In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Traverse Town had seen a plethora of rain over the past few weeks. Today was no different. The drops came down in sheets, colliding with every horizontal surface they could find, creating a soft hum that could faintly compliment the sounds emanating from a small, gold and red music box. The instrument rested contentedly on the dark blue pavement, parading its beautiful notes for the whole district to hear. Its brilliant luster spoke for its young age. The white price tag was still attached, weather blurring its numbers.
The whole scene was practically singing its tranquility. It was ironic really, for the district’s only current inhabitant. Reliquim, while he crouched over idly for now, was far from fitting into such a scene; and yet, here he was, rocking slightly back and forth on his feet, hugging his knees. From beneath his messy silver hair, it was apparent that he was looking far beyond the music box his eyes had come to rest on.
Strange, really, that even someone as inwardly mangled as he, could be stilled by the magic serenade of such a dazzling contraption. The Emberfox appeared to be relaxed, for however brief a time. But the gloomy mechanics beyond the stretch of his eye were conjuring something twisted... something cruel... something to ruin.
((Current position: Think L. And his music box? Shambolic = Chaotic.))
Cyrus stepped into the seemingly empty district, his hood up, blocking out some of the rain. It had been a while since he had stepped foot outside like this; water and he didn't mix well at all. Fire sizzled out before it had a chance to burn, and using lightning based attacks when wet was just plain stupid.
His ears twitched as the melody of the music box hit his ears, and suddenly the rain seemed insignificant compared to its melody. He resisted the urge to hum alongside it, afraid his rough voice would mar the soothing qualities of the song.
Thus, he merely stood there in the rain, eyes closed, yet his polearm was gripped tightly in his right hand, more out of habit than anything. I wonder where that melody is coming from... He opened an eye and began to scan the black expanse, trying to discover where the source was.
Blood burgundy eyes stared off into the distance, silvery slices of messy hair not hindering that piercing gaze in the slightest. Whatever magic the music was playing, it brought Reliquim into seriously deep thought. However, Karma deemed the Chaos-maker shouldn't dwell in tranquility; for it was far too contradictory. Thus, it sent out a small, shadowy creature. The little beast trotted right up to him, sliding against his leg with a purr.
The empty Somebody's cold eyes shot downward, glaring at the onyx kitten that had warmed up to him far too easily... And what Karma had meant for balance only became irony.
With a pair of outstretched arms, Rel had scooped the little creature up into his arms. To think of what a soul as mangled as himself might do with this adorable ball of fluff was... frightening.

This sucks slug's slim...
AAACHOO! A wet hand rubbed at a sniffingly mocha nose as the rain continued to pat black hair down causing it to sleek down as curls began to crawl up the ends. Hugging her self, fingers curled into her arms tighter to preserve the little body heat that didn't waver from her frame before being devoured the chilly aura of the rain. Blue stuck to her skin as if it was a part of her as she walked through the collecting puddles.
This was the best route of traveling as the first rain drops nearly knocked her out of the sky when Alena darted in the sky like a small hummingbird in hunt for a heartless to collect the little bounty the left behind when she whacked them hard and efficent enough. The search for junk ended when the rain began to start again. One would say the fairy saw it coming, since it has been raining for the past few days. Or was it weeks?
AAAACHOOO The sneeze was high pitch like a baby as the distinctive sound filled her chilled pointed ears yet again. It was obvious by the lack of a raincoat or things the humes called an umbrella that she was far unprepared. She was forced to use her hair as earmuffs as the usual high ponytail was free to fall over her head. Now she was kicking herself...figuratively with low annoyed mutterings at her stupidity of not buying a hat or something, while her foot took out distress at any puddles that came her way.
The mission now was to find her way through the dark town to find a momentary sanctuary to keep warm and get dry until the rain ceased. Being a small fairy, she never thought to buy a lodging or get a roommate to bunk with, since her size caused for a small living space, which gave her a variety of choices in the outdoor. Unfortunately the rain had attacked the world with a wet chilly breeze.
"I guess I'll have to sneak into the hotel or go in that vacant house in the third," she muttered lowly. The fairy was far too annoyed to hear the chimming sound of a music box. Also she hung her head low for the rain won't get in her eyes, so if anyone was nearby, she completely ignored their existence. It was time to get home.
She thought she saw a curled figure when she brushed her wet long bang that blocked the view from her left eye. Water flung off of it before her hand squeezed it out not making a double take to see the blur in her peripheral vision.
Cyrus slowly stepped further into the district, carefully listening to the tune of the music box. His footsteps sounded heavy, splashing in the pools of water, as he ran his fingers through his rain-drenched hair. Is someone else here? The warrior felt out of place somehow, as if his presence conflicted with the very atmosphere.
Suddenly, his eyes managed to make out a faint silhouette of what seemed like a person, as well as the origin of the melody pervading through the district. Cyrus hesitated; the soothing sounds from the music box made his body feel relaxed, which only made him feel more unnerved.
Shaking his head, he cleared his anxiety, and instead embraced the rhythm of the song playing. He took a few steps closer, and finally spoke. "Hello?"
Those dazed eyes didn't budge as the raising hair on the back of his neck whispered that someone grew closer. Dark showers continued to pour down in sheets as he analyzed the encroaching presence. The hand stroking his newfound kitten pressed harder as he concentrated, but aside from that, he was still as a statue. Then came a voice.
Reliquim's head snapped up to analyze the origin of the voice, and those blood burgundy eyes set cold sight to Cyrus. It felt like someone else was there, but the odds of him actually pinpointing the fairy in this dark, blurry storm were slim. Instead, he stood, eyes twistedly wide, extending a hand in a ghastly wave to the tall stranger before him. "Why hellooo..." The return greeting was softly seethed, but teatering just as much as his eyes.

The speck of blue fluttered towards an empty dead window void of light and life inside. Shivering she sat on the dry window sill leaning against the chilled glass. Alena decided to make a pit stop. The weight of the rain had been straining her wings to keep her fly. The delicate blue wings flapped wiggling the water off as her small hands busied wringing water out of it. It began to shrink away in curls as her hair waved off her faces like rays on the sun.
With a groan, she curled in a sitting fetual position before burying her head in her knees as she sighed releasing her warm exhale for heat. With a few heavy exhales, she didn't feel as cold as before; a bit satisfied, her chin rested on her arms as mocha eyes stared at the blurring rain. Her eyes narrowed once feeling the same stirring irritation, the need to sneeze. With a groan, she rubbed her nose before letting it rip.
"Just a few more minutes," the fairy told herself deciding that traveling in a hume size would be more efficent as the key to growth dandled from her neck, a necklace. Wet toes curled and wiggled to bring the sense of feeling back to them. "Just a few more minutes."
The music carried through the air, and the Nameless Nobody moved quietly through the town. There had been a glow in the air that had caught the Nobody's interest. That small little glow had sputtered out as it flew towards the ground, and the Nobody had wandered behind it, its nonexistent eyes searching for the now-flickering source of Light.
As he drew near, he saw three figures: A miniscule being, a sitting human, and a standing human. The storm around him made it almost impossible to focus on them all. He saw the fairy stop and crept silently forward.
It took a minute to get to the fairy, and in that time, the humans made contact. He sat about two feet away, still listening to the music that flowed through the air. The fairy shivered and attempted to free itself of water... It was cold? The Nobody didn't feel cold. Yet he understood what it was from Shift Sonata. Amadeus wondered if this creature would die. Would a Heartless be born?
Heartless. Hated creatures. Like that fiery one...
A strong melody rang through the air, harmonizing with the music box, and a Reflect spell unleashed itself around the fairy. The water was immediately thrown at least six inches away as the ethereal glass surrounded her. The Nobody sat down and watched te creature with interest. It wondered what she would do... Creatures had a habit of attacking Nobodies.
Cyrus raised a brow at the man's odd voice, but smiled anyways. "That's a nice music box; where'd you get it from?" He asked, waving back, though still cautious. He suddenly shivered, and his head jerked to the side reflexively. His eyes saw only the pitch darkness of the streets, but the uneasiness he felt in the pit of his stomach made him weary.
His head moved towards his polearm subtly, a fierce gleam in his eye. Heartless? He leaned casually against the wall, hoping to keep his back protected. Even while he prepped himself for a fight, Cyrus felt himself lose adrenaline as the soothing waves of music washed over him. He shut his eyes again, for all the good they did him, and listened to the sounds around him.
Responding to Cyrus' sudden choice of action, the gaunt Humanoid stood, tilting his head to the side. A few locks of silver slid off of his face, pulled to the side by gravity. Ever so gently his brows furrowed, an edge of curiosity tapping at his expression.
The person he was watching exhibited obvious signs of dismay; the normal reaction to nearby Heartless... But Heartless? Impossible. He would've felt them long before they surfaced.
So then, what else was here?
Reliquim held the ink-colored kitten close to his chest, idly stroking its head as their current scene unfolded.

Scooting closer towards the window sill she sat on, Alena attempted to evade the falling water droplets as it placed against the cement onto her. Small fingers brushed away the drops off of her before it could soak her clothes. Her hair puffed over in rippling curls around her head as she manuevered closer to the chilling glass.
"It truly sucks being a fairy a times, and this is one of those mom-," soft little tinks of impact made her ears wiggle with interest. Looking up she could see water droplets bounce off...something. Her brown eyes widened once seeing the rain spark and dimmed away as it slid down a spherrical guard...a glass.
Out of curiosity, she fluttered north to touch it feeling its hardness. Like a curious bee, she fluttered scouting out the glass limits. Her small knuckles caused a sound as she lightly knocked on it. "Wow."
White did stood out a bit in the dark, even if it did take on a fair tint of the shadows about the world. This thing was peculiar, and she had no idea what it was. It was as pale and white like a nobody, but she never seen one look like it. Perhaps it was something else...more inhuman.
The Nobody put the flute down and dropped to its stomach, its blank face at ground level. The creature seemed completely at peace with the torrent that covered its body, and its antenna twitched as it examined the creature inside of the glass.
A little light.
The Nameless Nobody/Amadeus examined the fairy with interest. The creature was a being of Light? It wondered what the female's purpose was. Was it like the moon? Or maybe the sun... The Nobody played the song that echoed in the rain as it watched the creature. It lifted the ethereal glass up to allow the small thing to speak. Unfortunately, the Nobody had no mouth. It could not join the creature in conversation.
Cyrus squinted into the night, but decided that it must have just been paranoia, for it seemed that nothing was there. "Odd. I could have sworn there was something there," he said, puzzled, before shaking his head in confusion. "Oh well, guess I was wrong."
He watched the person next to him stroke something, and noticed the small cat. "Hmm? A cat? Is it yours?" He asked, plopping down next to the man and examining the small kitten. It's probably a stray though; why else would it be out in the rain?
The small puff of fur purred, wiggling out of its pale, fleshy confinements, tumbling to the ground. It shook off the stun of gravity versus pavement, now taking on the appearance of a black cotton ball fresh from the dryer. The miniature beast seemed pleasantly unaware of such a fact, and it trotted curiously up to the other nearby Human, large green eyes staring upward.
The gaze of the lithe Emberfox followed this little creature. It was a curious little thing, obviously happy just to be, despite the looming storm. He felt a strange, uncharacteristic affection for it. Why? He couldn't really put a finger on it. "Why... Yes." Truthfully, the kitten was a stray that had wandered up to him without warning. How it had ever survived this long was a mystery.
For reasons beyond him, he decided to keep the little feline just now. I mean honestly, how was he going to feed it? It wasn't exactly like he had any munny...
Oh well. Such reasoning would have to be settled on at a later time. For now, there was something else probing at the back of his mind. The underlying tingle on the back of his neck whispered that something else was still afoot here, shrouded in Darkness. However, Reliquim was too lazy to seek it out.
