In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

After having a fateful encounter in the third district, the freaking badass and awesome mad scientist Saga returned to the first district along her new partner at crime, one sexy bunny of the viera species named Coffee.
"My house is over there, my honeycup. I call it the fortress of ultimate SCIENCE!, and maybe it could also become a love shack for bunnies <3"
With cocoa bunny at hand, she walked the little distance separating them from the door of her fortress of ultimate SCIENCE!. It was an old fashioned brown wooden door with one or two small cracks, time wasn't nice with the wooden components and it was slightly deteriorated. However, that simple protection was enough for the scientist and she favored the acquisition of laboratory goods on the repairing of the old door.
A quick door unlocking later, they were already inside the house, other than the almost disturbing obsession with bunny maid decoration in the curtains, tablecloth and even in the paintings, it was a normal house with a small living room consisting of a table surrounded by three sofas with a TV next to them, a kitchen with common kitchen equipment and lots of maid related articles, a small bathroom with a single toilet, a wash basin and a shower, a guest's room with four beds and lots of bunny maid themed decoration and at last, Saga's bedroom, containing a rather large sized bed and many bunny maid plushes which usually were silent sleep companions of the scientist. Somewhere near Saga's room there also was a trapdoor normally concealed below a bunny maid themed carpet which served as access to the basement where her laboratory was located.
"Honey, feel yourself at home here, I'll go to my lab to drop my little white monsters. Or if you want, follow me"
She landed a quick kiss on the chocolate flavored lips of Coffee and immediately proceeded to go to her lab.

(D: I didn't know you maaaaade ooone >3 shall post neways!)
She have quite the festish, she, Coffee, was used to the stares at her ears and fasique, even some look down to see the dangerously high heels she wore until their focus drifted to her inhuman long feet. The term 'freek' wasn't tossed so freely with a foot in the mouth, nor does she stick around with distasteful company. Sure she had a handful of fans here and there, who were all left behind, but none ever held a forstress of interest like this. A brow quirk at the intense fetish, while two claws acted like tweasers lifting up french maid asthestics on the table cloth.
"It seems you already made filled with...bunnies," the viera scanned the house about seeing it relatively normal despite the common theme that danced around so vivid and blantly. She wondered if there was a place lacking a bunny maid's presence, while her eyes drifted to the end of the scientist's little dress before snickering. Her attention was drawn to her voice with a casual turn of her ear.
So she does have a lab...Creme would like that...maybe they would get along too well... With a peck on the lips the viera watched Saga head towards her room and followed behind. Might as well get acquainted where all the work would end up, well some of the work.
Followed by the viera, Saga descended through the now exposed stairs until reach her basement laboratory, which unlike the upper floor, lacked of any bunny decoration and instead presented a very predominant silver and white coloring due the many tables, chairs and laboratory equipment being made either of clean silver, surgical steel or being painted with white paint and the notebooks present on the tables were of plain white. And the only thing contrasting this color scheme were a container covered by an orange blanket and a few flasks containing fluids like blood samples, heartless black matter and some chemicals.
"There you go, little monster"
She unceremoniously tossed the monster inside a small cage which was near other cages and other kind of restraining devices. Some of them contained heartless of common types found in Traverse Town like shadows and soldiers. Between the cages section and the section with tables lied a few experimentation devices like one steel medical bed connected to a electricity producing mechanism that usually was used to check the pain tolerance of the heartless but currently was unused.
"My cocoa bunny, this is my workplace where I work my magic. As you see all my test subjects are just generic heartless found around the area, that's why to further my selection of guinea pigs I need to visit other worlds infected by the heartless and nobody plague"
With the vermin now unable to escape, she focused her attention on the mocha beauty in front of her, looking at her with lustful eyes and showing a devilish smile. If she could eat with the eyes, she would've devoured the entire bunny already.
"Now, shall we get ourselves comfortable in the upper room and wait for your friend or you have something else in mind? Personally I would love to "experiment" with you in a place more private <3"
She couldn't help but admire the body of the viera, it was the perfect combination of human-like body structure and bunny traits, and that's without having into account those powerful pheromones emanating from the object of desire, they would entice anything that could feel any attraction for the bunny girl and in the case of somebody who loved bunny girls it was a devastating weapon.

She wondered why the scientist was a bit secretive hiding the entry of her lab by a rug in her room. Or was she simply the type to get heavily engrossed with her work that she can practically live in it or want to be close by. Coffee can already image a hypothetical situation of the bunny lover crawling out of her lab heavily impacted by fatigue, but had enough strength to drag herself to bed for final rest. Creme could be the same way with her addiction and extra care to her spacecraft. The viera for a moment wondered why she's attracted to those who go to the extreme.
Talking about extreme, this seriously was a lab to its extent, which would seem out of place for the quite meek and simple world of Traverse Town. The cat was let out the bag with all the equipment. Although she hardly knew Saga, they all had to be the real deal, but still she couldn't help, but tap her claw against it to hear it for herself. Everything was so bland and plain, but the viera supposed that a serious workplace cannot have too many distractions. There wasn't a bunny in sight unless Coffee counted.
Instead of her fetish of rodents, there was a display of her fetish in her work with series of caged heartless. Leaning on the medical bed, Coffee craned her head to peer down at them. They were the general weakings found on Ivalice and everywhere to be exact. To Saga, they weren't pests, but objects. What objective or purpose they had? Generally Coffee don't ask for details when work was involved. She just get the message, exacute, and delivers.
Despite their major role in Saga's play, Coffee hardly felt any sympathy for them. Feeling eyes on her, the viera slowly looked up to a hard gaze of molten rubies with a sly grin. Humming lowly, she approached the scientist allowing her claws to rake up her neck before grabbing a soft hold of her chin. "Mmm Creme will find me eventually, but I'm more curious in what you would 'experiment'."
Her free hand cascaded agaisnt the other hips to casually wrap around her, "Experiment means curiosity. So which curiosity should I sate first."
"The usual question questions," her thumb traced Saga's lips remembering exactly what they taste like, "or something far more interactive?"
Her mind craved for more knowledge about this interesting humanoid creature, her species and about other worlds while her body craved for a more physical contact with the she-bunny, eager for tasting and examining every place of the viera's body. Being the bunny extremely bold and daring, she was almost sure she wouldn't deny her appetite for bunny meat.
"You already tasted part of me, don't you want to have the full course? Skinship is a very important part of the bonding between living beings"
She returned the viera's favor by also putting her arm around the bunny's hips after slightly groping her rear and so she went along her love doll to the upper floor.
"Now my dear bunny, do you want dinner? Do you want to take a bath? Or do you want…me?"
A classic housewife phrase from her homeworld, she used to say those things to her EX-boyfriend when he returned from work to please him and now she was doing it for her viera. Maybe she wanted to have a small aperitif in the kitchen before having the sexier main course with the bunny lover.

The viera had to surpress a low rumbling groan at the sweet words that were as delectable as her caramel candies. Her eyes glued onto her as Saga walked passed her up the stairs to return back to her room. Mocha hands remained resting on her hips as she followed closely behind. The claws twitched daring themselves to not tatter and rip any fabric to shreds. At least she can keep compulsure.
"Mmm," the viera gripped the scientist to lift her up again as she had done before, which would allow her to wrap her legs for security around the viera. No matter how Saga would wiggle comfortably in this stance, Coffee was occupied having her lips ghostly cascaded up her neck.
"I can go for dinner, and you can easily be my main course, and I can eat anywhere," she nipped the soft skin of her neck eager to leave bruised marking all over it. "Yet I must be considerate of my hostess. As a guest, I should comply with your rulings since you want to be sated by your interrogations, while I...."
Her tongue lapped up her neck before nipping her jaw. The viera walked until she can feel her leg collide in Saga's bed before pinning the other to the comforter. A claw twirled her silver hair casually as the viera stared down from above. "I think I found a good game. You talk; I taste and when you stop talking; I stop, and vice versa."
"Honey, you sure love to be on top, and I don't mind it at all <3"
Saga wrapped her legs and arms around Coffee's sexy body and pulled her into falling on her. Now with her face dangerously close to the viera's, she could smell the bunny's sweet breath and sense the heartbeat of her chest which had an hypnotizing rhythm.
She silently looked at Coffee's eyes as if in trance, her breathing becoming a bit more accelerated and heavy due the tension between them, and then proceeded to move her mouth next to the bunny's long and furry ears, nibbling them vigorously for a while before whispering something
"Tell me about what you like, what you don't like, and ..."
She paused a little as one of her hands reached the bunny's rear and caressed the soft chocolate colored skin of the left butt cheek, having already slipped under the underwear of mocha bunny and engaging direct skin to skin contact.

( we gotta play niiice *yanks Coffee on a leash* =o we have limitations)
"It's far more easier to assess any situation when looking from above," her claws raked against Saga's legs measure the muscles in them. They were firm and felt soft to the touch as the same claws began to tap against them playing a muted melody. The grip on them tightened once her ear became a captive.
Many always wanted to touch those cursed things, the bunny ears. They were naturally fuzzy, soft, but stiffy erect. Despite how tall they stand, they can't help, but to twitch, especially the nibbled ear that can feel every puff of exhale tickling the hairs in her ear. Although she had sharp hearing and senses, it was difficult to pay attention to every word spoken to here as the ear twitched with the air that impacted it.
She's bold, dangerous bold...unforgiving boldness
"Mmm I like a good challenge; it keeps everything fresh and unexpected, but I do like to have a good idea of what I get into before diving in," her claws began to draw swirls of lines along the scientist thighs, but not nonchalantly to break the flesh causing minor wounds.
"What I don't," a heel was kicked off with a low thump at her clawed toes on the other foot was able to wiggle down the straps,"like are the weak willed, but I don't see any pathetic qualities before me now. Am I right?"
With a nip on her lip, the viera asked a rhetorical question, "I know that for sure, because the weak can hardly get me excited like I am nooow. And what about you Cookie love?"
Her hands gripped the back of thighs before cupping her rear for a typical grope, "It would highly surprise me that one like you don't have opinions...or preferences.."
"Hmm ... you are quite the interesting person, I like both your body and your mind. "
Saga was very aware that until now the attraction she felt for cocoa bunny was purely physical and chemical, strengthened by her obsession for bunny girls. But now, she was also feeling attracted to the viera's mind for the ideals she held were in some points similar to her own.
"It might be already obvious, but what I love the most are bunny maid girls, I find them to be the epitome of beauty"
She continued starting at the viera's deep brown eyes, they reflected a lot of confidence and told tales of countless adventures, not the eyes of a simple amateur but of one who lived to the edge and had many experiences.
"Leaving aside my love for bunnies, I like to find usefulness, beauty, honesty, sincerity, strong willpower, intelligence and curiosity in the people I met, and you fit perfectly my ideal of an interesting person. And the most important part for me is willpower, because many people with untapped potential put it to waste for being unable to pursue their goals or simply were too closed minded to accept new possibilities"
Having felt enough bunny rear, she retired her hand from the soft area and embraced her viera. She had to prepare mentally to answer the next part of Coffee's question for it wasn't a talking subject she liked to remember, afterall it was deeply related with the turning point of her life when she abandoned the innocence and purity she once had.
With a no longer playful and instead a more serious expression in her face, she looked again at the viera's deep eyes.
"As for what I don't like, I find betrayal to be the worst. It might surprise you and maybe you aren't interested in this, but I once was a cheerful and lovestruck girl, ready to dedicate my entire life to the man with whom I pretended to marry with. Alas, he broke all my hopes, dreams and destroyed my past self the moment he betrayed my faithful devotion for him and abandoned me in the altar the very day of our wedding!"
Usually nothing could make her lose her cool, not even the most obnoxious people, but that memory of the past and any situation related with betrayal irked her like nothing else can.
"The timid, always helpful, cheerful and trustful me died that day, the public humiliation and feeling of overwhelming loneness were too much for my frail mind and for many years I closed my heart to love, rejecting even my own family and friends, only living to become somebody so important and successful than "that" man would regret abandoning me. I was even ready to abandon my career as a promising medicine and genetics researcher to become a full time housewife for him."
She paused a little to take some air and continued, losing the seriousness and recovering her usual half-indifferent, half-sexy expression.
"Excuse me for telling you a long and boring story, but that's the main reason why I cannot tolerate at all betrayal, not only it hurts but also greatly reduces the performance of the working team, but enough of me and my uninteresting story, how about you? I know that my honey bunny ha a lot more interesting stories to share"
After having told Coffee about the most painful experience of her life, which might be considered a silly reason to completely change into a complete person for some people, she wasn't really in the mood for hot games and simply held Coffee's hands with her own. She showed weakness, spoiled the mood, and felt that simple, innocent hand contact was the best to keep themselves connected and have a more serious chat.

Her ear twitched as she felt the entire demeanor changed instantly as playfullness was shot down with a machine gun as the toying hands moved up to wrap around her. Her ears continued to twitch as if they could hear the change in the air itself as if expecting to hear a change in Saga's tone. Brows furrowed softly as her eyes started to decode her facial expression; it was for more easier to decipher from above versus if she had her back towards her.
With the locked gaze and hardness in the ruby eyes, Coffee wondered what she had gotten herself into as if her delicate feet miscalculated and stepped on a land mine that readied to amputate a leg. She had saw this expression before throughout her travels and endeavors; it seemed she had another case of a broken heart below her. Generally with the tone she held and especially the yell at the end, the rabbit ears would've flattened like any typical animal that felt it was being scorned at. With experience in these moments, her ears remained perk, while watching Saga in an expressionless face.
It was Saga turn to erupt and blow of pent up emotions, and Coffee wasn't about to make faces at that. She had learned before that, that usually made matters worse, and a woman's scorn isn't the nicest thing in the worlds. Nor do women like feeling heavily exposed without some sort of security blanket to cover it all. Saga wasn't any different, since Coffee saw more hurt than anything else in her eyes.
Despite her masquerade of recovery, the viera knew she wasn't finished, or anywhere near finished. It was just a band-aid to cope with it all for the time being. Coffee was surprised she never fully snapped in blind rage, pain, and frustration. It did showed her strength, but the viera was curious how long that wall will stand before collasping.
Already knowing the mood has been massacred, Coffee rolled on her side allowing Saga to take the comfort she needed. "I wonder what's more important. I'm not about to go all psyche indepth since you will know your limits far more better than I, but it's obvious you're not done yet. You still cry in your eyes, but if a distraction is what you want...I have no qualms."
"You are right about one thing, I do have a peculiar set of interesting tales. That's what happens when you have a long life span, but I must admit it doesn't get fun until I wasn't a viera. To make it brief without a long uninteresting cultural lecture, vieras are a tight knit family. Departing from it, you're no longer a viera...in their eyes of-course, but there's more to that then just family bond."
"So life in Ivalice was quite a rollercoster. I think you would like it there, but I have no idea if that world is still standing. I was and still am a bounty hunter. As a starter, I recieved my fair share of scars. Let's say the heartless here doesn't come into comparison of what's naturally in Ivalice. Have you ever seen a wrym before? Well they aren't the nicest things for amateurs. They're quite unforgiving large dragons that can cause a hell of an impact."
"Perhaps if that world is still there you can visit it. Sure the things there have nothing to do with your current research although I have spotted heartless and nobodies rarely, but something new is always fun."
"Such a rigid and strict race, and I had high hopes of finding many bunny girls like you, playful and clever. Why shun such a wonderful woman like cocoa bunny?"
All the time she thought that the viera species had an open minded culture and society given how Coffee showed to live to the extreme all the time, doing as she pleases, but judging by how Coffee spoke about her species, maybe they were the opposite and were rather closed minded.
"Anyway, If the game was so good in your homeworld as you say, my dear bunny must be quite the adventurer to forfeit easy cash at exchange of traveling between worlds which might be non profitable like this one"
If such world of monsters and monster hunters like Coffee still existed, Saga might someday travel there to find the home of the Vieras and "educate" them until they become a more open minded race who would accept vieras like Coffee with no problems.
"And I'm aware that every world has their share of dangerous monsters, in my own there's many that would easily crush even the strongest heartless instantly. My research is mostly about how to destroy the heartless for good not for their potential menace but because they are like cockroaches, for each one you kill there's more of them to replace them and that's quite bothersome. And while it might look like my experiments with heartless are my main focus, it's only secondary compared with my main project"
She placed her right hand on the viera's left cheek and admired her still youthful and full of life face. Beauty was something that lasted so little and it was unavoidable that someday cocoa bunny was going to fail in battle and get her body scarred. Saga wondered if she could also provide eternal beauty and youth to her beloved bunny despite all her special research was done to create superhumans and vieras weren't human, maybe one or two tweaks to the final product might be done in the distant future when said product actually existed and weren't just a theory.
"Honey, what do you think about the possibility of becoming immortal? Would you rather live a normal lifespan or you would become an eternally young scar-free being if you had the possibility?"
An eternity with cocoa bunny sounded great, but she was aware not everybody looked with good eyes eternal life, and she wasn't even sure if her special situation granted her eternal life or simply de-aged her but would still succumb to the side-effects of her mutation. Wondering about the consequences of her research, she waited for bunny's answer.

"Why shun you say? Well to put it short a simple, what you call strict and rigid are traditions. Breaking them gives a free ticket of exhiled, and by all vieras you are a viera no more. I'm not the only one though. There are many who broke free from the...Woods. You can say overall they fear change, not so adaptable."
She picked a claw before flicking the freed dirt away. The viera hummed aggreeing that the heartless was such pests, but she couldn't loathe them too much, since they increased her job oppurtunities, so it seems even the useless can have a fruitful purpose. Unfortunately, Coffee was clueless in how to rid of them. The cockroach anology fit them, but they were more like viruses, since she never seen a cockroach overcome humes, viera, and so on alike.
Blinking, the viera took notice of the carress to her cheek. A brow arched in curiosity as her eyes looked into Saga's for an answer, but it was easier to ask then decipher, "What are you thinking?"
The conversation of immortality wasn't one she was suspecting. Her brows raised at the turn of directions before chuckling, "Well I doubt my lifespan would be considered normal...to humes of-course not. To them I am immortal, since they won't be around when I pass," she hummed lowly, while scratching her hair trying to remember," I stopped keeping track once I hit forty or was it fifty? Regardless, I'm still in my prime and would remain for quite some...decades; also with my active lifestyle, who knows how long would it be until I...kick the bucket."
With a stretch she yawned, "It wouldn't surprise me if I was killed versus dying naturally, but as you can see I've been doing pretty damn good with no scars. I guess some arts of salve making have its perks. To answer you, I never thought of immortality; I guess I never took the time to truly look at how delicate life's duration could be. It doesn't sound bad at all, just living; at least there would be something...new in the future, so you can't miss the old...too much."
Truthfully, she don't have anything to cling on to, to preserve. What's taken from her was long gone. Sure the crack caused by its departure may still be there, but the yearning for it had died years ago, decades. Even so it still left an invisible scar on her to not cling so tightly onto things making her quite aloof.
"Why so curious with matters of life or death, since those are what many call inevitable?"
"So she was older than she looked" Saga thought. She had in mind the possibility of the vieras having a different lifespan and Coffee confirmed her suspicions. Judging by the information available, that a viera in her 50's was easily in their prime, she estimated that the average viera would live approximately somewhere between 160-200 years for they seemed to double or triple a human's lifespan.
"What would you think if I told you that I might have found a way to increase a human's lifespan to almost immortal levels?"
Despite her rather young appearance, Saga was older than she looked for she SCIENCE!'d her way into looking as she does currently and actually lived as much if not more than the mocha bunny. It was during the last two years prior to her arrival to Traverse Town that she experimented with the forbidden, reaching the climax of her research when she used herself as a desperate guinea pig after running out of funds and having to get results immediately. The rest is history
"Immunity against illness, enhanced healing factor, revitalizing and de-aging effects, all that could be possible once I achieve my ultimate goal which would let the living beings of my choice reach perfection"
She closed distance between her mouth and the bunny's ears and whispered
"And for my cocoa's bunny information, I'm 59 years old and perfectly healthy in the right spots, an example of the new human race <3"
Having already recovered the good mood, she embraced her bunny and planted a passionated kiss on Coffee's lips. The bunny had sharp senses fine tuned for hunting and Saga wondered if she already noticed that the scientist was more than just human, the next step in mankind's evolution

"What would I think...you asked. Elaborate on this lesser level of immortality." Her chin rested on her hand once propping her elbow. So this is what she was working for. This was the goal of her tempting employer, ultimate immunity. Now that the subject was being described in depth, Coffee looked over Saga. She wondered what had she studied on to even reach such possibilities.
Hearing the quick details of this lesser immunity success, Coffee cupped Saga's cheek with her spare hand. She clicked her tongue twice as her nose poked the others, "Quite a naughty girl you are. I may have neglected the viera's code with nature, but it sounds like my Cookie here is planning to be the next Prometheus."
Prometheus had given man fire, which mythologically led to the utter chaos of the pros and cons of man's creation. It wasn't to discourage, since everything had a price, and despite how it defied nature in a sense of forming immunities to disregard nature's natural way of balancing life, nature always found a way to squirm right back to take control. Well that's what some say. Nature as for Coffee took everything without a second thought. The protector, the Mother, became the murderer and dethroned everything a typical viera believed in.
"Mmm, but I wonder baby girl, would you be able to handle all of that," the hand that cupped her face trailed down her side to wrap around the curve of her waste to decrease the distanct between them, "I find it quite a bold endeavor and a strong iniative to take. I doubt you will be weak willed about it, since you're not like most Humes...I can smell it. Why is that?"
A chill rushed down her spine as her ears twitched at the blow of the whisper. Her lids drooped as she gazed at her lips reading them, while feeling them get closer. The red orbs blinked at the confession; her Cookie was almost sixity without any indication of becoming stale.Tasting her lips and the cavern of her mouth Coffee shuddered as her senses flooded with mist, but it wasn't overwhelming yet to tint her eyes.
She continued tasting the insides of Coffee's mouth as her playful tongue meet bunny's and embraced each other with a wet hug before stopping to continue talking with her.
"I'm familiar with the tale of Prometheus, and I doubt any god would attempt to punish me for ushering a new era of perfection and prosperity for all that is mortal"
Being a woman of science she cared not for what religion and myths said about attempting to surpass what is considered sacred and preferred to focus in the the physical realm of biology.
"Talking about tales, I wonder why my dearest cocoa bunny knows about Prometheus, such tale was part of the mythology of a culture long deceased in my world. I wonder if my sweetheart somehow ended visiting my world or maybe ... many worlds share a similar past, diverging at some point of their history. I'm sure that my clever and smart love doll noticed how many world shared similarities despite being technically completely different worlds, and I'm pretty sure the humans from your world are the same as the humans of any other world, only different culture and history wise"
Judging for what she saw until now it wasn't really a farfetched idea. She already toyed with the idea of all human and demi-human lifeform having a similar biological evolution as she mentioned to the witch Jadis in attempt to prove that she was still a human like any other else, just in another evolutionary stage and couldn't consider herself not human. And having a strong biological evidence about all human life being pretty much the same regardless the world from where they came, it was very possible that culture-wise they shared a similar past as the technological level of the many adventurers arriving to Traverse Town matched with the ones of different eras of her own, ranging from swordsmen akin to the feudal era up to gun fighters like in the modern times of her world, some travelers even having equipment considered only science-fiction in her native world. For what she knew, there could be a world where old myth figures like Prometheus existed and were still worshiped.
"Leaving aside my theories about the universe, it would be better to simply show you something more watchable"
She picked one of Coffee's hands, carefully looking for the finger which had the sharpest nail and slowly inserted it within the skin and flesh of her right arm, dragging it for some centimeters leaving a small trail of blood behind. Done the flesh wound, she showed her love girl how the superficial wound almost immediately healed, leaving not a single scar in the scientist's soft skin.
"And this is the beauty of enhanced regeneration. It would take longer if it were to heal more severe injuries like losing an arm, but as long I have my Coffee as companion, nothing would hurt me enough to show you that"
She picked the claw of the bunny and seductively licked what little of her own blood still lingered on the sharp nail of the seductress bunny
