In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

With a groan, brown skin stretched with her muscles. A long halberd was held above a pair of long rabbit ears as the viera stretched vertically until standing on her toes. Releasing herself from the stance, Coffee began strolling with her nose alert for any prey or humes. She needed to get back on her game, since everything took an unknown turn such as: running into Saga, who emotionally broke down on her. Also Creme had arrived as well, and seeing how things were going, they may not be staying in Traverse Town for long.
The viera had enough lounging time and was back on business. Croutching down, she lept up to elegantly land on the town rooftops. It wasn't surprising to see small mage elemental heartless. Sniffing, she could smell the fire forming before it was launched at her, but with a casual lean, the viera dodge the primitive attack.
"Looks like I found practice," with a lung forward, Esmeralda gleamed with the streetlights before slicing through the frail heartless. The tall ears twitched hearing their bounty drop to the floor. Although it wasn't much, every bit counts, "yet again hardly any value."
The small fries were hardly a sense of work out or warm up. Rolling her eyes, the viera jumped down into the third district. The last time she was here, she had spotted a nobody, which Saga kept locked away. With a low hum, she looked around to find nothing too interesting. "This place is too dull for my tastes."
There was no drive, high, or adrenaline. If she needed a lazy slumber, this would be the world for it.
With a sigh a man walked out of the local bar of Traverse Town upon hearing they did not carry a brew from Terra or even a local brew that could satisfy the mans eccentric tastes. Kuja flipped his hair out of his face to have it fall delicately back into place, forever being an annoyance and thing of beauty to the Heartless. He stopped and almost walked back into the bar to see if he could mix the proper alcohol together to make his specialty but he continued on with another sigh. He was growing bored with this world and others like it, the same boring humans and the same old boring battles with those weak humans. Not even Elaeus' promise of eternal beauty and power was enough to keep the Genome from getting restless and irate. Kuja craved excitement and wanted to be a part of the bigger picture; plays, opera, and other things of the sort.
"Se la ve," he mumbled under his breath as he passed a young couple on a bench enjoying the cool breeze under the starry sky. The Genome very much enjoyed watching youths fall head over heels for one another, love was the most powerful force in the world. Love held a special place in Kujas mind of respect, the only true and yet the only thing evil enough to bring people together and destroy them. He was ready to call it a day when he saw the most peculiar thing, a bunny like creature slaying a Heartless and then looking rather bored with herself.
"How....stirring" Kuja thought to himself as he made his way silently to the apparent female. But Kuja did not want to arrive the "party" with just a simple appearance; it had to be as grand and magnificent as he was. But all he could think of was the portal Elaeus' darkness brought forth. With a roll of his eyes he formed one around himself and was behind the female in a matter of seconds.
"My, my. Was that merely an act of boredom or was there a bigger picture hiding somewhere? Is your beauty a mere illusion to strength or is it a defense mechanism? Pardon my interruption but I am Kuja, and I very much wish to know who you might be my fair lady". If there was any amount of sarcasim or boldness it was not made apparent in Kujas words. Even he himself did not know they held any true value of honesty or not.

Hissing in a native tongue, Coffee could smell it, a thick bog of darkness mist. Her eyes illuminated animalistically as she firmly gripped her halberd. An ear twitched for it, but heard a disruption in space instead, a dark portal had opened. Not liking having anyone be behind her, her ears became her eyes to listen out for any fast movement, but all they recieved was...dialogue.
"For a one of them, you ask plenty of questions," her head turned to face him revealing her bright marroon brown tinted eyes. Her nose twitched to the right, while her claws tapped rhythmically against the length of Esmeralda. Looking him up and down, a brow cocked wondering if what she saw was serious. She isn't one to judge one's attire, since vieras had their own to be known for. "But I wonder why do you ask so much; are you just as bored to strike random conversation with a random person?"
Coffee walked a head to lean against the walls of the Third District. While her eyes looked up at the night sky, while an ear turned towards Kuja for any words or movement.
Kuja let a small giggle escape his pale lips under the lights of the town, this young woman here was more than just a pretty face. She portrayed a certain form of edginess about her as Kuja did about himself. An interesting night this should prove to be indeed. The Genome mimicked the motions of his esteemed guest and leaned against a wall to his immediate left and spoke once more.
"Ah yes, a veil of boredom casts itself ever so annoyingly around me tonight. A small and feeble task it is to wait to see if you are needed elsewhere but all I to look forward too his more boredom. As I see you are undoubtedly unamused tonight with the slaying of one of my lesser brothers. But no worry, they all must find solace in their life, we must do the same." Kuja droned on rather lethargically as he, unknowingly, mimicked his guest and looked upon the sky. He did wonder if Zidane and his lot where still alive or just floating as souls on Gaia or even more Terra.
The Heartless wanted to question the motive as to why the woman slew the Heartless with no sign as to it provoking an attack or even causing anyone else a hint or once of remorse or annoyance. A soft sigh slithered out of his mouth as he decided to ask his question, although it was rather long-winded. "I do wonder as to why you killed that Shadow Heartless. Was an act of self-preservation? Or an act of revenge from your species being driven to the brink of extinction from them? Or was it simple out of pure spite, for it being alive. I care not for which, I simply like....knowing things."

"If you are so bored, then how about demand to be needed until your boredom is sated. Afterall the squeaky airship gets the grease, and since you can always make a demand, you are your own blame for your boredom." Coffee replied nonchalantly, while checking the sharpness of her claws before flexing her fingers.
Her brows furrowed at the question. Although she wasn't considered a viera, the viera weren't weak to die by bloody shadows. Call it pride if you will. The options he gave were a bit insulting. Those who seeks revenge are just fools who uses that as their only tool for existence...pathetic. Out of spite was a waste of energy and time; it wasn't productive.
"No, you just like to be nosey. To correct, the viera species aren't extinct or at the brink. You guys aren't that hard of a kill...well the handful I've been aside. It's just business; I have hunts; I track down; I get paid. Simple enough for you to grasp right?" She ended with a teasing question, while pushing herself off the wall. "I'm focused on my work, so I would appreciate it if you don't disturb of any future ones. As for the moment, my employee haven't made much high demands just yet."
"But soon she may greet me with a unique hunt...and I shall love every second of it."
Kuja chuckled when the female accused him of being nosy, but his thirst for knowledge is nothing more than curiosity at its finest. But nosy? Maybe. But this woman seems to be more knowledgeable than she leads on to be, Kuja likes to see this in people these days. To him all the worlds are infected by people that simply follow their hearts to no end and never stop to question if that their doing is for their own good or even the worlds good. Be it good or bad people should not dive in head first.
"True, I could end my own boredom but for what? Go and ease this feeling just to be brought back to it soon? I can handle a little boredom while I wait for orders to attack or kill. But what of you? You say you have hunts but yet you are here killing my weak brothers and going on about some girl. Fancy her? Or is she just a close friend?" The Genome brushed his hair out of his eyes as her thought of his brother Zidane. Kuja wondered if his brother was even alive and if he was if he knew of the vast worlds out there to visit. Kuja thought not.
"You say Heartless are weak, have you fought ones of the Higher Class yet? We are more than meets the eye. We can take the form of human but beneath may be a blood thirsty animal in wait for a feeble foe. Dont you agree?"

"Fancy?" Coffee's ear twitched at the thought, "I swear people these days know how to jump the bandwagon quite irrationally. You're nosey, but you don't listen. Like I said, she's my boss. I hunt; I get paid. I thought such thing was simple to grasp."
A brow perked as he commence chattering, "So you guys love to put yourselves on pedestals. I've went up against enough 'high class hunts' back at home. I doubt you're lot wouldn't be so different, since when it comes to survival everything becomes carnal. Plus if you guys were easy pickings, I would be out of a job, and it would be boring."
"No matter without the weak, you can't identify who's strong and vice versa."
"Oh I can hear just fine my dear, I simply like to see how people react to misconceptions made by others. I fully understand that you are a woman of power and influence as I am a man of the same fold. We are a rareity in the worlds, for I fear that people are becoming afraid of standing out, marching to a different drum if you will. They see being different as weak because the famous beings stay to the some routine and appear strong." Kuja remarked as he took a few steps forward and crossed his arms. He smiled when the woman pin-pointed the attitude of most Heartless, but what she didn't know was that most of them can back up their talk. With this an idea popped in his head, one of beauty, cunning, and brutality.
"You don't say," Kuja began as he turned his head to see the Viera just out of the corner of his eye, "To find the weak and fear the strong all it takes is a keen eye, like you for example. I see you as a woman who uses her looks to lull "marks" into a false sense of security and then your true deadly beatuty shows and none remains. Am I right?" the Genome gave a small chuckle and turned his gaze to night sky and the moon. He wanted to battle this woman to see if he was right but more...probing could prove useful.
