd fought those white things. Maybe the other man had forgotten him?
It didn't matter, though. Max was there to talk to him, and that was that. Nothing would sway him from his course, even if he had to fight. He was tired of the heartless and their mindless destruction of innocent worlds. He intended to stop them too.
"We won't hurt you Caxnon," Max said, raising his eyebrow at the other man,"Maybe you don't recognize me, but we fought alongside each other in Twilight Town against those white things."
Caxnon hesitated when the two spoke. He remembered Drago's voice, and he was sure that he had seen the man in front of him before. It took some effort, but he was finally able to let go of his weapon. He was quite jumpy at the moment, and he was tired. What exactly did they want?
The nobody kept his eyes on the floor and avoided eye contact with them.

(Sorry for lateness, I was trying to beat Dante Must Die mode on Devil may Cry >.>)
Drago stayed silent, wondering what to say to Caxnon, who wasn't normally jumpy and timid. The sword wielder hesitated, then spoke up.
"I'm not good with explanations, but just hear what Max has to say," Drago spoke earnestly, glancing at Max. She wondered how he would explain to Caxnon, and how Caxnon would react.
Max nodded to Drago and turned back to Caxnon. Well, this was it. Time to give the spiel one more time....
"Caxnon, you know Mikael much better than myself, right? Well, me and him have decided we're tired of the Heartless ravaging our worlds. We've decided to start striking back at them instead of just sitting back and waiting for them to attack us. We're getting together a group to help us, and he suggested you. It's why I'm here.
"I won't lie to you. It'll be really dangerous, but if we succeed in diminishing the Heartless' threat, it'll be well worth it. Our ultimate goal is to completely eradicate the Heartless, even though it's almost next to impossible to do so.
"So....what do you say? Would you be willing to join us?"
Caxnon listened to Max in silence. He followed this up with more silence, and somehow something about there plan didn't seem right. When did they decide to form this group? And how come Mikael didn't tell him about this personally? Something just wasn't right.
'' By heartless, you mean the group of them thats causing trouble? Or all of them?'' Caxnon asked both of them without looking up.

"When I was recruited, I assumed it to be all of the Heartless, as a whole. The leaders and their underlings," Drago spoke dryly, as Max simply said, 'the Heartless' when she was being recruited. By the look on Caxnon's face, it didn't seem that he was all in for it. Perhaps it was just his mood. He did seem rather tired when Drago saw him earlier.
Drago looked at both Max and Caxnon, to try and see what they thought of this. By the look of Caxnon, and the fact that he was silent, perhaps the nobody had a lot of questions in mind.
Hopefully Max could get to the details quickly, Drago thought.
Max gave Caxnon a quizzical look when he asked whether he wanted to get rid of all the heartless or just a small group of them. What kind of question was that?
"What do you mean, the group of them that's causing trouble?" he asked Caxnon,"So far as I know, they're all causing trouble. I don't know anything about a specific group of them."
He was confused by this. About the only group of heartless he knew about was the group that appears whenever they pop up somewhere. This troubled him, though, because 'group' implied a gathering of heartless that worked together.....which implied that these heartless also had conscious thought. That was......a prospect Max didn't want to think about. The mindless ones were bad enough, but if there were some that could actually think out there?
'' I don't think all of them should be killed off. The heartless are part of the way of the worlds, you can't destroy all of them but you can stop the ones that are the biggest threat'' Caxnon said.
If these guys were trying to kill every last heartless, then it was a suicide mission. But he had to know how they were going to fight the heartless. None of them had a keyblade, so it would be difficult.
Caxnon took a few steps for ward, but he suddenly collapsed. He was able to stop himself from hitting the ground by putting his hand on the floor.

Drago retained a quiet attitude throughout Max and Caxnon's discussion. She listened carefully to what each of them said. Heartless were quite a force to reckon. Drago has had personal experience regarding the Heartless, and knew very well that some had the ability to think. How else could they invade a world such as Seia Range and almost win?
"I know thta we can't kill all Heartless, for as long as someone with jealousy, hate, or greed exists, so will the Heartless," Drago spoke softly, looking up at the stars. She let out a small gasp as one of them shined brighter for a moment, then began to dim.
Max reached forward, catching the man by the shoulders and helping him back to his feet. He gave him a slightly worried look as he helped him stand up.
"Are you okay, Caxnon?" Max asked as he helped support the man's weight,"What happened?"
Then, Max heard Drago let out a small gasp, and turned to see what was going on with her. When he saw she was looking up, he followed her gaze just in time to see a star blink out of existence...
....Another world had just died, succumbed to the Heartless.
Max cursed silently to himself. That was exactly what they were trying to stop by forming this group. Ending the Heartless totally was a secondary goal. Their top priority was to defend the worlds from the Heartless to keep them from destroying any more. To keep something like what happened on his own homeworld from happening ever again.
Max pulled himself away from those thoughts. No, he needed to stay in the here and now. Something was apparently wrong with Caxnon. if he needed help, Max couldn't just sit there and day dream. He might need help, and if he did, he couldn't be sitting there thinking about tomorrow. That could be dangerous with what they were going to be doing soon. It was best to get himself ready for the adjustment now.
Caxnon was quite grateful, he managed to stand up and look at the max, and drago. He had already made up his mind, and he didn't want to waste anymore time. Seeing as how another world was just lost.
'' I'm just tired...I'll do whatever I can to help.'' Caxnon said. As soon as he finished speaking however, he passed out.

Drago was a little taken aback by Caxnon passing out. She approached the Nobody, pressing her hand to his forehead. His temperature seemed normal, but was he fighting earlier? What happened to weaken the Nobody, to tire him like this?
Drago turned her head to Max. "We should get him somewhere he can rest for a while," she spoke to the water user.
She glanced up at the vanishing star ruefully, then turned back to Max, waiting for his response.
