In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Despite Seiger's whispered question, the two imps still managed to hear it. In a whisper, "What? Too little? Need someone ta hold yer hand?" Pain mocked. Panic quickly slapped the back of his partners head. There's no need to antagonize anyone, until the time was right. "Heheh. Well ya see, we aren't fighters. You're like some kinda warrior .... a HERO. WE on the other hand, are basically .... uuuh ...." "Aaaw. Face it Panic, we ain't nuttin' but errand boys!" Pain yelled. "Erm .... yeah. Errand boys. And our errand, right now, is to find help, by helping others such as yerself. We've helped ya once, now we'll help ya again. Whaddya want? The underworld has most everything ya need!"
Panic's fake smile disappeared as he noticed the group of souls try and escape. The blue imp quickly opened a swirling, dark portal on the ground. From it emerged a large, ghostly presence. The creature bobbed around shapelessly, as it growled at the souls. Before they could fly any further, the entity slowly began absorbing them all into its belly, with intentions of sending them back to the Underworld. As it continued its job, the entity growled at the group.

"Wake up!" I wanna sleep, bro, I need to recover "We're in trouble!" Yeah, I know, that's why I'm resting, so that... "Seiger! This is Bob! Wake the hell up!"
Seiger's eyes snapped open and he pushed himself to his feet, leaping off the ground immediately and taking stock of his surroundings. He saw a shapeless shadow in the middle of the plaza, the white orbs gently floating towards it. Those that reached its dark mass seemed to disappear into the darkness. Was this another heartless? Another demon? Pain and Panic seemed to be watching the blob intently as it sucked up the souls, and he guessed it meant that the souls were going back to hell. He could not stand by and watch these spirits be condemned!
"Seiger!" the voice rang out in his head as more orbs were sucked into the shadow. Seiger landed far from the shadow, and quickly summoned his sword, the blade burning silver as he brought it up, the winds rushing about him as he drew in the power of the sword. With a shout he brought his blade down, releasing a gale that flew from his sword, knocking the black mass back several feet, the orbs that were floating towards it suddenly tried to move away, as if the suction were gone as the demon lost its focus. Seiger leapt forward and ushered the orbs away from the two imps, who stood there apparently dumbfounded. He raised his sword against them, the long blade staring menacingly down at them.
"Pain, Panic!" he called out to the two imps, "You will not have these souls! So go back to your hell or whatever you call it and stay there!"
The ghostly creature rumbled as it raised itself higher into the air. Pain and Panic were both confused and equally scared. This kid can fight heartless, Furies, and even the Underworld's staff. What kind of maniac is he? "Uuuh .... Hell?" "Heeeelllll?" The two imps had no clue what Seiger was talking about. Many souls have called the Underworld "hell", but since it was also the only true heaven on Olympus, they had no where else to go. "Are you jus' plain BLASPHEMIN'?! These souls are SUPPOSED ta stay in the Underworld! That's what the afterlife's FOR!" Pain yelled.
While his job as Hades' flunky was quite horrible, he wouldn't dare risk having some random mortal control his duties. "Yeah kid, what right do YOU have ta say who dies and who doesn't?" "Besides, where ELSE could these souls go? It's not like they're late fer a party!" The imps were always annoyed by souls. They hated the Underworld, but can't go any where else. Essentially, they just don't like after life. "Hades ain't gonna like this ...." As the imps spoke, the large massive ghost chased after the souls.
"The afterlife..." Seiger was taken aback by the outbursts of the pink and blue imps. Was it true? "There is a heaven and a hell, souls go to one or the other, they don't all get bottled up in one place... Do they? A trick? Or is it simply how their world works?" He turned and noticed the beast had gotten back up and was chasing the orbs once more. In annoyance he flicked his sword arm, sending yet another blast of wind at the ghost, causing it to stumble and crash into a nearby wall. The orbs did not stop shivering as the ghost reared up and a deep growl came from the mass of shadow. Seiger paid it no mind, keeping his eyes on Pain and Panic.
"You guys are gonna have to convince me or put me down. Otherwise y'all ain't getting anywhere near these souls!"
Pain and Panic jumped back in shock as another gust of wind knocked away the large phantom figure. It clawed at the air, growling for revenge. But then, their fear formed back into bravery when Seiger spoke of "convincing" him. "Convince ya? ..... heheheh ..." "Oh .... Weeeelll .... What if we brought ya to our .... erm .... Boss? Hahahaheheh. Then you can ask him if you can KEEP these souls fer yerself." Pain and Panic's smiles returned to their faces. The large ghost was not so happy and decided to go after Seiger instead. A white, misty blotch from its side shaped into a hand ready to slam down on the mortal. "Woah! Ya better make sure HE'S cool with it too!" Pain yelped as both he and his partner jumped out of the ghost's way.
The hand came down and slammed into Seiger, throwing the young man from the plaza and knocking him through a window. He landed hard amongst the shards of glass, struggling to regain his breath. The ghost leapt into the house after him, raising its hand to pound the boy, and Seiger raised his blade to block the blow. The hand came down and met the magical blade, slicing through its ghostly flesh, and the ghost roared in anguish as its white hand fell away and shimmered out of existence. Seiger brought the blade down, swinging at the ghost, which quickly leapt off him and into a corner of the small room they were in. His sword was so long that as he swung it he cut into the walls of the room, the dimensions of the room unable to contain the two metre long blade. He quickly got up and stabbed at the ghost, which leapt away. Seiger spun to slice the ghost in half, cutting through the walls as he did so, but it leapt at his face and soon all Seiger saw was darkness, the ghost wrapping itself around his skull. He struggled and tried to pull the ghost off, but in his confusion he tripped over the window and tumbled to the street below, landing with a thump on the ground. A moment passed, the boy neither moving nor breathing, and the ghost gingerly unwrapped itself from his skull, wounded from the fight. It moved quietly as it slithered over to inspect the sword that the boy wielded, wondering how its blade could cut so easily through it.
"See ya," the ghost leapt back in shock as the boy gripped the sword, but not far enough. Seiger swung his blade, the long katana cutting through the ghost, the cut so fine that the ghost did not separate into two, but continued to roar. He quickly brought the blade down and cleaved through the ghost once more, this time the ghost fell silent. Getting up on trembling limbs, Seiger moved past the ghost, which fell to the ground in four pieces, each piece warping into darkness just before it touched the floor. Once more, Seiger stood before Pain and Panic, his limbs trembling and his heart pounding. He stood up straight and held his sword out at them again, hoping to hide his fatigue.
"Now," he spoke, trying to keep the tremor out of his voice, "Convince me,"
The two imps looked on as the ghost's sliced pieces evaporated into darkness. From where each part of the beast disappeared, multitudes of souls emerged, freed. Pain and Panic were no longer surprised by such a feat. They've seen plenty of heroes do battle, and this kid was already proving himself to be some kind of .... useful hero.
"Soooo, ya wanna be convinced?" "Then come with us. You and yer lil' dead buddies can meet up with .... The lord from down UNDER!!!" Pain yelled loudly, summoning a dark portal behind Seiger. The imps didn't want to waste another second at this. The dark portal began sucking in all orbs of souls nearby, all of them swallowed by the dark shape. The other souls were safe from the portal. Seiger however, was the target of the swirling shadow. It began sucking in the mortal, ready to transport him .... to the gateway to the Underworld .... the souls would be hard to catch, but Pain and Panic figured they hunt them all done later.
"What?!" Seiger felt the pull of the portal behind him as Pain and Panic looked on, the souls around him being drawn into the portal. Instinct made him stab the sword into the ground, gripping the hilt so tight that his knuckles turned white as his feet left the ground. Suspended horizontally in the air, the boy held on for another moment before realizing that this was perhaps what the Light intended for him, that he would descend into darkness during his quest.
"But I'm weak! Exhausted! There's no way I could do anything in there!" Seiger thought helplessly as he felt the last of his strength fade away. Finally he lost his grip on his sword, the katana shimmering out of existance, and he tumbled into the darkness.

OOC: You can do what ya want with Seiger in the next post. Like, move him and stuff if he's unconscious, it's entirely up to you. I think RPers should have more freedom when it comes to weaving a story =)
Koto ran towards the boy from the outskirts of the battlefield as he was trying to avoid getting sucked into the strange portal by planting his sword to the ground. She held out her hand at first seeing if he would grab it, but his grip became loose on the swords handle, and he was being pulled into the portal.
Koto tried now to get his hand, and help him out, but the force was much more stronger then she had expected. She failed to grab his hand, and she two was beginning to be pulled into the strange darkness.
Moments later, she fell from up high, and opened her eyes. She was in some kind of strange lair..this diffidently wasn't Traverse Town.
Around her the souls were fleeing, she forced herself with some trouble to stand up, and regain her balance. In front of her the ugly beasts had fallen. From what she had seen, and heard their names were Pain, and Panic. Whatever they were, they were responsible for this. She walked over towards them, and picked one of them up. The purple one, Pain by the tail. She held him out in front of her face, and glared at him. "Where are we?! I want an explanation now." She demanded calmly. They had obviously landed in another world, but which one? If she couldn't get answers from these things, she could always ask any other person that might be here.
