In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Jadis had already gave the Drago directions how to get here and wanted this location to be heavily secluded. Why? The last spot she thought was sacred for her and Mikael to train in became flooded with enough purpose-less individuals that it made her head spinned.
The Zero District was the most secluded and hardly visited, while containing some junk that survived other worlds that was dumped in the worlds' dump site.
Sitting at a fountain, the Ice witch began to hum lowly waiting patiently, and as usual she had brought a cool draft within the district, but it didn't bother her any. What did bothered her was the inactive people here. One girl turned away from aiding the worlds for the sake of something so wishy washy, fragile, like love. To top it of, she was young for her age, an age that was quite vunerable to love to the point one could get easily poisoned.
How many more people were poisoned with probable things like love that have tendency of not being definite 100% , which somehow out weigh the values of life? Luckily her pupil Drago wasn't fixiated on such concepts that came and went, but concrete importances.

Drago read quietly the directions on a card before looking around to make sure the description was accurate. She'd never been to the Zero District before, andshe could probably tell why. There was a junk site here that Drago could scent the rusty metal at.
Drago breathed through her mouth in order not to smell the terrible smells. She made her way, following the directions to Jadis's location. Drago found her sitting at a fountain. Drago straightened her sword and approached Jadis.
"G-Greetings," she spoke to Jadis. Drago didn't know why, but for some reason it felt a little awkward to be meeting Jadis here, but her mind was set on learning from her.

(sorry for the wait)
Looking up Jadis nodded in a greeting before rising, she wore a long black dress that looked to have raven feather's framing the neck line causing a flair. Her pale blonde hair was bound up in a high braided ponytail, which swayed as she stood.
"Good Evening Drago. As you can see this is District Zero, one of the least visited district, since it can be hard to find. As the least visited we won't be interrupted as much if we were in any other. Here you will learn how to control your Darkness."
"As you know Darkness is an element, and it's compliment is Light. They both balance each other proving that neither are good or evil, but nuetral elements of balance. As for you, you're manipulating one, which can form an inbalance within you. If you don't control Darkness properly it can feed and grow from your emotions and further the in-balance. That's why we get Heartless dear, a heavy in-balance of darkness whether it was willingly welcomed or not."
Opening her palm, she summoned darkness, a black and purple hued mist. It swirled before constructing in a ball. "The key to control Darkness is self-control. Since Darkness and Light are elements of within, they can grow and shrink depending on you. Loosing your self-control can make either one go haywire, which causes in-balance. Before you learn the various spells relating to darkness, you will summon it."
A single raven soared throught the night sky of Traverse Town. It's black feathers and body making it hardly noticable against the starlit sky. The air gliding over and under it's wing. Creating lift with a few simply flaps. Gliding on the currents of air all purely by instinct. It's scavenging eyes scanned the ground that passed underneath him. Untill it saw something shiny.
Descending down an ally, it speared in between the tall buildings at high speed. Getting close to the source of the shimmering. But as the raven got close, it noticed how the reflecting silvery platemail was moving forward. And was much bigger then it originally thought. Quickly it changed the angle of it's dive towards an upward motion. Flapping his wings to rise up again.
The raven flew passed Sir Lucas his head as nothing more then a fast moving shadow. It was only when it had distanced itself far enough that the Wolf Knight could see it was only a harmless bird. His hand that was placed on the handle of his longsword relaxed and slided off. Halting the lone knight looked around in the empty alley. Only silence was his compangion. Turning his head, he reconsidered going back. But even that won't do a man good if he's lost.
With a weary sigh, Sir Lucas moved on. Through the unknown labyrinth of Traverse Town. Surely residents would know the way. But for him it was still his first visit. Aimlessly the knight wandered, looking for anything that he recognised. Looking for a single soul to help him. But he found none. The knight passed rows and rows of houses that were all empty. The doors and windows were all nailed down with timber. Other buildings were long abbandonned, with broken windows and forced doors. And coated in a thick layer of dust as the only inhabitant. Street after street he found the same scenery. A depressing liveless quarter that once held many civilians. But they were all gone now for reasons only the Lunar Goddess would know.
For a town this big, it was surely eerie to see it so empty. Traverse Town did always seem to resemble more of a ghost town then a living one. with the sole exception of the First District. But now, not even Heartless were lurking in the shadows. Giving Sir Lucas a feeling of desolation. As he carried forth, doubt and uncertainty was nibbling at his sane mind. Raising his head back, he gazed at the moon that was in the sky and started to pray. "Lunar Goddess, please assist me. For I am lost and do not know the way. Your servant begs of thee. Please guide me forth. So that I can continue on my yourney and on my task. I merely wish to accomplish thy will, wich is the halt of the foul Heartless."
His prayer was answered with quietniss. The Lunar Goddess would not simply intervene divinly when requested. Lucas knew this all to well. But believing in the Lunar Goddess kept him hopefull. For he was convinced she was listening. Then his attention was beeing draw at something that he noticed on his left side. Turning to see, he now gazed upon a massive wall. The wall was much higher then any of the buildings here. And seemed to be very strong and thick, build by blocks much larger then normal bricks. Sir Lucas wondered why the people would build such a majestieus wall here. Was there something important at the other side? Or is this the towns border from the rest of the world.
But the wall wasn't completely closed. For it seemed there was a door. Or at least a pathway. A very narrow gap could be seen. Like a giant sword had cutted down from the top till the bottom. The passageway was only big enough to let through a single cart. Driven by curiosity, Sir Lucas stepped closer. And entered the passageway. The small corridor stretched out for several meters. If this was how thick the walls really are, then no force would ever be able to penetrate them. Treadding forth, the Wolf Knight felt like walking through a very deep and narrow chasm, covered in deep shadow. And the light at the end, was growing more brilliant and blinding as he got closer.
Making it to the end, the light completely blinded the knight to the point that he needed to shield his eyes untill they were adjusted. After only a handfull of moments, the buildings and architecture of the Zero District could be seen. Baffled by it's brilliancy and serenity, the knight gazed in awe. Venturing forth into this district that was so far unbeknownst to him, Sir Lucas couldn't comprehend how untouched and sheltered this area has been. No signs of decay or abbandonment could be seen here.
Coming out of the first row of houses. Sir Lucas found himself at the beginning of a open area. With a beautifull fountain as centerpiece. His sight caught two woman standing there. Talking to each other. One was a tall gracious woman in a ravenblack dress that stood in strong contrast with her snowwhite skin. On her head was paleblond hair, tied up in a distinguished ponytail. The other was a young tall woman. With black hair, a navy blue jacket and jeans underneath.
The Wolf Knight surely didn't mean to stare, but caught himself in doing so. Before he could continue his train of thought. He witnessed how then Jadis summoned an black orb into her hand. Causing Sir Lucas to be stunned at the mere sight. His mind was thinking: 'By the Lunar Goddess, what is this ordeal that I have stumbled upon. Am I perhaps... ment to be here?' Sir Lucas questioned if perhaps this was the Lunar Goddess her answer to his prayer. Not beeing able what to decide to do. He remained standing there, looking at the two women. Trying to understand what was transpiring. Eventhough it was futile.

((I is sorry for uber long wait.... oh and IUMA, did you PM Ellie or I to join this thread?))
"Zero District, huh? The name suits it," Drago remarked, looking about the district's quiet and empty atmosphere; the perfect atmosphere for lessons. Drago was fully aware of how she was able to learn. Place Drago with directions on how to learn a skill in a quiet and isolated environment, and sooner or later, she'll learn the skill. Although, Drago was well aware of being able to control powers of darkness more than light, yet she will probably have to learn to balance.
Drago listened intently to Jadis's monologue, nodding every now and then to show that she was paying full attention. Eventually, Jadis spoke exactly what was on Drago's mind, the balance of light and darkness. "So, when darkness is imbalanced with light, resulting in darkness strengthening, will the ultimate result be that darkness takes over ones heart, and in turn transform them into a Heartless?" Drago asked, although she had a feeling that she already knew the answer.
Drago watched as Jadis opened her palm; an orb of darkness appearing and swirling about. Drago did the same, and attempted to summon the actual darkness in her heart, which seemed entirely different from summon the normal darkness she used to attack. The darkness that Drago used for normal attack came from the environment, from the darkness of shadows, etc. Drago found it much harder to summon darkness from within her. She closed her eyes and envisioned the new darkness in her heart, and attempted to channel it into her palm. Eventually, Drago was able to summon an orb of darkness, which seemed less concentrated than the orb upon Jadis' hand.

"That is in fact more than likely. Many claim to be able to control darkness even when there's a massive inbalance. Those are generally obnoxiously fooled by their strength thinking that the natural law skips them. You must not be one of them unless you want darkness to captivate your heart completely when it's too late. Even the strongest of hearts had been grasped by darkness and been wiggled down to the weakest of heartless."
The darkness she had summoned funneled in a little tornado and various shapes before slowly expanding it.
"So lesson one is control. With control, you would be able to keep a hold to your humanity. With humanity, you won't be a heartless living its primitive life of survival and growth and further encouraging inbalance with their very nature. With humanity, you can help restore the balance, restore world order."
The black orb of darkness expanded before resembling a dome as it presses harshly against the ground.
"Controling how to manifest your darkness, can help perform diverse magic of the element of darkness. What you just saw was gravity, also know as the spell gravity. And is there something you want, or you're just hear to stare?"
The question was towards the uninvited company, a knight in the back.
(ooc: If I hadn't PM'd Eleaus then I wouldn't be posting here)
The Wolf Knight was startled as the blond haired woman clearly adressed him. The took a step back and briefly turned away his gaze. Feeling caught, ashamed even. The stability and authority that the paleskinned woman eminated was overwhelming to him. Hesitating for a moment he then looked back at her and the black haired woman. It was true he had been staring, but that was to beeing overwhelmed by the experience then anything else. Eventhough the baron's son knew it was no excuse for his behaviour. Still the demonstrations of the abilities of darkness in front of him kept him on edge.
Swallowing he stepped forward towards the two women at the fountain. His platemail armor chimed softly with every step. As he came out into the full fiew and light of the area in front of the fountain. The moonlight shimmering off from his silver harness. As clouds, that covered the celestial orb it's ray's, passed on by the wind and sended a directed beam down on the Zero District and the faithfull ironcladded warrior. The royal symbols etched into the metal visible now. The signs of the moon and the wolf were now recognisable to both of them. His eyes, hidden behind the visor of his wolf head shaped helmet, switched between the two women. The black haired one didn't seem to have noticed him before the other one spoke out.
Stopping at several meters away from them, to not seem imposing. And also because he wasn't sure if he could trust getting closer, the Wolf Knight halted. Placing his hand flat on his stomach he made a light and polite bow according to protocol rules. But kept his eyes on them. Still doubting wether they would be friendly or hostile. And then spoke loud and clearly with a grim and cold tone: "I deeply apologise, milady, for my intrusion. I did not ment to disturb thou. But my body did no longer seem to be my own when my vision had fallen upon thee. "
The knight paused for a moment, as he kept his head slightly lowered. Showing his subordination to her since he suspected her of beeing of high standing. He had just witnessed her performing a spell of a kind that the knight had never encountered before. Generating a cause to remain on alert for sudden movements. But also sparking his curiousity even more. Taking a breath he then he continued to speak to her: "My name is Sir Lucas Lunaris the VII of Nordenfrosd. And I humbly request to know thy name, milady. For thou are clearly a powerfull magician that wields the force of darkness. And yet speaks of things as humanity, balance and restoring world order."
Sir Lucas removed his hand from his breastplate and took a neutral but formal stance towards the two women. Eventhough he did not seemed to have the intention to fight, he was on his guard. It was hard to remain calm after the display of her magical power over darkness. Remaining silent he awaited their response.

((Oops, sorry IUMA, i'm just being overly jumpy ))
"It's harder than it sounds," Drago remarked quietly, attempting to increase the magnitude of the darkness floating on her palm. The dark orb flinched a bit before vanishing entirely. Drago heaved a sigh of disappointment.
"Aw. Even more reason to practice my control," she commented. Drago opened her palm once more as she summoned a small orb of darkness. "I've probably got to maintain it in my hand before changing it's shape.." With that, she closed her eyes and focused on nothing else but the dark element in her hand.
Her focus was broken on Jadis's question at an 'uninvited presence' nearby. Drago's eyes flew open as she looked around for any presence. Her eyes rested upon a man; a knight, it seems. He was wearing chainmail armor, and Drago was unsure of his intentions. She decided that it would be better to stay quiet. Drago listened as the knight spoke to Jadis. The way he spoke sounded roughly Old English to her. Drago let the dark orb in her hand die down as she watched the knight with curious eyes.

(=o jadis is blonde aand pointed sir wolfy out...<< >>'')
The wolf emblem gave her nostalgia of her beloved Maulgrim. He was the only company out of years that could read her well even in turmoil scenarios and never rubbed her the wrong way knowing her cold temper. She watched him, while blinking slowly instantly picking up his thick accent and memorized formalities.
"It's Jadis, Lady Jadis, if you will. I doubt the term magician will do my blood well, but I will accept it as a mere compliment." She recollected her darkness in a ball, and instructed Drago to call on her darkness again and practice morphing its physical form as basics. "So what's your story, Sir Lucas? Everyone have one. There's the typical...world on a heartless' platter for their next dine before creating a bigger heartless or using the world's heart for more power."
She looked back at him before humming thinking she hit the nail. He wouldn't be so flabbergasted of one wielding darkness so effortlessly if it didn't pose such a threat to him.
(ooc: sorry, confused the two of you in hair color)
Sir Lucas righted his head a bit and a small gasp escaped his lips as he seemed to be a little startled at Jadis her comment. Her words were frightening accurate to his situation. It took him a couple of moments to regain his composture.
With a grim and slightly hatefull tone Sir Lucas spoke to Jadis. The topic was near to his heart and emotionall. It became difficult to hold his strict formal manners. As humanity started to shine through. The severness and seriousness could be heard in his voice: "Milady, my world lays currently under merciless siege by the Heartless. They are marching upon it's heart as we speak. Their numbers growing with each heart they claim. Consuming the last rays of hope and light that still holds my world dear. Should they reach it before I return, then my world and all that live upon it shall be no more..."
Sir Lucas his gaze had drifted away from Jadis as memories were distracting him. The more he spoke the more he started looking into nothing. Looking at his past. A sincere hatred for the evil that was washing over his homelands was deeply anchored into the noble knight. Still, by his helmet this was difficult to notice.
With a softer tone he continued coldly, although a strong determination could be made up in his voice: "I'm here to seek the wielder of the Keyblade. To prevent this from happening. To mine and other worlds. And untill I have found him, I shall do what ever lies in my power to hold the darkness at bay. Preventing them to claim more hearts. Even if it would cost me my life and soul."
The Wolf Knight spoke no more after this. As he stood tall and righteous against Jadis and Drago. Having found more confidence in the words he just uttered. And his suspicion and uneasiness were withering away.

Drago obeyed Jadis and continued on focusing her darkness into different shapes. Drago outstretched her hand and summoned a small orb of darkness. Drago had a sudden urge to transform it into a triangle. She could feel the orb twitching and warping on her palm, but when she opened her eyes, the orb shaped into some kind of square. "A...At least I changed it," Drago murmured.
She kept shifting the shape of the darkness, yet she was only changing it into simple shapes. She opened one eye to focus on what Jadis was discussing with 'Sir Lucas'.
The darkness in her palm fizzled out while her attention was elsewhere. Drago let out a groan of disappointment. She opened her palm again and summoned another orb. This one was slightly more dense than the last one.

"If that the case, join the club and get in line, since there are many others following similar routes as you...dying world at the brink of destruction, while patiently searching for one who can push it way. Since you aren't the first and obviously won't be the last, I assume you can see the success of such searches. Lets' hope there will be some light in the near future...after all it would be a harder burden to have to slay what you wish to protect."
Jadis' eyes drifted over to Drago humming lowly, "That one is much better keep it as firm and contained as possible, since such form is needed for the first dark spell for today."
"If you're looking for the key here, then I shall inform you that you're in the wrong place. If such key was here, then this world wouldn't be in danger either. Then again, there was another boy with a key, but...with bad influences I doubt he would be much of help, and who knows what may have become of him."
Hearing the demotivational speech of Lady Jadis, it struck the Wolf Knight with the grim facts of reality. Yes, he had been searching effortlessly for the keyblade and it's wielder. Even Queen Minnie, who was the spouse of the keyblade wielding King Mickey. Didn't know about his whereabouts.
Still the memories of those back home that were in danger and in dire need of the succes of his quest fueled him with resolve. Righting his head, Sir Lucas tighend his fist. The leather inside his gauntlet was stretching and the metal surface scraped softly. As he said with determend but cold voice: "I shall be succesfull. By the Lunar Goddess, I shall find the keyblade and saveguard my homeworld and many others."
Sir Lucas then also glanced at Drago and her progress in maintaining the darkness in her hand. Feeling uneasy by the display of said element. Seeing how the black haired woman was concentrating to maintain the form of a square. While keeping his sight towards Drago he asked: "Lady Jadis, if you pardon me, I must know. Why do thou train this young woman in using the darkness? Darkness is the enemies weapon. Surely this path can only lead to succumbing into the abyss. No matter the grade of control, using it will continiously eat at the heart untill it is no more."
During his travels, Sir Lucas had met people and other creatures. All with amazing powers. Power over the elements and even light and darkness. While he had none of such abilities. Only his training and weapons at hand. But against the foes he had encountered so far, it seemed that it wouldn't be enough to hold his own.
Post by zerodragonblade on Apr 19, 2010 17:55:55 GMT -4
The orb blinked out as Drago uttered a groan of frustration. She turned to Sir Lucas and spoke, "Excuse me, but can you not stare? I'm trying to concentrate." Drago opened her palm once more and drew out an orb of darkness.
The darkness appeared with similare density and form as before. Drago changed its shape into a cone. The pointed tip of the cone reminded Drago of the tip of the sword. 'Perhaps I can create emergency weapons from these,' Drago thought.
Drago attempted to shape the cone of darkness into a sword. Drago formed the handle, and began to extend the blade, yet it stopped short. The blade was only dagger-length. Fiddlesticks.

Jadis chuckled at the hope in him. The world needed some more driven individuals. She too summoned a black sphere of darkness, "Darkness can indeed devour ones heart, but it takes strength to resist it and gain control of it. As an old sage, I can aid her with controlling the darkness and if it tries to push itself further lightly aid her to push it back."
"Darkness isn't a tool. It's a part of all of us, well some of us. If we can't find self-control within ourselves, how should we expect anyone to push back the darkness at hand? Of-course you have those with that responsibility like our dearest keyblade wielders, but as you see they are cursed in a way. Heartless fears it, so more are attracted to it, so it isn't too surprising that not many our present. Darkness and those nobodies are picking them off either to rid of them or enslave them."
She spoke from experience of watching. She had encountered a keyblade wielder, Rook. Besides being the knight of the worlds, he became the pawn of Marluxia. What have become of him is a mystery? Perhaps his heart became to weak to keep the blade and resist the nobody. With the worlds' hope being so flexible to be twisted, no one can blame others taking the initiative.
"Why do you think people are following the same paths as you? Some are tired of waiting and sitting around watching chaos shower around them. This is why I am a teacher to strengthen them on the rough course ahead for I know it will be a harsh one."
